  1. I am in! I know I said I wouldn't want Mikey up against Remo right now, but I've changed my mind. If he puts on a good show, I could see him getting a pop boost and going to that next level. As for the North American match, my cursor was hovering over 'Remo' just to see where that would leave us, but ended up settling on my boy Mainstream. Oh and I'd like to see this hosted on the beautiful beaches of San Juan.
  2. Good question, I've got a spreadsheet with my workers and what storylines they're participating in for each month, with a note on the top of each PPV noting how much of a build I've got for that show. I noticed as well that it's fairly clustered around that time period. I haven't planned anything that can't be changed for that time period, but generally speaking without giving too much away, I do see "The Dark Universe", "Return From The Dark Universe" and the one weekly show in-between as an opportunity to try something a bit different, so I think I'll be leaving them as they are. The two-show build to Paradox Equation isn't the most ideal, but not too bad in the grand scheme of things, for now I don't think I'll make any changes to the dates.
  3. <p>LU Trios Championship Qualifier: <strong>Highwaymen</strong> vs DeathSquad</p><p> </p><p> I think the Highwaymen are the group you'll be pushing initially.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sexy Star</strong> vs Air Wolf</p><p> </p><p> Sexy Star is the bigger name (I think? Again, limited RW knowledge here).</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hunters (Bandido/Night Claw)</strong> vs El Hijo de Rey Mysterio/El Hijo de Dos Caras</p><p> </p><p> I think Bandido will be a star for you.</p>
  4. Frogue Element vs Spiffy Stan Standish Frogue's the beneficiary of a recent face turn, also the more popular guy. I see him taking this comfortably. JT Ace vs Maurice Jackson There could be a swerve coming with this one, but I don't see JT having the pop needed to unseat Maurice here. Swoop McCarthy vs Cole Taylor Easy win for Swoop. Horton Ravenwood vs Tye LiberTeen Actually a tough call... let's go with Tye. Heath Murdock vs Echo Echo's been booked pretty strong of late. Will Kerry Wayne get his hands on Will Beaumont? Nope, the only ones getting their hands on Will are the mothers he meets on his tour.
  5. The layout looks nice, I've never had any issues accessing docdroid, looks good here. I'm interested to see what this looks like as a full diary.
  6. Ah! Fooled by the intro for SCS. I knew it! Only 1/3 on the predictions. Nice first show, interested to see where it goes from here.
  7. I'm just biding my time down in the lower half, sitting in the pack. I'll wait for the final lap then move into position for a podium finish.
  8. Great PPV. Shame about Mainstream, but happy to see Mikey and The Awesomeness pick up wins. I'd hope Mikey could work his way towards title contention at some points, but maybe when Remo's mood improves a little bit. As for Randy & Rogue, I'd like nothing more than Z-Dub to just stalk them with a chair and lay them out whenever they try to do anything from now on, see how they like it. I did predict Rocky to win (even though it was clear Scythe needed the win) because I was a bit worried about the discrepancy between their polarities. You mentioned Scythe's win gave him a huge boost, was this at the expense of Rocky's pop? Not that I suppose it matters, he's got the tools to build it back up. The less said about that main event and it's rating, the better EDIT: Oh and almost forgot to say, the presentation was FANTASTIC. I know I say that every time, but you really knocked it out of the park here. Especially with the Rocky/Scythe stuff.
  9. Excited for this tournament, huge 32-person pool, anything could happen. DeerBaby is my dark horse pick for the tournament. He's going to be huge in the demos for RAW.
  10. I briefly considered that he would appear at the end of every LuchaLore, Nick Fury style. I won't say he'll appear in every story or anything, but it's fun writing him in considering his role allows him to be in many places and times. PREVIEW WEDNESDAY, WEEK 4 FEBRUARY 2020 EMLL: Tales From The Multiverse Rey Soldado vs. Trickster Anarchist vs. Zebra Man Captain Lucha vs. Noxious El Serpiente vs. Soda De Uva Jr Death's Head vs. El Orgulloso Predictions: Rey Soldado vs. Trickster Anarchist vs. Zebra Man Captain Lucha vs. Noxious El Serpiente vs. Soda De Uva Jr Death's Head vs. El Orgulloso
  11. Nice Start, I like the flavour behind the backstory of the SCS. I wonder if we'll see them expand towards that number of 10 as time goes on. LU Trios Championship Qualifier: Aerovillians vs Sin City Sirens SCS did just get the first Temple Saga introduction... but maybe you're doing that to throw us off. Either way, let's go with SCS. Highway Alex vs Gage This is where my limited knowledge of RW is going to come into play. I'm going to go with Gage, but it's more of a conflip. El Hijo de Rey Mysterio vs Bestia 666 I'm guessing Bestia 666 is going to be a big threat, and El Hijo de Rey Mysterio is going to get the slow burn up to being a star tecnico, but we'll see.

  13. You're not even going to give us a hint Willsky? Cmon, what are we talking here? Cverse? Tverse? RW?
  14. Double Main Event 2020 Yoshifusa Maeda Grand Prix Final Block A Winner Big Bruiser Findlay vs Block B Winner SUKI BCG World title match 9th Champion Funakoshi vs Challenger Razan Okamoto Bunrakuken Torii, Blast Ikoma & Yoshinaka Taku vs Dynamite Narahashi, Noritoshi Miura & Inejiro Yoshizawa BCG Challengers Series title match 15th Champion Naozane Goto vs Challenger Sojuro Sen Rokuemon Matsushita, Nobuharu Yokokawa & Yuta Isono vs Giant Brody, Animal Harker & Desperado Dave Barker Roku Sotomura, Sharaku Okimasa, Kadonomaro Kamisaka & Kiyotaka vs Tanyu Toshusai, Morimasa Kato, Masashi Urogataya & Omezo Shikitei Opening match The American Cobras vs Ichiro Mitsukuri and Ryobe Uno
  15. I'm excited for Findlay vs Suki. I want to say Suki will win it to make up for the loss in the tag tournament.
  16. Sure The roster is shaping up nicely, some interesting factions in there for sure. Got my eyes on Bandido who fits the product nicely.
  17. Christian Price, Cameron Vessey and Sean Deeley vs. Sean McFly, Aaron Knight and Donte Dunn They're the better team ratings-wise (mostly due to McFly). It's also early in the diary, so I could see a big heel win here. Who knows, could always be a Blockbuster interference to cost the faces the match, save them some face. Jack DeColt, Ricky DeColt and David Stone vs. Johnny Bloodstone, Jared Johnson and George Wolfe Love me the DeColts, but Bloodstone's pretty hot right now, I think we'll see that continue. Amber Allen, Claire Winters and Sally Anne Christianson vs. The Queen's Court The stable wins here, sets up for a title challenge later. Brooke Tyler, Laura Flame and Nina Cacace vs. Lauren Easter, Natalie DiMarco and Ariel Breaks Brooke is great. Elite vs. Thunder & Lightning and Sonny Wildside I like Wildside, but I think this is going to the Elite. Marc DuBois and The Montreal Mafia vs. Skip Beau and The Griffin Family Never bet against the Griffins. Erik Strong and Generation Z vs. Lee Rivera and The Brothers Cain Brothers Cain > Gen Z, but I think you're setting Strong up for an... erm... strong mid-card role.
  18. You know, I'm very similar in that I don't usually read RW because it's... real? I know I won't do a very good job of explaining it, but I think the way you described it is as good an explanation as any. I'd make an exception for a rebooted Lucha Underground though. Excited to see who you bring on board.
  19. Man, this makes me wish Dizzy G came with any sort of entertainment skills. I could see him being a member of Swoop's entourage. Will just keeps on killing it. I hope he's delivering the goods in-game too, because I don't want to see him disappear anytime soon.
  20. Yeah, that's true about Rivera. Wildside's great in particular. I like Duvak, good pick-up from ACPW. Which reminds me that I'm surprised guys like Ant-Man and Jamie Atherton aren't in the CWA by default. They're both fantastic entertainers who I always get tempted to sign in any game I run. Maybe in TEW24.
  21. Great show! Another rough one for me in the prediction contest, but at least I called Deeley and Dunn. Bit of a shame about Rivera, he had a monster run for me in my CGC save in TEW16. Had a good destiny roll I think and I just had to make him my champ with the ratings he was getting me. He continued to deliver from there on as well. I miss the 'Thrill Seeker'. Not sure if it's a popular opinion, but I'm not a fan of boring, bald Lee Rivera. Shooter Sean Deeley on the other hand is a favourite of mine. Not sure why, I've always liked the render I suppose, and his gimmick. I'm a fan of the no-facial hair version more, but I think that the look you've got him rocking suits a Heel better so makes sense to me.
  22. So you won't be time-travelling and rewriting so my boy Serene K wins the tournament?

I know we haven't seen much of him (I presume he's working dark matches?) but you have to assume Hijo del Bandido will be getting involved at some point too.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah, I run a few dark matches on each show but they're "non-canon" and I don't consider them part of the story. As for El Bandido Jr, you can expect he'll want to be in his father's corner for this, yeah <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="christmas_ape" data-cite="christmas_ape" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49412" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>If you're right that all those orphans are going to compete in apprentice style challenges then I'm sold already, I don't need to know anymore, it's already great! <p> </p><p> Another good show! I'm picking El Toro De Oro Jr as my new favourite, something just cool about him in that segment. The idea of Snake King going after Demon King is amazing and the first proper look at Nacash was good to get, even if he is stuck in a puny human body.</p><p> </p><p> I liked the reveal of the attacker too, always a fan when a mystery is revealed only to point to a deeper mystery (in who he was working for).</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well then be on the lookout for 'The Aprendiz pt. 2' <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I'm a fan of layered mysteries as well, we'll have to see what Hijo Del Vigilante has to say for himself next week.</p>
  24. I could see Findlay-Rokuemon ending in a time limit draw also, lets Findlay advance while keeping both men strong for a later confrontation.
