I thrive on feedbacks and every comment is greatly appreciated. Some of you almost scored perfect scores! The behind the scenes are what might have mislead you. Speaking of QUICK NOTE ON THE ROSTER As some of you gussed, Rey Misterio has been snatched by AAA. Konnan was only here on a loan, but he might pop back. Scorpio is out too, having been signed by the WCW. I have decided to parts ways with Woman, as she was extremely expensive of a non wrestler. Raven is also out... Signed by WCW on the very first week of this game. I cheated a little and added a month to his contract, because I really wanted to end Raven/Dreamer properly, and I feel like it is a good send off, REALLY similar to the Wrestlepalooza 96 one that occured in real life. Also out are: Jason (written off by the flaming table spot, he was fun but really worthless), Pitbull Gary Wolfe, Chubby & Dances With Dudley, Chad Austin and Damien Stone (love Little Guido but he still needs to learn) In and having already make their debuts: Homicide, Balls Mahoney, Yoshihiro Tajiri (see: House Party build up post) and WWF enhancement talent on a development deal: Matt & Jeff Hardy! Also to note: Terry Funk has taken 2 proteges under his wing, and they are quite interesting: Pitbull Anthony Durante aka Crusher Durante (hence why I kept him, I orginally wanted the Pitbulls to leave after the Eliminators match) and newcomer Homicide! This promises to be interesting
  2. <div style="margin:auto;width:700px;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);padding:25px;color:rgb(29, 28, 34);text-align:justify;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;font-size:14px;line-height:normal;border:16px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"> HOUSE PARTY 1996 ✗ The show begins with Rob Van Dam on the microphone. He pissed about having to "curtain jerk" with notable "jobber" Stevie Richards. Van Dam says he's treated better in Japan and he understands why Sabu no showed ECW last year to wrestle for Giant Baba's promotion. Van Dam wants another shot at the ECW World Television Championship that Sabu holds. 1. Our opening contest is a surprisingly open contest. Stevie Richards is more focused and competitive than ever and RVD is taken aback at his opponent's skills. Despite this open match going for ten minutes, Van Dam dodges a Stevie Kick and hits a spinning wheel kick, then grabs a chair and hits Sabu's own Arabian Facebuster (chair assisted leg drop) for the win! 2. The Dudleyz are in! Bubba Ray & Dudley Dudley, accompaniated by Big Dick, Sign Guy, Dances With and Chubby, are making their way to the ring. They face Axl Rotten and newcomer Ballz Mahoney who make their entrance with chairs! It's a real overbook mayhem with outside interference, chairshots and wild brawls. Ballz surprises the crowd when he chain wrestles Bubba, showing us his amateur wrestler background. In the end, head of the family Dudley Dudley gets hit by stero chairshots from his opponents who follow with a double DDT for the victory. ✗ Post match, Bubba Ray is PISSED at his older brother and head of the family taking the pinfall. He beartes him and leaves... The whole family seems in doubt, but they follow Bubba and leave Dudley Dudley alone. Are we about to witness a changing of leadership in the Dudley Family? 3. Dr. Death Steve Williams makes his entrance to a thunderous ovation. Once in the ring, he gets streamers thrown at him. Then... It's Taz.. It's a brutal match, where no chairs or typical ECW's chaos is seen. Just a highly competitive, King's Road Style match. They hit each others with suplexes, powermoves, lariats and so on. Williams have the height advantage, but Taz is fearless and demonstrates the knowledge of an array of Suplexes that amazes everyone. "The man of a 100 Suplexes!" -Bill Alfonso. After a grueling twenty minute contest, Steve Williams is about to hit a powerbomb, but Taz pushes him into the rope... Lariat from Taz! Dr. Death is down, Taz makes the pin... WILLIAMS IMMEDIATELY KICK OUT! "That's strong style spirit right here!" -Joey Styles. Taz can't believe his eyes as Dr. Death pummels him with right hands, runs to the rope, and... BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX FROM TAZ! DR. DEATH WENT FLYIN! Taz crawls towards him... Tazmission! The kata-ha-jime! Williams goes numb and loses consciousness, awarding Taz the victory. ✗ Taz is EXHAUSTED! He needs help from manager Bill Alfonso to get back up to his feet and walk to the back, very slowly. This match was won but took a toll on Taz. 4. Following contest is a Mexican Death Match! The Eliminators (sans Jason who is still out after going through a flaming table) faces Hallowen & Damian 666. This match is straight up ugly. Tables, chairs, Perry Saturn with a goddamn piñata rolled in barbed wire... It's chaos. This wild mayhem only ends when The Eliminators get payback... By putting Hallowen throught a flaming table! This pandemonium ends with a Total Elimination. ✗ "Sandman! After I'm done beating you, imma take your wife. 2 Cold needs 2 Women for warm his bed!" - 2 Cold Scorpio. Of course, Sandman comes rushing out and cane the f*ck out of him. 5. 2 Cold & Woman take on Sandman & wife Lori. Of course, the women are not wrestlers and their involvement in this match is kept simple and to the point. They do engage in a catfight that sparks the light in the crazed ECW fans' eyes. The match is quite short and tells a straightforward story: 2 Cold is the superior athlete, but Sandman is filled with rage and it allows him to overcome the odds and win the match. ✗ Sandman, having just won, tries to get his hands on Woman and gets some revenge. But his former walet runs away and takes a microphone. "What is this place where you encourage man on woman violence?! I'm a high class lady, not a filthy whore like your wife! Enjoy marital life and sex once a moth Sandman, BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN! I QUIT!". Just like that, Woman is storming out of ECW while Sandman and Lori kiss... And drink beer... An happy ending in ECW? 6. The Gangstaz enter with a cart full of weapons. Chairs, a guitar, a kitchen sink, a Stop sign, some more chairs... Meanwhile, Public Enemy DRAG poor Mikey Whipwreck into the match and it is on. A pure hardcore brawl, where the two team have obvious weak links. Mikey gets taken down by the Gangstaz multiple time, while 19 years old rookie Homicide has a tough time fighting either Rocco Rock or Johnny Grunge. The star of the match is New Jack, who seems to simply not feel pain and fights like a mad dog. He finally gets hit by a Whippersnapper, then a Drive By, and sees a dozen of chairs get thrown at him by his opponents. Whil New Jack is litteraly buried under a stockpile of chairs, Public Enemy hit the Drive By on Mustafa for the win! ✗ "Gangstaz! Now that we showed you who Public Enemy are, get ready... Because we're gonna get OUR tag team championship back!" - Rocco Rock 7. Sabu defends the ECW World Television Championship against Crusher Durante who's managed by his "mistress" Francine. The former Pitbull #2 takes the advantage early on with mauling attacks, using his superior strength. But the suicidal, genocidal, homicidal death-defying Sabu brings chairs into the fray and answers with a flurry of demented offense. Using high flying daunting moves, Sabu takes back the control of the match. Despite an interference by Francine, who gets shoved, Sabu wins after a moonsault throught a table. EC-Dub! EC-Dub! ✗ It all comes to this. Tommy Dreamer. Raven. The war ends tonight in an I Quit match. Loser Leaves ECW. We see clips of their rivalry and the last promos of Raven & Dreamer that were featured on ECW Pulp Fiction promos. This epic rivalry concludes now. 8. Tommy Dreamer and Raven are waging an all out war on each others. Physical violence, callbacks to their previous encounters, Raven's sadisticness, Dreeamer's heart. This is the ultimate battle between good and evil. After few minutes of proper brawling, weapons get introduced. Soon, the two blood rivals are wearing a crimson mask made of their own blood. At one point in the match, untie one of his boot and take the laces to choke Dreamer! He chokes him out, telling him that he'll either quit or die... But Beulah McGuillicutty screams at him to stop and tries to interject, getting pushed away! Dreamer jumps on the occasion and hits Raven with a low blow. Later in the match, Raven grabs some handcuffs and ties Dreamer's hands behind his back. He's powerless, and Raven hits him with a chair, again and again. He's unhinged, psychotic, he doesn't even seem to win the match anyway... But Dreamer doesn't quit. As Beulah interjects again, Raven pushes her to the ground. That's when Stevie Richards comes out from the back. He looks at the man who was his mentor, and... STEVIE KICK! Richards finally turned his back on Raven! Stevie leaves, and Raven & Dreamer are both down. Beulah doesn't know which one to chose as they slowly rise... Raven tries a spear, but Dreamer catches him. With his hands tied behind his back, he grabs Raven's neck under his elbow and... Dreamer DDT! Dreamer DDT! Tommy manages to make his feet go behind the cuffs, and he's still tied but now his hands are in front of him. Bloodied, on the ground, HE CHOKES RAVEN WITH THE HANDCUFFS! Raven is in agony, and referee Jim Molineaux approaches.... "I QUIT! I QUIT!" ✗ TOMMY DREAMER HAS FINALLY DEFEATED RAVEN! HE DISPATCHED HIS RIVAL ONCE AND FOR ALL! The crowd erupts, it's a true moment of bliss in Philadelphia. As the referee unlocks Dreamer from the cuffs, Raven slowly makes his way back to this feet, limping, coughing, beaten and devastated. He goes to leave the ring but turns to Beulah McGuillicutty... He motions to her "come!"... But she refuses! Raven goes to her, grabs her by her hair, violently pulling her towards him... Dreamer interject, Dreamer DDT!. Tommy and Beulah looks at each others... AND KISS! The rowdy, vicious ECW fans are not one to be emotionally moved, but they roar like thunder at this sight. Tommy Dreamer and Beulah McGuillicutty, together. That's when the light go off. Wait... The show isn't over yet, is it? "Ladies and gentlemen, I've been told that Sabu has already left the arena, so that's not him." - Joey Styles. "We are facing technical difficulties, please bear with us.". ... Ah, the lights are finally back on. JIM CORNETTE AND THE HEAVENLY BODIES ✗ "THIS ENTIRE ARENA COULD HAVE BEEN MADE OUT OF TOILET PAPER, BECAUSE ALL I SEE HERE IS SH*IT! YOU HERE ME, THIS IS NOT WRESTLING, THIS IS SH*T! WE MIGHT CALL THIS ECW, EXTREMELY CRAPPY WRESTLING!" - Jim Cornette. The crowd is in shock, and The Heavenly Bodies, Dr. Tom & Jimmy Del Ray jump at Tommy Dreamer! Dreamer's been almost beatn to death, there is nothing he can do as the heavenly Bodies absolutely beat him up. Meanwhile, Jim Cornette shouts insults, calling the ECW fans "inbreds", Beulah McGuillicutty "a slut" and the ECW wrestlers "scum". Thank god, there is someone watching after Tommy Dreamer. Just the sight of Terry Funk waving a chair like a madman is enough to make the trio run away from the ring. The Funker has save Tommy Dreamer, but a whole new story seem to beging in front of our eyes. 9. This is our main event! After a quick cut to Joey Styles commenting what we just saw and Tommy Dreamer getting some medical help, Steve Austin makes his entrance for his title defense against the Funker. This is an all time classic, a psychological wrestling master piece. The two men gel particularly well and deliver a great match. They seem evenly matched, with Austin's superior athletic abilities being compensated by Terry Funk's veteran experience. This is a straight up wrestling match that doesn't involve any weapon, and a single sequence outside of the ring where Austin hits a back body drop on Funk. As the match is drawing close to the thirty minute mark, Terry Funk attempts to go for his Drop Toe Hold, but Austin reverses in a small package! One, two... Funk reverses it, one, two, thre... Austin kicks out! Funk almost had him! A furious Austin lets out a smile, he goes for a Texas Piledriver... And hits it! One, two, three! AND STILL! ✗ Steve Austin is STILL your ECW World Champion! As the fans cheer, Austin crawls to the ropes and picks himself up. He looks at Terry Funk, badly beaten. The Funker glances at him... And gives him a nod. Respect is earned. <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> QUICK RESULTS: 1 ✗ Rob Van Dam def. Stevie Richards 2 ✗ Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney def. With colossal clashes awaiting to happen, let's run down the card and the events that led to this. ECW World Heayvweight Championship: Steve Austin © vs. Terry Funk ECW World Heavyweight Champion Steve Austin triumphed, sending Mick Foley packing to WCW, on ECW Holiday Hell. The "Superstar" grew more and more arrogant on following episodes of ECW Hardcore TV, proclaiming the ECW roster to be beneath him and taking on any comers. On the first ECW Hardcore TV of 1996, he decided to take the colour commentary role and insulted everyone. One of the people he insulted was Terry Funk, who defeated Rob Van Dam in the main event. During this match, Austin commented that Terry Funk was an "older, shittier" version of Mick Foley. The Funker didn't take that comment lightly. He called out Austin on the very next episode, and told him that he faced tougher and bitter competition back when Austin was STILL "breast feeded off Arn Anderson's nipple in WCW". He proclaimed he could take down Austin anytime, anywhere. The two men seemed destined to a clash of monstruous proportion. Austin answered on next episode that he used to respect the Funker. Back when he was NWA World Champion, back when he was wrestling classics. Back when he went to Japan and taught Texas Strong Style to the Japanese. Austin claimed that Funk was no longer a superstar, but that he became a stuntman in order to try to stay relevant. The two men came face to face in a brutal clash following week. Steve Austin defeated Rob Van Dam in the main event, with Terry Funk on commentary making remarks about Austin "still being a young boy". Post match, the two came face to face and exchanged words... Before engaging in a brawl. This wild melee spilled out into the crowd and to the concession stand, where they brawled with food, with a nearby trashcan, and Steve Austin even threw a fan at Steve Austin! The wild chaotic brawl continued until the show went off the air without a conclusion. On the last Hardcore TV before House Party, Terry Funk & Steve Austin agreed on a title match at the event.. Terry Funk promised that if Steve Austin beat him, he would shake his hand and acknowledge that he's the better man. Austin answered that if Terry Funk wins, Austinj will personally strap the belt around his waist... But that won't happen. Can Steve Austin cement his spot at the very top of ECW by defeating living legend and former world champion Terry Funk? Or does the Funker have one last run inside him? I Quit Match - Loser Leaves ECW Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven The war which began years ago in a summer camp is coming to an end. Tommy Dreamer and Raven have been waging war on each other throughout 1995 in ECW. They've had brawls, they've had psychological warfare, they tried to kill each others. At Holiday Hell, Dreamer finally achieved the unthinkable: he pinned Raven. But it was in a tag team match, and many pointed that Tommy's partner Steve Williams did the heavy lifting in said match. Having tasted victory, Tommy Dreamer wants it to end. On the last Hardcore TV of 1995, he told us his new year's resolution: end it all. Rememoring the history between him and Raven, he vowed to finish this war. The only way according to him was that one of them leave ECW. Following week, Raven & Stevie Richards faced Public Enemy in a high stakes tag team match. They lost that match after Richards accidentally Stevie Kicked Raven. After the match, Raven berated Richards, slapped him in the face and insulted him. This brought out Tommy Dreamer who engaged in a brawl with Raven. The two men jumped at each others' throat. In the scuffle, Raven hit his valet and childhood love Beulah McGuillicutty with an elbow. Dreamer sent Raven to outside the ring and attended to the fallen Beulah, drawing the ire of Raven who decided to walk off. Next week, a vignette showed Raven screaming at his Flock. He beat down The Blue Meanie in a childhood park, by night. He insulted Stevie Richards ans Beulah McGuillicutty, calling them worthless. He order Richards to beat Dreamer next week. The singles match didn't go according to the plan, as Tommy Dreamer defeated Stevie Richards with a Dreamer DDT. Post match, Dreamer shook Richards' hand and whispered to him. Raven ordered Richards to leave the ring with him... Byt Richards walked out on him, with the Blue Meanie. This led to another brawl with Dreamer which Raven won after hitting him with a Raven's Effet DDT outside of the ring. Raven grew more and more possessive and abusive of Beulah McGuillicutty, even coming to the ring handcuffer to her. He handcuffed her to the ring post during his match with Axl Rotten that he won. This brought out Dreamer who tried to unlock Beulah. The two men engaged in yet another brawl, and the scuffle once against stroke down Beulah. Raven once again took the advantage of Dreamer and threw him into the guardrails before unlocking Beulah, picking her up and taking her to the back.. In a demented vignette, Raven challenged Dreamer to an I Quit Match... Loser Leaves ECW. He promised that he will end Dreamer and exert revenge for everything that Dreamer did back when they were teenagers. "You won't take Beulah from me. You rejected her when she was a fat ugly kid back when we were teenagers. You won't have her now. She's mine.". Tommy Dreamer's answer was short: on the last Hardcore TV before House Party, Joey Styles asked him about his answer. "I will destroy Raven.". The blood feuded that helped shape ECW is coming to an end! Will the nihilistic Raven conquer? Will ECW's hero Tommy Dreamer slay his personal tormentor? It will only end when on of them say "I Quit". Too Cold Scorpio & Woman vs. The Sandman & Lori Woman claims she turned on The Sandman because he is "a no good, useless drunk". Siding with Too Cold Scorpio, she told the ECW fans that The Sandman owed her massive amount of money from all the bail she had to pay because he got involded in brawls and got caught driving while drunk. The two new allies attacked Sandman weeks after week, with two Hardcore TV episodes in a row ending with Sandman being beaten down. Three times weren't the charm thought. Sandman opened next show calling them out and brawled with Scorpio. Woman got into the scuffle, but a woman from the crowd jumped him... Lori Fullington! Previously known as Peaches, Sandman's wife came to his aid and they fought back Scorpio & Woman. The two embraced in the middle of the ring and Lori opened up a can of beer for her husband. The history runs deep here, as Sandman rejected his wife back in 1994. During his fake retirement ceremony in late 1994, where he pretended to be blind, Sandman was offered a reconciliation offer by Peaches... Who got caned by Woman. This time, Lori seems to have reconciled with Sandman! On the next show, Sandman & Lori explained that everything wrong in their relationship was because of Woman. She manipulated Sandman into thinking his wife was having an affair with Tommy Cairo in 1994. She caned her. She turned them against each other. But one thing keeps them together: their son Tyler. The two renewed their vows and make a new one: to make Woman (and Scorpio) pay. They will not take their money, they will not screw with their marriage again. What followed was weeks of Scorpio & Woman mocking Lori & Sandman. Scorpio claimed that everyone in ECW "had a go" at Peaches, leading to one of the most brutal beatdown we ever saw on Hardcore TV, only ending when Woman called the police and had Sandman arrested, while Scorpio was half dead on the ground. Lori pailed the bail, and Sandman made a promise: this will come to an end. He challenged Scorpio to a match... And Lori added that she wanted to beat Woman for a long time, inserting herself in what was now a tag match. Will love prevail as reconciled husband and wife The Sandman and Lori face Woman & Scorpio? Or will the self proclaimed "most bankable act in ECW" Woman & Scorpio get the last laugh? Taz vs. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams Taz's main target is still Sabu. But while waiting for the match with Sabu that he's not having, he wants to deal with Dr. Death. Furious at the former AJPW Triple Crown Champion involvement in his tag team match at Holiday Hell, Taz vowed to beat him up and prove he was the best. Steve Williams is a man of a few words. He said he already beat Taz, even if he didn't pin him, but he was ok for a singles match. Williams - often appearing for AJPW during ECW Hardcore TV - said that Taz didn't impress him, and he chewed out better men like Jumbo Tsuruta or Stan Hansen. Taz was PISSED that somebody could even question the fact that he was the better man. He continued his streak of absolutely destroying other wrestlers :WWF enhancement talent for hired Jeff Hardy, his brother Matt, then BOTH in a handicap match, japanese imports Yoshihiro Tajiri and FMW Mr. Pogo. Each time, his words was the same: "bring me Sabu". No Sabu? "Bring me Dr. Death". Irrate at Sabu & Williams having what he felt was preferential treatment by Paul E., being allowed to miss tapings due to japanese commitment, he also insulted ECW's boss. In a memorable promo off between Paul Heyman & Bill Alfonso, the two insulted each other like mad men. Heyman said Sabu was above Taz and that he won't have the match. Alfonso called Sabu "Heyman's little pet bitch", and Heyman said that Taz will face the wrath of Dr. Death at House Party... But that he also was a bitch. This brought out Taz who got threatening towards Paul E. Of course, his brought out Paul's enforcer 911... Who once again got suplexed on his head by Taz. Two of the toughest wrestlers on earth collided! The man of 100 Suplexes faces Dr. Death, who will prevail? Elsewhere on the card.. ✗ The Gangstaz are growing in numbers! With the help of new member Homicide, New Jack & Mustafa defeated Public Enemy for win the ECW World Tag Team Championship. This led to even more brutality between the two teams. Being outnumbered by "cowadly tactics", Public Enemy dragged him reluctant Mikey Whipwreck in the fray! Teaching him to "be a man", the Public Enemy enlisted him in their challenge. 3 on 3, anything goes, this saturday at House Party! ✗ Mexico is coming for the Eliminators and Jason Knight! That's the promise Konnan made. Knight spent weeks laughing at this threat... Until two luchadores attacked him on an episode of Hardcore TV which the Eliminators missed. The two men Damian 666 and Halloween, beat the hell out of him, and sent him thought a damn flaming table! With Jason Knight out, the Eliminators face the wrath of Mexico as they face Halloween and Damian 666 in a Mexican Death Match! ✗ Sabu is still defending his ECW World Television Championship against a string of challengers, most of them coming from outside companies such as FMW's Masato Tanaka or Border City Wrestling's Scott D'Amore. Still not having spoken a single word (or answered Taz's challenges), the mut, psychotic, death-defying Sabu faces Crusher Durante, who has a new maniac personality under the guidance of "mistress" Francine. ✗ Bubba Ray Dudley has finally beaten someone! After his fluky defeat of Axl Rotten, "Buh-Buh" grew more and more confident (and cocky), finally conquering his stuttering. Axl Rotten brought back up to face the Dudley Family, as debuting Balls Mahoney will tag with him to face Bubba and head of the family Dudley Dudley. ✗ Stevie Richards has had a rough few months. He got beaten by Terry Funk (but seemingly got his approval?), got humilated again and again by Raven, got beaten by Tommy Dreamer... And finally broke free from unhinged leader Raven. He's facing ECW newcomer Rob Van Dam, fresh of fantastic matchs with Sabu (Holiday Hell) and Steve Austin (second Hardcore TV of january 1996). The cocky RVD does not see young Stevie Richards as a serious foe, and has called him "a comedy act". These two will open the night at House Party. ✗ A string of newcomers are fighting on ECW TV. Jeff Hardy & []Matt Hardy[/b], two young baby faced WWF's loaned wrestlers debuted. Althought they're getting beaten at every turn and are not featured on the event, they are making waves with their unwillingness to stay down. Althought their clean cut act doesn't sit well with the rabid ECW fanbase, their never say die attitude has begun to earn them some favours. </div> <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> PREDICTION KEY: 1 ✗ Rob Van Dam vs. Stevie Richards 2 ✗ Alx Rotten & Balls Mahoney vs. Bubba Ray & Dudley Dudley 3 ✗ Taz /w. TOMMY DREAMER ✗ People think it's over. They say "Tommy... You finally pinned Raven. You finally defeated the man you could never beat. You finally put the rivalry to rest"... But it's not over. It will never be over. What started in a summer camp when we were teenagers cannot be ended by a pinfall. Whatismore, I didn't defeated Raven. I can't say I slayed him all by myself. I was teaming with one of the baddest man on the planet, DOCTOR DEATH, Steve Williams!... And I thank him for helping me. TOMMY DREAMER ✗ But this is my war. I need to fight it all by myself. I need to win it all by myself. Raven... You want revenge for something that happened fifteen years ago. You want to torture me for being a young stupid jock teenager. Was it my fault that you were an outcast? Was it my fault that you hated everyone?!... And then, you brought Beulah in. Yeah you're right, I rejected her!... I rejected the fat chick because I was stupid. I rejected her because I was a stupid teenager, and all I can love was myself. I rejected her because deep down... Well let's be honest, I didn't love myself, I HATED MYSELF!... But now, i'm my own man Raven. I'm not a teenager anymore. I'm a grown ass man. I fight my own fight,... Do you? TOMMY DREAMER ✗ Since you arrived in ECW, you are focus on making me pay for being a jerk when I was fourteen. You didn't grow up. You're still a captive of the tormented child you were. So instead of taking the issue to a psychiatrist, you chose violence. You chose to bring in Beulah and use her. You used Stevie Richards. You used the Dudley Boyz. You manipulated Cactus Jack to turn on me. When does it end? I'll tell you. TOMMY DREAMER ✗ It ends when one of us quits. It ends when one of us leaves forever. It ends in blood and pain. That is a funny nickname. How à propos is it of Steve Williams to take the nickname Doctor Death, when he is not killing anybody?... Think about it. Steve Williams cannot kill Raven. He put me down, right. He battered me, he exhausted me until good old Tommy Dreamer could benefit from his hard work and pin me. Dr. Death did not kill me, because nothing can kill Raven. Even the excruciating pain of my childhood did not kill me. Even the wars i have had with Tommy Dreamer did not kill me. RAVEN ✗ Dreamer didn't kill me, as a matter of fact he did not even beat me. This illusive pinfall was a fluke. Without Steve Williams, Tommy Dreamer would have been victimised, beaten like a stray dog, and left for dead. Tommy Dreamer cannot defeat me. And he knows it. I own his mind. The only time Tommy Dreamer could do something against me was back when we were children. Back when he was the golden boy, the captain of the teenage football team, and I was the outcast, I was the loser. I have taken all that pain and anguish and turn it into my biggest strength. Now I have Beulah, the girl he rejected, the girl I have loved since I was old enough to remember, by my side. Nothing can stop me. RAVEN ✗ Nothing can stop me, yet Tommy Dreamer tries. He tries to stop the inexorable pain and suffering that I am bringing to ECW. He tries to stop me from opening the eyes of people such as Stevie Richards. I can understand it. That is self preservation. Because if I have my way, my ultimate goal is still the same: vengeance. Vengeance against this society that did me wrong. Vengeance against every avatar of this agonizing civillisation. Vengeance against him. RAVEN ✗ Tommy Dreamer... I have promised enough suffering. I have dealt enough pain. That is not enough. I have realized that you and I are like an old married couple. Our fate are intertwined... It doesn't end... Until death do us part. RAVEN ✗ Quoth the Raven... Nevermore. </div>

  10. PREDICTION RESULTS: Sooo it was the Doctor!! A little early comparing to real life, but he was available (Brian Pillman unfortunately wasn't, Brian Lee was a serious option but I feel works better as a heel, and as for Shane Douglas... he's just under a ppa deal with WWF so we'll see ) Thanks everybody for your predictions, i think i've never had a diary with that much following, it's a real pleasure. As for the results: GooverDan: 4/9 (unfortunately, Lynn is under a written deal with WCW as the dreadful Mr. JL... But i'd like to have him very much) SHaynes23: 5/9 (you want Shane Douglas to return AND lose? Very evil) JamesTheAnimator: 5/9 (the only one to predict a Scorpio win if i'm not wrong!) ElectricX: 5/9 (almost put Mikey Whipwreck there, but I felt being an underdog Dreamer wouldn't have chosen him... Although that sucks that I could find a spot for him on the card. That'll change tho) Ippon: 7/9 (welcome aboard! And thanks for the kind words. I've been on a Pulp Fiction 96 promos spree myself and about to review some shows for this time period) Dalton: 5/9 (I ALMOST had RVD win in the first match thanks to Taz shenanigans... But I want to slow burn Sabu/Taz and escape any physical confrontations for now) DHK1989: 4/9 (another Mikey supporter here!) KyTeran: 5/9 (damn it, did I miss something and should have put Mikey with Tommy?!) Blodyxe: 5/9 (ahhhh Brian Lee... Would have been a fun twist regarding to real life history. Head of the family Dudley Dudley tells Bubba he better no f*ck up tonight. To be sure that this match goes right and that his opponent Axl Rotten doesn't go all chair swinging madness, Dudley Dudley asked Bill Alfonso to be the referee! Fonzie comes out under huges boos. 1. In our opening contest, a surprisingly good match between Axl Rotten and Bubba Ray Dudley turns ugly when the two men begin to brawl on the outside. That's when Big Dick attacks Axl, with Bill Alfonso... Saying nothing? Crooked ref Alfonso struck again, as he can be seen making huge wink towards Dudley Dudley who winks backs. After taking a double chokeslam on the outside, Axl Rotten gets counted out, giving Bubba the win. ✗ The crowd is furious, Axl was robbed! Bubba celebrates like he won the Superbowl, and begins a dance with little brothers Chubby and Dances With.. Who's disguised as Santa Claus! But you ECW fans hate Santa, so who they gonna call? 911! The vigilante of ECW marches down to the ring: Chubby gets chokeslamed, Dances with gets chokeslamed, Bubba gets chokeslamed, everybody dies! Dudley Dudley launches his brother Big Dick towards 911 and the two giants collides with clobbering blows. 911 gets the upperhand, CHOKESLAM! Dudley Dudley bails out, and that leaves poor Bill Alfonso in front of the chokeslaming giant... But you know how it goes now, to get to Fonzie, get throught Taz! Taz slides in the ring behind 911 and turns him around,... Chokeslam! Taz is down! But wait... He IMMEDIATELY get backs up, no selling the chokeslam. Half Nelson suplex! He drops the giant on his head! ✗ Taz gets the microphone and call for Sabu. "Get out here you piece of sh*t! Face me!" Of course, Sabu doesn't answer, leaving Taz furious. But Tommy Dreamer gets out. The two men are taking a headstart on their tag match and begin to brawl! This brings out Raven who takes on Dreamer. It's a two on one assault! I thought Dreamer had a partner! But wait!... Lights go out... They come back, and Dreamer's not alone in the ring... THE DOCTOR'S IN! DOCTOR DEATH STEVE WILLIAMS IS HERE! 2. Dr. Death Steve Williams is Tommy Dreamer's christmas tag team partner to take on Raven and Taz! This big bad ass goes right after Taz and we get a battle of the brutes. This tag match descends into chaos, with Dreamer & Raven trading brutal shots and Williams & Taz wrestling an UWFi shoot style match. The dancing partner sometimes intertwinds, with Dreamer getting a measure of revenge by hitting Taz with a piledriver on the outside and Raven boucing off the former AJPW Triple Crown Champion. In the end, Taz tags out to Raven and rolls out of the ring, leaving him to the wrath of Williams who hits him with a powerslam before tagging in Dreamer who hits the DDT. One, two... HE DID IT! TOMMY DREAMER HAS FINALLY PINNED HIS CHILDHOOD RIVAL RAVEN! ✗ As soon as the match is over, Tommy Dreamer basks in triumph. He did it, he finally pinned Raven. Dr. Death shakes in hand and leaves the ring, The Doctor is out. 3. With the ECW World Tag Team Championship on the line, it's an all out war between champions Public Enemy and The Gangstaz. This war rages on in ring, outside the ring, even in the crowd! Everything is legal in this tag war, with weapons getting brought in as soon as the bell rings. The two team seems evenly matched, but New Jack's lust for violence might be unmatch as he makes Johnny Grunge bleed with a cheese gratter! The match gets brought back to the ring, and Mustafa is hit by the Drive By. The Public Enemy might be about to win there, but... A hooded figure slides into the ring and hits Rocco Rock with a wrench in the back of the head! The interference allows New Jack to hit his Gangsta's Paradise for the win... AND NEW CHAMPION! ✗ "ECW fans, F*CK YOU!" - New Jack. The Gangstaz triumph, and New Jack introduces us to the third member of their posse, the young pup, the enraged dog... Nelson Erazo... But you can call him Homicide! 4. The Dog Collars are locked, and these two former teammates are about to go to war! Pitbull Gary Wolfe takes on Crusher Durante, with Francine at ringside in neither man's corner! It's a short and chaotic affair. This hoss fight makes good use of the chain, especially Durante. Wolfe seems reluctant to be too violent with his friend, but Crusher has no remorse. Encouraged by Francine to destroy Wolfe, he finishes the match by hitting a powerbomb from the top turnbuckle for the win. After the match, Crusher Durante leaves with Francine who leads him by the dog collar. 5. If Rey Misterio Jr. & Konnan lose this match... They'll be sent back to Mexico by Jason! But Jason Knights' team The Eliminators better not lose, otherwise he'll have to spend a whole week in the slums of Tijuana... Strange stipulation, right? This tag match is one of the ages. Rey Misterio is head and shoulders above everyone, his high flying style dazzling the audience. Konnan also seems individually better than each of his opponents. What makes The Eliminators' strenght is their team work. Their unmatched timing and cohesion allows them to go toe to toe with two of Mexico's best. Things almost go south for them when Rey hits a 619 on Grunge, but Jason distracts him allowing for the Eliminators to hit their always brutal looking Total Eliminatio for the win! ✗ Jason waves goodbye at Rey Misterio Jr. & Konnan as his team laughs. On his way out, Konnan grabs a microphone. "Hey, esse. Good job. Good job. You're maybe done with Rey & me, but that's ok, we'll go back to Mexico to make proper huge money!... But for you and your two boyz... There will be revenge. I'm gonna make phone calls. Mexico is comin' for you, perros!". 6. Enter the Sandman! The beer drinking, cigarette waving singapour waving hardcore wrestling Sandman is in the place, with Woman in his corner, as he faces former tag partner 2 Cold Scorpio. It's a clash of styles as the extremist faces the high flyer. 2 Cold always gets the upper hand when it comes to wrestling, but this is ECW, so Sandman uses his singapour cane to take back the advantage everytime. He busts Scorpio open with the cane, hitting him so hard the thing breaks in half! As the crowd chants "holy sh*t", Sandman motions to his valet to send him another cane. Woman takes her time, she gets the cane, throws it... Over Sandman and into Scorpio's hands! What the hell? Sandman is shocked as Woman smiles, and Scorpio smashes him in the balls like a pro golfer, then hits his Tumbleweed for the win! ✗ As Sandman is in pain, Woman joins Scorpio in the ring. They crack a beer open and pour it over the Sandman before leaving together. What a Jezabel! 7. That new kid, Rob Van Dam? Yeah, he's GOOD! He's damn arrogant, pointing to himself, and facing Sabu is not gonna make you a fan favourite. But that match absolutely rocks, and Van Dam can totally win Sabu's ECW World TV title according to the competitiveness of the match. There's chairs thrown at each other, high flying crazy moves, and of course - because this is a Sabu match - a table! Sabu hits his Arabian Facebuster, with a chair, onto RVD, through a table, and he gets the win to keep his championship. ✗ Bill Alfonso comes out. "SABU! TAZ IS COMIN' FOR YOU DADDY! ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE! FACE THE MACHINE! FACE THE WRATH OF TAZ!" Fonzie whistles in Sabu's face... But Sabu just rolls out of the ring and leaves. 8. Stevie Richards doesn't want to face Terry Funk! He's afraid and offers Funk to lay down for him... Funk answers with a fist drop to the head! Funk clobbers Richards all over the ring, forcing the kid to strike back. Of course, he is no match for the legendary Funker. Despite giving everything he has, Richards gets droppend on his head with de Texas Piledriver and Terry Funk wins easily. ✗ As the bell rings, Terry Funk raises his hand. Stevie's sidekick The Blue Meanie helps Richards to his feet. A semi-unconscious Richards gets scared when Funk approaches him... But the Funker only delivers a swift taps on his head and mutters: "good job kid". 9. This is our main event! Has an ECW Match ever had such high stakes? If Mick Foley wins, he'll take the World Championship to WCW. If Steve Austin wins, he promises to usher in a new era for ECW. Something's gonna give! Foley wants to have a proper technical match and this is more what fans have been used to with Dean Malenko & Eddie Guerrero than the hardcore affairs you could except. The two men wrestle on the ground and on their feet... Until Austin gets sick of it. "Superstar" begins to brawl, and the match gets ugly. No weapon is used, but the sheer physicality of the contest is something to behold. They never leave the ring nor shed a drop of blood, but this is intense. At one point, Foley drops Austin on his head with a Piledriver... But it's a nearfall! The fans are on the edge of their seats, and Foley attempts his Double Arm DDT, only to get countered into a reverse atomic drop. He gets picked up, and driven throat first into the third rope, the Stun Gun! Austin wins! ✗ Steve Austin is STILL your ECW World Champion! As the fans cheer, Austin crawls to the ropes and picks himself up. He asks for a microphone. "Now Cactus Jack... Mick Foley... Whatever your name is... When you get to Turner Broadcasting Studio. Tell Uncle Eric... Tell Big Daddy Turner... And tell HULK HOGAN... That Steve Austin says hello. Tell them you couldn't do the j-o-b against him, because he's a true SUPERSTAR. Tell them, with your tiny tail between your weird ass looking legs, that you couldn't make it in the E-C-Dubya. And hell, tell Hogan his world championship is just a prop. THIS is the real deal. THIS is the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, and no one will take it away from me... NOW GET THE HELL OUT OF MY RING!" <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> QUICK RESULTS: 1 ✗ Bubba Ray Dudley def. ECW Holiday Hell 1995 is set to take place on December 29th in the Lost Battalion Hall in Queens New York. Let's take a look at the card and the events that led to it. ECW World Heayvweight Championship: Steve Austin © vs. Mick Foley On the first Hardcore TV after November to Remember 1995, Mick Foley delivered his now infamous "Magical Land of WCW" promo. He announced he was signed to WCW and would debut on the very first Nitro of 1996. All Mick Foley wanted to leave behind him was burned bridges as he insulted Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk, Paul E. Dangerously, the fans, ECW as a wholle,... and made some remarks about Steve Austin failing in WCW. On his way out, Mick Foley wanted to beat some sense into protege Mikey Whipwreck. After defeating him on a november edition of Hardcore TV, Mick Foley decided to beat Mikley Whipwreck until he agreed to move to WCW with him as his "towel boy". Poor Mikey got absolutely destroyed, but ECW World Champion Steve Austin ran out and ran Mick Foley off. After helping Whipwreck to his feet, Austin delivered Mikey his own Whippersnapp for good measures. On the following episodes of Hardcore TV, Austin & Foley engaged in a promo war for ages. Austin, after disposing of Damien Kane in the main event, adressed Mick Foley "running away" now that a TRUE superstar was in ECW. He insulted Foley for dropping the ball, whereas Steve Austin was taking it and running all the way. "I'm here to carry ECW on my back, the back of a superstar. You're just a second tier stunt man who's gonna job to Hulk Hogan within weeks.". Foley answered the following week that he was going to be a worldwide superstar, whereas Austin in ECW was gonna be a "big fish in a tiny pond". The two wrestlers dragged in poor Mikey Whipwreck in all of this, beating him up and literally dragging him into promos. The matter was simple: was he gonna be an ECW lifer and bask in Steve Austin's glory, or did he want to follow Cactus to "the magical land of WCW"? Being a punchline angered Whipwreck, who got a rematch with Mick Foley that he almost won... But ultimately got his ass beaten. After weeks of war of words, Mick Foley attacked Austin on the last Hardcore TV before Holiday Hell. He double arm DDT'd him onto a chair and sit on his chest with a microphone. "If you wanna stay in that bingo hall, fine. Imma become a proper star, on TNT and everything!". Foley said he was gonna beat Austin for the ECW title at Holiday Hell, take the title to Uncle Eric's desk and maybe drop it into a trash can on Nitro. Will Mick Foley take the ECW World title to "the magical land of WCW"? Or will champion Steve Austin prove that he's the one and only superstar in ECW? Christmas Chaos Tag Team Match: Raven & Taz vs. Tommy Dreamer & ? Terry Funk vs. Stevie Richards November to Remember was tough for Tommy Dreamer. He lost to Raven & Cactus Jack thanks to Bill Alfonso's shady refereeing, and then got choked out by former training partner Taz. On the very next Hardcore TV, Dreamer vowed to get revenge on Taz... And to not be over in his war with childhood rival Raven. He proceeded to call out Taz and run after him anytime he got the chance. Taz for his part, didn't care much about Dreamer. There was only one man he wanted: former tag partner Sabu. Taz got on a streak of under 1 minute wins on Hardcore TV, against guys like Damien Stone, JT Smith and Bull Pain. After his decisive with his dreaded Tazmission, he called for Sabu... But only Dreamer came, thirsty for revenge. On the last Hardcore TV of November, Dreamer came out to brawl with Taz. This brought out Raven and his lackey, Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie... And this brought out Terry Funk to make the save. In the brawl, Stevie Richards delivered a Stevie Kick to the back of Terry Funk's head, knocking him out cold.. Raven & Taz then beat up Dreamer. On following Hardcore TV, after they beat The Bad Crew in a tag match, Dreamer & Funk stood in the ring. Dreamer challenged Taz & Raven to a tag match with Funk... But Funk declined! The Funker said he was focused on teaching Stevie Richards a lesson in respect! This brought out Raven who laughed at Dreamer for being alone. "Do you feel my pain now?". Dreamer promised to find a "christmas gift" tag team partner. Taz wasn't happy about fighting Dreamer, always focused on Sabu. Raven argued that Taz wouldn't have Dreamer coming after him if they "kill him", and then he could concentrate on Sabu. Stevie Richards, always a background player in Raven's world, was now in the forefront of things. The always happy-go-lucky Richards was TERRYFIED at facing Terry Funk. He apologized, tried to escape the match, but all he got was a slap in the face by Terry Funk and a date with him: december 29th. (Meanwhile, Raven barely aknowledged Stevie, telling him he would be alone going into this match.) Who will Tommy Dreamer mystery partner be as he faces arch nemesis Raven and former friend Taz? How will young Stevie Richards do against former NWA World champion Terry Funk, who's dead set on teaching him a lesson? Too Cold Scorpio vs. The Sandman (/w. Woman) Too Cold Scorpio and The Sandman where on the top of the world in 1995. Sandman was a world champion and Scorpio was the TV champion this year, while the two enjoyed a short term tag title reign. Now that 1995 is closing, they are both title less and their partnership has gone to dust. After Too Cold barely participated in their tag title defenses, leading to them losing the tag straps to Public Enemy, Sandman was pissed. They argued for few episodes of Hardcore TV, and their miscommunication cost them a tag team title rematch against Public Enemy... Once against because of Scorpio phoning it. On the first episode of december, Scorpio defend his TV title against Sabu. It was a high flying chaotic match, that ended when Sandman accidentally struck Scorpio with his singapour cane, leading to Sabu winning the TV title! After the match, the two men argued but left together, with Woman in tow. The following week, it was Sandman who had a chance at the TV title against Sabu, bu Scorpio cost Sandman the match, this time obviously on purpose, by hitting him with a chair. The war was on! Too Cold Scorpio is tired of having to carry around "dead weight" in the Sandman. Sandman challenged former tag partner to a match at Holiday Hell and promised him an old school caning as a christmas gift. Who's gonna win this battle of the former tag team partners? "Crusher" Durante vs. Pitbull Gary Wolfe The Pitbulls lost a tag team match which stipulation said they must split as a tag team. On the next Hardcore TV, they adressed the situation and thanked the fans, promising to still have each other's back... ... Francine, their manager, wasn't on the same page. She said she couldn't manage "two losers" and that moving on she will give her "services" to only one of them, it was up to them to impress her. That led to several singles matches where botch men - each one accompanied by Francine - squashed some ECW lower card guys (Dances With Dudley, Chubby Dudley, Damien Stone, The Blue Meanie,...). Pitbull #2 renamed himself "Crusher" Durante and debuted a new nasty powerbomb finisher, doing everything he could to be "worthy" to Francine. Pitbull Gary Wolfe seemed less enchanted by the weaked ways of Francine and began questioning her actions. The leather clad manager said that she will make her decision known at Holiday Hell, but both men had one last test... A dog collar match against each others! Gary Wolfe doesn't seemed thrilled about going to war with his former partner, but Durante already said that he'll do "anything" for Francine, who he is now calling "mistress"... Two former partner battle in a Dog Collar match, who will prevail? And in which corner is Francine going to be? Elsewhere on the card.. ✗ The Gangstaz are back! New Jack & Mustafa reignited their blood feud with Public Enemy what raged on all summer. This time, the ECW World Tag Team Championship is on the line! Over the weeks, the two teams have brawled all over Hardcore TV with chairs, tables, a kitchen sink and some other crazy weapons. At Holiday Hell, they clash to determine who's the top tag team in ECW. ✗ Jason Knight felt insulted by Rey Misterio Jr. when he refused his services as his managers. He unleashed his clients The Eliminators at Rey, who got back up in Mexico's finest Konnan. Jason Knight tried to have Konnan arrested by the police on the last Hardcore TV, only to get beaten up by Konnan. The two team are set to battle at Holiday Hell, with the added stipulation that if the Eliminators win, Rey Misterio & Konnan wil have their visas confiscated by Jason Knight and will have to leave the US!... But if The Eliminators wins, Jason Knight will have to spend a week in the slums of Tijuana. ✗ Sabu has return to ECW! On the first Hardcore TV after November to Remember, Paul Heyman buried the hatchet with him and put him over as the most extreme wrestler on earth. Meawhile, Sabu hasn't spoken a single word, and hasn't answered any of Taz's multiple challenges. He's been busy in the ring, and is the new ECW World Television Champion! After defeating Too Cold Scorpio to win the belt and defending it against The Sandman and Primo Carnera III, Sabu is set to face a newcomer in ECW, Rob Van Dam! This match for the TV title is sure to be exciting. ✗ Bubba Ray Dudley is tired of being bullied by his older brothers Big Dick & Dudley Dudley. He wants to prove that he's not the weak link of the family. At Holiday Hell, he faces hardcore chair swinging freak Axl Rotten to prove his worth. </div> <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> PREDICTION KEY: 1 ✗ Axl Rotten vs. Bubba Ray Dudley 2 ✗ ECW Tag Team Championship: The Gangstaz vs. Public Enemy © 3 ✗ Dog Collar Match: Crusher Durante vs. Pitbull Gary Wolfe 4 ✗ Loser Leaves the Country: Rey Misterio Jr. & Konnan vs. The Eliminators /w. 16. Thank you my friend! Pulp Fiction promos to me are synonymous with the very identity of ECW. Having discovered ECW after they were gone it was a gateway to the extreme "Austinsnapper" doesn't have the same ring to it tho... wonder if he can finds a more stunning name... Thank you very much! Glad to have you on board

The fans want a piece of me because I called a DQ, Paul E. wants a piece of me for supposedly ruining his main event, Tommy Dreamer wants a piece of me for costing him a chance to get beaten by Raven - again! But now i've got Taz backing me up! He's the toughest! He's the strongest! He's unbeatable! You can't fight him! You can't beat him! He's the Human! Suplex! Machine! THAT'S RIGHT DADDY! YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?! GOOD LUCK FIGHTING TAZ! TAZ ✗ You want to get to him? You go through me. You want to play the tough guy? You get smacked by the toughest guy. Hey Tommy Dreamer, i'm sorry about your little match. I'm sorry I had to choke you out... But I don't give a f*ck. Matter of fact I don't give a f*ck about you... Terry Funk... Raven or Cactus Jack... Paul E... Tod Gordon... F*ck them! The only one I care about, is SABU. Sabu, you little piece of sh*t! You think you can walk back in ECW like that? You think I forgot how you dumped my ass back in April to go wrestle in Japan? You think I forgot about you letting me defend OUR tag team championship all by myself? F*CK YOU! Sabu, i'm a consumate professional. I don't miss cards, I don't double book myself. That's the difference between you and me. I'm a professional wrestler... You're just an animal. And be sure that I am coming for you, you piece of sh*t. FONZIE ✗ THAT'S RIGHT DADDY! WHO CAN STOP THE PATH OF TAZ?! </div> <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> <img style="max-width:100%;" alt="" src="https://i.imgur.com/k2mzfQ8.jpg"> "The magical land of WCW" CACTUS JACK ✗ When the Philadelphia fans started to bring signs to the arena that read "Cane Dewey", I knew I had to get out of here. I knew that ECW was a toxic workplace, a toxic environement. And quite honestly, that made me sad... See, I always thought we had more than a fan-wrestler relationship. I always saw the ECW fans as part of my family. Because you see... Cactus Jack is hardcore... So why would the ECW fans, Cactus Jack's family, want to cane his son?... I'll tell you why, because you are sick. You are demented. Drunken off the blood of your heroes fitghting for you approval. High off the adrenaline procured by fighting through the wrestlers. Exhilarated by the beer, heat and chaos... I understand. I was like you once. I was like you. When Jimmy Snuka jumped off a cage onto Don Muraco and missed, I was in the crowd. I was flabbergasted. I wanted more. More. MORE. MORE! MORE!... I didn't care that Snuka missed his jump and broke three ribs. I didn't care that his daughter Sarona watched in tears as her father and hero crashed... I didn't get it... Now I do. MICK FOLEY ✗ You see, it's not Cactus Jack talking to you right now, it's Mick Foley. It's Miss Foley's baby boy, who had to tell his mother he was okay, even though my body was aching. The same Mick Foley who had to reassure his mother after he broke his teeth wrestling... THE SAME MICK FOLEY WHO LOST AN EAR IN GERMANY AGAINST VADER! LOOK AT THIS!... I can't even wear glasses, because i'm missing an ear... Isn't it funny?... I did all of that for you. For you, ingrate b*stards who want to cane my son. Well f*ck you. F*ck you ECW fans. F*ck you ECW. F*ck you Tommy Dreamer. F*ck you TERRY FUNK!... You were my idol man. And now I understand that you're responsible for the moral bankpruptcy of an ENTIRE GENERATION! How many of us didn't make it in the business? How many of us broke our backs, set ourselves on fire, trying to be like you?... I'm done trying to be Terry Funk. MICK FOLEY ✗ I'm done trying to appeal to murderous, insane fans. I'm done with ECW... I'm off to greener pastures, everybody! I'm going down where the big boys play. That's right, you heard it correct. I'm going way down south like Cotton Eye Joe. I'm going to Uncle Eric to cash a big paycheck! I'm going to Turner Broadcasting and imma get RICH wrestling catch as catch can with Lord Regal and Brad Armstrong and Ric Flair. I'm going to WCW to wrestle in front of sophisticated fans that appreciate the beauty of a wristlock. I'm going to wrestle for a management that's not gonna ask me to go through tables "for the fans". I'm going to wrestle in actual arenas with proper production values and a camera crew that didn't get their job certificate in an Happy Meal. I'm going to w-r-e-s-t-l-e. And don't trust what Steve Austin say, in the magical land of WCW, you can actually become a superstar... If you're good enough. And Mick Foley is good enough for WCW. Because Uncle Eric told me. He gold me "Mick, you're too good for that crap. You're too good to be risking your health in bingo halls, in front of inbred and for peanut money."... Uncle Eric is right, he's always right... And he gave me the keys to the kingdom. You won't see Cactus Jack ever again. You won't see Mick Foley in ECW ever again... And that feels good.... F*CK YOU ECW! <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> <img style="max-width:100%;" alt="" src="https://i.imgur.com/bb9zAbA.jpg"> "WE COMIN' FOR YOU" NEW JACK ✗ Public Enemy are the tag team champions!... Yo believe it Mustafa? They are now four times ECW World Tag Team Champions!... That's interesting. 'Cuz back in june, da Gnagstaz debuted in ECW and kicked these motherf*cker asses. We handed it to them! These dancin' punk who think they're funny... You know what's funny Mustafa? MUSTAFA ✗ Whut?! NEW JACK ✗ The Public Enemy aren't gonna keep these tag belts for long. MUSTAFA ✗ Why?! NEW JACK ✗ Cuz' we comin' for them... JOHNNY GRUNGE!... ROCCO ROCK!... WE COMIN' FOR YOU! You think you beat us at Hardcore Heaven this summer? It was nuthin'! It was nuthin'! We still standing boy! We not dead! We not dead! MUSTAFA ✗ Witness the 2nd coming... Of Mustafa Saed... And New Jack... NEW JACK ✗ You ain't seen nuthin' Public Enemy. We bringin' the streets to you. Beware. MUSTAFA ✗ HAHAHAHAHAHAHA </div>
  18. Thank you very much. Steiners had to job on the way out!... Although Scott bitched a bit about losing, I must confess. I'm not sure how the Bill Alfonso DQ would have fared in real life. I feel like you can't end a big show on that note, hence the impromptu main event. How ECW had angles unfold organically and everything was in succession always amazed me, so that's what I tried with the Alfonso DQ segway into Taz, into Sabu's return, into the impromptu match and the Face Off/No Contact between Taz & Sabu. Quite surprisingly, no company has made an offer for Austin yet, fingers crossed! I use gazfewc (hope I didn't mispelled it) 95 mod that I tweaked a bit to begin in november instead of september. Most tweaked I made are ECW related so I think WCW/WWF are inaccurate as they are still basically the same that in septembre. Than you very much for your very nice, very evil comment. The chaotic, anything can happen vibe of ECW is something that I love, so I'm glad I can translate that even a little bit.
  19. PREDICTION KEY: Men of the Year vs. CM Punk & Darby Allin (w/ Sting) Altisimo vs. Anthony Bowens (w/ Max Caster) Rebel (w/ Dr. Britt Baker DMD) vs. Ruby Soho Anthony Ogogo (w/ The Factory) vs. Marko Stunt (w/ Jurassic Express & Christian Cage) I was stunned at how AEW mishandled what i think is a can't miss talent in Ogogo... Well hopefully he'll crush it in Progress and return to the USA to be what he's destined to be: a megastar IWGP UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP: Jon Moxley © (w/ Eddie Kingston) vs. NJPW's Minoru Suzuki Moxley vs. Tanahashi pls
  20. Thanks everyone for your comments, encouragement and analysis. I've been reading some of y'alls diaries for like months - if not years and it's always a great pleasure to write something that's liked and encouraged. Feedback is a gift, so feel free to tell me how you liked this show and what I can do to make it better. Disclaimer: i'm not a native english speaker so I apologize is there are too many mispellings and nonsense. As some of you noted, the roster is top heavy... For the moment, as WCW, WWF, AAA, and even New Japan (!) are coming. The Steiners are already signed (to WCW), and at least two people are on the way out... But some are coming in! I cheated a little bit and added a talent trade/developpment relationship between ECW & WWF, as I feel the relationship was burgeoning at that time in real life. I didn't put a not steal agreement in there thought. And now, the prediction results! Live, from the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I'm your host the voice of extreme Joey Styles and this is E!... C!... W!... Tonight, two of ECW's most violent tag team collide in a dog collar match as The Pitbulls take on The Eliminators. The war has been raging for monthers now and this HAS to end! The losing team will be forced to split! Speaking of tag team the tag team gold is on the line, unlikely partners and champions The Sandman and Too Cold Scorpio will defend against both the Public Enemy and the Steiner Brothers. How are Scorpio and Sandman going to hold their title facing the godfathers of tag team wrestling in ECW and two brothers who wrestle together since the craddle?! It won't be the end of the action for Scorpio and Scott Steiner as they will wrestle back to back match! This singles match will be for Too Cold's ECW World Television Championship! Will these two superior athletes be able to wrestle back to back matches? How will that affect their capabilities?! Then, it's the rivalry too big for Mexico! Rey Misterio Jr. and Psicosis have been feuding since they were teenagers! Psicosis, initially a training partner of Rey under the latter's father, went rogue. Since the, these two have been entangled in a never ending war. Tonight, they take things to the extreme in a Mexican Death Match! Speaking of extreme, the Extreme Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight title will be on the line! Plucky underdog Mikey Whipwreck will defend against "Superstar" Steve Austin! The challenger has made a huge splash in ECW with his backstages antics and some emphatic wins. Will he stun the champion, or will Mikey once again win against all odds? Then it's our MAIN EVENT! Cactus Jack and Raven taking on Tommy Dreamer and his idol Terry Funk! Raven and Dreamer's feud began years ago in a summer camp, somewhere in the north east, back when they were children! The nihilistic Raven and the pugnacious Tommy Dreamer could not be more different!... Raven took Cactus Jack under his wing after the latter decided to launch a crusade against hardcore wrestling, turning on Tommy Dreamer at Wrestlepalooza and joining Raven's Nest! Facing tremendous odds, Tommy Dreamer made a phone call... ENTER TERRY FUNK! The living legend took his side and entered the fray. His former friend turned enemy Cactus Jack and himself have been at odds ever since. On last ECW Hardcore TV, Cactus Jack insulted the memory of Terry's father Dory Sr., drawing the ire of the Funker who promised to "send Cactus Jack packing to WCW in a box"!... What does that even mean? One thing is fore sure ladies and gentlemen, you are in for a night... Of EXTREME. </div> <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER 1995 ✗ The show begins with Buh Buh Ray, Dances With and Chubby Dudley dancing in the ring to some disco music. Big brother Big Dick Dudley and leader (and only "pure" Dudley) Dudley Dudley don't seem amuse. They smack their little brothers. Dudley Dudley says they need to reinforce. That was weird. 1. In our opening contest, a brutal tag team dog collar match pitches The Pitbulls aganst The Eliminators. #1 & Perry Saturn are linked together, as are #2 and John Kronus. It's a brutal and bloody match where the chains linking the wrestlers are fully used. Manager Jason Knight tries to interfere on behalf of his clients The Eliminators, but Francine catches him with a take down. This total mayhem comes to an ending when The Pitbulls try to performe their Superbomb on Saturn through a table. Kronus uses the chain that links his dog collar to #2's to make him fall to the outside, through another table. Perry Saturn then hit a jumping spinning wheel kick to pin #1 and win the match. ✗ Post match, Francine is in despair. Her tag team must split! As the Pitbulls are freed from their dog collar, she kneels in the middle of the ring and cries. Jason Knight couldn't be more happy. ✗ Steve Austin is backstages, dressed as Hulk Hogan. He promises that "Steve'O Mania" will run wild tonight. "There's no chance I do the j-o-b to that little runt Mikey Whipwreck, BROTHER. Imma slam this 800 pounds mastodont in front of the 1 million people in attendance BROTHER! Then, I will say my prayers, take my vicodin and live happily ever after DUDE!" 2. The ECW World Tag Team Championship is on the line! Champions The Sandman and Too Cold Scorpio, with Woman, defend against The Public Enemy and The Steiner Brothers. The story of the match is that both challenging team want a piece of the champions. They double team them as soon as they can. They focus on Sandman, because Scorpio doesn't seem to want to be in the match. He preserves himself and often refuses the tag, perhaps as a way of staying fresh for his NEXT title defense just after. The Sandman takes all the beating and takes the pin after a Steiner Doomsday Bulldog, eliminating his team. He rolls out of the ring under the recriminations of Too Cold Scorpio: "you lost us the match!". The 2 on 2 affair that follows is highly competitive, with the Steiner wrestling a grueling style and Public Enemy feeling a little bit physically outclassed. But the ECW originals that are the Public Enemy have more than one trick in their sleeves. "Fly Boy" Rocco Rock's craziness gives his team the edge as he hits a crazy moonsault on Rick Steiner. Meanwhile, Johnny Grunge launches himself at Scott Steiner, keeping him at bay as he watches his brother being pinned. ✗ As soon as the match is over, Too Cold Scorpio attacks Scott Steiner with his ECW TV title belt. He wants the next match to start as soon as possible, and forces the referee to ring the bell. 3. With the ECW World Television Championship on the line, a almost fresh Too Cold Scorpio defends against a badly beaten Scott Steiner. Despite the exhaustion, Steiner holds his ground and matches Scorpio strike for strike. A clearly upset Scorpio uses every trick in the book, but even his Tumbleweed isn't enough to finish the match. Finally, he manages to roll up Scott Steiner for a quick three count and the win. ✗ As Too Cold celebrates, Scott's brother Rick runs him off the ring. He then helps his brother to his feet and holds his hand high up. The Public Enemy come back in the ring... And shake the Steiners' hands. The ECW World Tag Team Champions applaude the Steiners as they get shower in "you'll be back" chants. 4. It's a Mexican Death Match! Psicosis and Rey Misterio Jr. put it all on the line in a fast paced match with lots of jumps, dives, twists and turns! They take full advantage of the Mexican Death Match rules to use chairs and fight on the outside... Or perhaps more accurately TO the outside, with a lot of springboards and tope con hilo. This absolute frenzy of a match ends with a succession of fast pins attempted that get stopped with a reverse hurracanrana onto a chair from Rey to get the win. ✗ Hey look who is it, it's Jason! The self proclaimed sexiest man alive is here. He tells Rey he's good... But he can only become GREAT if he hires Jason as a manager. Has he seen what the Eliminators did with him in their corner? Rey Misterio doesn't seem to happy about that, and someone jumps the gardrails... It's Konnan! The "Mexican Hulk Hogan" gets in Jason's face. "You punk think you can piggy back Rey Misterio? He's one of a kind, a generational talent, and you're just a maricon!" Jason gets angry and calls out The Eliminators! Visibly tired, they come out but refuse to get into the ring and tangle with Konnan and Misterio. Jason gets upset, and eats a right hand from Konnan for his trouble. 5. (Unlikely) ECW World Heavyweight Champion Mikey Whipwreck faces the toughest challenge in his short title reign in the person of Steve Austin! As soon as the match starts, Mikey gets CLOBBERED. The blonde haired superstar punches and stomps the underdog like crazy. He tosses him around and doesn't even attempt to make a pin. The mugging lasts about three minutes, before Austin attempts a piledriver... BUT MIKEY REVERSES WITH A ROLL UP! ONE, TWO, THR... Austin kicked out! An irrate Austin grabs Whipwreck by the hair, throws him into the corner and gives him the beating of his life. He finally hits a piledriver and pins Mikey to become the new world champion. ✗ As soon as he has won, Steve Austin takes a microphone. "Steve Austin broke in the world famous Dallas Sportatorium, home of the LEGENDARY Von Erichs!... Steve Austin is here to wrestle. That's what I do best. That's what I do better than anybody! Because i'm a WRESTLER!... Now here in the ECW there's no Hogans... There's no Dusty Rhodes... There's no DICK Flair. And there's no motherf*ckin' BISCHOFF!... There is NO ONE... NO ONE to stop Steve Austin in the E-C-Dubya!... So imma show you what a TRUE Superstar is. What a TRUE Superstar does. Imma be the Superstar that I always knew that I could be. There's no one... No one in ECW that can stop me.... And that's the bottom line." ✗ Cactus Jack & Raven (with Stevie Richards, Beulah McGuillicutty and the Blue Meanie) are making their entrance for our big main event. Before their opponents can enter, Cactus Jack goes straight at ECW's resident referee Jim Molineaux... And throws him out of the ring! Cactus takes a mic and say he's done with garbage wrestling, so he doesn't want a phony referee that's gonna allow chair shots and mayhem! Instead, he calls out the only "respectable, honest, blue collar" referee in ECW to officiate the Main Event... Bill Alfonso! The fans BOO THEIR LUNGS OUT as Alfonso makes his way to the ring. He tells us there will be strict tags holding the tap rope, there will be no chair shots, and no closed fist punches!... Great. 6. Tommy Dreamerand Terry Funk put up a great fight in the Main Event againt Raven and Cactus Jack. But weasely ref Alfonso makes sure the strict wrestling rules are followed, antagonizing the crowd and their favourite team. He makes 5 counts in the ropes, he gibes a "yellow card" to Terry Funk for using a closed fist. It's gibberish. In the ring, Raven and Tommy Dreamer got at it every time they're the legal men, throwing themselves at each others like mad men. This brawl degenerates out of the ring, where a fan is holding a big sign that says "Raven fears Dreamer". Tommy Dreamer sees it, grabs the sign and... Smashes it over Raven's head! Now, Bill Alfonso, being the prick that he is... CALLS IN FOR A DQ! ✗ The crowd is pissed, throwing garbage at Bill Alfonso. Never in ECW has there been a DQ of that sort. It's against everything the company stands for. There could well be a riot in just a minute... But Terry Funk is the man who'll avenge the fans. He steps up to scrawny Bill Alfonso and punches him! Meanwhile, Cactus Jack is beating the hell out of Dreamer ringside, with the help of Raven's crownies. But then, the lights go out... IT'S TAZ! ✗ Taz wasn't on the card tonight because of his injury, but now he's in the middle of the ring, opposing Terry Funk, with Bill Alfonso crawling in the middle of the ring. Taz looks down at Alfonso, up at Terry Funk... And runs at him with a flurry of punches! The two men brawl, but then the lights go out again. "Hold on, I think we're having a technical issue" - Joey Styles. ... IT'S SABU! We haven't seen Sabu since he was publicly fired by Paul Heyman for missing a show, instead chosing to wrestle in Japan, back in April. He's now in the middle of the ring, and on the other side it's his former tag team partner Taz... There's a brief moment of tension, that gets broken up by Cactus Jack throwing Tommy Dreamer into the ring, while Raven and Terry Funk are now brawling to the outside. Sabu runs to the ropes and does a crazy dive to the outside, taking down Raven, Richards & The Blue Meanie! In the ring, Tommy Dreamer hits the DDT on Cactus and turns around to face Taz. These two came up together in ECW, we can suppose that they were friends... But this is a new Taz. He points at Bill Alfonso and tells him to ring the bell... What ? 7. Taz and Tommy Dreamer are going to wrestle! It's chaos all around, Cactus Jack stumbled to the back, leaving the scene. Ringside, Sabu & Funk are brawling with Raven & his Flock. In the ring, Dreamer & Taz go into a furious fist fight. An already tired Dreamer gives everything he's got, and almost hits a Dreamer Driver, but Taz goes behind him and locks in a submission hold, bringing him down... "The kata ha jime!" Dreamer is locked, he can't go nowhere but refuses to tap. He passes out, giving Taz a victory in his return. ✗ Could the mayhem please stop? Taz gets up and he calls out Sabu, but the Homicidal, Suicidal, Death-Defying just got done putting down Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie. He turns back to Taz, growls, slides into the ring... "We're running out of time!" - Joey Styles. ✗ Taz and Sabu run at each other and start a brawl, as the crowd gets more and more raucous. They throw garbage, streamers, even a chair in the ring. Paul Heyman comes out from the back and calls out security and a few ECW young boys, a swarm of men get into the ring and separate Sabu and Taz. This is a general melee, a total brawl... And how November to Remember ends. <div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:3px solid rgb(29, 28, 34);"></div> QUICK RESULTS: 1 ✗ Dog Collar Match - Losing team must split: The Eliminators /w.
