Not many shock releases but enough to say they were having a mini shake up of the companies brands and overall staff rosters. From the RAW brand the most notable on-screen names released were that of Nick Dinsmore (aka Eugene) for apparent further drug related problems, Charlie Haas for reported attitude problems since his return (mainly down to push/TV time received), Rob Conway and Super Crazy, who's release was less predictable considering his recent months usage. RAW also saw two of the older Divas depart as Candice Michelle & Torrie Wilson were both given the boot. On RAW's staff front ref's Chad Patton and Mike Chioda became casualties, as did backstage interviewer/Heat play-by-play announcer Todd Grisham. Smackdown saw the likes of Shannon Moore, Jamie Noble and most surprisingly Joey Mercury get released before the week ended out. Despite Mercury's drug problems his position looked to have been saved due to his MNM links, but like Eugene he was seen as not reliable. Its thought the other two were due to the classic lack of creative direction etc.... Several SD Divas were also handed their p45's as Jillian Hall, Maryse Ouellet and Playboy/Divas search winner Ashley Massaro fell into the we've seen you naked now so your not needed anymore trap. The most extreme number of cuts occurred in the ECW brand, unsurprisingly, with Vince McMahon having the view to rid the brand of the ECW originals that were once the making of the promotion. Firstly Sabu, who's contract was up after WrestleMania was released, then Joey Styles had his contract terminated with immediate effect and by the end of the week all likeliness to ECW was gone as Balls Mahoney, Stevie Richards, The Sandman and Little Guido all received news of their departure. Tommy Dreamer wasn't released but has been moved down to OVW to help out on the training of future superstars with Al Snow. The only non ECW original to be released was that of Mike Knox. Ohio Valley Wrestling had a number of WWE developmental wrestlers released during the second week of annual cuts, with Braddock (aka Roadkill), KC James, Aaron Stevens (aka Idol Stevens), Johnny Jeter (aka Johnny of Spirit Squad), Nick Nemeth (aka Nicky of SS) and Matt Cappotelli being the most recognizable. All were apparently seen as too much hard work to revamp or re-gimmick from previous persona's. Cappotelli's release was a shock, due to on going health problems, this news evoked much hatred from the OVW lockeroom towards Vince/WWE higher ups. Deep South Wrestling didn't see quite as many leave from their WWE Developmental contracts as OVW, but the unlucky couple were Jon Bolen and Derrick Neikirk. Bolen had only recently moved from OVW to DSW after his tag partner Ryan Reeves was released earlier in the year and Neikirk did start teaming again with former partner Mike Knox in January but his departure had the writing on the wall for him also. Staff Shake Up (Mid April 2007) During the middle of April the WWE followed on from their annual cuts with another round of releases, only this time it was of an off screen staff variety. The major names released were Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko and Ricky Steamboat, another sign of WWE trying to further their product away from those experienced in the wrestling field, all were thought to be for staff restructuring reasons. Another person to be released, although less known to the masses, was that of John Laurinaitis (aka Johnny Ace). He had long been seen as Vince's right hand man but for some unknown reason was let go from his contract, surprising many backstage. Lachlan Murdoch/F-X Networks (Late April) In late April Rupert Murdoch named son Lachlan Murdoch as the new Managing Director of the F-X Networks branch of the News Corporation empire. Its believed Lachlan has been charged with a task of simply making the channels more popular around the world, the youth market of extreme sports in particular was an area of focus outlined by Lachlan as a possibility for future programming. Paul Heyman Gone (Early May) After Vince McMahon's rather public attack of Paul Heyman's ECW PPV December To Dismember in early December, Heyman was sent home to sit the remainder of his contract out. McMahon wanted Heyman gone as he in Vince's eyes was the reason for the poor PPV showing, him and other ECW originals of course. However he resisted an actual firing to prevent Paul going to work for TNA, a rumor which had long been seen all over wrestling forums around the net. Instead Heyman was left to sit at home to decide his next project until his contract expired, that date being at the start of May, something Heyman couldn't wait for. So with his contract up the rumors once again hit news sites and forums, with TNA fans expecting an announcement in near future. Gregory Helms Released (Mid May) Immediately after WrestleMania WWE's roster had seen a change and many previously pushed wrestlers in late 06/early 07 were now starting to be overlooked again. Gregory Helms had seen himself go from being the longest reigning Cruiserweight champion to The Boogeyman's worm food, something which had left a bitter taste in the normal cool and calm Shane Helms mouth. The transition from Superhero to an actual proper persona on the Smackdown brand had given Helms hope for the next step up to US Title level but that soon died after Mania, with the final straw being a TV show defeat to Little Boogeyman. Helms decided that enough was enough and despite having time remaining on his contract and the chance of losing a secure deal, he'd aim about getting released. To aid this Helms turned to the Jeff Hardy art of getting fired by no showing a few events, which lead to the eventual release result and despite a solid 90 day no compete clause Helms was satisfied he made the right decision. This was further proved by TNA's immediate approach for his services, to which was left on the table for him to consider while sitting out his release clause. Murdoch & Heyman Meet (Late May) Within a month of Heyman's WWE contract expiring he had received a handful of offers from around the world, TNA being the biggest deal, that was until Lachlan Murdoch made contact with the former owner of ECW. Lachlan, son of Rupert and now the MD of the F-X Networks, turns out has always been an avid pro wrestling fan and had long been an admirer of Paul Heyman. He saw Paul Heyman as the ideal man to work with and help push forward a new wrestling promotion/product for the revamped F-X Networks, which would be aiming at attracting the youth market via the extreme sports area of entertainment. Before the initial meeting Heyman seemed slightly unsure of what Lachlan had in mind and how this would be structured but afterwards Heyman was sure of where his future lied. Lachlan and Heyman spoke for hours during the meeting about product, business and all things wrestling, to which all outcomes looked more favorable to Heyman than the other offers on the table. Lachlan Murdoch would be the major backer of the project, but Paul Heyman would have an equal 50% right of the company, just to insure Heyman's sense of security within the project, the promotion style was to be a mix, but the main aspects would aim on bringing forward an old school ECW type approach/atmosphere with an added sports entertainment feel, basically it could be described as what the new ECW could have been if Heyman had more control, no occasional "Extreme Rules" matches and the like. Anyway this meeting of the minds would enable Heyman to have full reigns of the wrestling side of the promotion with Lachlan concentrating his efforts on the business front. This partnership would see them have a 1hr show slot on the F-X Networks on whatever day Heyman saw fit, with endless options for future growth if needed and promotion was successful. So with initial plans and verbal agreements made, the start of a new promotion was in the works for Paul Heyman and the wrestling world. Rob Van Dam Leaves WWE (Early June) No major shock here, just days before WWE's One Night Stand III, Rob Van Dam's contract officially expired seeing him leave the huge company with immediate effect, much to his pleasure. It was thought by many that once his WWE contract was up he'd be leaving, as suggested many times by himself in interviews, despite WWE's last ditch attempts to offer the former ECW wrestler big money to stay on, not so much to aid their own stock but basically to hinder TNA's progress with a potential big market signing. Of course TNA were quick to make contact with RVD but their interest couldn't tempt Van Dam as he had already discussed his future with former ECW boss Paul Heyman, who of course was in the motions of creating a new promotion and home from the likes of Rob Van Dam. Murdoch & Heyman Meet Again (Early July) Lachlan Murdoch & Paul Heyman meet again in early July to confirm and set about the actual details for their new wrestling promotion. The first part of the discussion was about an offer that Paul Heyman received only days prior to this meeting, Paul Heyman had been subject of an offer made by Frank Goodman, the owner & president of Independent wrestling promotion UXW. Goodman, who was wanting to move away from the wrestling business was looking for a successor to his promotion and thought Heyman might be interested. Heyman explained his current position and deal with Lachlan Murdoch, to which Goodman understood and left the offer on the table. Upon hearing this news Murdoch discussed the option with Heyman about using the offer as a way to gain the legal rights to what he thought sounded like a great name for a new promotion; UXW. So the discussions ended with Lachlan himself ringing Goodman to offer him a substantial figure for the promotion, at least more than what he'd have been able to receive via other options. The deal would see Heyman & Murdoch become joint owners to the name, logo and website of Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling (UXW), with the idea of re-debuting the promotion as a brand new entity in order to create a new history and start with a blank canvas. So with the deal in place for the promotion side of things the topic quickly turned to that of the roster, to which Heyman was able to confirm the following major wrestlers names to verbal agreements; Rob Van Dam, Shane Helms, Sabu, Joey Matthews, Charlie Haas, Andrew Martin, Nick Dinsmore, Joey Styles (as play by play announcer) and Dean Malenko (as road agent). Lachlan was pleased to see Heyman had been quick in gathering a useful starting base for the roster and as soon as deal for UXW was completed that they'd start to offer written deals for whoever Heyman wanted. At this point the conversation turned to projected start dates and a date in early September was penciled in, allowing all no compete clauses to run their course and to ensure plenty of time to work out all the final details for the promotion. A last point raised by Heyman was that of location, something which Paul wanted nailed down by Lachlan as soon as possible, that being the Hammerstein Ballroom, with ONS III being pulled from the arena the locations officials were less than pleased with WWE's dealings and Heyman saw this as an ideal opportunity to gain the most ideal wrestling arena for this project on an exclusive deal, something Lachlan said he'd sort out within the week. Official UXW Press Release (Early August) At the start of August Lachlan Murdoch & Paul Heyman released an official press release for their new wrestling promotion Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling (UXW). It wasn't pages long but outlined all the major details that the wrestling fans would want to know, that on Wednesday 5th of September 2007, at 10pm on the F-X Network, UXW would be making their debut in the form of an hour long weekly TV show called WAR. The promotion was simply described as being an xtreme form of sports entertainment that would see the likes of Rob Van Dam, Shane Helms, Sabu and more, take center stage live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. WNX Website > Latest News Report - Saturday, 1st September, 2007

TNA Star In UXW Talks, WAR Debut News, UXW Titles
>< According to sources we can reveal that Paul Heyman & UXW are in talks to sign a major TNA star, its believed the most likely names, which have been kept very hush hush so far, is likely to be someone whom has previously worked for Heyman in ECW. This leads us here at WNX to believe it to be one of the following; Raven, Rhino or The Dudley's, with Raven as the leading guess due to current push/believed happiness in TNA. Raven is apparently wanting one last major singles push for the title but TNA management only see his future as a mentor type role for Serotonin.

>< With only 5 days until UXW's WAR debut on the F-X Networks, we can confirm the current main event plan is set to be Rob Van Dam going one on one against Shane Helms. Of course with us still awaiting the initial UXW roster to be added to the UXW website, plans can or could change depending on new signings/current roster set up, but our sources close to the scene are fairly confident this will be the first UXW main event.

>< Along with us awaiting news on the UXW roster, we are also waiting for confirmation on what titles will be introduced into the promotion. With Heyman in charge we here at WNX expect he'll go with a 3 title format, a main title, a tag title and another non divisional title (meaning a TV, IC or US type title), the reason for no extreme type title is that the format of matches will follow the old ECW rules, where there aren't any rules, thus no need to have such a divisional title that has been making the rounds on many news sites. Heyman is thought to want no bias on weight and will address that by naming the main title without heavyweight in the title, to help clear fans perceived ideas that only the bigger guys will have a chance/can go for title. WNX Website > Latest News Report - Wednesday, 5th September, 2007

Breaking News: TNA Star Backstage At WAR
>< We here at WNX can reveal that former ECW and current TNA star Raven has been spotted backstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where of course it is the venue/home for UXW's WAR show. WAR is scheduled to debut live tonight at 10pm on the F-X Network and its not currently known if Raven will be appearing on the show or not, but sources have suggested to us that he has indeed signed a deal with UXW. WNX reported only days ago that a major TNA wrestler was the subject of an approach by UXW owner Paul Heyman, with Raven, Rhino and The Dudley's being of prime candidacy. So with this news it seems the former ECW World Champion & NWA World Heavyweight Champion was the wrestler in question, we'll of course report further on this huge breaking news story when we get more details.
Copyright © WNX.com 2007. Me WAR show is only bout a third done at the moment, so will probably be posted in next day or two. Well, its a combo of whatever data got released about a month ago (can't remember name) and stuff i've transfered over from TEW 05 to suit my game playing needs for this diary. Yep i'm complicated and weird, basically i'm waiting for T-Zone, but until that is ready, this gets the job done for me, although its far from perfect unfortunately. As for me first WAR show, I've just the main event to do and then it'll be posted, although i'm not fully settled yet on how the finish is to go down, changed my idea for it about 5 or 6 times.

UXW Website > TV Show > WAR > Results - Wednesday, 5th September, 2007

---------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the website of Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling! ------------------------------------- Wednesday - 5th September - 2007 Venue: Hammerstein Ballroom City: New York, New York Attendance: 2500 Commentators: Joey Styles & Robbie Dawber Show Info: Wednesday Night - 10pm - F-X Network WAR'S INCEPTION

WAR's Inception show starts off with its opening video package of some of UXW's wrestlers doing what they do best, accompanied with WAR's theme music of "There's Going To Be A War!" by Nonpoint. As the video came to a finish the camera panned around the fans in the packed out Hammerstein Ballroom, which had a much darker feel than normal with the balconies covered in huge black based banners similar to the look of the UXW website. When the camera shot finally focused in on the ring, there stood the owner of UXW Paul Heyman clapping the UXW fans.

After the strong "thank you Paulie" chant died down Paul Heyman took a second to take in the new but familiar surroundings, then he started by saying Welcome to Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling! Paul told the crowd he'd be short and sweet tonight, as this wasn't the time or place to answer all those questions of what he thinks about his previous boss, how he feels about the new product he was once an owner of or what actually happened backstage after the PPV fans now wished never happened. He went on to say tonight was about a new promotion, a new start, a new home for wrestlers and fans alike, that UXW won't be battling any invisible war's and that the only war UXW will be a part of, will be between wrestlers fighting within the walls of the Hammerstein Ballroom! With that said Paul Heyman introduced the UXW commentators to enable the show to get under way, firstly "The Voice of Hardcore" Joey Styles came out through the graffiti'd grey brick wall entrance way and made his way to his left to a slightly elevated platform announcers desk. Next out was a relative newcomer to an announcers desk Heyman said, but he owed him a favour so the UXW colour commentator was introduced as Robbie Dawber.

Once at their desk Joey welcomed all those at home to UXW and WAR's Inception show, before highlighting the two massive matches scheduled for tonights debut. Robbie Dawber then welcomed himself to the show and immediately tried to push forward his theories on life, as Dawber claimed that he's been busy prior to tonight gathering up signatures for the petition he held before him. Signatures from members of his community apparently for the outright banning of Joey Styles offensive "OH MY GOD!!" catch phrase. Robbie Dawber claimed to be religious minded and over 500 people all agreed with him, Styles grabbed the petition away from Dawber and started looking down the list of names until he stopped at one and said...... "The Pope", right, sure, was Joey's next response before throwing it into the crowd and getting the show on the road! With his super charged entrance music of "Bulldozer" by Machine Head blazing over the sound system the crowd's creative chant of "Hip Hop Hippo" was pretty much drowned out. Bernard looked both angry and confident at the same time as he tested out the corner turnbuckle with his own head a couple of times, until the lights went out for the usual entrance of "The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying" Sabu. Once the the bell rang Sabu immediately tried a few dives towards the legs of the man mountain, but to no success, infact on the third attempt Bernard managed to grab hold of Sabu long enough to pound down a few hard punches onto his back to gain control of the match up. Albert continued to dominate Sabu for the next few minutes inside the ring with a strong ground and pound style, until he decided to take the fight to the outside to cause some real damage. The route to the outside was one of force as Bernard simply tossed Sabu head first through the middle rope causing the unpredictable Sabu to collide head first into the steal railings and floor, much to Bernard's pleasure. The next moments of the match saw Albert Bernard continue the assault on Sabu around the outside of ring, using the railings, ring post, stairs and the ring itself to inflict pain on Sabu. With Sabu reeling Bernard rolled Sabu back into the ring convinced he'd done enough to put away his opponent, however as he lifted Sabu up above his head for the Bernard Bomb Sabu managed to roll out over the top into a sunset flip/drop kick to the face combo, giving Sabu a brief rest bite from the big man. Sabu quickly used a couple of different springboard moves to keep Bernard down before sliding out to pull a table out from under the ring, he slid it in, landed a quick spinning leg drop onto the bald monster and then returned to setting up the table near the corner of the ring ready for any sort of high flying corner move. With the big man struggling up to his feet Sabu bounced off the middle rope to hit a springboard back elbow knocking Albert down, who then rolled to the outside to evade anymore of the onslaught Sabu was building. This move didn't put Sabu off of course as he quickly slid out to grab a chair from the corner where the ring-bell man sat, he slid back in and lined the chair up ready to seemingly fly over the top rope, but just as he turned to gain momentum off the ropes across the ring.......... ......the man now known by his real name, Andrew Martin came out from the entrance way into the ring to connect with a huge big boot just as Sabu turned around, stopping him dead in his tracks and at the same time saving Bernard from getting a surprise from over the top rope. Martin then proceeded to beat down on Sabu for a few min's before using the chair to full effect to finally knock Sabu out cold. By this time Albert Bernard had recovered and re-entered the ring with a huge grin on his face as the pair shared a knowing glance towards each other before "The Bulldozer" lifted Sabu up for the Bernard Bomb (a sitdown elevated powerbomb) he tried for earlier, however this time connecting with it and gaining the three count from ref Mike Chioda.

Winner by Pin Fall = Albert Bernard (12:52)

With the match over former tag team partners Bernard and Martin decided they hadn't done enough damage as they moved Sabu towards the still unbroken table near the corner, they then nailed him through the table via a double spinebuster slam type move completely destroying Sabu. Having no doubt seen enough from the back "The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam came running out from the back to chase off the two attackers with a chair in hand to save his former tag team partner Sabu from any further destruction.

   Commercial Break

As we returned from the break "Master of Puppets" by Metallica was playing as the UXW fans were treated to an appearance in the ring from "Selfless" Stevie Richards, not to wrestle though, he was there to address the fans about his newly self titled nickname and what the future holds for him in UXW. Stevie started out by saying while some may think its been hard for Stevie Richards over the last few years, what with defeat after defeat, but he said its not been because its just not been his time yet. Richards added that all wrestlers have a moment in time when they are at there peak or in their prime as some would say, Stevie simply said his moment hasn't arrived yet, but he sure as hell wasn't going to cripple himself in the meanwhile. The crowd started a "your a loser" chant, to which Stevie responded by saying that he isn't a loser, he's just been plain "Selfless" over the last few years, he's given others their time in the spotlight. Stevie went on to mention that some wrestlers beat themselves up every night trying to be the best when its simply not their turn, thats not only selfish, but also stupid Richards said. Finally Stevie turned slightly more serious, told the UXW fans and wrestlers to listen up cause when the time comes, when Stevie Richards enters his prime, he'll not think twice about turning from "Selfless" Stevie Richards to "Selfish" Stevie Richards!

Singles Match Brent Albright vs Kid Kash Ref = Chad Patton

After both men made their entrances "The Shooter" Brent Albright started off the match quickly and was making short work of Kid Kash before Kash resorted to a rack of the eyes to steam the flow of attack. He followed that up with some strong fore arm punches and kicks, leading to him eventually locking in a string of armbar submission moves. Kash talking trash throughout the wearing down process about how two can play the old submission game, before he then ****ily slapped Brent in the back of the head a few times. Kash's ****y nature was what would prove to be his downfall though as whilst he was trash talking the crowd after another submission move, it allowed Albright to recover enough to hit an atomic drop when he turned around. Having gained the advantage Albright set Kash up for a Razor's Edge, dropped him on the rope stun gun style, then hit a German Suplex, held on for a Tazplex and went on to finish "The Notorious K.I.D" with his Crowbar submission move (a fujiwara armbar variation) for the quick tap out win. A gorgeous chain of moves shown by Albright to chalk up an impressive win in his first UXW match.

Winner by Submission = Brent Albright (6:45) Commercial Break

After that solid showing by two former big league wrestlers, especially by Brent Albright, Todd Grisham made his way into the ring to announce his guest and also a former big league wrestler, the man who now claims to feel free, well and ready to fight, "The Freedom Fighter" Nick Dinsmore. Dinsmore came out to a decent response despite a particular section of the crowd starting a "**** off Eugene" chant, which actually brought a smile to his face as he seemed to nod along in agreement. Once in the ring Grisham asked the tough personal first question concerning his recent release for another violation of the wellness program of his former employer. Dinsmore said it was okay, he knows that its a question needed to be asked, that its important for the UXW officials and fans to know how he is, if it will affect his wrestling and if UXW were to have a similar program, would he be the first to fail it. An honest Dinsmore said that he had problems, ones that aren't an example he'd like any wrestling fan to follow, but the key point was that he had them. Further saying its a part of his past now and everybody need not worry to his physical or mental state, finishing up by telling Grisham he felt free, well and ready to fight. With that said Grisham said "what right now?", to which was confirmed with a nod and a suggestion to anybody in the back to accept an open challenge. Just as it looked like no one was coming out, "Mainlining Murder" by Lars Frederiksen and The Bastards started up on the sound system bringing out the unfamiliar figure to most fans of Sterling James Keenan.

Sterling James Keenan proceeded to walk down to the squared circle looking ready for action, as Dinsmore did a few stretches whilst awaiting his first opponent in UXW. However, once in the ring Keenan asked for a mic and introduced himself to a curious looking Dinsmore. SJK went on to say that although he's ready for action, he can't wrestle Dinsmore, as it wouldn't be ethical in his mind. This of course confused the man, ironically best known for playing a character who had that as a common trait. SJK, told Dinsmore to cool down, to listen really carefully for the small print and he'd know exactly what he was getting at. Keenan told Dinsmore SJK doesn't mix business with pleasure, claiming that wrestling is his ultimate pleasure, but his business would be of an xtreme interest to Dinsmore. Having confused the hell out of the fans and one would guess Nick Dinsmore as well, SJK left the ring to the entrance way, stopping just before heading out back and saying "I'll speak to you next week Nick, I'm sure you'll want to do business".

Backstage in Rob Van Dam's lockeroom we see "Mr. Wednesday Night" warming up for his match against Shane Helms looking very focused after what happened earlier, when...... BOOM!! The door to the room was kicked off its hinges by two men you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley, Albert Bernard and Andrew Martin. They stormed in and just as RVD looked round, the massive pair started to reign down blow after blow onto the former ECW star's back. Following the punches were some stiff kicks, they then stopped having done enough damage and told RVD that this was a friendly warning to stay out of their business, else next time they'd take his head off its hinges just like what they did to the door. Having made their point the duo formerly known as T&A left the room with RVD slowly climbing up onto a bench, shaking his head at what troubles are potentially already facing him in UXW.

WAR then took us to some footage filmed earlier in the day of Charlie Haas working out in the ring with a number of sparing partners, in an empty Hammerstein Ballroom. UXW Interviewer Kevin Kelly was ringside waiting to catch a few words from the former tag team wrestler, but every time Kelly thought his chance was coming, when a wrestler would tap out to Haas, another wrestler quickly entered the ring in what can only be described as a gauntlet type training method. Finally Haas made the 5th wrestler tap out via his Haas of Pain submission move, which followed on from a explosive Exploder Suplex and he walked towards the ropes where Kelly stood. Kelly asked Haas when we'll see him in action for UXW and what the fans can expect, Charlie simply said he feels like "Dynamite" at the moment and that he'll be ready for wrestling next week.

Commercial Break Main Event Singles Match Rob Van Dam vs Shane Helms Ref = Mike Chioda

After the commercial break it was time for the main event match and "The Sensation of Innovation" Shane Helms was first to come out from the back to his electronic style music of "Activate, are you ready?" by Juan Ignacio Sestini. He was wearing a fetching pair of futuristic looking glasses and long sleeveless shiny leather jacket, to which the crowd will be sure to create a new chant for over the coming weeks, this week they settled for a simple "you still suck" chant. Then once Helms was in the ring the crowd became silent waiting for "Mr. Wednesday Night" Rob Van Dam's new entrance music to start, that being "Revolution" by P.O.D and once it did the crowd made their voices heard with a huge "R-V-D" chant as he came down the aisle towards the ring, of course somewhat gingerly after the prior attack backstage. Just after the bell rang for the start of the match, Shane left the ring and grabbed a mic from Todd Grisham who was sitting next to the ring-bell man (who by the way, does have an actual name, but wishes to remain nameless). Helms walked along the side of the ring while telling the crowd to shut up while "The Sensation" speaks, which only seemed to gain more boos from the fans, especially one fan who managed to really annoy Helms to the point where he took his eyes off RVD to berate the fan. Then seeing a chance to attack Van Dam bounced off one side of the ring ropes, charged across the ring and just as Helms turned around he was meet full on by a diving RVD who came flying through second rope and crashed down upon Helms into the railings. Seconds later RVD jumped up to his feet and signaled "R-V-D" to the fans with his thumbs behind his head, before again holding an area of his back. With this advantage Van Dam picked Helms up, rolled him back into the ring and charged across the ring off the ropes and came back towards Helms with a Rolling Thunder. Again RVD did his signature motion to the crowd before grabbing Helms up to try for a lifting double underhook facebuster, only for Helms to manage one arm free to hit a low blow. With this change in direction Helms immediately started to stomp down on Van Dam with numerous kicks around the back area of his body before nailing several jumping knee drops. Helms continued with the ground attack on RVD's back for the next portion of the match before settling down and locking in a spine damaging bow and arrow submission hold. Helms maintained this position for at least a couple of minutes pulling down with the arms and pushing up with the knees more and more every time RVD tried to get out of it. Finally with the aid of a "lets go Van Dam" chant he managed to break out of the hold after rocking side to side which dislodged Shane's hands from the hold. Both men were now starting to show signs of physical fatigue as they took a fair bit of time getting to their feet again, with Van Dam clearly feeling his back. Once up Helms b***h slapped RVD and after a second or two looking away at the crowd holding his face, Van Dam fired back with a flurry of kicks finishing off with a roundhouse kick to the face. With Helms now down RVD quickly moved to the corner, jumped up onto the top turnbuckle, stretched out his back slightly ready to fly into the air, but then the lights mysteriously went out. When they came back on RVD had managed to get down from the corner and stood near the center of the ring looking out into the crowd, only to turn around into........ Shane Helms who was just watching by now from the floor, looked towards the two and they moved away from the downed RVD's body. Helms quickly crawled to the center of the ring, rolled Van Dam over and hooked the leg for the pin fall by Mike Chioda.

Winner by Pin Fall = Shane Helms (16:48)

With the first main event decided Shane Helms climbed the corner turnbuckle and posed pointing at himself to the crowd. Helms then came back down still motioning at the crowd, only to turn straight into the two men, who he had thought didn't want a piece of him. A double kick to the gut and joint Evenflow DDT later, saw Helms join RVD laid out on the canvas as "The Gate" by Goliath starting playing over the sound system. The two men, who fans by now started to recognize as Chris Kanyon and Devon Storm, went to opposite corner turnbuckles, climbed to the second rope and held their arms out to the side. As they maintained their pose whilst looking straight down, the music continued and the commentators said goodbye from the UXW WAR Inception show! WNX Website > Latest News Report - Thursday, 6th September, 2007

Raven Update, WAR Dark Matches, Helms Injured
>< Following on from the Raven story that broke before last night's WAR debut, Raven was indeed backstage and we can concretely confirm he has signed a deal with UXW. The terms of the agreement are that he'll not be able to perform on screen until his contract runs out with TNA, which is due to expire in a couple of weeks. This was why the main event interference was used to hint towards Raven involvement without him actually appearing. Our source from backstage told WNX that Raven himself wrote the finishing angle to the show and both Chris Kaynon & Devon Storm were his suggestions to Paul Heyman to fill the roles of the disciple like characters. "The Gate" by Goliath which played to close the show will be Raven's new entrance music in UXW, again a choice made by Raven to suit his new character in UXW.

>< Before last nights WAR debut show UXW ran two dark matches to warm up the crowd. Firstly Joey Matthews (formerly known as Joey Mercury from MNM) defeated Balls Mahoney by pin fall in about 7 minutes after the use of his face mask to the forehead of Balls. The second match, saw two relative unknown performers to those un-knowledgeable of the indy scene, with Tyler Black coming out on top against Trent Acid in a fast paced 6 minute match. Black won via a Phoenix Splash from the top turnbuckle. The performances of the two young wrestlers was said to have impressed those in attendance and fans we spoke to said they can't wait to see them debut eventually.

>< After the debut WAR show finished Shane Helms revealed to Ricky Steamboat backstage that his wrist was damaged during the main event. It appears Helms injured it during the RVD dive to the outside spot at the start of the match, as it took the majority of the force when he put his hand backwards towards the floor. After a scan at local hospital it seems he may have just sprained his wrist, in which case he'll likely only miss a couple of weeks of actual wrestling for it to heal. He is still expected to be used on the shows in some fashion though.
Copyright © WNX.com 2007. The WCF will be based on a number of aspects, ranging from victories, performances in and out of the ring, impact on show or anything else our panel warrants highlighting. Below they have compiled the first weekly WCF rankings and we here at UXW.com have added their reasons for the positions.

Shane Helms

Some would say undeserving, but whether that technically be the case or not a win is a win is a win. Then factor in who the win was against, the fact it was in the first ever WAR main event and its easy to see why the WCF panel went with "The Sensation of Innovation" Shane Helms in the no.1 position.

Albert Bernard

"The Bulldozer" Albert Bernard returned to the US from his time in Japan and made an immediate impact by joining forces with a former partner in the destruction of Sabu. A destruction indeed and he got the win to boot. All in all meant Bernard was placed in at no.2 on the WCF rankings this week.

Rob Van Dam

As far as performances go, "The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam's was clearly one of the best on the night, however as said earlier a win is a win is a win and unfortunately that main event result, see's RVD in at no.3, thanks to the mysterious attack by Chris Kaynon & Devon Storm.

Brent Albright

Our panel were said to be extremely impressed with the young grappler's performance on WAR a few nights ago and had the win came against a bigger name or in the main event, then he'd without doubt be in the top position. As it was others just had bigger nights, despite the winning start in "The Shooter's" UXW career.

© 2007 Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling, Inc. Rob Van Dam (PIN) WNX Rating = B ----------------------------------------------------- The Good, The Bad and The Xtreme
The Good >< This week's good comes in the form of Paul Heyman, not so much for a performance or promo, but for giving us fans a new alternative wrestling show to enjoy each week. Some are saying it had an old school-ish ECW feel but with a new school style and however described, it was an definitely the good in this week's wrestling. As honorable mentions, many wrestlers had good performances in the ring with Albert Bernard, Brent Albright, Shane Helms and Rob Van Dam all looking good. A national TV debut for Sterling James Keenan in his angle with Nick Dinsmore showed he can cut it on the mic on big stage, whilst new colour commentator Robbie Dawber made a great partner for Joey Styles. All in all, many options, but Paul Heyman is the good in WNX's opinion this week. The Bad >< In a good debut showing by UXW it was a tough week to find a bad part of WAR, however xtreme is as xtreme does and if we were being xtremely picky, one would have wanted to see some blood spilled. Although the lack of blood didn't hinder the show, we had to find something and blood always gets the pulse rate pumping. The Xtreme >< Sabu has always been someone you think of when the word xtreme is mentioned and it was hard to look past his table spot for the xtreme in this weeks WAR. The team formerly known as T&A re-united to help Bernard gain a win but they didn't feel that was enough, as they picked Sabu up and gave him a double spinebuster slam type move through a table. A crunching move that we decided deserved the xtreme award on WAR's Inception show. RVD's dive to the outside onto Helms came close, but just missed out to the double team move.
----------------------------------------------------- WNX Wrestler of WAR = Shane Helms WNX Overall Show Rating = B- Copyright © WNX.com 2007. Then got a few UXW news pieces, mixed in with another WNX report before the following weeks preview and show goes up (only 1 match completed at mo). Anyway, please feel free to post any feedback on this or anything else diary related so far, if you so wish, tis always more than welcome.

When we did we asked what brought them back together and if this was a one night thing or something UXW fans should get used to. Andrew Martin told us in his most angry voice that himself and Albert were back together to cause as much pain as possible, as for too long they have been behind roadblock after roadblock in other wrestling promotions. Martin continued saying their first goal in UXW is to become the first ever UXW Tag Team champions and their second goal is to commit grievous bodily harm along the way. "The Bulldozer" Bernard then interjected by saying thats exactly what they should be called from now on; Grievous Bodily Harm. After those words the pair started to slap each other on the chest before telling us they were done, oh and that we were to warn everyone in Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling that G.B.H is their new name and their main aim is to cause as much pain! As ever UXW.com were the first to bring this to you, so keep checking back here for all your latest UXW news.

© 2007 Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling, Inc.
I must say that visually this is really impressive. I tired coming up with lots of things to make mine look good but yours blew my ideas right out the water
I second that. Visually, this is amazing, and wish I could present mine nearly as well as you have.

WNX Website > Latest News Report - Sunday, 9th September, 2007

Styles Unhappy, New UXW Talent, Ratings Round Up
>< Our source backstage from TNA has confirmed to us that AJ Styles was seen last week confronting management. The outburst apparently came when TNA officials went ahead with the announcement that Elevation X was set to return (in exactly same size, shape and format as before), despite Styles (and Rhyno for that matter) recommendations about the safety aspects of the match. AJ feels let down by the decision and is likely to refuse to take part in any match of that kind, if he is to be asked again. At this point in time its not known how this leaves his position in TNA, but one would imagine they will try to work with Styles on this matter to appease one of their main stars.

>< Last night the current CPW Tag Team champions, The Twin Terrors; Koko & Razz Mansour, confirmed via there myspace page that they have signed 1 year deals with Paul Heyman's UXW promotion. The twins mentioned they had sent a video C-V if you like to Heyman upon news of Ultimate Xtreme Wrestlings start up, to try and receive a try out or deal. Whilst Heyman is thought to believe the cruiserweight sized pair aren't the best in the ring, he is thought to want to use characters on UXW that could be considered slightly to risqué for the mainstream. The Twin Terrors didn't suggest they'd be moving from Canada soon though, but did hint towards the starting of a long term storyline in the next couple of weeks.

>< An impressive start for UXW as they performed better in the TV ratings than TNA, although Heyman is determined to become more of a threat to top two eventually. For now ECW is surely in his sights and the addition of Raven shortly will without doubt aid that. Weekly TV Ratings Round Up 1. Anyway please feel free to post any feedback on anything diary related so far, if you so wish, tis always more than welcome. Cheers guys, its probably just a case of having too much time on me hands and I must admit the pics aren't totally from scratch like, just nipping and tucking of pics from google searches to come up with something useful. Anyway hopefully I can get the shows and promotion stuff to get near the presentation side of things as well eventually. :)
