1. I get where your coming from, and I agree.... except you left other's out I think could headline with him... Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Punk, HHH, etc.

as much as I like the Miz i dont consider him an A grade maineventer. He would fall into the B grade maineventer zone lol.

Only Cena, Orton and CM Punk really seem to be the only ones that have any real drawing power these days.

Undertaker is pretty much on his last legs these days, dont be suprised if he only has one or two big matches left in him.

Kane hasnt been a credible maineventer in years. He falls into the C grade maineventer zone lol and Big Show just moves up and down the card. Both Kane and Big Show just help put talent over these days.

now that I think about it WWE mainevent seems to look pretty thin these days

It gave us a nice "holy crap" moment that few saw comming and keeps the feud fresh without Punk and Cena having to face each other yet again.

And btw, to the Cena haters, he DID drop two incredible matches to CM Punk last two PPVs. he's also been putting him over in promos on screen. And Punk really is the only true danger to his Tshirt sales. Mysterio does really well too. He puts over mysterio alot as well. But I guess he doesn't make guys look good. Just sayin'...

I was on WWEshop website lookin to buy me a CM Punk shirt and all of anything CM Punk were sold out

  3. Not to mention, the guy looked awesome... I mean, I think I even heard a few reactions to when he stepped over the top rope. He doesn't look "Hurt" or "Washed Up". A little hair dye did wonder's for him IMO, took off like 10 years (from where I seen him last).

I agree its hard to believe that his 52 years old.

With the CM-Nash promo I thought Nash looked alittle overwhelmed by some of CM Punk comments and stuggled to keep up with Punk. I really think that Nash didnt know what was going to come out of Punks mouth.

Only ADR and the Miz have been pushed well. Every time they pushed anyone they believe in, it's always moon-pushes. On the flip side, when a wrestler "catches fire", they don't even capitalized on their momentum.

People with sudden momentum need to pushed harder, people who don't need to be pushed slower. And I dont think it was rushed at all they dropped a few hints every now a then for months leading up to the Royal Rumble

  5. According to TNAinsider.com, Fox 8 representatives have been telling eager TNA fans on the Fox8 facebook page that TNA Impact is set to air once again in Australia. It will however be on Fox Sports subsidiary channel, FuelTV.

For those that live in Australia and didnt know. Fuel TV already has TNA Epics I think. Maybe they will put it on at a better time then 11pm Saturday night like Fox8 did

  6. 1. It's not because of a traditional standard or what not. I just don't like him based on my standards for liking a wrestler or not. Also, Hogan used to be epic in the ring. Look for his Japan/early stuff.

I'm no ROHbot demanding wrestling 24/7 (Though Final Countdown did introduce me to them). I'm just not entertained by The Miz, like I'm not entertained by Triple H, or Randy Orton or Matt Hardy, or Rey Mysterio. His character is not entertaining, his ring work - while improving - is not entertaning, and the same goes for his mic-work. I'm just not a fan. *shrugs*

****y kid? And here I thought he was playing the egomaniac.

Who does entertain you in WWE?

  8. I don't mean he should work a full schedule or anything. Just occasional appearances. Maybe some squash matches against midcarders or something. Once he faces Taker that's it. You can't top it with Sting in the WWE right now unless HBK comes out of retirement to face him as Survivor Series/Summer Slam or something.

I know what you mean I just think if he was going to stick around WWE would expect him to do oversea tours and stuff like that something I doubt he would do. but really how much pull would you think he would have backstage? he has never worked for the company. Its not TNA or WCW

DDP had abit of say backstage in WCW he went to WWE and had none

  9. What if it is Sting? Why not build up to a Sting vs Taker match next year? Give Sting a match with someone else and allow him to win his 1st one? If he debuts and faces Undertaker he won't have any more high profile match in the WWE. They don't usually blow big matches right away like that. I want to see Sting vs Taker but not his 1st major match in a WWE ring.

Well the guy is 51 years old and I doubt he would be willing to go on the road again for the next year even if he doesnt do house shows. The guy has been looking to retire for the last 3-4 years now but has always been talked out of it by TNA. Hence why he would sign 1 year deals with TNA

Besides there is no guarantee that Undertaker will be healed by WM

  10. Shawn Michaels lost two years in a row to Taker at Mania, it didn't exactly hurt his status as a legend or anything. Losing to Taker at Mania is not exactly being jobbed out is my point. In fact there's an argument to make that it's more of a push, factoring in of course how the loss takes place.

I can see them booking it as Sting pushing Taker further than anyone in history has, including Michaels. If there's one time where WWE seems to get the booking spot on it's Mania, hopefully they do it right.

That is true by now most would know that Taker would win. Its more about the match anyways than who wins or losses these days.

I would be disappointed if its anyone but Sting that shows.

  11. Could it be that the talent are just living above there means? I mean 35 grand a year to just work 3-4 days a month. Some people work 50 hours a week and wont even make that.

there are wrestlers out there who are just as talented that wrestle for 20 bucks

Most people move to be closer to there job its not TNAs fault that some decide to live on the other side of the country when they do most of thier TV tapings and PPVs in the one place

I remember reading a interview a while back with a Footballer that plays for LA galaxy that while David Beckham is making all the money. He is only on 19,000 a year as a full time footballer and is still able to make a living from it

  12. Sorry for the double post........

    Gerwick.net

The TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles were vacated at tonight’s tapings in Orlando. A tournament will be held starting on Thursday’s iMPACT! with The Beautiful People vs Sarita & Daffney. The last champions were Hamada and Taylor Wilde and the reason for the titles being vacated is not known at this time

and then we find out why....

PWInsider.com is reporting that Hamada has been released from her TNA contract.
