Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the history lesson. I have no problem with Australia losing in soccer as it's an evil foreign sport that has no place here anyway. One might even say it grinds my gears.
Really? I hate it when Australia loses at anything lol
I enjoy soccer but what makes it unwatchable for me sometimes is the amount of stageing or diving for free kicks that happens during a game that really grinds my gears

<p>What grinds my gears?</p><p> </p><p>
Just was playing the best game of Battlefield 3 that i have ever had in my life only to be kicked by an admin for being to good of a player. because he was on the other team and me and my team were kicking him and his buddies arses. </p><p> </p><p>
Now with players renting ther own servers. its becoming an issue now where you are kicked because you killed an Admin or well just for playin well. I seen players swiched sides mid-game by an Admin because he was playing to well against them. Its a new form of cheating.</p>

watching Raw for the first time in years. wtf is up with a 20 minute stupid segment about some girl being a crazy ho?
and then 3 one minute matches. and then more segments.
a lackluster tag match that had potential to be actually good, and Show gets DQ'd for saving his partner from defeat.. WTH is this? I wanted to watch wrestling, not a soap opera!
you mean AJ? shes one of the best things going around on RAW Lately.

Well at least it proves that you dont need Sting, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Abyss, Bully Ray, Matt Morgan, Hulk Hogan ect to have a good PPV.
Personally I dont think Ares will hold the title that long.

I wonder why people are not getting up in arms over Hornswoggle and Vince McMahon's impersonation of Jim Ross. When the Oklahoma thing ran in WCW, people were pissed off. Now nobody seems to care.
Oklahoma was created purely as a personal attack to JR, while the Vince, Hornswoggle thing was more in good fun.

Fantastic! How did he look? Could he still go?
-
It could mean that Smackdown might either be cut back to like 1 1/2 hours or axed all together. Might mean the end of Superstars too.
-
I think I have posted this link before. Paul London and Brian Kendrick were told they dont care about tag teams lol

Lesnar hated the schedule and left
I also heard that he wanted HHH, Undertaker type perks such as use of the WWE private jet.

Not sure if I've ever mentioned this show here before or not...but has anyone ever heard of/seen Underbelly?
Incredible crime drama from Australia, which closely follows true events of the Melbourne gang wars of 1995-2004. Great cast, great story, great music. Ticks all the boxes really...think it went under the radar being from Australia, but well worth a watch for crime-drama fans.
Ive met Roberta Willliams and i can tell you shes acts or sound nothing like her character in the show.
If you liked this Underbelly. I think there are 2 other seasons and i think 3 tv movies also, reganding other underworld events in australian history.

It makes absolutely no sense that WWE creative were trying to bury a guy they have been pushing and creating things like this for...

Well the WWE did try to make money from people that hate Cena by making a Cena Sucks T-Shirt.

Tag team wrestling isn't as relevant anymore as far as WWE is concerned. I feel like they're cool in live events to break up the show a little bit, but other than that, I dont see tag teams as being big draws in WWE's world.
Brian Kendrick and Paul London seem to have been told the same thing.

but doesnt Austin do like most of his own stunts in his movies anyways.

I expect Lesnar to win the WWE Championship at Survivor Series or Royal Rumble, with The Rock winning the Royal Rumble match.
if thats the case looks like im ordering both RR and WM next year

I think it's going to be very interesting to see what happens to the crowds over the next few shows.
To me (and several others it seems) RAW on Monday was made by the fans in attendance. They were vocal and involved in the product in a way that younger fans and their uninterested parents can never be. Sadly, I get the distinct impression that Wrestlemania was the reason. Smart marks at 'mania, smart marks at the RAW afterwards and perhaps on Smackdown! too but after that...?
Does anyone else feel like the D-Bry love, the cheeky chants from informed fans and perhaps the level of passion and audience participation may drop along with the average age of the fans in the coming weeks?
from what i saw a few in the crowd were to same people that were at mania.

Scott Steiner mades some pretty interesting comments on twitter. Wonder if his going to claim the good old "its was Hacked" excuse.
Steiner via twitter:
Can somebody send tna’s booking team of pritchard hogan n bischoff video’s from ring ka king..booking hogan in a sex tape wont help ratings .. Ratings..what an embarassment to tna n spike tv … Wait… His ex-wife said he was .gay..so who’s the guy in the sex tape Brother … Read my tweats people, I am not blasting TNA if I do I will let you know .. Right now im trying to save tna bcuz its the titanic and its sinking fast bcuz hogan n bischoff r doing the same bullsh*t they did to de.....
Steiner via Twitter:
It took them 1 1/2 months to drive tna to its lowest ratings ever…the best way to save it is to jump off and be the voice for the guys … Bitter????I have nothing to be bitter about! I have a contract extension signed by tna officials that under the circumstances i would no … Official that under the circumstances i would not sign … Same bulls**t they did to destoy wcw

Fair enough. I thought Rock was selling Cena's offense but maybe they were just hiding his ring rust. Either way I enjoyed it because I didn't expect Cena to dominate Rock so much.
What sold it for me was that smirk Cena had though out the match.
-
Rock v Cena - MGK riled up the crowd and Cena went green. Crowd was nuts for this match as expected. "Fruity pebble! Tooth fairy!" Smart game plan from Cena trying to break Rock's core strength with Rock selling the pain like a pro. Rock looked like he'd never been out of the ring. Made sense going forward for Rock to win. Jericho v Punk was probably better but this one had that special feel to it like Punk v Cena at MITB.
Yer he looked like he never has but wrestled like he has had only one match in 8 years prior to this one.

Would people be less upset if they didnt waste 10 mins on a stupid Brodus Clay dance?
-
It's the WWE we are talking about. It is all about the storylines... not the wrestling.
Randy Orton/Kane fued should continue past WM

I worked as a tyre salesman and what grinds my gears are when customers just rock up and expect you to drop everything your doing because THEY want something done.
or when someone makes a booking and then rocks up 1 hour early thinking it'll get done earlier
or then they make a booking and rock up 3 hours after they were ment to and expect to jump to the front because they had a booking lol
-
Im alittle disappointed that The Rock didnt give Cena a "Bring It" gesture.
Anyone notice David Otunga didnt get tagged at all in his match? Team Johnny was always going to win 4 of the 6 have been in and out of the mainevent and well Team Teddy was full of midcarders.
Found it funny that Bryan/Sheamus was bumped last year from the main card and this year were only given like 30 seconds. Second year in a row that the world title match has been the opening match of the show.

I have a feeling we're gonna see a few more of The Walking Dead's cast members out looking for work at the end of the season. NO WAY the whole group's gonna make it through that, (next week's episode), in one piece.
Can't wait to see it though!
I agree I have a feeling that T-Dog and Hersal arent gunna make it lol.

The Rock's the best on the mic, but isn't able to do the "on the fly" stuff Cena has been doing for years now
So The Rock had a alittle cheat sheet on his arm and all of a sudden he cant do "on the fly"? Well the Rock did 99% of his promos live backstage rather than pre-tape and all wrestlers are given a little direction on where a promo should go and what point they need to get across and its the wrestlers job to fill in the blanks and Cena and Rock are no different.
What grinds your gears?
