<p>I just seriously can't watch Raw, or WWE in general at the moment. I absolutely HATE "Big Johnny" and I don't mean the heat where you want to see him get beaten up, I mean the sort of heat where I just don't want to see him on TV.,He is just a cheap (bad acting - boring) Mr McMahon! Authority vs. Superstar is absolutely pointless when you've already pulled it off brilliantly in the past (McMahon/Austin). </p><p> </p><p> I don't mind storylines being re-used because they are in every form of entertainment at one point or another, but I do take issue when it's done a thousand times worse than the original, 100 times worse than the time after that, or 100 times worse than the third rehash... or 4th... or 5th... and so on.</p><p> </p><p> Let's face the facts with Punk and Daniels, they are amazing wrestlers, I love both of their work and have followed both their careers for years outside WWE, but, Punk said it himself he's not a "WWE guy" and neither is Daniel Bryan, and no doubt they'll be the ones that are blamed for WWE's ratings drop, kind of a "we know better than the fans and this proves it".</p><p> </p><p> There is so much potential on the roster, but it isn't being used. Dolph Ziggler has the potential to be a top heel in the company, Jack Swagger as well. There is a place on the roster for the likes of Santino etc too (after all it is entertainment) but the writers are becoming increasingly more lazy and less creative as the years go by. Problem is, if they keep relying on Cena and Orton, and part timers such as HHH and Taker, they're going to find themselves with no one in a few years who can sell out an arena. Someone said about CM Punk being the first Mid-Card Champion, and that is exactly how they seem to have booked him... but Sheamus is the first "Opener" Champion because he is currently just being thrown into random matches. The titles in WWE mean nothing. To hold the belt is moot and this I believe is another reason WWE can't create any new Hogans/Harts/Rocks/Austins/HBKs/HHHs/Takers etc because the belts meant something when these guys were at their best, even when Jericho or Brock held the belts they meant more or Eddie and Benoit. Now the WWE Championship looks like a toy, and the "Big Gold" belt is being used as a prop.</p><p> </p><p> I know not everyone will agree (it'd be a pretty boring world if we all agreed and thought the same), but those are my thoughts on the matter.</p>

I don't disagree with Bryan Daniel becoming champ again, I do however think the belt doesn't really mean much these days anyway. You've only got to see how many times someone has been a "World Champ" these days to realise the belts don't mean as much as they used to. I wasn't happy with the 18 second "match" because when the divas match (which was god awful - can Kelly Kelly do one move without screaming like a porn star with an unmentionable up her unmentionable?) and the Funkasaurus got more time than Daniel Bryan and Sheamus I just kinda realised winning the Royal Rumble and winning titles in WWE are just "giimmicks and have no prestige whatsoever. A match I was really looking forward to, Kane v Orton and I wasn't disappointed. Ortons selling at the end of the match was brilliant. He really made Kane look good, without damaging his own status as a top face. I don't know if many will agree with me on this match and I maybe being biased due to the fact I like Kane. Cody v Big Show was... average at best I would say. I like Cody Rhodes and no doubt he'll get the belt back somewhere down the road. I just don't think Big Show and Rhodes mesh in the ring - however that said, after all the years service I could kind of see Big Show being given this victory, however I think Show as IC Champion is more a "thank you" for his years of loyalty more than being the guy to take a long run with the belt, but I could be wrong. The Divas tag match gets about this much written about it... NOTHING! I really enjoyed the Taker/HHH match. I was sceptical at first but was entertained, and even though in the back of my mind I knew the streak wouldn't end, at one point I thought I may have been wrong. For me, I think this was one of the more intense matches on the card afterwards, and I'm glad they gave it that "End of an Era" tag line because I wouldn't want to see it again - just because this one was so good. Shawn Michaels was great too. His emotion and conflict was portrayed brilliantly. You'll never see 3 wrestlers like these again. A dying breed, called characters - not generic cocky heel #134 vs. generic babyface #232. This was Triple H, The Game, The Cerebral Assassin against The Deadman, The Demon of Death Valley, The Undertaker! Must say though, Undertakers haircut was a bit suspect lol. Hall of Fame inductees, I thought were great this year. I really would like Demolition in there one year - hey if Koko can do it then surely the first team to win the tag belts 3 times (I think that's right) could get a crack! lol. Team Teddy v Team Long wasn't bad. Too many people involved in the match and maybe a 4 v 4 would have been better - I think Mark Henry and Khali could have been left out of it. Aksana looked hot... so boosted my interests lol. One of the matches I bought the PPV for, CM Punk v Chris Jericho I thought was pretty awesome. I must admit though I was getting really tired by this point and struggling to keep my eyes open (I rarely stay up til stupid o'clock these days). however the match itself was good enough to stop me from finally succumbing to the heavy eyelids. The belief that Punk was going to lose the belt was there too. They genuinley amde you think "whoa, his reigns about to end" and I loved that. Plenty of back and forth, and neither man looked weak at the end of this one. Finish was spot on as well. I'm sure I've missed something... oh yeah the Main Event. The only reason any of the audience bought the PPV. The only reason any of the live audience turned up. (Or so we'd been led to believe). I didn't care for it at all. Am I insane? some may think so. I just did not enjoy this match at all. I wanted to, hell I bought the PPV to eb entertained. My reasons for my dislike of this match was cecause The Rock looked like a guy who had been away from the ring too long, which i know he has been, but still that doesn't mean I have to like the match or cut any slack. This was a match hyped for a year, the main event of the biggest wrestlnig event of the year, and based on performance looked like a match you could have stuck somewhere in the middle of a Raw or Smackdown! card. Rock blew up a few minutes in and looked tired and breathless! I really was disappointed. Going into this match I wanted The Great One to win, I wanted him to destroy Cena, but by about the 8th minute I was bored and couldn't get myself back into the match. I ended up not caring who won and just wanted the match to end so I could go to sleep. I honestly hope that's the last time we see The Rock wrestle, because the ring rust was way too obvious for all to see, and at a huge event like Wrestlemania, you want to see a good match. Thank god this was "Once in a Lifetime". All in all I thought this years event was good and I enjoyed the majority of the show. It was also the first WWE PPV I've watched since last years Wrestlemania - and worth the money I paid overall I thought. Just wishing the main event had been better. Just my opinions on the show.

I rarely comment on WWE but the little viginettes had me intrigued so I watched Raw live for a change. I enjoyed the CM Punk v. Ziggler match but you could see a mile off that Punk would get screwed - however it was done well. Still the match was solid and Ziggler taking the belt despite the count out win was a nice touch. I turned off midway through Jerichos return. Shame because as I said, that was the first Raw I stayed up until 2am to watch and believe me, it'll be the last Raw I watch period. Whoever wrote that return is an idiot. Whether it's part of a bigger story or not really doesn't matter to me now because it was the worst pay off to a 6 week hype. Don't get me wrong I was happy when Jericho appeared, but after 5 minutes of "yeah baby" and pointing to the crowd I was bored. Vince and Jericho think ALL fans who post on the internet are morons who want WWE to fail, and that they all deserve the big F.U. which is actually not true. I wanted WWE to entertain me and it is becoming more apparent that just isn't going to happen because they're more interested in their "F*** the Internet" era so I'll invest my time in something else. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a one shot deal - yes Vince and Jericho are that arrogant that it could be. They're both set for life financially so why care about the fans who invest their time in the product? I hope for those of you who will continue to watch WWE that I'm wrong because fans of wrestling (or fans of anything really), whether it be those on the internet or those who don't even own a computer, deserve much better than that pile of shit Raw churned out. Just my opinion, don't expect people to agree or disagree.

I'll add bits as I go (narratives etc), or if people want something/notice errors just let me know. Remember this spin off is just for fun, and there isn't too much depth to the workers pool - I won't add anyone else. Everyone starts out on an even playing field and it's up to you to take the company you choose to the top. It pretty much uses the same pics from the Kombat X data, however you might want to go through this thread if you're missing pics (logos) and save them into your relevant folders.

Been a while but I opted to start again with the X-Fight 2012 data. Kombat X is now dead in the water and free for people to import, add whatever to their own data sets and mods. The X-Fight spin off: I have now included characters from TMNT, Mass Effect & Dragon Age to flesh the data out a bit. Once I hit 400 (currently 399) workers I will move on to some narratives for fun. The reason for adding TMNT characters to the data after stating this would be focused solely on Computer game characters is that they fit the data and because I had some decent images for them. I won't go above 400 characters because it's probably already going to have a big pool of free agents sitting there doing nothing (can't see each promotion signing 100 workers). I'm looking for a release maybe in the first week of January 2012. I'm the first one to moan about a show that had little wrestling, and although I was disappointed with the lack of in ring action I have to say the rest was actually very entertaining. I hope they drop the TNA name though because it is very misleading. It certainly isn't a company with "Nonstop Action" as last night showed.

I tend now to just randomly go into sites to do with the subject and click links from those sites and more often than not you'll find 2 or 3 really cool pics that Google images hasn't brought up (in this case I wanted a new shredder pic and found that massive mash up pic). Although the Shredder & the Foot Soldier ones were on Google images on their own, I clicked onto a few links within it, finding the mash up pic. It's how i find alot of the custom MK stuff now too. EDIT: I intend on revamping the actual Kombat mod too, including the addition of Government Issue Wrestling that I was throwing around previously and maybe another "generic" promotion with various different characters in. I want to get this more "uniformed".

I will probably still have no interest in buying the Survivor Series event, even if The Rock is on the card so don't think everyone is going to buy it just to see The Rock, not everyone has the money to watch one guy wrestle maybe 5 minutes in total so I don't expect buyrates spike too much unless there is a solid card in total. Not all of us are going to eat up every ounce of BS from WWE and part with money we don't have just to see The Rock and Cena tag up. I would however pay to see The Rock kick Cenas ass. I'd also like to see how this is going to pan out. Why Cena and Rock will be teaming, will the opposing team have some relevance or whether it'll just be "Rocks agreed to appear, chuck him into a match in the hopes of bigger buyrates with no rhyme or reason as to why" which lets face it, I wouldn't put past Creative. That definately would take the shine off a Rock return. And if that ends up being the case, you will see some of those people who have returned to watching WWE recently switch off again. Right now my interest has been peaked with some pretty good storylines going at the moment with CM Punk/HHH/Nash, Sin Cara & Sin Cara in "The Faceless Face-off" as well as the Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase stories being the ones that I'm enjoying, and why did I get back into WWE? Yes The Rocks return, and I know for a fact I'm not the only one who got back into it for that reason... I certainly didn't tune in to see "Mr Cheap Pop" John Cena and his... er... wait I'm not gonna turn this into a Cena bashing.

I gave up trying to work TNA out and just stopped watching in the end. Angle has been there 5 years and turned so many times it makes no difference anymore if he's a face or heel. Anderson in 18 months has switched back and forth so much it became stupid. No one turning heel or face in that company is a shock or surprise anymore and that is why they'll continue being an Indy Sports Entertainment promotion with high production costs, nothing more. I would say they're no more popular than ECW was in the 90's, but the product they offer is less entertaining.

Probably not but that's the problem in general with wrestling. There are not many talented writers about.

Immortal was a great concept, but as with alot of storylines in TNA, they complicated it and completely screwed it up. With Anderson and Gunner, I find myself scratching my head in utter confusion. As for the Sting "Joker" gimmick... I actually like it. I don't know why, maybe its my secret love for Wrestlecrap, but I just found myself enjoying it. It could also be that I have no sympathy for Hogans character. I like them both too. I think witha bit of work and the right stories they could be extremely valuable to the company in terms of future stars.

Yeah I remember her dive off the balcony onto The Family at Frontiers of Honor.

Lol. Overrated, such an over used word on forums. Wouldn't life suck if we all liked the same women. Shes been in my top 20 females within wrestling since 2003 and if that means I'm not in the "GDS" cool kids club... I guess I'll have to try not losing any sleep over it.

The Cena debate seems to be neverending. Some people like the character, others don't. Can we leave it at that and move on? So I'm kinda behind with WWE at the moment, I saw the Punk promo but missed the rest of Raw but have to say, whether it's a complete shoot or not, the execution of that promo was absolutely brilliant. Took me back to the days of Brian Pillman or Steve Austin when they appeared in ECW and tore into Bischoff and WCW. CM Punk certainly made people sit up and take notice.

Could not agree more... Winter is only 1 of 3 reasons I still watch Impact.
