  1. Curt Hennig vs. AJ Styles FTR vs. Hart Foundation El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Jushin Thunder Lyger
  2. I watched (then) WWF from 1992 until 2001, WCW until 1999, ECW until they went belly up. Stopped for a couple of years as didn't like WWE's product. Started watching wrestling again in 2003 when I found out there was a local company (FWA) running shows and expanded my knowledge on the Indies, Mexico & Japan until 2015 when I stopped watching wrestling altogether (I know its ironic as I still did the real world updates for TEW). Started watching AEW in 2019 but for the most part these days, I just watch old 80's and 90's wrestling.
  3. They're doing a Hockey version?! I will have to check that out when its released. Wasn't a huge fan of Mutant Football League (in that I was crap at it 😁) but loved the concept of it.
  4. Might not be what you wanted but I just had a bit of fun with it.
  5. My favourite company is no more (GCG). Don't think I've really played much C-Verse on TEW20 - partly because I just don't seem to have any fun booking the other companies. I have tried but I get bored after the first month. I may start a game where I bring back GCG... who know's.
  6. Using my own promotion, my current champions are; CRUSH World - Trinity Fatu (72 days) beat Taya Valkyrie for the belt. CRUSH California Dream - Ruby Soho (72 days) beat Daria Berenato for the belt. This is her 2nd reign. CRUSH World Tag Team - VXT (Deonna Purazzo & Chelsea Green) (16 days) beat Rina Yamashita & Mei Suruga for the belts. This is their 2nd reign. REINA World - Jazmin Benitez (aka Mercedes Martinez) (31 days) beit Mei Suruga for the belt. The REINA World was bought on a whim as I was going to try and run one of my shows as a Mexico/Japan only show but can't get a TV deal in Japan so scrapped the idea. I kept the belt though as I'd paid for it!
  7. That's why I started playing because I remember seeing that movie in the cinema as a kid. I wouldn't say it scratched a nostalgia itch for me (it may do for you), but it certainly is like nothing else I've played really in terms of the setting. It's difficult enough on Mild early game on your own, but you can raise the difficulty if you are finding it too easy (I tend to stick to Medium). It's difficult with friends, but on your own it can be damn near impossible on Whoa difficulty. Especially if you wander off into the harder parts of the garden without having the right equipment. I have had it since the first game preview release on Xbox and the work they have done to this is great (but then would you expect any less from Obsidian). Improvement after improvement, addition after addition. They listened to the community and it shows. They still do, as they nerfed a few weapons/mutations in the latest patch that were way overpowered and kind of ruined playing.
  8. I've just started a new multi-player game on Grounded now that the full release is here (I'm a big kid - who cares 😁). It's enjoyable, but anyone who thinks it is a casual game is wrong. Still not built any bases - but I like games where a big part is exploration. I'm also attempting to get through my 400+ digital back catalogue of games I've bought that have sat there since buying them. Some I bought 4 or 5 years ago in sales and not touched yet.
  9. - Loved that Renee appeared (as were the crowd), hopefully this isn't just a one and done because it was Toronto.- Luchasaurus vs Jungle Boy I didn't think was bad, but nothing special. A good opening match to the show.- Get more Ethan Page on Dynamite. The guy is so underrated... and I'll fight you if you say otherwise 😁- WarJoe (stupid name) vs. Nightmare Factory was too long. I'm not a fan of random tagging - especially of singles champions. It's lazy booking and tag teams should be actual teams. Good to see Spears back! Hopefully they actually give him a decent push.- Swerve Strickland vs Billy Gunn was pretty good. Like the opening match it did what it needed to do. I didn't really like the Nese/Sterling bit (and I like Mark Sterling, he is a brilliant manager). It made zero sense to me. Lets for a minute suspend belief that AEW don't own the trademark, it makes The Acclaimed look like morons they'd release a T-Shirt without first trademarking the phrase themselves. Again, this is nonsense booking despite there being great talent involved.- MJF promo was what you'd expect. Little character depth added. I wonder if they're trying to make him this generations anti-hero. He's an egotistical, self entitled mouthpiece who thinks everything he says is golden so he'd be a massive hit with most of Twitter!- I know everyone liked Hangmans promo and the intensity but it just didn't do it for me. Maybe I'm unfairly judging because I don't like him (character wise) but I just don't care what he has to say.- Daniel Bryan vs Chris Jericho was a very good match but the finish absolutely sucked. You could predict that outcome all night long. Daniel Garcia is not getting over. He's amazing in the ring but has no personality at all. He reminds me of that Lance Storm gimmick - only this isn't a gimmick, he really has no charisma whatsoever! Luckily he has time on his side - I believe he was put in the JAS to help work on that side of his game, which if he does, he will be successful.- Hayter & Baker vs Shida & Storm was good. Any time I get to see Shida is a blessing because she is one of my favourites on the entire roster. Plus Jamie Hayter is going to be a star.- Cassidy vs PAC was easily Match of the Night for me. Again, whether it's because I think PAC is one of the best out there at what he does, whether its my memories on Cassidy in CHIKARA or the fact Danhausen appears. Doesn't matter why, this was the most entertaining part of the show for me. It was overall, a good show. I enjoyed the majority of it and with the exception of the Hangman Page/Moxley segment, I didn't go off and do other things! Just realised, I missed the Nyla bit. Unsure what they are doing here, is Nyla now a Face? I like Nyla and think it's about time they let her be a little more like herself instead of a generic beast with no personality. She can be a really good cocky babyface so hopefully that is the route they go with her.
  10. I've PM'd you regarding this. Just in case you haven't seen it, please don't undo all the hours I have spent trying to tidy up the starting locations by re-adding them again. If they didn't work in an area in 1992 (or significantly before), please do not add them as available locations (unless you are doing it for your own personal game). I've explained it better in the PM. This is something I'm still trying to tidy up. Thank you for all your help with the mod so far though, don't think it isn't appreciated, I just don't want huge overhauls like this done to the game World.
  11. Small update on the territory mod. I'm having to limit my time at the computer at the moment but I have finished the roster for WWE. I believe the in ring roster stands at around 66 (Mens roster) and 22 (Womens roster). I think WCW will have a similar roster size, with AWA having just a slightly smaller roster. Those are the big 3 in the US. ROH/ECW/WCWA/CWA will be the next in line. I'm not going to give many updates - this one is just to say the mod has started!
  12. Dawn Marie was called Tammy Lynn Bytch whilst Lance Storm and herself feuded with Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch. I don't believe she was using the Tammy name in January 1999 (I could be getting my timelines mixed up) but I'm sure she had reverted to Dawn Marie Bytch by ECW House Party in January 1999. The Sandman was signed to a WCW deal in September 1998 so should have a contract with them. You're right with Raven being in WCW. He didn't rejoin ECW unitl August 1999. One piece of advice I was given when doing contract start dates, don't use their first appearance date from Cagematch because most are signed weeks, sometimes months before then. Obviously if there is no other info out there then you don't have a choice but with the likes of Sandman, the info is out there on Wiki's, interviews etc... for when his WCW deal started. Hopefully this will help - looking forward to playing the mod when you're done.
  13. There is a Notepad change log in the database download. It has every change from the beta right through to the current version.
  14. Yes it def. does but its worth the effort. The main issue is duplication if there are slight spelling differences. I tend to roll back Diablo X to fit in.
  15. Good to see this out for 2020. I used to merge it with my Diablo X mod for personal games so will be doing it again! Thanks for all your hard work.
  16. A bit of a treat for all you people who prefer the gif style to your image packs. Mildly_Amusing has been working on a gif compatible version of the 1992 data, along with images which you can now download below (I'll also update the first post with the links as well). GIF - Database compatible with the gif format GIF - People Pack Download GIF - Logos (You will still need to download the original logos pack first or you won't have the dojo/schools logos etc) All credit for this goes to Mildly_Amusing so send your thanks to them!
  17. This weekend I will be starting on the RWC Territories mod. Although I am using the July RWC, RWC+ & ScandiGraps combined, I have decided not all title lineages are going to follow real life. As such, I will be doing the title histories myself from scratch. Yes, this will add several hours to the workload (I will also be doing them in "Wk 1, July 2022" format so the reigns are all uniformed). So far I have planned the entire WWE roster out, along with small parts of the other companies rosters. We will see the likes of Darby Allin and Brodie King in the new ECW, Cody Rhodes & AJ Styles in WCW, Samoa Joe & Claudio Castagnoli in ROH, Nick Aldis & MJF in AWA, FTR & Matt Hardy in WCWA just to name a few. Kenny Omega and Lance Archer will both be in NJPW (alongside Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson). The Biggest companies in the US right now will be WWE, WCW & AWA. NJPW & AJPW will be dominating the Japanese scene with NOAH next in line behind them. CMLL will be the undisputed #1 in Mexico with AAA and IWRG rounding out the top 3. I have yet to decide which UK companies I will include but ASW is likely to be the big touring company under the WoS alliance. What this means for other mods is this, they're done - for now. I could work on the 1992 mod until the end of days but what is the point if it means no one gets to attempt a long term save with it (it's had 10+ updates). The 92 mod will be updated (possibly) once I have finished the new mod.
  18. Also did this one (dunno how to multi quote on this new forum yet)
  19. There's another slight update to the 1992 data with the fixes proposed by mrwhippy. Not a game stopping update if you're getting through your own long term game, but if you've not started a game yet, its worth downloading.
  20. It is in modern day (well, July 2022). There is a line at the bottom of the post that says "More to Come". Next will be Differences between 1994 and 2004.
  21. I lost interest in writing a 30+ year backstory for the Territory mod so just wrote the differences that kept the companies in business. Note: All deaths that happened in real life, happened in this data. WWF (1983 - 1993 Main Differences) 1990 Hulk Hogan would leave the business (following his WM VI loss to Ultimate Warrior) until he returned with WCW in 1994. 1990 Tito Santana wins IC Title (23.04.1990 - 27.08.1990) 1990 Tito Santana wins IC Title (19.11.1990 - 26.08.1991) (These were both Mr. Perfect reigns in real life). 1990 The Big Boss Man wins IC Title (27.08.1990 - 19.11.1990) (This was Texas Tornados reign but he did not leave the WCWA and remained with his fathers company until 1993 when he shot himself). 1992 Curt Hennig joins WWF as Mr. Perfect AWA (1983 - 1993 Main Differences) 1986 AWA re-join the NWA 1988 saw Curt Hennig elevated to the top of the company. 1988 Rick Martel re-signs with the company following a falling out with WWF management 1989 saw Larry Zbyszko sign and become the companies top heel 1989 AWA become international partners with AJPW, agreeing to take workers on excursion. 1990 Jeff Jarrett agrees to work shows for the AWA (as well as continuing in his fathers CWA promotion). 1991 The company did not go bankrupt thanks to the success of Hennig vs. Zbyszko and the AJPW partnership. 1992 Scott Hall leaves the company 1992 Curt Hennig leaves the company following breakdown in contract talks 1993 (end of the year) Marty Jannetty returns to the company WCWA (1983 - 1993 Main Differences) Kerry Von Erich remained the companies top star until he shot himself in 1993 Nothing different between the 2 dates except the above CWA (1983 - 1993 Main Differences) 1989 The company remained in business following the inter-promotional feud between their top star, Jerry Lawler and the AWA's Rick Martel. 1991 Bill Dundee, Eric Embry & Tom Prichard formed the Kings Of Wrestling - Jerry Lawler feuded with the group before losing a "loser leaves" match against Dundee. Lawler would sign for the WWF in 1992 (as he did in real life). 1993 Jerry Lawlers WWF contract allowed him to work dates for CWA, providing they didn't clash with his WWF dates. With both CWA and WCWA staying in business, there was no USWA in this timeline. Other companies histories in the US unfolded pretty much as they did in real life with the odd exception such as a few different title reigns I will highlight in the mod, maybe a few different changes to their rosters over the years (nWo did exist, DX did exist). The biggest changes will be noticeable in the mod because these companies will have their own rosters that don't look like the rosters we know today. There are also some "casualty" companies, such as TNA/Impact did not exist in this timeline, nor does AEW or NXT. WWF also does not have a brand split and has not had need for multiple different titles. They have the WWF Heavyweight, WWF Intercontinental, WWF World Tag Team and WWF Women's belts. The NWA companies can only run shows in their home region. USA WWF - Never had to change their name WCW - Bought by WWF in 2001 but remained their own company ECW - Bought by WWF in 2000 and would stay active as a feeder league. CWA - Part of the NWA (did not merge with WCWA) AWA - Part of the NWA (did not go bankrupt) WCWA - Part of the NWA (did not merge with CWA) ROH - Part of the NWA (did not get bought out) PWG - Part of the NWA SHIMMER - Part of the NWA SHINE - Part of the NWA (Sister company to SHIMMER) PWF - Part of the NWA (did not go our of business) FIP - Part of the NWA More companies to be decided Canada A1 Wrestling - Part of the NWA BCW - Part of the NWA MLW - Part of the NWA (did not go out of business) NCW - Part of the NWA More companies to be decided More to come. (If you want to know something specific, let me know and I'll answer it).
  22. I've not released the backstory yet (still writing it up) so you've not missed it. Once I'm done I will put it up.
  23. First weekend of October I will be starting work on the Chronicles: The Territories modern day fantasy mod. I'm looking for a mid/end January release (the data will likely start July 22). Of course these plans could change based on unexpected real life factors but (staying healthy) this is what I'm hoping for.
  24. There's been a very slight update as one of the training facilities was in the wrong location and also, Mission Pro was using the wrong logo. Nothing that would really ruin a long term gameplay but just for those who like to start with things as they should be. Download the below logo (and the new data in post #1) Save it as MPW_TX.jpg
