Firstly, I enjoy AEW for the most part but they really need to sort the way their referees are used because it is at a stage where I'm about to turn off as none of the matches mean anything with referees who show zero authority or are as lax with the rules as their entire referee roster is. I understand they are just doing what the writers say they need to do but I think I rolled my eyes more during the first 2 matches on Dynamite last night than I ever have. The whole "stop the faces so the heels can double team" trope is good when done properly but you can't watch a match now without the referees looking like complete idiots. Paul Turner during the main event told Kenny to get back in the ring 8 or 9 times before actually starting the 10 count. To me, the referee is an important part of match flow and psychology, but when they are all made to look as inept as Turner, Bryce and Aubrey were last night, I start to lose interest. That 1st Triple Threat match was a complete joke, ruined by Bryce constantly stopping the faces entering to save their partner despite the heels double teaming right in front of him! In that situation Bryce is either a corrupt heel official or a complete inept moron. Aubrey was just as bad in the tag team match and Turner may as well have been a potato for all the authority he exerted in the main event match. Every single AEW match with multiple people has this going on and shows no one in that company seems to know how to book multi-man matches without the referee looking like a slapstick buffoon. It's lazy match booking. If none of your match rules are enforced during normal 1 fall rules then Non-DQ matches etc mean nothing.

I would say the landscape currently should look NJPW > STARDOM > NOAH > TJPW > AJPW > DG > DDT > BJW > ZERO1 > GLEAT (With there not being much/any difference between TJPW/AJPW/DG and quite a gap between the top 3 and the rest ). I'd probably argue that STARDOM should be below NOAH due to STARDOM not even reaching crowds of 2000 recently and NOAH not long having both an 8000+ and 30000+ attendance but it's not a hill I'm going to die on. Again, these are only how I'd rank them - you can ignore it if you wish. 🙂

Tomorrow afternoon I will release Diablo X (UK time). Below are the main changes/additions.

Excellent results. Do you use Remini Web/App or another program to fix them? I'm trying to find a good one and I used Remini for a little while but found their prices a bit steep. Hitpaw photo enhancer is ok but doesn't crisp the images to the same standard (but its free so what did I expect!)

This is the Phil Belanger pic I have in my pack for the 92 mod. It is the only picture I have ever found of him. This is as close to 1986 I can find for Richard Charland (I believe this was taken between 85-87). (one of Richard Charlands alter ego if you want it) Richard "Le Magnifique" Not entirely sure but this looks to be Charland from the 80's as well.

This is just a quick post to say that Diablo X will be out sometime this weekend. It will be the last update for a while for this mod as it is quite a decent sized update. I'm currently setting the Tekken characters ages to what they would have been in Tekken 3 as it seems that is the middle ground between the games. YBDynamo, with regards to Mojo, I will add him before the update drops. May add him to the MWU announce team.

If you're talking about the 92 mod Dragongate are already in it (Toryumon). There is a narrative in 2004 that changes Toryumon to Dragon Gate.

I have no idea why Ted Turner is in charge because I thought I'd set Kip Frey as the CEO on version 1. There is no note that this was changed so I don't know what has happened. Maybe a discussion was had that I don't remember to change it to Ted Turner. It should be changed back to Kip Frey. With regards to Dusty, a couple of people asked for the change to Watts (can't remember why but there was probably a good reason). It can be changed back to Dusty. Thanks for your feedback.

A quick update re: Diablo X. I am hoping to have it released around 24th March. I was going to release it this coming Friday but Ive got a couple things to fix and work is going to be busy this week so likely not going to get to fix it until Saturday or Sunday.

Thank you. I will get those moves added to the game. I've been looking for decent pics of the mutated rangers but apart from Red T-Rex I cant find any. I did find Ranger X who is... well let's not spoil it for anyone still to read MMPR v. TMNT II. Ive also added alter egos Lord Drakkon and Ranger Slayer.

I have that Shredder crossover figure... yes I'm a huge TMNT geek. 😆 I'm debating putting the Power Rangers into MAE under their mutant forms now you've mentioned it.

Wasn't sure what a Montana aesthetic was (being from the UK) so just looked at some other Montana-esque logos and saw they all seemed to have a mountain theme. Hopefully this is ok.

I've added another company, Fighting EX Layer who are going to be the developmental for Street Fighter Extreme. Currently I've added 17 workers to the roster and also 7 on loan workers from other Capcom games to flesh out their roster a little bit. I think I will spend a bit of time on Venues after I have finished the FEXL company. As I've said, there is a lot more I want to get added before the middle of March.
