MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Dave Marquez and Joe Galli welcome us to episode 28 of NWA Powerrr! They hype up the show with the debut of Paul Ellering's tag team, the men formerly known as the Authors of Pain who will face NWA Tag Team legends the Rock N' Roll Express in their debut tonight! Also tonight, new NWA World Television Champion made a plea on NWA's Youtube to be a fighting champion, he defends against "Uptown" Andy Brown! And in our main event, NWA Women's Champion Thunder Rosa will face one of her would-be challenger, Kamille, in a non-title match with high stakes! Galli also reminds us that tonight Nick Aldis will reveal his challenger for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, the man who he will face at Hard Time 2 on january. Marquez wonders if this "christmas present" will be a fluke from Aldis and predicts he'll bring out someone like Kahagas or Rob Conway. But without further a do, we go to Sean Mooney who's interviewing someone at the desk...

    tmocOOD.jpgDyPNSIy.jpg

Sean Mooney welcomes Tim Storm and asks him what are his plans for Christmas. Storm talks about his family, getting the usual "Mamma Storm" chants from the audience here in the studio. Tim Storm says that like every Christmas, he will gathers with his family and loved ones. But this year, Christmas is special. Because this year, his mom asked him for a very special present... She wants him to retire from professional wrestling. Sean Mooney anxiously asks him if he will offer her this present. Storm says he hasn't decided yet. Because he isn't decided. Because he wants to prove himself he can still go. Storm reflects on his failures this past year. Last year, he lost to Nick Aldis, preventing him from ever challenging for the Ten Pounds of Gold again. Recently, he failed Trevor Murdock in the Crockett Cup. And he was pinned 2 times by Thomas Latimer, Strictly Business' Wildcard. Latimer hurt his confidence. Here was a man that he already beat. A wildman, a hired gun that does Nick Aldis' dirty work. If he can beat this type of thug, is he a top wrestler still? Is he championship material still? Because if he isn't, he can retire in peace. He doesn't want to cling on his spot like every old guy in this busines. If it's his time, he will go... But only if it's his time. That's why he wants another shot at Thomas Latimer. He wants a last chance to see if he can go. That's why he's issuing a challenge right here, right now!

    uqo3oSS.jpg

Of course this brings out the Wildcard, one half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions. Latimer is all smug. He laughs at Tim Storm, saying that he already beat him twice. He also reminds him that it's HIS "miss", Kamille, that cost him the chance to EVER challenge again for the world championship. As far as he's concerned, he doesn't have ANYTHING to prove. He will not face Tim Storm again. He takes offense to having been called a "thug" and swears Storm that he is a better wrestler than he ever was. Storm gets angry: "you've never been to my mountain top, kid! I was the world champion! I was THE guy!" Latimer switch his smug face to a mask of anger and screams at Storm: he is what he wants to be and that is an animal of a wrestler, the Wildcard, the brutalizer. He is born a hooligan and he will always be wild. That's his style. And right now, he reminds Storm that he is the one holding gold. He again refuses the challenge and begins to walk away... But someone else comes to the stand.

    4ZvcZ9g.jpg

"Yeah?!... Yeah?!..." Drake reminds us all that Thunder Rosa and himself defeated Nick Aldis. He says that he is the rightful #1 challenger but Aldis is playing games. Drake says he is a patient man, he will wait for Aldis to face whoever he gets from out of his hat at Hard Times 2... MEANWHILE. He always had a huge amount of respect for Tim Storm and says he reminds him of his father. He's righteous, he's fair, he's honorable. He doesn't want him to be disrespected by the scum of the United Kingdom. At this words, Latimer makes a move towards Drake, but a ref gets in between, and his partner comes from the back to hold him off.

    mdjzfyi.jpg

Drake is glad to see Doug Williams. He reminds us that he made a promise to go through every single member of Strictly Business in order to get to Aldis. He already beat Bennett. He and Rosa beat Kamille and Aldis. Now he wants to whoop both THEIR asses. Latimer tells him to come get it, and Drake puts his arm around Tim Storm's neck. He tells him that he never lost the NWA World Tag Team Championship. He went to management, and told them that it was bullshit that Nick Aldis picked his own challengers. SO, as a measure of compensation, they offered him a shot... At the NWA World Tag Team Championship. After all, that's only fair, right? But James Storm is not a NWA Wrestler anymore... So he can team with another Storm... "So what do you say, Timmy Boy?" Tim Storm has a huge smile on his face as Latimer gets all angry and Williams tries to calm him down. Storm says it would be his PLEASURE. His pleasure to go at Latimer and hey, who knows, maybe another belt... Drake tells him to find a nice bouquet for his mamma at Christmas, because he's not retiring right now... Not until Hard Times 2 when they will face Strictly Business for the NWA World Tag Team Championship!

    1. Anthony Bennett def. "Uptown" Andy Brown. Anthony Bennett makes defense #1 of his NWA World Television Championship..

This match was all style and rythm. Not a dance contest, but two magnificent athlete battling with high risks moves in order to put the match to an end before the dreaded 7-minutes time limit that hands above all NWA TV title matches like a Sword of Damocles.

This was an even match-up but we quickly saw that Anthony Bennett's title win last week was no fluke. The young man with an absurdly high flat-top kept his head in the game and made no mistake, blocking a superkick and transitioning into his Buzzcut (Paydirt) for the win in 6 minutes of high intensity fast-paced action.

    2QeprzN.jpg

The young champion lost no time and held up his belt in the air, before going to his fallen opponent and shaking his hand. As the NWA World Television Champion began to bounce to his own theme song, a twangy voice was heard all accross the studio and... It's him! "The artist FKA as Famous B, now using a stupid made up German name to scam people with his "lawyer" skill" said Joe Galli.

    G8aXyn4.jpg

"Young man!" He said, "you don't know me. But every judge in his state do. I've been hired as the legal representation of the RIGHFUL holder of this championship, Mister d'Angelo Dinero, also known as the Pope. He CONTESTS the result of the match that saw him lose the belt, arguing that both his shoulders didn't touch the floor and that was a quick count. I will go through ANY LOOPHOLE to see that my client's not being made a fool of.... Mister Bennett, there's now a legal action against you. We will see each other in court."

As the "lawyer" leaves, Anthony Bennett is dumbfounded in the ring, but seems a little amused by everything that just happened.

    __________

Ater a publicity break, we come back to some chaos at the ringside interviewer's desk, apparently, we're having an unscheduled... Interview?

    cbalLBh.jpg

"LISTEN UP BOYZ! Aron Stevens, Brad Stevens, Steven Spielberg, Stephen King, DON'T MATTER!... You #&?! attacked my baby brother! YOU PUT YOUR DIRTY NO GOOD WANNA BE ACTOR HANDS ON MY BROTHER! YOU USED YOUR bull***t Toys'R'Us belt to CHOKE HIM! You think we would let that fly?! You think I WOULD LET THAT FLY?!

ARON STEVENS! You and your human masked bag of trash are in for a treat NEXT WEEK!... NWA POWERRR!... YOU'RE FACING THE BRISCOE BROTHERS YOU %$#&!"

Wow... After these words, Jay Briscoe storms to the back, leaving a semi-afraid Sean Mooney at loss for words. It seems like Jay Briscoe is back in NWA after his loss in the Crockett Cup... Thanks to Aron Stevens and The Question Mark. And next week, he'll exact revenge on them after they brutally attacked Mark Briscoe last week!

    2. Sunny Dhinsa & Gzim Selmani /w. Paul Ellering defeat the Rock N' Roll Express in mere minutes..

This match was ugly. It has been said that Robert Gibson is one of the most famous punching bag of this sports, having taken so many damages and being thrown around for decaded by the likes of Ric Flair or Rick Rude. The Rock N' Roll Express have faced tremendous teams over the years, Arn & Tully, the Midnights, the Road Warriors... But no one like Paul Ellering's team.

Dhinsa & Selmani absolutely mauled them with a mean streak and a viciousness unrivaled in the history of NWA Powerrr. They brutalized them, didn't even flinched when they were hit, and finished them in mere minutes with their Super Collider.

    dQgcYKB.jpgIeT1WtL.jpgJdvb1OI.jpg

As paramedics rush to attend to Gibson & Morton, Ellering calmly climbs to the ring and grabs a microphone, flanked by his team. He introduces them by their REAL name, stressing the fact that they had stupide nicknames "up North". He says that they are no supernatural force. They are no grim reapers. What they are is absolute beasts. "Let me tell you a story you don't know, because it was more interesting to brainless storyteller to occult this: Sunny Dhinsa is a world-class amateur wrestler. He was offered a sport in the 2016 Olympics. He was the best freestyle amateur wrestler in all of Canada. He won a silver medal in the Panamerican game... And Gzim Selmani? Oh boy. Gzim Selmani is trained in judo since he was 4. He's a 8-2 MMA fighter. He's a beast from Kosovo that was taught nothing but FIGHT."

Ellering reminds us that they left a trail of destruction so big in their former promotions, that they tried to erase them in favour of their golden boys. Why? Because they're not pretty. Because they ain't talkers. Because they are not cosmetically pleasing. They're ugly, they are bears, they are trolls, they are giants! Ellering tells us that ins less than 4 years they rolled over their competition. But then, he was separated from them, HIS creation, HIS project, HIS legacy! Now, they are back under his tutelage.

Ellering explains us the principle of Occam's Razor: the simplest explanation is usually the right one. This team right here IS Occam's Razor made human. They are the simplest explanation to the question: what happened? Who DESTROYED the Rock N' Roll Express? Who's the toughest team in the world? Who's the monolith in the wrestling landscape?... Them.

Ellering makes a promise: Occam's Razor will be NWA World Tag Team Champions in 2021... "Merry Christmas.".

As Ellering leaves, followed by Sunny and Gzim, the camera focuses on the Rock N' Roll Express who's being stretchered out of the studio.

    3. Thunder Rosa defeats Kamille.

Our main event was all women's action, and it definitely stole the show!

The brute force of Kamille went against the no-nonsense striking style of the NWA Women's World Champion. History runs between these two as Kamille attacked Thunder Rosa back on episode 23, claiming she'll be next in line. Unfortunately for her, after some weeks of chasing around, Thunder Rosa submitted her in the middle of the ring on episode 26 in a mixed tag team match.

Kamille still wants a shot, and the commentators tells us that if she beats the champion she'll logically be next in line. So Kamille leaves it all in the ring. She attacks, again and again, trying to tire her opponent and to overwhelm her with her strength advantage. But the champs not no champ for nothing. She always gets back up, even when being dominated. She added a flurry of hard kicks to her arsenal and she uses them to weaken Kamille's legs. She even delivers a serie of low kicks to Kamille's leg that leaves her on one knee. Thunder Rosa then flies to the ropes and runs at Kamille with a shining wizard reminiscent of the Great Muta for a 2 count.

In the end, Rosa's strategy is paying as Kamille wants to lift her in a military press, but he weaken leg flinches and she let Rosa fall. The champion jumps at the occasion and traps her in leg hook. Kamille has no choice but to tap out.

    y1rsWQT.jpg

The champion gets on the microphone. She says even though she uses dubious tactics and associated herself with "these scums" Strictly Business, Kamille is one tough woman. Rosa advises her to distance herself from this crew in order to improve. She then tells us that she's a woma of a few words, and proves it by just saying: "Serena Deeb... I've heard you... You're on." The challenge seems accepted! Thunder Rosa will defend against Serena Deeb!

The speculations have been multiple. Tonight, Nick Aldis "gifts us" with the challenger he handpicked to defend the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against. He promised a major star, a legend, a demi-god and a former NWA World champion. Lots of people have been speculating he might be tricking us and bringing in a fluke like Kahagas. Aldis says he's been very disappointed by these rumors. What he wants is to uphold the prestige of the Ten Pounds of Gold. What he wants is to defend against the best of the best. He wants to prove to the world that THIS is the real world heavyweight championship... And that he's the best of them all. He's 3 days away from 800 days as NWA World Champion in this current reign. He surpassed Adam Pearce and is the 7th man who have had the title for the most cumulative days. If he defends successfully at Hard Times 2 he'll surpasse Gene Kiniski. But his task is hard. Because he's not bringing a fluke. He's not bringing in a joke... He's bringing us a Hall of Famer. A former NWA World Heavyweight Champion... And a former MMA World Champion. Ladies and gentlemen KEN SHAMROCK!

    bkvn0ST.jpg

Holy cow! The World's Most Dangerous Man, fresh off a tremendous come back stint in Impact Wrestling, is here in the NWA studio! Shamrock is wearing a neat suit and sunglasses. He goes to the ring and shakes Nick Aldis' hand. They both pose for ringside photographs. Aldis says he's honored to share the ring with Shamrock and that this is a historic moment. Shamrock smiles, grabs the microphone, and says he doesn't know if Aldis really respects him and if being respectful... Or if he thinks he'll beat him easily. But he swears he's in for the fight of his life. Aldis smiles and answers that this is what he is looking for. The two men shake hands again as the show ends.

Dave Marquez and Joe Galli welcome us to this BRAND NEW episode of NWA Powerrr! We're one week before Christmas, and already the NWA is giving away gifts, as we have a night packed with action: a NWA World Television Championship rematch! Marti Belle vs. Serena Deeb! Mark Briscoe versus the Question Mark! And before beginning this night, David Marquez introduces a director's cut of the sit-down interview he had with Nick Aldis earlier this week, the full 50minutes version is available on NWA's Youtube Channel!

    __________

    NMjJ0DR.jpgSbVug87.jpg

After the mundanities, the first question David Marquez asks to "the National Treasure" Nick Aldis is that he thought of his partners and best friends Thomas Latimer and Doug Williams' path to the Crockett Cup 2020 and the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Aldis recalls his deep history with Doug Williams, a man who mentored him, teamed with him and elevated him. He says that when he brought Williams to Strictly Business, he knew it was the right move. Aldis talks about the pure strenght, the unstoppable brute force and madness that is "Wildcard" Thomas Latimer. This combination, according to Aldis, is a perfect match. "The braun and the brain", the fury and the wisdom. He knew right from the beginning that they will be World Tag Team Champions. Aldis mentions that Williams is an upgrade from former member Royce Isaacs and that to him they are the best tag team in the NWA.

Marquez asks more about Strictly Business, that are the plan? Aldis talks about Kamille deserving to be the NWA Women's Champion. She's a super athlte, a bodybuilder, a footballer, but what's more important is that she's got class and a real passion for this business. Aldis attacked Thunder Rosa, saying that if she had so much passion she wouldn't be gambling away her safety fighting MMA bouts. He also mentions Mike Bennett that he brought in because he saw something in him. He saw himself, he saw a man who was left behind, neglected. A man people had a bias towards. People saw him as a pretty boy who didn't make it in ROH. As a man who crutched on his wife to be relevant. But he's not that. He's a man that's PASSIONATE about wrestling. He's a man with a burden on his shoulders, that has two young kids. He wnats these kids to grow up and be proud of them. Marquez asks him about Maria Kanellis making her surprise debut during the Crockett Cup. Aldis smiles and says that he has no saying in what a wife does with her husband. Marquez asks if he knew she will interfere, and Aldis just smirks.

In another segment of the interview, David Marquez asks about Eli Drake, and suggest he's next in line for a shot after beating Aldis & Kamille. Aldis gets upset: Eli Drake didn't beat him. Did the people see his shoulders being pinned on the mat for the 3 count? No. Because he hasn't been pinned in over 800 days, the time he held his championship belt for. Thunder Rosa beat Kamille. Nick Aldis didn't promise anything. He didn't say that Drake would earn a title shot if he won this stupid match. People made this up. Drake made this up, he proclaimed that - if he won with Thunder Rosa - he'll be next in line. But he's not. Aldis says he's not worthy of it. David Marquez asks him why, and Aldis gets even more upset: is it to anyone to question a king's word?! He said he wanted to elevate the prestige of this world championship. He wanted his legacy and the legacy of the title to be intertwinded in greatness. It's not by facing Eli Drake and his silly catchphrases that he'll do that. He already defended the belt in China, in Texas, in the UK and on 4 continents! He beat former NWA World Champion Colt Cabana, he beat former NWA World Champion Cody Rhodes, he defeated former NWA World Champion Tim Storm, he defeated former NWA World Champion Jax Dane, he defeated former world champion Marty Scurll. He defeated the best wrestler EVER from South Africa, PJ Black. He defeated everyone from star to journeyman. Now it's done. It's not by defeating Eli Drake that he will elevate this world championship.

When people talk about the NWA World Championship they should talk about it like the Northern Star, something that never flinches, that always shines and that's always there. In order to shine brighter, Nick Aldis will only make significant defenses from now on. Marquez asks him who's next in line. Aldis smiles and let a pompous silence installs... Before saying that on the 27th of January, for the new year, the NWA will be back on Pay Per View with Hard Times 2... And he will defend against a FORMER NWA World Champion... A legend, a myth. A demi-god who he wants to offer one last chance to battle for the richest prize of them all. A Great... That he will bring out as a Christmas Present, next week on NWA Powerrr!

    __________

    1. Anthony Bennett beats The Pope to WIN the NWA World Television Championship with an inside craddle! What a shocker! NWA World Television Championship match are limited to a 7 minutes time limit, so Anthony Bennett knew he had no time to lose. Last time he challenged, he got tricked and ended up drawing the match he was about to win. So he flew all in to the match, attacking the Pope relentlessly. The Pope, on his part, did less taunting and strutting than last time, but instead stall, clearly not bothered by drawing the match again. Win or draw, if he defends his title 7 times, he earns a shot at the World Championship.

Pope quickly grew upset at Bennett's constant attack, and began to argue with the referee, pretending Bennett's fists were closed, or that he gouged his eyes. The referee wasn't a fool and didn't get bait.

After six minutes, The Pope tried to escape from the ring, signaling he was done and intending on being counted out. But Bennett saw him, ran to the rope and delivered a beautifull suicide dive on Pope to the outside. He then threw him to the ring, but Pope got him in a rollup! One, two... Bennett reversed in his own inside craddle... He wins! He's the champion!

    2QeprzN.jpg

The high flat-top wearing, hip-hop dancing young product of the Monster Factory is your new NWA World Television Champion! Bennett is estatic, he holds the belt in his arms, crying with joy. Ringside, the Pope is furious and screams at the referee. He quickly goes to the interviewer desk and grabs a microphone.

    QR1kSQx.jpg

"MY SHOULDERS WEREN'T ON THE GROUUUUND! HE DIDN'T PIN ME! I'M STILL THE CHAMP! I GOT SCREWED! I GOT..." As the producers cut Pope's microphone, we can still hear him scream. He's pissed that his microphone is cut, and says it's a conspiracy against him. A conspiracy! "A CONSPIRACYYYY"

    2. Serena Deeb def. Marti Belle with a fireman's carry gutbuster. The young and fierce Marti Belle went against the veteran Serena Deeb. It was a rather competitive match, but it was clear early on that this match belonged to Deeb. She outsmarted Marti Belle at any chance, like she knew what she was thinking before she even thought it. In the end, Belle grew more and more upset, while Deeb remained calm and patient. She capitalized on a missed diving double axe handle from Belle to kick him in the gut and finish her with her gutbuster.

    p7zDOhx.jpgtmocOOD.jpg

Our deer Sean Mooney welcomes Serena Deeb to the interviewer desk before she leaves the studio. What a match! He says he's impressed by what he saw, he saw a cold determination inside Serena Deeb that he never saw before. Deeb thanks him and thanks the fans. She says she fights with more determination that before, that's true. She talks about her experience as a coach in the WWE Performance center. She was glad to teach others, to pass on some knowledge. But all young students saw, was the woman who got her hair shaved bald on TV. They just saw the woman who could never be the top girl in SHIMMER, never once claiming the championship. All they saw was a solid wrestler with some knowledge... And that made her angry. Not a burst of rage, but a cold anger, the sort that motivates you. She doesn't want to be "the girl who got shaved bald on national TV". She thought her legacy would be in teaching yoga and wrestling, in helping other... But she can't help. She's proud, like anybody else. That's why she's so focused. That's why she's so determined. In order to be something else that "that coach" or "the woman who got shaved on TV", she needs to win the NWA World Women's Championship. Serena Deeb is making her case: she wants Thunder Rosa.

    3. Mark Briscoe def The Question Mark by disqualification.

What a bizarre matchup. A lot of comedy, with the two men posturing in weirds martial arts pose. Lots of shenanigans also, with Aron Stevens ringside interfering in favor of his "sensei"... Even when he didn't need it.

The two wrestlers didn't settle on the martial arts throw and hits, but Mark Briscoe did the heavy lifting in the match against the far less mobile Question Mark, who quickly felt gassed and overwhlemed. Briscoe got the better of the Question Mark for the better of the match, and tried to finish the match with the classic "swan pose" Daniel LaRusso Karate Kid's Kick... But Aron Stevens jumped to the ring and hit him from behind, causing the DQ.

    aurAjvn.jpgLGJ12K6.jpgtsgZtYi.jpg

The post match beatdown that ensued was brutal. Aron Stevens held Briscoe up, and Question Mark delivered his brutal "Death Touch" to the throat of Briscoe. The damage is not enough for the Mongrovian Karate practioners, as the Question Mark keeps the staff and referees at bay, while Aron Stevens chokes Mark Briscoe with his black belt! The scene is brutal, but oh boy here comes the cavalry.

    cfUfkTi.jpg

The NWA National Champion comes out like a modern day Stan Hansen, throwing around a massive cow bell at the end of a rope. He runs to the ring like a madman, and former National Champion Aron Stevens is quick to escape. Murdock swings at Question Mark, but the masked wonder from Mongrov follows his disciple and escapes. We get the credits to the show, as Murdock helps Mark Briscoe to his feet.

    MONGROVIAN KARATE VS. REDNECK KUNG-FU

    aurAjvn.jpgtsgZtYi.jpg

The Question Mark and his Mongrovian Karate pupil Aron Stevens inadvertly costed the Briscoe Brothers their Crockett Cup first round match. That didn't sit well with Briscoe Brothers' youngest sibling, the crazy Mark Briscoe.

"Chicken" came back to NWA Powerrr to issue a challenge: a one on one match between two masters of their craft, two world-class martial artists, himself and the Question Mark.

Last week, the Question Mark was brief in his response: yes. Despite Aron Stevens' posturing and taunting, the Question Mark seemed focus on the challenge ahead.

THIS WEEK, the master of Redneck Kung-Fu goes one on one with the only 8th grade Mongrovian Karate black belt in the world, the Question Mark!

WHO WILL STEP UP IN THE WOMEN'S DIVISION?

    p7zDOhx.jpgVrGWa9X.jpg

NWA World Women's Champion Thunder Rosa was clear: she'll take on any challenger!

The women wrestlers of the NWA were quick to step up to the challenge. On an NWA Youtube exclusive, Marti Belle claimed she wanted to be Rosa's next challenger. She recalled being "friend" with Rosa under the tutelage of Melina on the early beginnings of NWA Powerrr. She said she knows Tunder Rosa better than any other women, and that she has what it takes to take her down.

Former SHIMMER's staple and Smackdown diva Serena Deeb also wants in. Signing with the NWA just after its relaunch, the 34 years old veteran boasted that her 15 years of wrestling experience made her a dangerous challenger to Thunder Rosa.

These two will clash on the next episode of NWA Powerrr, with the winner putting herself in position to challenge Thunder Rosa!

    STRICTLY BUSINESS REIGNS SUPREME (?)

    ycmXNrl.jpgNMjJ0DR.jpg

After Doug Williams and Thomas Latimer's win of the Crockett Cup 2020 and the NWA World Tag Team Championship, Strictly Business regained its former glory, holding once again the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and the tag straps.

But Nick Aldis is coming off a defeat as Kamille and him lost to Thunder Rosa and Eli Drake last week.

This week, Nick Aldis will adress the state of the NWA, of Strictly Business and his vision for the future of NWA Powerrr in a special pre-recorded sit-down interview with David Marquez.

A REMATCH FOR THE NWA WORLD TV CHAMPIONSHIP

    2QeprzN.jpgQR1kSQx.jpg

Three weeks ago, Anthony Bennett was this close, THIS close to winning the NWA World Television Championship from The Pope. But the NWA World Television Championship is defended under a 7-minutes time limit rule. Unfortunately, the time limit expired just as Anthony Bennett seemed to have won a decisive advantage in the match.

The following week, The Pope lost his first round match in the Crockett Cup under the eye of Anthony Bennett. The two men glanced at each other as the Pope left the place. Anthony Bennett promised he will have another shot and make good on this one.

THIS WEEK, he gets his rematch as he faces The Pope for the NWA World Television Championship!

  8. Can I please have rules for an IMPACT game with Oct. 2020 data? I'm picking up where right before the Victory Road show.

Hey! Came up with a few ideas, hope you'll like them!

The Raju Show: Rohit Raju is on a roll with the X-Division Championship!... Kinda. You maye be tempted to restore the X-Division to its former glory with workhorses as champ... But Raju must hold on to the belt for the next 6 months.

F*, Marry, Kill: Dez, Wentz, Trey.

By the end of 2021, one of the Rascalz must have had a reign with the World Championship.

One must be on a tag team with another wrestler from the roster and challenge for the tag straps.

The other must be jobbed out.

You decide how they break up

(In)sAniTy?: The maniac that is Eric Young, now that he is world champion, is starting to draw some other maniacs to his side. Eric Young must begin to create a cult-like stable of people that have the attibute "Play Offbeat/Unstable Well"

#ALLEGO: Ethan Page must ascend to the status of "Star" before the end of 2021. That can be as a solo wrestler of still a part of The North.

Where is my Mind?: Susie cannot return fully to being Su Yung. She must keep the alter ego/schizophrenic gimmick. She must wrestle as Su Yung at least and never more than once a month.

We did it first!: The Knockouts were the Women's Revolution before there was a Women's Revolution in Wrestling. By the end of 2021, the Knockouts must have main evented at least one Event

  9. All caught up and I'm really enjoying it. I'm an Eli Drake fan so I'm happy to see him getting a proper push. I also like how you're using AEW/other partnerships.

Thank you for the support! :D

To be quite honest I didn't know much about Eli Drake before NWA Powerrr, and I didn't like the few things I saw from him on iMPACT... But he really shone on Powerrr and I grew quite found of him

Tim Storm has been feuding with Strictly Business since day 1 of NWA Powerrr. Most recently, he's been beaten and insulted by Thom Latimer who told him he wanted him to retire. SO the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion was eager to prove himself against Strictly Business' Wildcard. It was all bruises and powermoves between Storm and Latimer, but the more endurant Latimer began to gain some traction. Storm had to tag in the NWA National Champion, and Murdock was a house of fire, delivering lariats after lariats. </span></span><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:system;"> This ultra competitive, wild brawl of a match, lasted for 14 minutes of back and forth with no decisive edge. But in the end, the always resourceful and sneaky Doug Williams was the decisive factor. As Tim Storm was gaining the upper hand on Latimer, he ran to the rope. Williams, from the outisde, grabbed his foot. This distracted Storm, and allowed Latimer to hit him from behind with a lariat in the neck. He then dropped Storm to the floor and hit him with a brutal Curb Stomp for the win.</span></span></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>__________</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="tmocOOD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tmocOOD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cfUfkTi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cfUfkTi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="DyPNSIy.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DyPNSIy.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:System;">Sean Mooney is with the losers of this match after their elimination from the Crockett Cup. He'll live to fight another day. And he knows deep down his head wasn't fully into this following Aron Stevens and Question Mark's shenanigans last time they fought in the Crockett Cup. He repeats he'll live to fight another day, he'll fight to defend his NWA National Championship... And he's not done with Stevens and Question Mark. Mooney then goes to Tim Storm, who's at loss for words. Storm says it has been twice Thomas Latimer has pinned him in this ring in the span of a few weeks. He's questioning himself, and ponders on Murdock's words... Yeah, he has to live to fight another day but at what cost? What is there left for him to fight for? Mooney recaps Question Mark's history here on NWA Powerrr, and reminds us that he never spoke more than his traditionnal "Ka-ra-tay", chanted along by the crowd here in the studio. Sean Mooney says that a challenge has been issue, a mano-a-mano martial arts confrontation. Mark Briscoe challenged the Question Mark... And he's here to answer.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:system;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:system;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> Before Question Mark can answer, Stevens orientate the microphone from the hand of Sean Mooney towards his mouth. He says his sensei is a man of few words, like every super trained martial artist. He made a vow of silence during the first 10 years of his training in the Mongrovian Mountains, and that left his throat a little sore. So he wants us to make silence in order to appreciate the wisdom of Question Mark's words.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:system;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:system;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> The crowd chants "Ka Ra Te" and that annoys Stevens who screams at them: "SILENCE!". Finally, Sean Mooney turns his attention to Question Mark once again: "what is your answer to Mark Briscoe?". It looks like Question Mark is about to speak, but Stevens once again interfere. He tells us that Mark Briscoe is a no-good hillbily, and that "Redneck Kung-Fu" doesn't exists! Heimself, as a specialist of martials arts, having watched ALL of Bruce Lee's movies, can attest that there is no such thing as Redneck Kung-Fu. Question Mark-sensei is a serious martial artist, not a pretender, not a pantomime! Mongrovian Karate is REAL.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:system;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:system;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> Sean Mooney is annoyed by Stevens: "in the words of the great Gorilla Monsoon... We got the opposition of a badass champion who's fighting to elevate the division, an all around fighter in Thunder Rosa, against a superb athlete who excelled in football and bodybuilding, a young upstart who's trying to get himself into the spotlight in Kamille. Their male counterparts fight on the opposite dynamic. Aldis is the champ, and Drake the would-be challenger. Eli Drake wants to take every occasion to prove he's worthy of a shot, so he takes it to Aldis. The champion, always a man of great tactics, tags in Kamille as soon as Eli Drake is gaining momentum, forcing him to tag Thunder Rosa in.</span></span><p><span style="font-family:System;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> It's an even match-up, but we see Drake gaining so advantage on Aldis numerous time, and the british always contains him by tagging Kamille in or rolling out of the ring. They hand Doug Williams the Crockett Cup and present the team, although reluctantly, with the NWA Tag Team Championship Belts. Latimer snatches his belt from Morton's hand, and the Wildcard, as always, has fury in his eyes. Morton takes offense to the move, and Latimer flips him the bird right in his face. Morton goes at Latimer but Williams get in the middle and seperate the two wrestlers. Latimer screams at the RnR Express to "get the f**k out of his ring", this belongs to Strictly Business. The RnR are really upset, but they did not come here to fight. They leave, and Latimer and Williams celebrate as the show ends.</span></span></p>

Episode 26 of NWA Powerrr will be the second "Super Powerrr", a special one hour and a half show with a lot of high stakes matches. We take a look at what will happen on this Super Episode.

    THE QUESTION MARK WILL SPEAK!

    aurAjvn.jpgtsgZtYi.jpg

    "KA-RA-TE!"

It's the only word that The Question Mark has really spoken since being introduces as Aron Stevens' "sensei". The Mongrovian Karate Black Belt Master has been a torn in every one of Stevens' opponent, including Trevor Murdock.

Two weeks ago, Stevens & Question Mark tried to cost Trevor Murdock his first round match in the Crockett Cup, but instead won him the match by DQ! Murdock's opponents, The Briscoe Brothers, have taken offense.

It is especially true for Redneck Kung-fu Aficionado Mark Briscoe, who issued a martial art challenge to the Question Mark last week!

On Super Powerrr, the Question Mark will answer the challenge! What will he have to say?

    THE CROCKETT CUP 2020!

Earlier in the year, the Crockett Cup was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But the tag team tradition lives on!

The come back of NWA Powerrr meant the comeback of the presitigious tournament. 8 tag teams from all over the world competed in the first round. Of all 8 teams, four emerged.

The veteran combination of NWA National Champion Trevor Murdock and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm.

The Stricly Business' duo of "Wildcard" Thom Latimer and the veteran Doug Williams.

The young UWN World Tag Team Champions: SoCal Distancing.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champions and wrestling veteran: Frankie Kazatian & Scorpio Sky from SCU.

On Super Powerrr, these teams will collide in the semi finals.

Winning teams will be facing each other in the Main Event to crown the 2020 Crockett Cup Winner! But this year, the Crockett Cup will not come alone! Following the vacancy of the NWA World Tag Team Championship by James Storm & Eli Drake, the winner of the 2020 Crockett Cup will also be awarded the NWA World Tag Team Championship!

Eli Drake has made his intentions clear: he wants to challenge for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. But Nick Aldis doesn't let anyone challenge him. He says he has a high standard of challenger and doesn't see Drake as valuable enough as a challenger to elevate the NWA World Championship.

Eli Drake has seen Nick Aldis' Strictly Business association go after him to prevent him from challenging. Mike Bennett turned his back on him and attacked him, then faced him in a loss.

Now Eli Drake is joining his force with NWA World Women's Champion Thunder Rosa to fight Nick Aldis and try to deserve a title shot.

Thunder Rosa, on her part, is our Women's Champion and a total badass who also fights in MMA. She tries to promote and elevate the NWA Women's division, most notably by defending the title all over the world and on National TV on AEW Tuesday Night Dynamite. She defeated former champion Alysin Kay in the last match of their trilogy two weeks ago.

After this title defense, Nick Aldis and Kamille ambushed her. Aldis told her that the NWA Woomen's World Champion has a duty of honor, representation and class that she doesn't have. He wishes Kamille to represent the NWA Women's Division.

Thunder Rosa, of course, is not one to be easily intimidated. She came back at Strictly Business and Kamille every time she could, most notably stopping Maria Kanellis from costing Eli Drake a match against Mike Bennett. Now, she's sick and tired of sneak attacks and plotting, she's coming for Strictly Business!

  13. EPISODE 25: THE CROCKETT CUP PART 2

    mkP154A.jpg

You weave your spell, your eyes they beckon me

Your lips they speak, lies and misery

    I know it's wrong, but I can't turn away

The flames draw near, they're telling me to stay

    Into the fire! I'm falling

    Into the fire! I'm falling

    INTO THE FIRE!

Dave Marquez and Joe Galli welcome us to this all new episode of NWA Powerrr: Episode 25 "The Crockett Cup Continues"! They recap last week's two first round matches, where Tim Storm & Trevor Murdock defeated the Briscoe by disqualification following a botched interference by Aron Stevens & The Question Mark. We also saw Strictly Business' Doug Williams & Thom Latimer beat Strong BJ with experience and trickiness. Tonight, SoCal Distancing clashes with The Pope & the new member of his Congregation Erick Stevens. And in the Main Event, AEW's Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky face "The Enterprise" of Brody King and Flip Gordon! Also tonight, Eli Drake will face Mike Bennett! But first we go straight to the stand with our boy Sean Mooney.

Mark Briscoe is with Sean Mooney, and "chicken" is maaaaad. Mooney tells us that he asked for this interview time, so what's on his mind? Briscoe delivers so gibberish about UFOs, conspiracies, robbery and how his brother and him should have advanced to round 2 of the Crockett Cup. He's mad at Aron Stevens, he's mad at Question Mark. He says as a fellow martial artist he deserves respect! They should have followed the code of honor! Mooney asks him if he's out for retribution. Mark says his brother is pissed and is currently fighting in bars and shooting birds with his riffle. But he, being a man of wisdom, has came out first... To challenge the Question Mark! He wants to have a fair one on one martial arts fight! A great finale, a clash of style between Mongrovian Karate and Redneck Kungfu! He wants to face the Master of the Death Touch, he, the Hillbilly Bruce Lee! "YA-TA!" Mooney is perplexed and stays professional: the challenge is issued!

Before the next match, Anthony Bennett comes out to do some commentary. After fighting The Pope to a time limit draw over the NWA World Television Championship, the young wrestler with a flat top says he's here to scout the competition. Because he WILL have a rematch for the title, and this time he will be the winer and the new champion.

    1. Social Distancing def. The Pope & Erick Stevens to advance to Round 2 of the Crockett Cup. The two teams were really different. "Uptown" Andy Brown and Adrian Quest have been opponents and teaming for the better part of the last 5 years, while The Pope is testing a new partnership with Erick Stevens, who he recently recruited in his Congregation in exchange for a spot in the tournament... and money, of course. The superiority of Socal Distancing's cooperation gives them the advantage. Individually, they are inferior to each of their opponent, but they use quick tag team work to get the upper hand. On the other side, Pope is treating Eric Stevens like a subordinate, and his arrogance cost them the match as he refuses to tag Stevens, leaving his partner to Socal Distancing's finishing move.

    vj1L4nr.jpgf1JF71d.jpg

Post match, Pope screams at Stevens for losing, blaming him. Unfortunately, it seems that Stevens is injured as he walks to the back holding his right shoulder. Meanwhile, at the commentary desk, Anthony Bennett says he will challenge for The Pope's NWA World Television championship again in the near future.

This vignette takes place in a dark room lighted by candles.

"DO you think there will be warnings for the endtime? Do you think the great deluge was announced? Disaster strikes first and strikes fast, without anyone knowing it is coming.

Disaster will strike the NWA. Not a surnatural force, not a mystical entity. No.

But the next big thing in tag team wrestling. The next big thing in ALL of wrestling is coming.

Paul Ellering is the mind behind tag team greatness. He created the Legion of Doom, the Road Warriors!

And now, he is bringing pain.

    And CHAOS.

They are coming, and he will lead them... Again.

Sean Mooney is with SCU and asks them what it is like to be in Atlanta GA for NWA Powerrr. Scorpio Sky is quick to answer: "MAN!... This is... The WORST TOWN... I've EVER... Been to!". This gets a huge pop. Kazarian reminds us that they are the first ever AEW World Tag Team Champions, they are a force to be reckon with. Thunder Rosa represented the NWA in AEW by defending her NWA World Women's Championship on Dynamite. Now, they take the AEW-NWA partnership a step further by competing in the Crockett Cup... And they plan on winning the whole thing. And first they have to take Vil... "The Enterprise". They're ready.

    2. SCU def. Flip Gordon & Brody King to advance to Round 2 of the Crockett Cup. The sheer competitivness of this match was A+. In what is the best match since the post-pandemic relaunch of the NWA, the two team fought for over 17 minutes and totally stole the show. We had a thing for every wrestling fan: Flip Gordon's aerial maneuvers, Kaz's technical wizardry, Brody King's strong style and Scorpio Sky sheer passion and never say die attitude. In the end, after a huge back and forth match, SCU won the whole thing with a double superplex on Brody King that shook the ring.

NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis walks out to the commentary desk. He greets Joe Galli and David Marquez, and announce he will be the special guest commentator for the Main Event. Marquez questions if he will interfere on behalf of his team mater Mike Bennett. Aldis just sips in his large Starbucks cup of coffee and smiles at him.

    __________

    3. Eli Drake def. Mike Bennett. There was looot of animosity in this match, following Mike Bennett's shenanigans and betrayal two weeks ago in the Main Event and subsequent alignment with Strictly Business. Lot of dirty brawling was involved, with the referee having to get in between the two men more often than not. They told a great story of two tough men fighting with something to prove. Eli Drake wants to prove he's a worthy challenger for Nick Aldis, while Mike Bennett's entire leitmotiv for his career in the NWA is proving himself. After twelve minutes, Eli Drake seems to have the match in the bag as he hits a huge spear that sends Mike Bennett flying. He goes for the pin, but...

    oZkTmli.jpg

Out comes Maria Kanellis! Mike Bennett's wife was in the crowd the whole time, dissimulated by her chirurgical mask! She distracts the referee, who's unable to count the pin. Drake is furious, breaks the pin, but out comes someone who's also sick of Strictly Business' shenanigans. For the second weeks in the row, out comes the NWA World Women's Champion, Thunder Rosa!

    y1rsWQT.jpg

Maria's wants nothing to do with the badass that is the Women's champion and quickly runs accross the ring. Meanwhile, in the ring, Bennett surprises Eli Drake with a roll up!... One, two... Drake reverses the roll up and grabs Bennett's legs, he transitions into a... King Lynn's Cloverleaf?! Eli Drake is copying the NWA World's Champion finishing move, in front of his eyes! At the commentary desk, Nick Aldias stays calm but is visibly angry, calling Drake "disrespectful". Mike Bennett resists as much as he can, but he has no choice but to tap out.

    y1rsWQT.jpg

NWA World Women's Champion Thunder Rosa get in the ring and takes the microphone. She says Kamille has laid down a challenge for her. He attacked her from behind after a distraction from Nick Aldis. Last week, Rosa paid Kamille back by preventing her from interfering in the Main Event. Tonight, another Main Event was nearly ruined by Stritcly Business' shenanigans and disregard for the rules. Rosa wants to fight for the prestige of NWA Powerrr and the glory of the NWA. Next week, we have a Super Powerrr for the semi finales and finals of the Crockett Cup. Let's add another tag team match to this incredible show... She wants to face Kamille... AND Nick Aldis... WITH ELI DRAKE AS HER TAG TEAM PARTNER!

    4ZvcZ9g.jpg

"Yeah?!... YEAH?!... WELL... HELL YEAH! I'll be your partner! AND Nick Aldis, be sure that if I pin you, I WILL be your next challenger!"
