There will be no November update (Probably looking at January 2020 for next release).</p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/file/5vx95yp1tq5j0p6/Oct19_Data.rar/file" rel="external nofollow">October Data Download</a></p><p> <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/file/5r5zb422e4jmoab/RWC_People.rar/file" rel="external nofollow">RWC People Picture Pack</a></p><p> <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/file/s89hgjdwi87eh3s/RWC_Logos_and_Belts_etc.rar/file" rel="external nofollow">RWC Logos, Belts Etc Picture Pack</a></p><p> </p><p> As always, constructive and polite feedback is welcome. Tantrums are not. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> EDIT: Should have said, this only contains title changes up to 2nd October.</p>
  2. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="stratusfaction" data-cite="stratusfaction" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41205" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I apologize if this has already been discussed but do you think that you will include Women of Wrestling (WOW) into your next update?<p> </p><p> Your data already has the promotion and several workers that are in WOW but not all of them.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This month is mainly just updates and fixes. I may look at additions to freshen things up if/when I do another update. I'll put WOW on the potentials list (but it all depends on who I can remove for them).</p><p> </p><p> I'm also toying with 2 versions for next release (not this upcoming one, I don't have time). One where NXT is the development company, and one where it is the 3rd brand. The reason I don't want to put NXT as a 3rd brand in the main mod is because it is BLOATED with workers and the AI will just move everyone around until all 3 brands are similar in size in the 1st week or so. The 3rd brand version will be tailored to those who play as WWE or don't care if the 3 brands end up looking nothing like real life after a couple of weeks.</p>
  3. There is going to be a delay in getting October's release out. I've had some issues I've needed to deal with that are more important. I should have it released at the weekend.
  4. So that's the 50th record input for the 24/7 title already. This belt is going to end up at 100 entries by the end of the year at this rate! I might release an October version of the data with fixes and title updates (providing nothing big rears it's ugly head like it always seems to do close to a release). It will probably be out between 29th September - 1st October. Unfortunately after this release, I cannot give a date if/when the data will next see a release as I will be back to work full time in October so that leaves me no definitive free time.
  5. I've tried to change Dragon Gate to be less dangerous but that has meant changing their product so they may not play exactly as they would in real life. Hopefully the change deals with the injury issues but The Puro/Lucha hybrid is a tough one to get right. I've made the Lucha Aspect the Key Feature and both Pure and Realism set to High, with Modern being set to Medium (any higher and the Intensity needs to be raised). This has meant intensity is now 65% and Danger is now 40%, this is as good as I can get it without completely making the Dragon Gate promotion into a fantasy one. I've taken a look at some of the other promotions and whilst I've managed to change a few, again, without making some of them fictitious and playing nothing like they do in real life, I'm a bit stuck with what to do.
  6. I've never had that number of injuries where they are out for over a year in a Dragon Gate game, or any game only 2 months into the data for that matter. The most I've ever had with Dragon Gate is 4 at any one time and most of them have never gone above a few months out. If that is the case that half the roster are going out injured after 2 months then there is zero chance of another release because I'm not wasting my time working on a data set where that many injuries happen all at the same time and for those lengths of time. Can anyone else confirm they are having the same level of long term injuries please? They already are the title holders in the data.
  7. Thanks for the updates. I also think, maybe Xia Li needs a bit of a boost in stats. Absolutely loving her at the moment. I shall attempt to get some updates done tomorrow. I'm back at work now so not as much time to work on it as I had the last 3 months.
  8. Nope. After the upgrade and all the issues with shows dropping out (live and the old shows) I cancelled my subscription. Not paying money for a sub-par service.
  9. <p>Looking at WWC and their title histories are... well... it'll probably take me longer to do theirs than anyone elses! </p><p> </p><p> Not that I am anywhere near "W" yet but with the Red Dead update out today and also PES 2020 (I create my own league). I probably won't get anymore done on this for a few days. I'm back to work next week as well so even less time to mod. It is coming together though.</p><p> </p><p> Whilst doping title belts, I've realised I forgot to actually do the NWA UK Hammerlock roster and AJW roster. Starting to become a bit of a nightmare! I've so far managed about 11 of the Hammerlock guys as I can remember a few of them from around that period.</p>
  10. NWA as an alliance don't exist in my most recent mod as they will be running as a promotion. They may end up with working agreements but my understanding is, NWA will no longer be an Alliance of promotions.

Is there another extractor I should be using?</div></blockquote><p> Use Winrar. It was the one people were using when this first came out so I stuck with it. If people would prefer in future I use winzip then fine, I will use that in future.</p><p> </p><p> ================================================================</p><p> </p><p> Josh Bodom has been set to "On Hiatus" for RWC. Part of me want's to delete the POS from the data altogether but if I deleted everyone who was a complete Mark for themselves, I'd not have many people left.</p><p> </p><p> This stems from what happened at Summer Sizzler in which he legit assaulted the referee (shoot, not a work) and his comments (since deleted) that came afterwards. I've also changed Andy Quildan to more manipulative following this weeks response, and his message to Bodom. Basically, Quildan is a coward and only took action when fan footage showed the assault that Quildan claimed they didn't see when reviewing the original footage.</p>
  12. Flashpopint 2002: Beta I have finished adding workers for the time being and have moved on to title histories and locations. With regards to locations I am using my RWC file and updating it to the names the arena's were called in 2002. I am also adding arena's such as The Amway Arena which will close in 2010, allowing the Amway Center to open in it's place. Title lineages are what will take me the most time, currently I have completed Companies up to CMLL. Once these 2 things are done, I will release a beta for people to test and see if there could be some improvements in terms of stats, overness or maybe an idea or 2 that I can throw into the alternative real world (nothing too OTT as I've got the story in my head for the most part).
  13. Small update regarding Flashpoint 2K2. I have around 50 workers or so left to add for the beta. Once they are added I will add in title lineages for the few companies that have made it in at present (there will be more in the full release than the beta). The plan is that eventually you will be able to play from 2002 right the way through to modern day when the full release is out. For the beta, these are the promotions to expect; AJPW AJW (Base roster) APW ASW (Base Roster) AAA BJPW (Base Roster) BCW CZW CMLL ECWA FWA HWA IWA: MS JAPW NJPW NWA: UK Hammerlock NWA: Wildside OVW Osaka Pro (Base Roster) NOAH ZERO-ONE Toryumon Japan (which will be renamed Dragon Gate as you play through) UPW wXw WCW WWC (Base Roster) WWE XPW What I mean by base roster is that they will have only a few people signed and the roster will need to be built up by the player/AI at the start. Several reasons for this that I won't bore you with but suffice to say, some companies didn't have 20+ regulars signed to their companies in real life.

  16. <p>I will be releasing September's RWC tomorrow (Sunday UK time). I have added the last of the workers I can for now (66 new people from the previous update) so apart from the finishing touches after Saturdays events, this should be at a point I'm happy with.</p><p> </p><p> With regards to those who have been asking after Flashpoint 2k2, this is still scheduled for a TEW2016 release but it is taking me a lot longer in the research front, and also to ensure no bio's contain information beyond 2001 for people as I hate seeing a bio in 2002 referring to things the worker done in 2019, it makes no sense and ruins the immersion of the mod for me. Yet to debut workers will have Organic bios selected because they have done nothing in the world so writing a bio for them doesn't make sense.</p>

Thank you for the unexpected release, sir!<p> </p><p> I have played as Corgan taking over a promotion in the past, so this will be a step above that to rework the NWA and all its glory. Should be even more enjoyable.</p><p> </p><p> I'll use Diablo X and WOTI to tide myself over in the mean time <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Happy Birthday! Can it be a belated birthday present? I didn't realise AEW All Out was tomorrow night so Sunday is looking like the new release date so I can get any big changes from that event in.</p>
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Suplexcity" data-cite="Suplexcity" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46767" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This would make sense if it wasn't easier to remove events from the database than it is to add them within the schedule. The events could even be se to dormant at the start of the save so deleting the events wouldn't even have to be an option. Setting to active from dormant would be a lot easier than setting dates and lenghts. Although I'm not sure if the AI actually activates those at some point.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> While I can see it from your point (and as far as the AI, I don't think they reactivate dormant events), if a mod maker does it for NJPW, they will have to do it for AJPW, NOAH, Stardom, DDT, Dragon Gate etc... <span style="text-decoration:underline;">just in case</span> someone want's to play as them. It isn't through laziness, or to annoy, it is through trial and error when it comes to trying to get the AI to use the multi night tournament format (something I hope we can do properly in 2020). Obviously each mod maker to their own and I would never tell someone else how to set up their mods etc. but you then open up the whole Mexico Event issue where they have multiple events at specific arenas with different luchadors working the cards (CMLL between 2nd and 6th of August held 7 shows for example). On top of that you would then have the likes of CHIKARA who hold multi-night events such as King of Trios. It wouldn't be "quick" for the person making the mod to do all of that on the basis "someone might play as them" when they have a thousand other more important updates or additions to complete which is why you won't see these in a lot of mods.</p><p> </p><p> Hopefully you don't take this as me being argumentative (it's not even my thread so I don't want it to come across that way), it's hard to interpret tone in typing unfortunately, but these are merely me explaining the thought processes that had been discussed and mulled over at the time of deciding whether to input every multi-day event for every company that holds them.</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, as this is landxx mod and not mine, I shall leave my input there as obviously it isn't my decision. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  19. <p>51 new workers added so far from the 130 or so on my list. I honestly don't think I will get many more added (I certainly will add at least 6 more from the list to take the grand total to 3000). </p><p> </p><p> 2 New Promotions added, NWA (which I think I already said) and Nacion Lucha Libre in Mexico as another option for Mexico (which now takes it to AAA, CMLL, Crash, DTU, IWRG, NLL in Mexico).</p><p> </p><p> Mexico is the area I've spent most of my time the last few weeks trying to update but there is so much left to do as it had only had minimum updates the last year or 2. </p><p> </p><p> I don't know if they were deleted by accident or if we had agreed to take them out, but FIP are not in the data this time around (I can't actually remember if they were taken out previously).</p>
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Adam Ryland" data-cite="Adam Ryland" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46105" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>It would be done automatically by the converter. All the information necessary is already in TEW2016.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for the response. That actually changes my mind from maybe not purchasing it to it being back on my list of things to buy. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  21. <p>What I would like to know is how long it is going to take to reassign 3000+ gimmicks in the editor for mod makers?</p><p> </p><p> Are we talking TEW 2013 to 2016 level headaches in converting? It sounds like it is going to be a hell of a lot worse to convert and take even longer before you see any real world mods. </p><p> </p><p> From a game playing point of view this does seem like a good feature, I'm just wondering how tedious and time consuming it will be when editing because right now it has me thinking of killing off my mods completely for 2020.</p>
  22. Here is the problem you tend to run into. If the AI is controlling them, they will not run all those multiple night tournaments (they will put a winner on the first event of that month) and it will have been time you could have spent on other things. You cannot cater every promotion exactly the way they run in real life, because the AI does not treat the world as a real world. It's the same reason you wont see a 205 brand for WWE in most mods, because the AI will book it as a normal brand and you'll have women and heavyweights fighting on the card. The player has to assume some responsibility for setting their promotions up themselves otherwise it is an absolute mess. It's a shame you find adding this tedious, but imagine how tedious modmakers find most things in modding a huge data set to be and you'll realise (or maybe you wont) that your having to add a few extra events in, isn't actually that bad.
  23. Through sheer boredom, I decided to make some event logo's for my GCG game I'm playing. They are simple, but I think they look ok so figured I'd share them in case anyone else wants them.
  24. Alternatively, go to https://s357.photobucket.com/user/Sonfaro/library?page=1 and you can see the logo's without the watermark.
  25. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="NYCityBoy417" data-cite="NYCityBoy417" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41205" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I know your not adding any new workers but this was pretty big news in case you haven't heard. Paco Alonso, owner of CMLL has passed away. The new owner is Sophia Alonso. Couldn't find much about her. Only that she was born in 1990.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Indeed I have. As I highly doubt she will appear on screen I've only done a rough Sofia Alonso. I know she has worked as the marketing manager for CMLL since 2016 so I've set that as her debut date.</p>
