  1. I don't think anyone's done L-Ring's belts or graphics before.
  2. While I'm working on my created federation and a second playthrough (October, wee) I'm currently in my 5th month of negative money (please don't let me go bankrupt) and had the two weirdest thing happen. 21CW just let Tommy Cornell walk with USPW picking him up. Which I found wild, because I wouldn't've thought 21CW would let Tommy go. The other is that CWA is in even worse shape than I am at the moment. I'm only like 5k in the hole, but CWA is like nearly 7m in the whole. I'm almost hoping I go bankrupt after them.
  3. A weird thing but neat thing while I was working with a particular federation. So TCW has been plugging along pretty well and gained a slew of new recruits (5) for their product. The day after this happens TCW decide to change their product from Classic Southern Rasslin' to Classic Wild West wrestling. Thought that was pretty neat that the product can change because of incoming or future talents. I'm sure there were other factors perhaps, but I'd like to think it was they saw the new talent and was like "this product suits us better for the future".
  4. Both are glorious, but the first reminds me of someone... Gods, it is one the tip of my tongue. That's going to bother me. I'd use that one, but have the second as definitely an alt. Great stuff! Honestly, you are doing an amazing job with this mod for pictures. I wish I was half as talented as you. And I can't wait to see more from this and add it and the women's revolution to my game.
  5. Overall, pretty good. I think you are building nicely and I'm glad you've managed to find a groove with the roster. That's always the hardest part is figuring out how the roster works or doesn't work and what you need to do to get from point a to point b. More story is probably what I'd recommend to flesh this diary out a bit more. People fall in love with diaries more for the personalities we give the rosters, than for the cards themselves. I mean, cards don't hurt too, after all, can't have a game without them. However, how we associate with the characters gives all the fuel for the flavour. Though that's just my two cents. Definitely will keep checking in though.
  6. crownsy, honestly, just keep working at your diary. Is all I can say. I've had a few and it took me awhile before people would write anything to mine in reply or that. It just takes commitment and eventually, they'll come.
  7. Check and see if your matches require a certain amount of time to elapse. Most Japanese products require around 20 minutes to be able to access the full rating scale. If they performed just so-so, you could've lost some ratings from that. Did you slow build the match as well? Something I like to do with 16+ minute matches is slow build them to lessen how tired wrestlers are and to heighten the build up for the match. Did the match that came before it also perform well? Sometimes you need to watch if you've had a really hot match before the one previous, because it can sometimes burn out the crowd. If you burn them out, it doesn't really matter how good the next match after that is, you can get dinged for it. Though, you would've seen something in road agents if that was the case, so I don't think it'd be that. Did you make sure that you've met all your goals for necessary matches? A technical masterclass or wild brawl, type of deal. If you don't happen to have those, you can sometimes ding the entire card. I mean, one time I forgot to add a technical masterclass and my entire card was dinged with -10. I was sad about that. Do you - as the player character - have enough points in Motivation? Motiviation determines on how well you (the player) can get your roster to perform. You want to make it pretty high to get guys to perform to their best. I'd recommend at least 7 to make sure you'll usually get a guys putting out the best match for you. They might've had an off night. Well, they can still have off nights even if you have 10, but the higher Motivation is, the less the chances of that happening are. Just some of the questions I have for you (or anyone really) who might be having trouble. If it was none of that, then I would need to know more about the exact match itself, because I'd be at a loss if it wasn't any of the above. Kind of think it might be that 20 minute thing though.
  8. TL;DR: at the very end if you just want to read my main point of the post. The issue some people are probably having with CWA is the focus of matches and angles. The roster isn't quite able to do it. Right now Match Focus for CWA is set for Ensemble which means the card match rating is set to be 40% of whatever the main event is worth, 40% of whatever the best match (that isn't the main event) is worth, and 20% of whatever is remaining. Angle Focus of Highlights means the top 3 angles get averaged out, so if one of your top 3 bomb, you are kind of screwed. Sorry jesterX7769, I'm borrowing your card to illustrate why CWA needs to swap off of those (if you are playing them). This is what you get if you've got Ensemble and Highlights: DeColt opening (entertainment): 82 McFly over Deeley with Price interferrence: 55 (poor chemistry and broken finger) Angle with Allen and Snow (Entertainment): 62 Skip Beau over Jared Johnson: 62 (in ring performances of 67 and 69???) Ricky DeColt over Rivera: 59 (lee rivera very off his game) Angle with Brooke Tyler and Lauren Easter (entertainment): 62 Vessey vs Strong, Knight at ringside: 75 Overall show: 67 Highlights - DeColt opening is great at 85, but the next entertainment value is followed by 2 62s. That's 206 total of a possible 300. Divide that by 3 and we get 68.6 repeating, so let's say 69. Which is all you get for Angles for this show. Matches - Ensemble means that we get 75% of 40 which is 30. The next highest match on the card means we only get 62% of 40 which is 24.8, so let's say 25. Without even getting to the last 20%, we've only manage to collect a total of 55 at this point. The last 20% is the average of the rest of the matches: 57. Which is to say 57% of 20, which is 11.4, which rounds down to 11. Meaning for matches we earned only 68 for matches. Now, you might be saying, but wait, if that's the case, how is it 67? Well, that's probably due to a penalty incurred from either Angles or Matches. I could also be off with my rounding. I'll assume penalty though and say a single point loss isn't bad for a penalty, but that still hurts. With CWA, I don't think they can currently run it when a person is running the company. An idea is doing either Main Event Focus (90% from main event, 10% everything else) and Angle Tight Focus (90% highest rated, 10% second highest) or going Regular Focus on both. Or a combination of either, but I'd stick to these. If you were to do Main Event & Tight, borrowing JesterX's card again: Main Event was 75 so that's 75% of 90 which is 67.5 (68). Rest of the card is overall 59, which is 59% of 10, which is 5.9 (6). Meaning match wise, it would've gotten 73. Angles would've been highest angle which is 82% of 90 which is 73.8 (74). Second highest angle is 62% of 10, which is 6.2 (6). Meaning angle wise it would be 80. Meaning that card would've been rated as either 76 or 77 (depending on rounding). That's a ten point difference and you won't get penalized for it. Though, this strategy does put all your eggs in one basket. Though, I'd rather bank on my best angle and match than worry about if the rest of my card succeeded or not. If you go with Regular or Main for matches, and Regular or Tight for angles, you'll probably do better with CWA. Especially if you want to use the Women's Division consistently. There is a reason to run Ensemble / Consistent(Angle Equiv). If you pull them off, you get a bonus for the show as a reward. Also, because of CWA's roster, that's probably why it is set up for Ensemble. Because the whole roster should succeed, not just the main event. You can leave it and try to make it succeed. I mean, that's probably a good part of the challenge with CWA. However, if I'm running CWA, I'm going to run either Regular or Main for matches, Regular or Tight for angles. TL;DR: Swap off Ensemble Match Focus and Highlights Angle Focus for either Regular or Main Event/Tight for either/or for CWA. I believe it'll work out better for you as the player.
  9. Worker Name: Bodhi Odda Worker Size: Current - Lightweight Smallest - Lightweight Heaviest - Heavyweight Worker Appearance: Short description (or post a reference picture) He's 5'9 in height, weight is around 190 lbs, toned, has a glorious beard, his eyes are blue, and his looks are decent. If that seems a general way of describing him, that's because that's how his looks are. Pretty ordinary without his glorious beard. Birth Month/Year: January, 2001 Debut Month/Year: January, 2020 Nationality: India Available Starting Areas: India/Europe Worker Gimmicks (Face/Heel): Underdog - Underdog Unstable - Loose Cannon Worker Bio: Bodhi Odda is a young Delhian just starting his wrestling career. A graduate of the Mumbai Wrestling Academy, he looks to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Kashmir Singh. His beard is quite glorious and other than his brawling, it is his main selling point about him. Alter-Ego's (with description): None Dojo Graduate: Mumbai Wrestling Academy (January 2020) Worker Relationships: Bodhi Odda is a protege of Kashmir Singh. Worker Personality/Attributes: Better As A Face Prodigy People Person (<-permanent) Experience: Trainee - Very good fundamentals though. Worker Type/Style: Brawler - Most skilled in brawling, with a modest secondary skill of technical. He isn't flashy or stiff though. Doesn't have a D in athletics so he can't really fly. Hasn't participated in any hardcore training (as it isn't his thing). Skills: Average (I think?) - The skills though are highly slanted to his brawling / charisma. Athleticism: Athleticism and Strength are probably 30ish. I think that's lower than D, and also why he's a Brawler. Entertaining: Low microphone and acting, but great charisma. Looks: Good - Thanks to his glorious beard. Hope that helps you out with Bodhi. BTW, you can modify his bio to make it work better with everything here. Also thanks for doing something like this, I appreciate your hard work.
  10. For me a major selling point is the ability to open up a worker's area that they don't work in. Well, assuming the worker is okay with it. There's guys I wanted to bring into my federation in 2016 that I just couldn't because I couldn't bring them into where I was working. You have no idea how much fun it was to be able to go "oh hey, if I should ask this worker if he'll come to Japan" and it worked. I use Japan because I'm working on a federation there, but now that you can do it anywhere, you can now bring in that hot prospect who isn't getting any love in Mexico to your product in Australia. That's a major reason I avoided places like Europe or Australia was just that the talent pool was bad. Now though? Hey, the talent pool is the entire world. Oh yeah, you know India and worrying about the talent pool there? Yeah, you can just go fix that easily.
  11. I just mean like if you have a great show it boosts it. Say you are Tiny, so your shows should be like say 20-25 to acceptable, 40-45 for a great show. Yet instead, you manage to pull of a 50-60 show unbelievable show. ...please bare with the numbers, I know it isn't exactly how TEW does it. It is those blow the sealing off the place types of shows I was referring to. Not if you just happen to get a better than average show. Also this is just an added bonuses of running tours. If you blow off the house, you get that popularity boost. You don't have to aim, you can just continue to book away at your leisure. This way, there's an incentive to go out of your way, but if you don't necessarily need to do it. ----- Perhaps another way of doing it is doing an overall grade of the tour and giving a possible boost via popularity and sponsor ships. That way if perform solidly over the entire course of the tour, you get rewarded for it. This actually might be a better way to go, because then you are aiming for a good tour overall, rather than just worrying about it from a show perspective. You want the entire tour to succeed in this case. You can also just set it up as just getting a passing grade for the tour.
  12. I think it would probably be a good idea to give out higher popularity boosts for great shows during touring dates. Even more so if you hold an event during the tour. This way, you can have these chances at higher popularity boosts which can increase your amount of money and popularity. This means if say you have a 20-25 day tour, and you manage to successful pull off 15-20 great shows, instead of the normal 1 popularity boosts per show (so 20), you get 2 per show (now 40). Okay, the numbers are unrealistic, also chances of you pulling off 20 great shows is low, but you get what I mean. Good tours should have the chances of increasing your popularity more than if you were constant is why you should do touring over constant. Just because touring should have some better positives. Also maybe lower touring show costs so that they are cheaper to run, thereby adding even more money into your own pocket. Just a thought at least.
  13. <p>Damn, I love those last three. I'm so going to put them into my game. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Thanks Kam!</p><p> </p><p> Oh man, you know, you could put Wrestling into The Power Zone and I think it would work. Like The Wrestling Power Zone! . And then The Power Zone! could be like the TV show name. Just a thought.</p>
  14. Backyard BBQ Brawl ~ You have to invade someone else's BBQ for the match to even begin! Standard brawlish things. Bouncy Castle Slammery ~ You are in a Bouncy Castle's Jail. The mission, since you must, is to break out and be the first one out of the Bouncy Castle. From Jail to Escape. And you can't pop the Castle to win. Do so and you lose. Get These Wrestlers Off This Plane ~A Battle Royal inside an old Army Cargo Plane. Only way to get someone out of it is tossing out the cargo hold.
  15. <p>Could we perhaps have them (The Mercenarios) instead in the database as Mercenario Uno, Mercenario Dos, Mercenario Tres, Mercenario Cuatro, Mercenario Cinco, and Mercenario Seis for the Mercenario names? This way can let each one live on as a possible legacy.</p><p> </p><p> Yes, I realize that could lead to Mercenario Cinco VI or Mercenario Tres XXI, but think of the fun you can have with it!</p><p> </p><p> Also because I honestly thought they were successors, as when I see roman numerals in a name (in TEW), I think of successors. Rather than siblings. Kind of sucked the wind out of my plans (as I wanted successors for my goal) Didn't even realize even more of them were coming until I went to the database to edit it to Mercenario Uno, Dos and Tres (the other 3 come later in future years).</p><p> </p><p> I realize something like this is kind of small and not necessary to suggest, but wasn't sure where else I should put it. So sorry if this is really small on the suggestions list.</p>
  16. Will, you rock. Seriously that new logo for CWWF is so amazing. The moment I saw it, I was like "this needs to be a real TEW20 company now". Instead of being Inactive. Geezus. Great stuff!
  17. <p>My boys were Austin Smooth and Quentin Queen. Always would sign them. Usually made them into the team called Silky Soft. Yeah, and that's because of their names so I made them heels who were all about enjoying the big life.</p><p> </p><p> I'd also sign up my gals, Maria Guest and Sandra Shine. Put them into a tag team called Guest & Shine. Just a happy go lucky face team.</p>
  18. Thread's still up, so I'm assuming we're allowed to submit more options for Products. So, I'll suggest one I was toying with in TEW16 and using all the flavourings of TEW16 to explain. Okay, I'm just stealing thadian's idea. It was a good way to do it. All these can haveYoung Lions active. Well, except for my last suggestion. Product Name: Striker Traditional Product Structure Traditional: Key Feature Mainstream/Hyper Realism: Medium Intensity: 60% Danger: 30% -Effects- ~ Performance/Popularity are roughly even. Though I would say this product leans more closely towards Popularity than Performance, so say 40/60. ~ Due to intensity 40% Angles for Shows, 10% for Events. ~ Puroresu, Hardcore and Aerial all are less effective in this style. Which is great, because this is supposed to be about people punching and kicking each other. ~ Gimmicks are required, but they can't be subtle. People are here for entertainment in their gimmicks. ~ Can not get shows on Afternoon or Early Evening. ~ Favorable to sponsors. Product Name: Striker Entertainment Product Structure Mainstream: Key Feature Traditional/Hyper Realism: Medium Intensity: 20% Danger: 20% -Effects- ~ Though TEW2016 says product is evenly split between, that's a lie. A product like this should be skewed towards popularity over performance. 30/70 split. ~ 70% Angles for Shows, 30% for Events. <_< Just keeping it nice and neat. ~ Puroresu, Hardcore and Aerial all are less effective in this style. Which is great, because this is supposed to be about people punching and kicking each other. ~ Gimmicks are required, but subtle will not be responded to well. Storylines are required as well. ~ Can not get shows on Afternoon or Early Evening. ~ Quite favorable to sponsors. Product Name: Striker Sport Product Structure Hyper Realism: Key Feature Mainstream/Traditional: Medium Intensity: 80% Danger: 40% -Effects- ~ Though TEW2016 says product is evenly split between, that's a lie. A product like this should be skewed towards performance over popularity. 90/10 split. ~ 10% Angles for Shows, 10% for Events. ~ Puroresu, Hardcore and Aerial all are less effective in this style. Which is great, because this is supposed to be about people punching and kicking each other. ~ Gimmicks are not required. What's a storyline? ~ On Demand or Graveyard only for TV. ~ Still somewhat favorable to sponsors. This style was something I whipped up in TEW16, thinking about a kind of old school product but if it was MMA Influenced. I also wanted a product that would rely heavily on the brawling type. This is what I managed. If I had to guess, I'd probably say that most matches would last around 10 minutes. After all only so much you can do with brawls and strikefests. Also, before you ask, it is only those three products that make up the Striker products. Wanted a mainstream, old school (original) and sport based so as to give a little flavour for people wanting to use a certain type. One more thing, could we perhaps have the following addition too: Spotfest - Just what crazy spot or flip is coming next? That's all anyone cares about. This would be a Spot Monkey's dream company. I'd suspect it would be heavily Entertainment based and actually less matches than you'd think because you'd want everyone to be salivating over the spots that could be pulled. Just feel like highflying doesn't seem to have a lot of specific flavours for them. Thanks as always Adam for the game and here's hoping TEW20 is the best yet.
  19. <p>So I just found out you can send yourself to your Training Facility if you've got one. Though I had it as a Performance Center (where you could send 14 wrestlers) so that could make a difference.</p><p> </p><p> It was quite fun finding that out. Now I can start up a company and have myself learn to become a wrestler before I actually debut in front of the camera.</p><p> </p><p> That'll be an interesting thing to work with now.</p><p> </p><p> One More Thing: I turned off all colors in the preferences area and just having it all white without any other colors actually makes the screen easier to look at for me.</p>
  20. Adam, could we get a confirm and cancel/reset for Brands when creating them in the Database of the Fed we're working on? Please? I'm really annoyed trying to get it to work, when it holds onto my previous brands no matter what or just duplicates the last one I made.
  21. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="combolock" data-cite="combolock" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47578" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Where do you see this? In my editor there are no companies yet to open.</div></blockquote><p> If you check under Yet To Open for India, it'll have Delhi Superstar Pro Wrestling and Mumbai Grand Prix Wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> Also, funny enough, American League of Fighters is in the game as a new company. That's quite interesting.</p>
  22. Okay, so I stand corrected about India. You get a headstart. Two companies can open up in India after 2022, so you'll have 2 years head start if you start a company in 2020 there. Or you just bid your time for 2 years elsewhere until they open.
  23. Canada and England are both down to just two companies each. Though if you told me CGC and NOTBPW were going to combine, that wouldn't've been my first guess. SOTBPW changed its name and I'm kind of surprised it did. Though, considering they lost Champagne Lover to Hollywood, kind of expected. Quite a few new faces over the last four years. There's a dude named Matt Blackburn who I must sign away from BHOTWG's right away. Dude's the next biggest star in the game if handled right. He's actually with PGHW, my bad. Women's wrestling didn't expand like I had hoped. Was at least hoping like Canada or England had started up a women's federation. Especially considering Alicia Strong is still in USPW and the 11th most popular wrestler in the world (she's TEW's Chyna). Australia hasn't changed too much. Europe is still trudging on. India is completely bare of talent or companies. So, that's going to make things interesting there because you can stake your claim to TEW history by coming up with a federation for there. This is going to be a lot of fun, I think. My wheels are already turning for what I can do here.
  24. Thanks man for doing this. My 5 to 1 are HHH Steve Austin The Rock Eddie Guerrero Chris Jericho
