    Just wanted to check and see if anyone else was getting tired of watching the Monday Night Wars series on the WWE network?

     

    When they started, I ate them up and really enjoyed them, as it was my favorite period in wrestling. But as they continue, the revisionist history is almost too much to bear. They actually tend to paint Vince McMahon as some sort of plucky underdog David taking on Ted Turner's Goliath.

     

    I understand that history is written by the victors, but they are getting ridiculous. I find myself wondering how WCW would have made the same series if they had won and launched their own network.

     

    Thoughts?

     

    I enjoy them even though what happend and WWE verison of what happend are 2 different things. I hated the Montreal Screwjob episode because it pretty much only gave you part truths about what happend. I enjoyed the Mick Foley episode aswell and the crusierweight episode.

     

    I also found it annoying that WWE imply that WCW ripped off Steve Austins look for Goldberg.

     

    Chris Jericho was in full WWE Kiss arse mode during his episode. I hated the whole "yeah I was with WCW but really I wanted to be with WWE" BS.

    To me this match wasn't all that great, was it good? Yes but I just didn't care about the match going into this show and wasn't a fan of the match overall. hopefully the storyline ends because these two women don't seem to click at all at least for me. And as far as AJ being Sexy she's hot but she needs to eat a sandwich or five because she's hella skinny.

     

    Is AJ a face? because she just comes across as a deadset bitch lol she just doesnt look like she wants to be there at all.

    2 things.

     

    1) I think it would be AWESOME and HILIARIOUS if at some point Ambrose put on a bad dark wig (with badly painted blond streak) and fake beard and pretended to be Rollins for a promo.

    Anybody else think that too?

     

    2) For those of you with the WWE Network, there's apparently a short 3-and-a-half minute featurette about "Creating the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship".

    If possible, could anybody who watches it on computer or tablet screencap the plates' design proofs at about 50-55sec, 1:16, 1:32, 1:38, and 1:50?

    Somebody recorded it with their camera so I've provided caps of the specific frames from THAT below, in the hopes that one of you who can cap it directly from the video (or even the actual video itself at 720p or 1080p) can provide better shots.

    I thought Henry Vs Rusev was really dull. How come Swagger didnt get the same treatment Henry got? I thought Swaggers gimmick is that his a Patriot. why didnt Lilian Garcia sing for him?

     

    I also found Jericho/Orton to be boring, Jericho is half the wrestler he use to be I guess age has caught up to him.

     

    I also over AJ. she was so refreshing when she came onto the scene but now she just annoys me. I dunno if it was her character or not but she really didnt seem that interested being out there for NOC and just seemed to be going though the motions.

    I liked this week's Raw. They announced that some good ol' WCW Nitro was finally coming to the WWE Network!!!!! Great news for me... when I finally am able to get the Network myself pretty soon. Other things happened too, I'm sure, but off the top of my head... I can't remember what exactly...

     

    Episodes of Nitro though?

     

    Always a good thing in my book.

    I think its only the first 100 hours of nitro going up. personally cant wait only got the network to watch WCW. The 60 man battle royals at WW3 PPV are such a mess of a match lol

     

    the Mondays Night Wars series started last week which I enjoyed watching but is very much proWWE lol they make WWE out like they had the younger stars who had better matches than WCW with the old guys who only had star power.

    So from midnight tomorrow to midnight Monday, Vince Russo will be donating any money he gets from people becoming VIP subscribers to his website to the Fighting Back cancer charity. He's doing this completely unprompted and he even appeared on newLegacy's stream twice to join in. With all of this info, Russo's went up in my eyes. He gets a lot of stick online for his booking but he seems like a genuinely nice guy who is up for a laugh. He even took part in nL fantasy booking WWE on EWR (Hopefully the video goes up on Youtube soon).

     

    I must admit I do find myself hating Russo less these days than I use to. I find most of his "shoot" videos entertaining and he does make alot of sense when he explains stuff. Although I HATE that he calls wrestling fake.

    <p>A new zombie survival game is on its way out in about 4 weeks called H1Z1 made by Sony online entertainment and made with the planet side 2 engine. they are saying that there will be 1000 player mega servers for the game with crafting, building all that stuff too and well zombies too lol</p><p> </p><p>

    Im hope full that this game will give Dayz a big kick in the butt and make them start getting there shit together. the game is a mess and for every 1 bug they fix they create 2 it seems.</p>

    I am not sure if what I am about to say is the case or not, but I thought a lot of those "fans" were not really fans in the first place. I remember reading a few months ago that TNA had put some models (Female and Male) in the front row facing the camera. Which seemed to be the case because after reading it I did notice that there was a group of good looking women who sat in the front row and they were nicely dressed and that is something I never saw at any wrestling show I have ever went to.

     

    Also, I wonder how many of those "fans" are just people who went to the park. I went to a WCW taping when they used to film at MGM and I would say the vast majority of the fans were just people that were at the park and were asked to sit in for the tapings. I mean the stage manager was telling us when to cheer and boo.

     

    Then again I could be completely wrong. Also I agree with you the crowds are dead in Orlando. I guess that is why they went on the road in the first place because they thought they would get more livelier crowds.

     

    when MTV did there short live WSX Im pretty sure the crowd was made up on extras too.
