Moxley features on a TV show that gets less than 1 million viewers a week whereas Hulk Hogan is one of the most recognised celebrities in the world- Big Show apart from Cena/Undertaker is probably the most well-known wrestlers of the past 10 years? Likewise we have a lot of wrestlers who haven't been seen on TV for years such as Rob Terry who has a lot more popularity than wrestlers who feature on regular TV. Wrestlers like Chris Masters, Carlito, Alicia Fox have very low popularity compared to wrestlers who's never been involved in the WWE ect..</p><p> </p><p> Whilst Hogan is mentioned - I always see his stats get buried on these real world datas - I use Hogans onscreen stats as a measuring stick for the DATA. I see Hogans acting is at 61 - a guy who has been been on several TV shows, the lead star of many movies, the lead star of his own reality show and constantly on panel shows/being interviewed on TV - compare that to Moxley (who always seems to be popular with mod makers) who gets 79 acting and 86 microphone despite being very uncomfortable on the mic.</p><p> </p><p> TV ratings very high as well but I think this seems to be an issue with all mods when it comes to TEW16 - hopefully the overhaul for TEW20 proves to be a success.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> All in all, a very good data! There's no point adding obscure broadcasters at every level or broadcasters that are not going to ever (nor have ever) shown wrestling because then every company would have a TV show.</p><p> </p><p> I took a look at broadcasters (seeing as I was the one who put them in originally) and the first 5 I checked in UK; 5Spike (Commercial), 5 Star (Commercial), BT Sport (Commercial), BT Sport Box Office (PPV), Challenge (Commercial) are all correct, I checked the rest, again all correct. Maybe ITV might be wrong - but that is the only one I can find that could possibly be incorrectly styled. If you could possibly elaborate on who you believe is wrong, Questlove might be able to look at specifics.</p><p> </p><p> The popularity is not easy with wrestlers but I don't think there are too many people with outrageous popularity (unless the last update was changed so much that it is unrecognisable). Jon Moxley was a Upper Card/Main Eventer in WWE. If he rejoined WWE, he would be around that again. He hasn't lost that much overness that he would come into WWE at the bottom. Overness follows a method (again unless the overhaul was so big last update), but unfortunately keeping 3000+ workers up to date every month is near impossible so some people may get overlooked. Giving mod makers specifics is much better for the mod because then they know where to focus. (same reason bio's are out of date for many - imagine updating 3000 bios that no one really reads every couple of months <img alt=":eek:" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />). Getting a balance between Game mechanics and what the real world is like is near impossible because TEW was not created to entirely simulate the real world. This is something a lot of people don't understand (including myself before I started modding).</p><p> </p><p> Hogan's acting being 61 is VERY generous as if you have ever seen a Hulk Hogan film, you know he is subpar at best in his performances (Thunder in Paradise, Santa with Muscles, Suburban Commando, Mr. Nanny... I think you get the jist <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />). 61 is above average, much better than Hogans acting ability deserves.</p><p> </p><p> The TV ratings in TEW are not the same as the Nielsen Ratings in real life. 1.0 at the maximum level allowed is 750,000. Nielsen Ratings are closer to 1,000,000 per 1.0. Yeah at this stage, WCW is picking up again after Savage's takeover in 2001. A lot of fans switched off following the "Russo years" and as such they lost a lot of their appeal. I think they are high end Cult though so hopefully not too much work is needed to push them into past glories. With that said, I've added a few more workers to the data (Mero, Sable & Shamrock to name a few) and have just finished the addition of FMW. Quite happy with how they play as this was the "death" year for them in real life following their switch from Garbage promotion to Entertainment promotion. Lets try to keep Arai alive in this timeline. I've also fixed some errors that I noticed with the data too (small one's but once noticed I can't ignore). This will now become my first release on TEW 2020 as I'm really enjoying working on it. Then I will have a Flashpoint 2k20 update hopefully (this will start March 2020 regardless of when I release it as the foundation is in place). Oops... fixed now.

I'm pretty sure you have to hire them as the owner/head booker. I'm not sure you can give it to someone already in your promotion. I may be wrong but I think if you sign them to a written/PPA/Development first, you cannot then transition them into owners. Like I said, I could be wrong but I've never been able to offer ownership or the book to someone already in my company.

<p>I had toyed with the idea of doing one but at the moment I have Flashpoint 2K2, Diablo X and A potential 2020 update for Flashpoint as well to do.</p><p> </p><p> I had been bouncing the idea of a comic book mod and a separate Beat 'em Up mod but lost interest in both projects after a couple of weeks.</p>

Thank you. I don't know why I put TNN as a PPV but will get that changed. Small update, I'm just adding FMW into the data now. I know they went out of business in Feb 2002 so I've only given them a small budget and will be a relatively small roster but (for me) I wanted to challenge myself if I play and see if I can save them at the 11th hour - pay the Yakuza back and not have Arai kill himself for the life insurance! I've added a few more people to it as well in the free agent pool so it is coming together. Now onto what I want from the Community (you didn't think this was free did you?) I want you to give me 1 or 2 promotions from any country (in the game) that had not yet opened in 2002. I'm not talking a backyard fed or anything, a company that lasted more than a hiccup in time. The likes of ROH, CHIKARA are already set to open in the future but if there is a notable(ish) promotion that you want to see start up later down the line, now is your chance to request it. The aim for this mod is to be able to play form 2002 right up until modern times.

Excellent. Glad you're enjoying it. Mero and Sable were just omissions of time, the full version will have them in (debating on having Mero wrestle in Japan or as Johnny B. Badd again in WCW). Angelina is a mistake. I shall get that changed. Thank you for the feedback.

I will be playing as one of the C-verse promotions (hopefully Golden Canvas Grappling as they are my favourite) to start with and get used to how the new game plays. I'll then convert some mods over, update them for the new gameplay and release them. About covers it.

Has anyone found any issues with Flashpoint? At this stage I'm guessing it is either so bad the problems aren't worth mentioning, or (less likely) it's flawless! Like everyone else, I'm in "lockdown" at home but due to having the ability to work from home, I still don't get any time to myself most of the week (the extra 2 hours a day where I don't travel to and from work is a bonus though). I'll probably use those 2 hours a day to get some work done on Flashpoint 2k2 but any feedback or mistakes I've made would be a big help to me - if not - I'm going to continue working on it for me anyway so will still release a full version on TEW 2020 (as well as maybe a fuller version on TEW 2016 for those not able to get 2020 upon release).

Flashpoint 2002: BETA What is it? It's the mod I said I'd never do, then the mod I said I'd do and started over about 3 times because it didn't play how I wanted it to. It is now in a somewhat playable state (probably short term games at this stage really 3 or 4 years, maybe 5 or 6 at a push - certainly can't play it up to modern day - which is the eventual plan). Short synopsis if you have never read the original post about this; Owen Hart did not die. He refused to do the stupid and pointless entrance that claimed his life in reality. This is set in 2002, where he is still wrestling for the WWE. WCW have not gone out of business either with Randy Savage taking the company over (originally only for the tape library). There are some subtle changes in 2002, nothing overly different on the Indies (a few guys on rosters they may not have appeared on due to WCW getting AJ Styles etc). This is NOT finished. There is so much more I want to do with it, but also I did promise to have a beta out on 2016 before I converted it to 2020. Yeah, so, that's it. Let me know what you think, whether there is anyone (outisde the obvious temporary omissions) you'd like to see included. Anything I have done wrong in terms of ages, genders, sexuality, just plain messed up. I strongly suggest you download the picture packs as this contains workers that are not in other mods so is not compatible with nGo or MSP or SAMPP. Those logos They are amazing. I like the people picture design too, I'm a fan of people making their mods stand out from the crowd. Amazing work, and hopefully if I get some time (which as the UK grows nearer to full lockdown because idiots can't seem to stay in their houses off their own back is likely) I shall really have a proper game with this. My advice, as I see it starting to slowly creep in with "what about adding" posts, is stick to your guns from your first post. Include what you know, and try not to over burden yourself with things you don't. Make the mod something you would play. Take it from someone who became so disillusioned with Real World updates that they nearly quit modding altogether.

WCW Lives is one of my favourite alternative timeline mods. It is set in 2001 and is just amazing (it is the mod I ran my longest save game with). Of course if you prefer what really happened, Death of WCW is just as good. War of the Immortals is certainly worth a look too. The work that has gone into that mod is next level. As Powerbrock100 says, it is one of the best mods currently out on TEW 2016.

I had thought about doing this type of mod too (I was also going to add characters from Muscle Hustle) but in the end I never got started. I did however add some of the 80MW characters to my Millennium mod. I look forward to playing this when you release it. Will you be adding the alter-egos (ie Ace Arcadiam also being Ace of Spades)?

I think there will be a bit of work needed (like every new TEW). The conversion tools from previous games could only do so much (broadcasters for example were a major stumbling block for me converting from 2013 to 2016). The likelihood of anyone getting anything decent out the first month or so is going to be slim. You may get some "Franken-Mods" that people transfer over with minor tweaks that don't play great. I'm personally not releasing anything until I've at least played the game, got used to the new stats/features etc... and know what I will need to update. Of course, that is just me, someone else may be able to sink 12 hours a day into updating a mod and have one out by the first week of release - who knows for sure.

Thanks Willy. I will look into those people. I think Sewell became a ref during his TNA stint. Not sure if he refereed before that but he was quite a popular wrestler in WWC around late 90s/early 00s.

I need some advice with regards to Flashpoint 2K2. A lot of the base rosters are complete for the beta but I'm missing referees and announcers from some companies as I just dont have the information readily to hand. I've no idea who was refereeing in WWC for example, or dates of birth, pictures etc... so would people be put off by user created referees and staff?

I forgot, although this mod uses joemurphys SAMPP - it also uses my HOF/I picture pack which you can download below. I suggest you install joemurphys pack FIRST and then put these into the people folder afterwards if you want to have pictures when looking through the Halls of Fame.
