I did see Slammiversary and while I agree, it was a lot better than anything I saw towards the tail end of the Dixie regime (by about 1000x), it was still an Indie show from a company still finding it's way back. They will get a slight momentum/popularity bump because they are finally going in the right direction. I will give Moose a boost because he did surprise me. He is better than I originally had him in as. A lot of the other guys work elsewhere and really don't need much of a boost at this stage. </p><p> </p><p> Pretty sure I already had a discussion about boosting Elias with someone and agreed to do it - just not to the stats that had been suggested (which were a little inflated). Elias is one of those that seems to be growing on me those rare times I bother with Raw. I think his Popularity is set at 59 in the US, Mic & Charisma are 71, because I feel that is more than sufficient. Cannot for the life of me remember if I changed any of his other stats TBH.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> By the way... am I the only one who is irritated by Eddie Edwards "acting"? I do not for one minute believe his crazy schtick because it seems forced and like he has no idea how to play the character. He shouts a lot and makes stupid grunting noises and heavy breathing, kind of like a B-Movie male Cheerleader being chased by a mutated Cheese Wheel. <p>One thing I have realised whilst trying to plan Flashpoint 2K2 out is that I know very few referee's or announcers for some of the smaller promotions. My idea for this (rather than leave companies scrambling for the few referee's and staff I do know) is to just create some fictional referee's and Commentators to fill those gaps. This way every promotion will be good to go from the outset.</p><p> </p><p> Another thing is that although WWE changed their name later in 2002, I am starting them as WWE and not WWF. This is because when I do the name change etc in the narrator, all the belts, events and TV shows remain with the initials "WWF" at the front despite the name change happening in game. Because of this, I can't be arsed to mess about and so their name change in this universe has already happened.</p>

<p>Flashpoint 2K2 has now all been planned out. I have started to get the foundation built but I imagine we are looking towards the end of the year/early next year for a release as I am building this on my own from scratch and attempting to utilise as much of the knowledge and features I've learned over the last 5 years.</p><p> </p><p> If people want to help out however, then pictures would be great. This is the png border (ensure you save it in the png format so that you only have to put it over the top of your images). I have pictures for all wrestlers beginning with A and B so as many pictures of anyone else (from 2002 onwards) would be appreciated.</p><p> </p><p> I know it is a lot to ask but if you can let me know in this thread which pictures you want to do (AAA, CMLL, WWE, WCW, NJPW, NOAH, AJPW or whatever) zip/rar your pictures and send them to me via PM that would cut down on release time and will stop people duplicating. For the most part the main stars from 2002 are known by their WWE/WCW names if that helps in saving. Being pre-determined is no excuse for lazy, nonsensical booking. Now if Nakamura had also used the ropes as leverage, I might have been more inclined to suspend my belief in the quick win - of if it had been against someone who hadn't used an extreme style for most of his career.</p><p> </p><p> I must say for the most part I enjoyed Extreme Rules, then I watched my first Raw In I don't know how long and realised again why I never watch Raw! 3 hours of absolute garbage. It felt as though there was (maybe) 30% wrestling, 30% shenanigans and 40% advertising and recaps!</p>

Thanks for the feedback and info so far everyone. I'm (hopefully) up to date with the titles as of yesterday for RWC. I have done a little tidying up where I can of workers who never even really made an appearance in real life as they were just pointless. I've added most of the injuries I know (which isn't a lot I must admit) but as I have heard nothing about the severity or length of recovery about Hiromu Takahashi I am going to hold fire until I find something that tells me. I don't want to set him to "Broken Neck out for a year+" if it turns out to be less severe and he ends up out half that time or less. I want to have a look through Mexico if I get time. I've updated a few small bits but have been very out of touch with how things are going there recently. I feel Japan had enough work done last time so this time around will get the basic updates (well that and Seadlinnng has been added). Dragon Lee I am going to keep his relationships how they are for now because he and Takahashi have had many matches in Mexico when Takahashi was on excursion that were fine and from all accounts the 2 have a mutual respect for one another. Accidents happen in wrestling and I think that's all that happened there. He probably had some heat on him initially but I think that has died down after his comments following the match.

I will also more than likely have my own Generic worker picture pack out for this as I cannot be arsed cutting to a specific background due to the volume of new pictures I need to do.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">ANNOUNCEMENT</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Following my last release of RWC in August, I have a huge project that I will be starting in terms of my next mod. I know this is a bit of a Total Nonstop Action Impact of Global Force Wrestling thing to do, but I am not going to announce everything all at once (and to be honest I may be quiet for quite a while with updates on how it is going). </p><p> </p><p> For now I can confirm that it takes place earlier in the "Owen Hart Flashpoint" universe (2002 as I want to customise WCW after Savage took over). It may not be as extensive in terms of starting promotions (future companies will open as the game progresses) but it is a data set that becomes more fleshed out the longer you play to give people an incentive to try a long term game with it. </p><p> </p><p> This of course means every other mod I am currently working on is shelved again (sorry). Southside_Hitmen was given the reigns because I know they will do a fantastic job. That was evident from the help given for Japan, which was above and beyond (along with Dr_Avalanche). I know the mod is in good hands as after nearly 5 years, I didn't want to just bin it off.
