One of the people I forgot to list. There may be more as I think I added a couple to NCW but can't remember who <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  2. I finally got around to updating the 2nd post with what has been fixed/added/updated in RWC for April. I'm still sure I've forgotten to add some things to the list but for now, if it isn't on there, then mention it just in case!
  3. <p>Reina Chaos had some work done on it yesterday. Someone mentioned it on Twitter and it made me want to get through some of it... well, from a worker standpoint I have 300 or so left to add/edit and do pictures for which will take the total to 1050. Not bad going considering yesterday when I started I had around 800 to edit. I am just using my RWC picture pack for it as I can't be bothered cutting 1000+ pictures to a new background. </p><p> </p><p> I still have a long way to go until it is fully playable but it's made progress for the first time in months! The start date will remain January 2017 for the mod.</p><p> </p><p> With regards to RWC, I have completed Sendai & OZ Academy now and removed REINA (although everything for them is still in the mod in case someone wants to reactivate them). I was going to close FMW down, but I have played one of my favourite saves as them before so probably want to keep them in for that reason. </p><p> </p><p> I've heard nothing more about IWA:MS shutting down, but when they officially announce they are done, I will close them down in the mod. I will keep all the belts etc in so the histories are there still. </p><p> </p><p> My next job is to add a few of the Australian workers that have been pointed out to me should be included. Not sure how many of these I will get done, depends if ages and debuts are easy to find. Plus I actually have to watch some of their matches which means no more additions are possible after these.</p><p> </p><p> Tidying up a few of the other promotions may have to wait until next release but I'll try to ensure at least their title holders are up to date..</p>

  7. I'm going to try and remember what I've done and will be updating post #2 every now and then as I remember. Sorry, I have no idea why I didn't keep a list as I was going like I usually do. I've also almost done everything mentioned in the thread so far (except add Bhupinder Singh as I cannot find a pic of him yet... unless his real name is Varinder Singh Ghuman who is the only Indian bodybuilder I can find who it says transitioned to wrestling but looks nothing like the shattered glass Impact picture). Most sites give you a decent picture of the worker, but Impact being the annoying and pain in the arse company they are have to be difficult! Someone needs to put that Owl out of it's misery and shoot it!
  8. <p>I started a game set in 1992 using an edited version of Rising Storms. It began as a watcher game until I noticed in 1996 that I could capitalise on an absolutely devastated US wrestling scene. ECW had gone out of business, as too had a lot of the Indie companies like ECWA.</p><p> </p><p> In 1996, NWA: Revolution Wrestling Alliance was born (I joined the NWA as they were lacking in companies and the belts were being defended mainly in England and Mexico). I began by just picking up the guys that I knew had an impact in ECW, along with a few guys let go by WCW and WWF and built the company from there. The year is currently 2001... WCW is unrecognisable in terms of their roster bar maybe DDP & Sting.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Current Titles</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><strong>RWA World Title History</strong><p> Wk 1 June 1996 <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Doomsday</span> - It also saw The Road Warriors defeat American Violence (Art Barr & Louie Spicolli) in the Semi-Main Event. It also marked the debut of "The Widowmaker" Sean O'Haire who attacked Chris Candido after his match. O'Haire had been the stand out in my developmental company and the time seemed right to bring him up, now that one of my up and coming heels, TJ Thunder (aka Test) is in rehab for the next 3 months. The loss of Scott Steiner to WCW also hurt as he was the companies #1 heel following Shane Douglas' Face turn in mid 2000 when he helped long time friend Chris Candido who had been assaulted by The Flock. I let the Warriors contract end as he wasn't really worth the money I was paying him. He ended up rejoining WWF who had started building a younger roster - but I guess they needed that veteran to come in and take pay days away from the guys who had worked hard to make a name for themselves.</p><p> </p><p> I have managed to get a PPV deal in 1998 and a TV deal around the same time to air RWA Slam Jam.</p><p> </p><p> Several guys who became huge stars in real life failed to copy that in game. The biggest being, Nash and Hall both never escaped the mid-card scene in either of the top 2 promotions. Nash had 2 United States title runs and a Television title run along with 3 Tag Team title runs (with Scott Hall funnily enough). Nash held no titles whatsoever in WWF and was mainly jobbed out to the bigger stars. Hall did have a little bit of success in the WWF, with 2 IC title reigns during 1994 and 1995. In WCW he held the Tag titles 3 times with Nash and had a year long reign with the Television title but nothing to write home about.</p><p> </p><p> Both Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker had 2 years with WCW before jumping back to WWF. Michaels, in that time, held the WCW World Heavyweight title on 2 occasions and the United States title on one. The Undertaker ended up going by "Mean" Mark Callous and only managed a tag team title run alongside Bret Hart (who also jumped ship to WCW). Upon his return to WWF, he won his 3rd WWF Heavyweight championship so clearly WCW didn't know how to book him!</p><p> </p><p> Big Bossman, Rick Rude, British Bulldog and both members of Legion of Doom had WWF Heavyweight title runs, but the most surprising winner of the title was Goldust who held the belt for 7 months between 1995 and 1996.</p><p> </p><p> The Intercontinental title has also seen some "WTF" champions over the 9 years I've played through. Brian Christopher held it in one of the more surprising reigns. Tatanka has held the belt on 4 occasions, Jerry Sags has a reign with it, Papa Shango, Blake Beverly... and even Avatar (yes Al Snow in his Ninja Halloween outfit!) Clearly the drug problem had hit the writers in game at that point. </p><p> </p><p> It's also strange seeing people who died in real life wrestling in 2001. Owen Hart is currently enjoying a run in the Upper Midcard of the WWF, obviously I have Art Barr and Louie Spicolli on my roster doing pretty well as a tag team. </p><p> </p><p> This world in this game is certainly not like the wrestling world we knew it was in 2001! This is actually the 2nd longest game I've had running with TEW too.</p>
  9. I have been contemplating this for a while now but I am really struggling when it comes to keeping RWC updated for personal reasons beyond my control (and it would seem beyond the control of medical professionals as well:mad:). I'm not going to go into too much depth as it is private, but I just can't keep up with the absolute boring chore that updating RWC has become. To be honest, part of this has to do with the constant need to update Impact Wrestling like they are a new promotion every month, which is becoming tiresome. I hate Impact so the thought of constantly having to reshuffle their roster all the time is unappealing. I had a little bit of fun this time around with updating my (rough) Joshi scene thanks to a lot (and I do mean a lot) of help from southside_hitmen and Dr_Avalanche but right now, the fun part like updating that is being outweighed by updating the tedious things that need worked on. I've also come to the conclusion that I'm just not that into modern day wrestling anymore and would probably rather work on other mods than this. I already do a paid job I hate and don't want to waste what little time I have free on something I have no interest in doing anymore. Now, as I said it is probably my "personal reasons" that are making me feel like this at the moment so I don't want to say I'll never work on it again at this stage as down the line I may do, but honestly, adding people I truly couldn't care about has (at present) made me opt to release the data at the end of March and then make a firm decision as to whether there will be another update, or whether I am done with modern real world updates. This is not a "talk me into continuing" post, this is a "heads up this could be the last RWC release" as I'm aware there are people who enjoy playing the mod and who may be disappointed to see it go. It also doesn't mean I'm done with modding altogether, it means if I do decide "Enough is Enough" I'm free to do other data sets that have had to be cancelled due to lack of time.

  11. <p>I've not kept a record of what I've added, removed, fixed etc... however RWC is coming along with the addition of Sendai Girl's and a general overhaul to some of the women in general in the mod. CHIKARA has had a tiny bit of work done to some of the pictures (like The Whisper being unmasked now after Ophidian won his "skin" back or Race Jackson who is now known as Blank). I've added a new Green Ant who seems to have popped up from the Wrestle Factory. Added a couple of workers to the database (I think maybe 15 new people:confused:)</p><p> </p><p> I've done some of the fixes mentioned in the thread but not all of them.</p><p> </p><p> Er... yeah, I've been a bit rubbish with my list to be honest.</p>

  14. <p>I should get some time after work tomorrow and maybe Friday so I will try to do what I can in terms of what has already been reported in this thread.</p><p> </p><p> I am being helped with a huge Joshi scene overhaul too. southside_hitmen and Dr_Avalanche have sent me an invaluable spreadsheet to help me improve what is already there and potentially add some new stuff. This means at present, unless they are absolutely vital (champion) I won't be adding any one else to the data until I have finished that.</p><p> </p><p> When it comes to stat debates, I'm always willing to look into them but what people need to take into account with their requests is the following; I know how good Gargano is, believe me. I also know how good Almas is having watched him for many years in CMLL but the problem with making them too good in game is they will want called up within the first few days. The balance has to be there between real life and the game mechanics, TEW was not really built to mirror the real world wrestling scene - it has it's own Universe - and some things have to be tweaked to fit game mechanics, otherwise you end up with an absolute mess where after 1 month the entire landscape has changed so much, you may as well be playing a fictional mod. I've changed hundreds of stats based on people's feedback, and will continue looking into things as they crop up. What I don't want happening though are people arguing back and forth and trawling through loads of "Yes he should, no he shouldn't" posts. Make your point, I'll look at all responses and decide what I think will work in game best. If someone disagrees with what you have put, just leave it because we're never going to all agree with each other when it comes down to them. At the end of the day, it's me you've got to convince. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  17. Bada-Boom! Rapiest guy in the room. How you doin'? I shall probably get started on some of the updates next weekend for RWC. Just really haven't been in the right mood to do anything with it last couple of weeks. I've been more interested in trying to get Diablo X updated but figured I don't want to have to do 3 months of updates at the last minute in March so better get cracking. Seeing as I mentioned Diablo X... I can promise it will be a lot better than the previous versions because not all characters in the world are going to be active from the start so hopefully for those who want long term but aren't too keen on random generated workers I can get a few hundred workers added for the first "test" release and then build from there. It's your decision but I'd stay out of the editor on this data otherwise a few surprises will be ruined... unless you don't like surprises...

It's why I can't give any of the other guys who have been accused of Sexual Harassment any type of scandal because there is no option to do so for those offences.</p>

Just completely slipped my mind.</p>
  20. If/when it is released I would love to use it in the mod if that is ok with you (full credit given). Does it cover all areas in the game? I was going to start one myself but then realised how much work a location file is and decided against it.
  21. <p>From my 1992 game (in 1996)... So do we think Rocky was to blame?!</p><p> <img alt="Ow4pQhZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ow4pQhZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I just took over ECW after 4 years at my own promotion and noticed this when looking through the company.</p>

I think maybe I should set him as occasional though because he only had around 9 or 10 matches last year.</p>

One of the changes happens during a narrative in 2035 (providing the company involved is not human controlled), so it would be wise not to go into the editor and read them!</p><p> </p><p> I have also shifted some workers to become future workers, such as Master Chief who now doesn't debut until further along in the game (actually, most of the Halo characters don't debut until around 16 years into the data). I've done this as a way for people to want to continue playing long term, by having certain characters not available at the start. This is the same for the Mass Effect Andromeda characters that I've included. </p><p> </p><p> Characters such as Cable, and Daken also appear as future characters. I don't want to give away everything that the future will hold (and I still have a lot of work to do) but I think players who enjoy long term games may be pleasantly surprised once this is done.</p><p> </p><p> At present there are 55 future workers, I'm looking to have that in the hundreds before release.</p><p> </p><p> There are also a couple of new promotions, and Capcom Femme Fatales has now been replace with Iwashigahama Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> There isn't much change to the top promotions as I like the way they play, but I am looking to improve a few of the smaller one's.</p>
