  1. <p>Think I've got a neat transforming one.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Plain Rises High</strong></p><p> This worker has nothing that really stands out for them. However, they seemingly resonate with the fans no matter what they do or get into.</p><p> </p><p> I would probably also limit this to the average person type of wrestler. At the Cult/National level it can transform into the following:</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Blessed Are The Meek</strong></p><p> Everyone knows that this person isn't what you'd call a star, but what got them to this stage still works for them.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>In Over Their Head</strong></p><p> What worked for this person before making it to this stage, just never carries over with the fans at the next level.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The opposite of the previous.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dusk Until Dawn</strong></p><p> This worker is highly talented but nothing they do gets them over. They just haven't found that special something that gets them to the next level.</p><p> </p><p> At the Cult/National Level transforms into:</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Morning's Light</strong></p><p> This wrestler has finally managed to find the thing necessary to get over with the fans. The dawn's light has finally reached them and the sky is the limit.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Darkness Remains</strong></p><p> This person just continues to have issues reaching that next level and it will require something miraculous to get them over.</p><p> </p><p> I would say that if a wrestler ended up with this one, this one is probably hard to get rid of or you won't be able to get rid of it easily. It probably would last until one hits the prime years or can't be modified off of a wrestler until that point.</p><p> </p><p> This would probably be tied to the Star Quality / Performance ratings and probably cease to be after that.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Others I Think Would Be Good:</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Limited But Deadly</strong></p><p> This is a worker who's not really got much of a move set or talent, but what they do looks deadly and just clicks with the audience.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Talented Yet Boring</strong></p><p> This person can do it all, yet every single move they make in the ring ust looks like they are going through the motions.</p><p> </p><p> Both of these would be tied down the flashiness stat, or something similar to that.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Can I Have This Dance?</strong></p><p> This person gains favorable chemistry much easier. OR This worker has good/great chemistry with everyone.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>I Have Two Left Feet</strong></p><p> This person gains unfavorable chemistry much easier. OR This worker has bad /terrible chemistry with everyone.</p><p> </p><p> Just a simple one that isn't tied to anything. Not sure if it should be the first or second to each, so I put both to allow for whichever you feel is more appropriate. I think the first two, but having someone who's always going to just never click or always click might be a more interesting dynamic.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Catch Me If I Fall</strong></p><p> This worker may seem or feel unsafe, but has a lower chance to cause an injury to others or themselves.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Oops, Did I Do That</strong></p><p> This worker just continually has the unlucky habit of hurting other or themselves.</p><p> </p><p> Not sure if these have been suggested yet, but I figured I'd go with them and see how it works.</p>
  2. Alright, so I've completed the alpha of the mod. You can find the link in the original post or down below: Alpha Release This alpha release has just the base wrestlers, staff and companies in the game. This release does not have any additional wrestlers outside of that, updated company logos and banners, or is probably well balanced. This is my first mod, so I'm hoping I did a good job to start with. If I made any mistakes or mishaps, I apologize in advance. I did manage to complete gimmicks for I believe FLF and LEWD, but for SHOW, VCW and WPW all characters and gimmicks on Awful and Stale, so that you can place them into whatever gimmicks you want to try out for them. Since no one commented on it from before, I figured I'd do a little of both and see what I can get for feedback. I'm really nervous about this, as this is my first mod. I'm hoping it isn't too bad of an alpha that you all can at least enjoy it. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the alpha.
  3. Hey everyone. Sorry I hadn't updated in quite some time. Oh Gods, it has been two weeks. Yikes. Guess I really got ahead of myself with trying to get this out there in a week. Thought life would give me more opportunities to build the database than what I did. So I apologize that I'm behind what I set for a schedule. That said, I've currently gotten both LEWD's roster and SHOW's roster into the database. The process of adding VCW is a go, which just will leave WPW to go for the 5 companies. Once that's completed, I'll post up a alpha of the database for anyone to try out. Any feedback on that would be welcomed. A curious thought I had, but considering I said that these are all brand new companies... Did you guys want people to start with in place gimmicks or would you like me to make it blank for you. As all the companies are just starting up, this should mean that there isn't any gimmicks or things in place, so I could put Gimmick Rating as Awful and that they are all Stale, so you can tweak it. This doesn't mean that wrestlers won't come with gimmicks they can already use. I'll make that not everyone's doesn't have a gimmick they can use (Pre-Post Edit: I think I meant I'll make sure to have people with gimmicks, geezus). This just however will allow you to tweak the company's roster as you see fit, which is what these companies will be doing as they are new. Just a thought, though I would appreciate the feedback. Anyways, thanks again for taking a look into this thread. Sorry that I don't have the alpha ready just yet. I will do my best to get it ready for you soon. ...also, sorry, I haven't had a chance to update any of the logos, so you have to settle for my sad first attempts at them. Again, all I can do is apologize for my failures.
  4. <p>So a minor update. I fell behind due to real life things, so I'll be lucky if I get a test file out this week. I still got 4 companies and some free agents to do up after all.</p><p> </p><p> Though as you can tell, the good news is that FLF has been fully added into the database! I decided to go all in on them and get at least one company completed. So every member has a background, gimmicks and stats. Only thing (I think) I'm missing is adding in move sets, but I'm working on those after I finish providing you this update.</p><p> </p><p> Here's the name of each roster member and a little about them:</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46837" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> Alfonso Mora - a disgraced football announcer turned commentator.</p><p> </p><p> Angela Lozano - a young luchadora that's very well balanced.</p><p> </p><p> Antonia Flores - the technical punch of the Sweet Sensations. She is Juana's sister.</p><p> </p><p> Camilla Diez - a seasoned wrestler looking to find a solid home.</p><p> </p><p> Captain Fuentes - a luchadora that has started finding some success as a pirate.</p><p> </p><p> Eduardo Pena - a dude straight out of college that sent in some tapes of his work and was hired because he was well liked.</p><p> </p><p> Emilia Lopez - tall powerhouse luchadora who just needs some seasoning to become the next household name in wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> Glenda Serrano - one half of The Serrano Siblings. Able to continually turn people into pretzels with her holds and submissions.</p><p> </p><p> Graciela Menendez - a member of Comedia Fanaticos, a solid brawler who desperately wants to wrestle as a luchador.</p><p> </p><p> Ise Kashihara - hailing from Japan, this puroresu wrestler has found some success over in Mexico. Currently enjoying her time away from home.</p><p> </p><p> Josefina Diaz - a raw young, but solid wrestler. Not much more to say about this technician.</p><p> </p><p> Juana Flores - the high flyer of Sweet Sensations. Antonia's sister. Owner of FLF.</p><p> </p><p> Juanita Soler - She's another solid raw talent and wants to someday wrestle her idol, Champagne Lover, in SOTBPW.</p><p> </p><p> Mammoth Sid - one half of The Eliminators. This mammoth of a woman will beat you down with her explosive power.</p><p> </p><p> Margaret Hume - an American who almost left wrestling, simply because she's only able to continually hit high risk moves. Not much else.</p><p> </p><p> Martha Cabrera - a pious and skilled wrestler who has gained a cultish following.</p><p> </p><p> Nicolas Ortiz - ran away from his abusive parents as a child, he was homeless until he joined FLF as the referee. Also dating Juana Flores.</p><p> </p><p> Norma Serrano - the other member of The Serrano Siblings, she's the big muscle.</p><p> </p><p> Rosaria Herrera - a raw luchadora that FLF perhaps see a potential star in.</p><p> </p><p> Serpiente Diaz - one half of The Eliminators. For a large woman, she's a really well balanced type of luchador.</p><p> </p><p> Veronica Martin - a submission specialist, Veronica is somehow make every transition to another submission look so flashy and cool.</p><p> </p><p> Yolanda Vila - an entertainer by trade, she's more apt outside of the ring than in it. Teams regularly with Graciela as Comedia Fanaticos.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> And that's the starting roster for Fabulosa Lucha Feminina. I hope you enjoy this little update.</p>
  5. <p>So I thought I would give a quick morning update for the progress. *yawn* Stayed up a little too late working on this, me thinks.</p><p> </p><p> Did an update to Sheila Outback Wrestling and because of the dumb initials (how did I not see that), and turned it into Sheila's Homely Outback Wrestling. Now Sheila's the name of the owner and I'll update the background for the company. I so love the idea I now have for this company, the background will be updated and you can look forward to it. You can currently see the updated logo above.</p><p> </p><p> As far as the database work goes, I'll start inputting the company rosters later today. I have them created with a few staffing exceptions. After getting the stats, names and the like in, I'll probably spend the rest of the day tweaking stats, filling in the backstories of the characters, fleshing out the companies and building the stage for this mod.</p><p> </p><p> If I'm lucky, and I don't break anything, I could have something up for testing by next week.</p>
  6. Thanks fullMETAL! When I originally did this up, I didn't realize photobucket does this lame thing. I have an imgur account so I'm using those links instead of what's already there. My bad! Its okay if they scramble the file names, as I'm just showing off the logos as they currently are done up. Those aren't the finalized versions, though they'll probably look something very similar to those when I'm done. About the only two logos I feel confident about are SOW and WPW. ...and I just now realized that Sheila Outback Wrestling initials make up SOW. T_T Ugh. Now I need to change that. I'll figure something out. Again, thanks for the help fullMETAL. I appreciate it. Now back to plugging away at the rosters and changing a logo. I'm up to 60ish people thought up, so getting closer to meeting the minimum amount of wrestlers required.
  7. Howdy folks. You may not know me, but I've lurked around for a long time. I've been playing since the days of EWR and I figured that I could finally, fi-na-lly, give back to the TEW community. This is my first time doing this, so if I created this thread wrong, I apologize. For the CornellVerse, I'm creating a mod called the Women's Pro Wrestling Alliance. The Women's Pro Wrestling Alliance will add 5 new female only companies to the database, introduce new female wrestlers to the game, and bump the in-ring only skills of many of the female wrestlers in the game. These companies will be placed into an Alliance of the same name as the mod. Here's the companies that this mod is going to provide. I will fully admit that I haven't written in eons and my graphical skills aren't at the best I can either. So please excuse my poor writing and logos (also photobucket watermarks). I'm hoping that the closer I get to launch, the writing and logos will look much better as I'll have more practice at it. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please let me know. Oh. And to answer some questions you may or may not already have. Releases - What To Expect Alpha - Just Companies, Starting Wrestlers Beta - Free Agent Wrestlers, Balancing Gamma - Touch Ups, Further Balancing Omega - Final Release, Any Mistakes If you have any further comments or questions, please feel free to add them here. Gods I'm nervous to post this. Edit 1: Moved logos to imgur from photobucket. Edit 2: I modified Sheila Outback Wrestling into Sheila's Homely Outback Wrestling. While LEWD was intentional, having a female company called SOW was not. Ugh. Why did I not realize that until recently? Edit 3: Updated with link to the Alpha of the Mod. Hoping to gather some feedback and to see what people think.
  8. <p>Got back into the game and right now trying to see how things work if I add a few female companies to the game, all at small. I put them into a consortium alliance for female wrestling to keep them afloat, as I was hoping that the game would create some more female wrestlers (I put created start at 2016, extremely high).</p><p> </p><p> Nearly at the end of the year and not many female wrestlers have joined the game so I'm a little concerned about signing wrestlers to written contracts (CWWF almost at Cult). As I don't want to hurt them.</p><p> </p><p> ...also find it funny that LEWD (League of Exciting Demoiselles) is doing better than me at momentum.</p>
  9. This is probably me. I just got burned out on 16 and with all the changes to 20, I think I'm going to love playing TEW again. A lot of the changes are literally what I was hoping would change with a new game, so I'm really hoping it'll be great. I'm loving the tournament and round robin stuff. I am so immediately going to set one up for said company just because it sounds deliciously fun. And stuff like this just gets my creative juices a flowing. I also think that this time around, I might try my hand at modding. I've got a company I'm thinking of, experimenting with it in 16, and it seems to work pretty well. It is especially interesting because I'm also running 3 brands right now, so if I can expand to 5, that could work out amazing or me. Though that depends on what all I can do with the different brands. Also can I just ask if there is going to be more female wrestlers in TEWVerse 2020? I've really gotten a kick out of running a female brand with said company that I'm working on and it is really hard trying to fill it out in 16 or wait for my developmental workers to be ready in time as the skill levels in 16 are pretty low. Yes, I could sign other company workers, but I want to work with unknowns and make my own stars, rather than depend or steal people (other than Alicia Strong, because USPW almost always fires her). Edit: Hey, is it possible for Dojos to produce tag teams now? I'm just curious, because I think it would be kind of neat if there was a Dojo or a few that just strictly went out of its way to produce Tag Teams. Not that I'm planning anything like that or what have you, just a thought.
  10. I'd probably suggest for Cruiserweights... Perhaps Action division, though that depends on if you run your division entirely on high flying or not.
  11. My kind of similar roster to AEW. Just who I'd pick, fill out and work with, I think. The Rock City Stars (The Young Bucks) ~ Rockin' Ryan Turner and Stan "The Man" Manna are probably the best choice here. A team that has never gotten a chance that would jump at the opportunity to get in on something like "The Primetime" (just a name like The Elite, it sucks I know). You would need to bump up their stats to get them into the same category as The Young Bucks though. Frankie Perez (Dustin Rhodes) & Jonnie Perez (Cody Rhodes) ~ You would think the obvious pick here is Greg and Matt, but the problem is those two are identical twins. You want to go with an significant age difference and that would be these two. In 2016 they would need to leave CZCW and be signed to probably USPW. Where Jonnie falls out in 2 years and rebuilds himself on the indies, then Frankie could be dumped just before the company starts up to more or less get something similar. Americana (Kenny Omega) ~ The thing about this pick is it needs someone who has had quite a lot of success in Japan. I would think that Americana would be entirely successful in one of the biggest companies in the world and have probably claimed the Super Junior title at least once maybe even twice during the 4 years between 2016 and 2020. Joshua Taylor might be an option, but I think Americana who's only made his living in Japan would be the better choice. "The Crippler" Chris Morrisette a.k.a. Lobster Warrior (Chris Jericho) ~ This was a tough call to find someone who could play a good Chris Jericho, but Lobster Warrior is probably the best. It was between him and Steven Parker, but I picked Morrisette due to age being a factor for a pick like Chris Jericho. Elliot Thomas (Hangman Page) ~ Since TCW is the ROH of the Cornellverse, it would stand to reason we need someone young who can benefit heavily from being associated with the group. Therefore, this is probably the best fit possible. Logan Wolfsbaine (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) ~ Young, has promising talent and just needs a chance, Logan would be the perfect fit to play this role. Not only that, you can give him a middle name if you want to give him the 3 letter initials, like say Samuel. LSW. Simony Sentinel (Brandi Rhodes, put her together with Jonnie) ~ About the only person I could pick who is pretty "okay" from AAA that I could see USPW signing and not really doing anything with her. Ariel Breaks (Britt Baker) ~ The Songstress fits the bill for this pick, because she's an actual singer, like how Britt Baker is an actual doctor. Could probably bump her up and build the division around. Laura Flame (Penelope Ford) ~ Laura feels like she should be that big female name that you'd see that should join a company but just continually books everywhere. Then Primetime would come calling and boom. Picked up. Alicia Strong (Awesome Kong) ~ Alicia almost always gets released in nearly every game I've played. If you wanted a big name for the female roster, this would be it. Emma Bitch ~ Just another big name signing for the female roster. I don't have a comparative to it. Rich and Famous (SoCal Uncensored) ~ Jackpot Jordon and Jake Idol would entirely fit the bill here for the tag team to resemble SoCal. Add in Donnie J to be the third member and boom. There's that. NEW - The Robar (Steal) Brothers: El Asalto and El Vandalo Jr. (Lucha Brothers) ~ Considering the Lucha Brothers only showed up in 2016, you'd have to create the similar pairing in TEW. Have them both be second generation stars of El Vandalo Sr. Also because I can't find a Mexican tag team that could fill all the check marks I'd need for it. ??? (Jon Moxley) ~ 21CW is where I would pull from because it has a list of talent that someone will eventually get misused. Also because you aren't going to find someone of that caliber over in USA, I think. I'd likely guess that it would be a group of War Machine, Leigh Burton and probably Bedlam, as they take over 21CW, with one of them (probably either Burton or Bedlam) coming out getting fed stuff that doesn't exactly work for them. If it was anyone, it would probably be Bedlam considering he's at a lower popularity. Also because Bedlam seems like the type of guy who should just choke people out and that's it and instead gets stuck with goofy crap that would upset him. And that's how I'd make a roster that's kind of similar to AEW. Whether you want to play that in TCW or make an entirely new company, is up to you. This isn't a full roster, but at least would give you a starting point to one and what you can do. Though, knowing our luck, TEW2020 will have the AEW version in it. After all, we've got 4 years to catch up on.
  12. <p>USPW - Probably going to become the juggernaut of the industry, but also falling into the same trappings as WWE. The product has gotten stale, misused talents and just some really dumb booking decisions. However, I don't think we'll be at the WWE levels of stupid, we'll be just as this all starts happening so that you can turn around and correct it.</p><p> </p><p> BHOTWG - This is going to be the company that gets everyone interested in Japanese wrestling, but not before the company gets hit with a huge cash of embezzlement/fraud that rocks the company's finances.</p><p> </p><p> 21CW - Cornell's company is just hitting the prime time stage and is looking to make a run on other companies at this stage. The new wrestlers have all made impacts and are must watch TV for 21CW because of it. In terms of firepower, 21CW has the most. Does not have a TV deal outside of the UK/a part of Europe (not sure which part), so continued growth will be hard.</p><p> </p><p> SOTBPW - They've finally secured a great TV deal in all of NA, however, Champagne Lover has retired leaving a massive hole at the top of the company. You might be able to convince him to come back, but you better be prepared to deal with life without your Lover.</p><p> </p><p> NOTBPW - Still looking to snag a better TV deal outside of Canada, but after swallowing up CGC, there isn't another major company in Canada who can contend with them right now.</p><p> </p><p> CZCW - This company is moving on up. It has stolen away some prime stars from other competitors, snagged a prime time US TV deal and is looking on pushing up to the top of the world.</p><p> </p><p> SWF - Probably split apart by the two sons. One going for the more attitude, one going for the more friendly. Both in a working agreement with the other unless or until something goes wrong. Still with a TV deal, though can either company keep it up is the question (both are on the same channel, one on Monday, one on Thursday).</p><p> </p><p> TCW - Having fallen and lost quite a bit of talent, TCW continues to thrive as the workrate darlings of the indies and probably is actually more financially successful for doing so than having the big audiences. Does not have a TV deal anymore.</p><p> </p><p> That's for the guesses from companies I've regularly played.</p><p> </p><p> I would say though that we're probably going to end up with a lot more new companies as we're probably going to have a wrestling boom right now. I'd probably say each country will have 3 smalls, 1 regional added to the game. I'd also guess that on top of those we'll likely see about 9 female only federations open up (2 in Canada, 2 in US, 2 in Japan, 1 in Mexico, 1 in UK/Europe, 1 in Australia). Just so that you can get in any flavor of female wrestling you'd like in.</p><p> </p><p> I have no idea how India will play out, so I'm not going to speculate on that. Will say though, it'll be interesting to see how that works out.</p>
  13. <p>Man, these guys all need to be in the game. Also, I wouldn't mind Gorgeous stepping on Teddy's toes. Perfect rivals!</p><p> </p><p> Though, the swimsuit thing is golden.</p>
  14. Okay, Big Ben (HOW DID I MISS HIM?!) either needs to be a like a new star bursting onto 21CW's scene, or Big Ben is the star of a new British company that opens in 2016. He's like a million bucks.
  15. I seemed to have missed that a new federation was coming. Gravy! I can then poach him (and others) away then!
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="King Bison" data-cite="King Bison" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45984" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">"Pretty" Teddy Thompson</span></strong></p><p> <img alt="SFTiJ5v.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SFTiJ5v.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> Dear God, he's exactly what I was thinking he'd be. Awesome!</p><p> </p><p> And honestly I would want to try playing with everyone who's from the Titan Factory!</p><p> </p><p> This is going to be so cool. I wonder if Ted will be a free agent when he is listed as debuting. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I can't wait! ...well, I can, but the anticipation is killing me.</p>
  17. <p>Oh man. This is so cool. I actually would put these guys in the federation I'm building.</p><p> </p><p> And thanks for letting me know I did it correctly. I'm glad I did. I can't wait to see him in this. Really, thank you for doing this.</p>
  18. BTW King Bison you weren't the only one who was weirded out by the fact that Titan had no actual people that graduated from it. I just never got around to doing what you are doing, which is awesome.
  19. You know, I really think the Titan Factory would allow big women by 2016. Hope I do this right. Ring Name: Teddy Age: 19 Debut: December 2015 Character Description: Grand Forks BC's Theodore Thompson is a young wrestler who just loves the 'sport and wants to be one of the best possible. Hearing about Dread's school, he took the chance to learn from one of the "best". Dread decided that the best possible style for Teddy was to combine his striking work, with his grappling and mat abilities. It worked and he soon established himself as a great big guy to work with. Height: 6'7 Weight: 290 lbs. Worker Type: Either Puroresu or MMA Crossover. I'm just not sure which would fit him. And I'm not sure Dread would train for either of these, woudl he? Finisher: Heaven's Wrath Secondary: World's Best Spinebuster Ultimate: Xiùlán Lock Gimmick: Heel - Raging Bull, Face - No Gimmick Needed Skills: I don't have the proper names on me, but here's what I think he should be. Brawl - 63 Puroresu - 60 Hardcore - 3 Grappling - 57 Mat Work - 33 Submissions - 14 Aerial - 5 Flashiness - 67 -Performance - Should be average, except consistency which is epic. -Physical - Not very athletic, strength is good enough for a big guy, toughness is a little low side, can withstand nearly you throw at him though (so resilience is high). Stamina's probably average. -Entertainment - Charisma is great, the others need work though. Probably below average. -Camera - Amazingly he's damn well gorgeous (women would find him cute), and not really menacing because of it. Star quality is great as well. Performance: From 0-100 If this is conccerning like reputation and stuff, he's probably just got a little because he just started in December. So like 51 or 53 for reputation or respect (whichever stars at 50 for newbies) and then like 1-7 for the other stat. Has no skills in anything except announcing, in which he's surprisingly good at. -Babyface -Heel - Probably high 60s for both. I think. -Cool - In the 30s -Cocky - 20s -Crazy - 60s -Legit - 60s -Comedy - 40s -Weasel - 1s -Brute - 60s -Weird 60s -Wholesome 60s So in essence, he's a great guy to have on the roster, but needs work to go farther than that. Did I do this right? I hope I did.
  20. Well had to restart my previous game because I realized I made the main event title for a created fed, Dragon Kingdom Pro Wrestling's, main title require a tag team, while the tag team was actually singles. Whoops. So after the restart, I've managed to work my way back to August 2018. Also kept the original intent of Pro Wrestling HONOUR from the Thunderverse and made it a woman's division again. I did modify my heavy title to be the only main and my junior title to be my mid card. Because why be the same as every other Japanese federation, right? My 5 top stars right now via popularity are: BISON Yano, Greg Gauge (Heavy), Yu Hashimoto (Ladies), Thrill Seeker and Konrad Makinen. I thankfully got to keep Greg Gauge when he was injured for a long time (missed nearly a year) so BHOTWG's didn't steal him from me before I reached Cult and then I signed him to a long term deal. Same with Konrad. While my intensity is 80%, my match danger is 10%, so I'm not too worry about him getting injured. Wasn't wrestling for me when he did. My 5 franchise players are: Dian James, Konrad Makinen, Greg Gauge, PJ Strong, and BISON Yano. I'm like jk in that the top part of my card has a lot of foreign talent in it, yet if you looked at the rest of my card, it is filled with talent from within the country. I'm particularly surprised that this time around I can't get Rikyu Kada (owner) out of midcard. Because he's so good, he usually just ascends easily. Oh and hilarious fact this time around. I nearly got myself fired. Rikyu put up a goal during I think my second year (2017) of retaining so much money. I forgot that the timer was going to be up during when the tour ends. So I went under and if it wasn't for the other goal passing (do not allow popularity to fall), I was about to be fired. Also, Kada continually has sabotaged all my attempts to sign great people. The original Acid is a free agent and VENOM too, but I can't sign either one. He keeps giving me "don't sign anyone over 35(or 40)". You have no idea how infuriating it is that I can't sign those two. WLW or PGHW will sign them, I bet. Yes, if I wasn't like half way to being fired, I would definitely break that goal. The other thing he does is continually go "I'm only paying so much" any time a great star is available. Even with millions in the bank, I can't sign the likes of Matthew Keith, Azumaro Keita, Ant-Man, Orange Tsuchie, etc. because he keeps telling me that. INFURIATING. Frugal prude. Dreading when people's contracts come up. If they aren't loyal, they going bye bye.
  21. <p>So I was getting a few of my talent that I promote to the main roster come along and ask for raises. Without pausing, I saw Akihiro Nakata ask for one and figured, "well sure, why not".</p><p> </p><p> Ping. Typical thank you message. Wait...</p><p> </p><p> WHY AM I PAYING HOW MUCH?!</p><p> </p><p> NEARLY THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND?</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Q5SUYVj.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Q5SUYVj.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Sure I made it so he's an aspiring actor and musician, but that's...</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="ytmtFMy.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ytmtFMy.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Uh... He's Japan only.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="cfqvnmR.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cfqvnmR.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Okay, I don't see how that works when it isn't finished yet. Wait that means he'll become more popular, won't he?</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="QMpjTmN.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/QMpjTmN.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> I haven't even had him in a match on the main roster and the guy is now already more over than practically everyone in my roster.</p><p> </p><p> Correction, he's now the most popular person in my company and it isn't even close.</p><p> </p><p> Correction to that correction, he's now one of the most popular wrestlers in the world. Geezus.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="kZ85mZS.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kZ85mZS.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Uh Spanish? Not English? Me thinking me make creation booboo.</p><p> </p><p> Ah! He's not filming but starring on "The Young and the Fearless" isn't he? Sure, my head canon explanation, but I'll take it.</p><p> </p><p> ...his reputation is weak, so I'm going to need to push him to the moon to get him over that hump to make the most of this. Undefeated streak it is!</p>
  22. <p>Temes, easy one for you on the first one. Pride and Prudence. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> See?</p><p> </p><p> Muscles and Johns. Punny name, but why not? Are they not both Muscles and Johns? I think so!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Could I get a little bit of help? I was more trying to create a modification to the database by creating my only little thing and I'm still playing it because it is fun.</p><p> </p><p> I've currently got Moon Suh and Saori Fujishima as Golden Glamour. They are a really good tag team and have pretty much held my tag team division together. They are currently the only two time winners, in fact they've held the title 4 times now.</p><p> </p><p> I'm torn on what to do here. I'm tempted to keep them as champions and perhaps give another team the rub. However, with them having reached the Uppercard, it almost makes more sense to vacate the Tag title and try mixing them into a title picture. Surprisingly my Junior division is lacking top tier talent. It would also make sort of sense that they might want to challenge for a title, especially considering that Alicia Strong is my current Junior champion.</p><p> </p><p> It isn't like I need them in the tag division at the moment anyways I've got tons of talent that can vie for the belts, so it isn't like it would be hurting things there.</p><p> </p><p> Yet at the same time, I think they are going to be capped at Uppercard for the next while due to the Young Lion issue. It wasn't until nearly the end of the year that I finally got the owner (whom I'm playing), Rikyu Kada (best wrestler in the world!), over the hump of that same issue and that took nearly two full years. So hold them off for a year, let them and The Outlaws (the other team I am having the same issue with) battle it out for the tag titles then move both of them up after that seems like a reasonable idea as well.</p><p> </p><p> I'm also wondering what I should do about my Heavyweight championship. I was actually planning on letting Emperor (Eien) Miyamoto retain for the full 9 month tour, but due to me forgetting the victor tag for him, Sessue Toyotomi is now my Heavyweight champion after my only event, Final Challenge. I do sort of want to promote Sessue as this fluke champion and have my Emperor win his title back, yet at the same time the guy I wanted to overthrow him is also waiting in the wings. I was positioning Logan Wolfsbaine for that like right at the start fo the new year.</p><p> </p><p> At least my Junior championship is secure and I know where that is going. Alicia Strong is the champion and it is going to be her, Rikyu Kada, Americana and Storm Spillane fighting over it.</p>
  23. <p>Decided to get back into the TEW swing of things by playing a custom game of TEW. Backstory of it is that some federations in Japan wanted to keep the traditions alive. Had it be my federation (HONOUR), All Japan Joshi, Dragon Kingdom Pro Wrestling, Black Canvas Grappling and eventually Japanese Championship Wrestling come together to help prop each other up.</p><p> </p><p> In Jan 2019 of my game the following has happened:</p><p> </p><p> 2016 and 2017 didn't really have anything of note. A few companies had experienced some difficulties financially, but otherwise everyone was fine. Got to cult in December of 2016 (started as regional).</p><p> </p><p> <strong>March 2017</strong>Youth Energy Pro Wrestling opened.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>August 2017</strong> - I signed PGHW's entire dojo class. I'm still waiting for them to make it out of my minor league, Gateway Action Wrestling, but I figured to deal PGHW a huge blow by doing so. At the time they were at Cult, so they didn't even sign them. I made sure they didn't get the chance.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jan 2018</strong> - Total Championship Wrestling was taken over by Sam Keith. TCW was pushed all the way down to Cult, so they made a change in leadership because of it. Sam's brought them back up, however due to SOTBPW invading the US, all the US companies had issues.</p><p> </p><p> Natsu Miyamae also took over PGHW as its lead booker, leaving me and hurting the top of my card as he was my lead guy there.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Feb 2018</strong> - Due to my aggressive 2017, Tetsuzan Koneko was out at BHOTWG. I was happy all of two minutes. Yoshimi Musashibo took over and has recovered from the drop to Cult.</p><p> </p><p> Sadly Pro Wrestling Saisho also closed its doors. It was just one of many issues that PGHW had had that year.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>March 2018</strong> - I left SSWA due to them draining my resources. Pissed everyone off doing that, because I took my 150 wrestlers away from everyone. Well, I might not have had 150 at that time, I do now though (70 in HONOUR, 80 in Gateway Action Wrestling). At this time Youth Energy Professional Wrestling opened up as well.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>May 2018</strong> - Fearing South of the Border Professional Wrestling's invasion of the US market, SWF got drastic. They bought up struggling NOTBPW. Though that did allow me to sign Sean McFly and get him to boost up my awesome star, Logan Wolfsbaine.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sep 2018</strong> - BHOTWG did the impossible and bought up the struggling Pride Glory Honor Wrestling. PGHW is no more and frankly, that helped me out as I'm fighting BHOTWG, WLW and GCG at Cult. One less company to fight is one less company I have to deal with.</p><p> </p><p> You could almost say that me signing that class was an indication that they were going to die. If you are wondering, I didn't have the resources to buy them out, that was done by BHOTWG.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Oct 2018</strong> - Held my 3rd Final Challenge. While I did set things up favorably, it made me really appreciative to get to this point. I had a surprise Heavyweight champion after I forgot to set the former Champion as the winner. I also did a lot for female wrestling by having the 3 time tag champions retain, while also having the first female to hold a major title as Junior Champion.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dec 2018</strong> - Youth Energy Pro Wrestling close. So short a live I didn't even realize this happened.</p><p> </p><p> So all in all, while my first 2 years 16 & 17) were pretty uneventful. This last year has just been an all in all barn burner. Unfortunately USPW has gotten the Riviere upgrades, so they're about to lord over everyone here soon. Which will suck. But first, I've got to fight my way out of the 4 way Cult fight between myself, GCG, WLW and BHOTWG.</p>
