  1. For those of you who were following The Blackfox Era before it was purged, I wank you to know that 1) my mother and I are okay and 2) the show will be back, in a bit of a different form. My vision for WWE will become very clear, very soon.
  2. Quick update, just to make sure you all know I'm still here. Monday Night Raw will be posted on or around September 3, with SmackDown to follow shortly thereafter. I have a week off around then, so I'll probably have a few shows coming out back to back. It's been a busy time for us at the Blackfox household, with my mother going into surgery soon, but I haven't forgotten about you wonderful people. Hope everyone is doing well. EDIT: "On or around September 3" is relative.
  3. NEWS N NOTES Monday, Week One, June 2021 Welcome to News N Notes, your source for news n notes from around the wrestling world. WWE's Judgment Day pay-per-view was a success, drawing higher than expected numbers to the WWE Network, according to multiple sources. This comes after reports of sluggish TV ratings and live event attendance. From what we understand, the Blackfox group is committed to their "rebuilding" plans, and they're planning several NXT callups in the coming months to freshen up the product. WWE officials have also leaked to the media that there will be at least one "surprise return" on RAW tonight in the aftermath of Judgment Day. We assume these reports are reliable and not false advertising, but it's WWE, so who knows. In a shocker at AAA, 53 year old Blue Demon Jr. took the Mega Championship from Kenny Omega after a surprise appearance from "Hangman" Adam Page, who lost his AEW Championship match on Saturday night at Double Or Nothing. Insiders have been quoted as saying "WHAT?" and "WHAT!!!???!?!?!!?" ... PREDICTIONS RAW/Underground, Week 1, June 2021 All five champions retained at Judgment Day, which means we'll need five new challengers. Let's see who will start the fresh month with a W. RAW: Aleister Black vs King Corbin RAW: Bobby Lashley vs Sheamus RAW: Daniel Bryan vs Jeff Hardy RAW: For DOUBLE POINTS, who will make a surprise return on tonight's RAW? You can say 'nobody' if you think there is press shenanigans happening. UG: Akira Tozawa vs Dio Maddin
  4. WWE JUDGEMENT DAY 2021: PRESHOW Sunday, Week 4, May 2021 Wells-Fargo Arena, Philadelphia, PA ... Pat McAfee, Michael Cole, and Booker T form the preshow panel for Judgment Day. Throughout the hour, which is broadcast free on the USA Network, the panel speaks to Sheamus, Bianca Belair, and Damian Priest. They also broadcast three free matches, called by commentators Corey Graves, Samoa Joe, and special guest Mauro Ranallo, who expresses excitement to watch the NXT Tag Team Champions, The Midnight Riders, defend their titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Rey Mysterio def. Santos Escobar (10:06, 66) Noam Dar def. Gran Metalik (10:06, 50) NXT Tag Team Championships: The Midnight Riders © def. Dirty Dawgs (10:41, 61) ... ... ... "In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal. He humbles those who dwell on high, he lays the lofty city low; he levels it to the ground and casts it down to the dust. Feet trample it down— the feet of the oppressed, the footsteps of the poor. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the Lord. Lord, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them. See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer." —Isaiah 26 ... And now, live from the sold-out Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Blackfox Entertainment proudly presents... WWE JUDGEMENT DAY 2021 Sunday, Week 4, May 2021 ... A fiery Philadelphia crowd makes plenty of noise as Mauro Ranallo welcomes the WWE Network viewers to Judgment Day 2021. Nine matches make up the main card this evening, including the highly-anticipated Intercontinental Championship rematch between Humberto Carrillo and Shinsuke Nakamura, a grudge match between Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler for the Women's Championship, and in our main event, Finn Bálor's attempt to take the WWE Championship from Roman Reigns. But to kick things off, we'll see the first of three matches featuring HELIX, the all-star faction founded by Randy Orton. ... Tag Team Match, 20 Minute Time Limit: AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy vs Daniel Bryan and Drew McIntyre Daniel Bryan enters the arena first to a massive ovation, and the crowd's wish for his success is granted as he makes a sluggish Jeff Hardy tap out with the Yes Lock. (9:32, 75) ... Singles Match, 20 Minute Time Limit: Braun Strowman vs Seth Rollins(w/ Murphy) Murphy is still nervous about working with Seth Rollins, but as Strowman prepares for the finishing touches, Murphy's instincts kick in. He distracts the referee for just long enough for Rollins to hit Strowman between the legs. One Curb Stomp puts the big man away, and Rollins kisses a clearly uncomfortable Murphy on the cheek after the match. (9:09, 73) ... Backstage, Ricochet waits for his Cruiserweight Championship defense. As he taps his foot on the floor, Aleister Black meets him in Gorilla position. BLACK: It's been a while. RICOCHET: It has. BLACK: How've you been? RICOCHET I'm alright. Lot of pressure with this belt. Are you sure you want it? BLACK: I guess we'll find out. Black smirks at his former tag team partner. They shake hands, and Black leaves to prepare for his theatrical ring entrance. ... Singles Match, 60 Minute Time Limit, for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Ricochet © vs Aleister Black These competitors know each other well, and it shows, as they duck and dodge each other's offense in the early going. The match lacks a bit of heat due to the weak build, but the champion and challenger still put forward a good showing for the time they get. Black gets an opportunity for the Black Mass, but Ricochet ducks and cracks Black with an enzuigiri. Ricochet finishes Black with a 630 Senton, and helps his former tag team partner up after the match in a show of good sportsmanship, which is always nice to see. (12:37, 53) ... Singles Match, 60 Minute Time Limit, for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Humberto Carrillo © vs Shinsuke Nakamura Carrillo has been a hot commodity since his shocking victory on SmackDown, but he enters the match as an underdog to retain. The veteran Nakamura has clearly learned from their previous matchup, and despite still being outpaced, uses his wits to keep Carrillo on the back foot. However, a top-rope maneuver from Carrillo clips referee Mike Chioda, and Andrade "Cien" Almas takes the opportunity to attack Nakamura in a manner reminiscent of their scrap at Backlash: Rewired a month ago. He scampers away just as a new referee hits the ring, and one Moonsault later, Carrillo retains his championship. (15:57, 61) ... WWE Judgment Day 2021 is brought to you by the good people at Pixar. Finding Nemo 3: He's Bright Orange, How Did You Lose Him Again? hits theaters this Friday. ... Singles Match, 60 Minute Time Limit, for the WWE Women's Championship: Rhea Ripley © vs Shayna Baszler This match is an absolute showcase of both competitors. Ripley and Baszler tear into each other in a fast-paced bout with very little downtime. Baszler's failure to cleanly lock in a Rear-Naked Choke cost her, as Ripley is just too quick for Baszler to keep her down. Ripley wins via pinfall after a Riptide in the middle of the ring, and the cameras catch Baszler seething with rage as she recovers on the outside. (12:32, 65) ... Backstage, Jeremy Borash is being pushed around by Noam Dar and Drew Gulak. DAR: Get the camera on us! Come on, photo boy! Look at us. Are you people even watching this show? Are you not sick to your stomach at the garbage that is being shoveled into your television sets? GULAK: "Oh, Ricochet did a flip! Humberto did a spin! What great heroes these men are!" But you don't believe that. You know who the true heroes are: the masters of the mat, the saviors of the squared circle, el conquistadores del cachascán. We are the Anti-Air Force. And we call on all those who support real wrestling to make your voices heard. ... Tag Team Match, 60 Minute Time Limit, for the WWE Tag Team Championships: The Street Profits © vs John Morrison and The Miz Despite continuous efforts from Morrison and The Miz to cheat at every possible opportunity, they're clearly outclassed by the younger men. Angelo Dawkins debuts a new finisher, an Abdominal Stretch, and Johnny Drip Drip begs for mercy. (12:35, 67) ... Tag Team Match, 20 Minute Time Limit: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs Rated-RKO Rated-RKO turn back the clock against their Wild Horses adversaries in this match, and Orton shines as a sadistic heel, picking apart Sami Zayn. Owens gets into deep trouble in the HELIX corner, and when he finally does escape, Zayn is still too worn down to stop Edge from Spearing his ribs in to pick up the victory. (14:55, 78) ... Singles Match, 20 Minute Time Limit: Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP) vs Keith Lee The HELIX vs Wild Horses rubber match is all muscle. Bobby Lashley is used to throwing people around, but he struggles against Keith Lee, failing to dominate him. With no backup plan, Lee uses his superior athleticism to outwork Lashley and pin him with a Spirit Bomb. (12:16, 70) ... Tomorrow night on the USA Network, Monday Night RAW returns with the aftermath of the WWE Championship contest between Roman Reigns and Finn Bálor. Plus, after forcing him to submit earlier tonight, Daniel Bryan will take on Jeff Hardy. We'll also hear from HELIX leader Randy Orton, getting his reaction to his team losing two out of their three matches. And on Independence Day weekend, all eyes will be on the Show-Me State. In one month's time, WWE heads to the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri for WWE's Great American Bash. WWE Network subscribers will get full access to the pay per view at no extra charge. ... Singles Match, 60 Minute Time Limit, for the WWE Championship: Roman Reigns © vs Finn Bálor With no interference and no shenanigans, the main event is a thriller. The best match of the Blackfox Era so far, Bálor takes devastating punishment but refuses to stay down. Bálor attempts a Coup De Grâce, but Reigns rolls to the turnbuckle and catches the Prince with a Superman Punch for a near-fall. That would be Bálor's best opportunity of the match, as a Slingblade attempt would be turned into a Spear to definitively end Bálor's championship hopes. (19:27, 80) At the end of the show, Bálor gets to his feet and offers Reigns a handshake. Reigns accepts, grasping Bálor's hand before whipping him into the ropes and cracking him with one more Spear for the road. SHOW RATING: 76
  5. (cool graphic to come) "This is WWE's hard reset. It has to be. WWE was Vince McMahon. This is an opportunity to capture a bigger audience than it's seen in years, so it makes the statement: goodbye, Vince. Look at all the stuff you remember - wasn't Vince silly? - but hello to the future. For all of the new people watching, we are starting from now. This is a new era, and every single televised match from now on will matter. You don't need to have seen anything before this. We will tell you who these characters are. "Tensions are running so high. The cost of failure is all-consuming rage. You can pit brother against brother, blood feuds can be born out of jealousy and hatred and disappointment and hating yourself and taking it out on someone else, also known as 'professional ****ing wrestling.' "We have this new style. We have this new era. Clear divisions. New and fresher stars arising out of these grand tournaments. And more cohesive and understandable booking given that hard reset when Vince finally departs." ~Adam Blampied, ... Vince McMahon was gone. After his death in February 2021, WWE Inc. shuffled forward. McMahon's children, Stephanie and Shane, and his son-in-law, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, were announced as the new co-chairs of the company. Ownership was transferred to a private investing firm named Blackfox Industries. It was assumed that this firm was operated by the new co-chairs, although that was never explicitly stated. Over the next month and a half, dramatic changes were announced for the WWE product. In a statement soon after the company's acquisition, the Blackfox ownership group announced that WrestleMania would be the "end of the McMahon era," and the next night's RAW would begin a hard reboot of the company, vacating all championships and ending all ongoing storylines. The brand split would be ended, and tournaments would be held to crown new champions in five divisions. The private investors had provided a cash boost, used to upgrade the WWE's facilities and prepare for "major restructuring," including a new writing team. RAW would be shortened to two hours to make room for a new reality-based program, WWE Underground, that would follow twelve "unsung heroes" who had been lost in the shuffle of Vince's roster. WWE Main Event was also picked up for another season by Hulu, but nobody cared. WrestleMania took place on the final weekend of March. It was a tribute to Vince McMahon's legacy. To what he created, to what he loved, to his life and his life's work. There was wrestling, there was spectacle, there was Hornswoggle. In the main event, Vince McMahon's chosen star, Drew McIntyre, defeated Bobby Lashley to become the final WWE Champion of the McMahon era. The show ended with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin speaking from the heart about the greatest rivalry in professional wrestling, and what Vince McMahon meant to him. He held a single can of beer, cracked it open, placed it in the middle of the ring, and flipped it off. The Rock, Hulk Hogan, and a slew of WWE wrestlers, legends, and alumni took to the stage for one final ten-bell salute for the chairman, followed by a standing ovation. It was the perfect ending to a perfect night. Vince McMahon was gone.
  6. When you're posting, how do you do the thing where you make a rectangle for your text to stay in, so it doesn't go from one end of the screen to the other? Like how Grimm SoCal Wrestling has the red boxes.

I definitely have a few "unsung heroes" I'd like to push in my story. Some are pretty obvious candidates, but some aren't...muahaha.</p>
  8. Oh, I didn't mean parallel as in 'at the same time', I want to live into my thirties. And I'm definitely going to look around the history thread and see what other people have done. Thank you all. Editing this since I don’t want to double post: what is the Rocky Maivia award? Is it about sucking? That’s mainly what I know Rocky Maivia for.
  9. <p>A couple quick things from somebody new to the game. I've always wanted to do a formal fantasy booking but I never really found a good platform for it, and TEW is exactly what I have been looking for.</p><p> </p><p> 1) Is there a way I can make imgur links show up embedded in the posts? I only see the links and not the images.</p><p> </p><p> 2) I was surprised I didn't see any WWE diaries here. Are they discouraged, or are they just unpopular? I am planning on making a modern WWE diary, running kind-of parallel to the present day. I'm going to be loosely adapting a couple ideas from Adam Blampied's booking videos, particularly </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/RlJ9dVu738c?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="How Adam Would Book... I just wanted to know if that's something anyone here would care about, since I haven't seen anything like it.<p> </p><p> I was going to ask something else, but I have short-term memory loss, so I'm going to have to get back to it. I'll edit this post if it comes to me.</p>
  10. John Cena should be a Special Attraction, not an Icon, because he isn't a full-timer anymore.
  11. What's the difference between the Apolitical and Easy To Do Business With attributes?
  12. I meant from the loaner's side, sorry. I am loaning a worker to a different promotion and I want them back early.
  13. Can you cancel a loan? I can't find anything about it in the handbook.
  14. When AI is booking, does it book preshow matches based on the roster size? In my WWE save, NXT just did seven preshow matches for a TakeOver. I know I have a rather large roster, I didn't think it was that large though.
  15. <p>I was gonna do a quick summary of how my WWE RWC stories are going, but I typed it up and it ended up being a very, very, very long summary. I think the stories are pretty good, though, so I will post them and see what you guys think. I am going to start with my silly midcard antics to pique your interest before we get to the actual main stories. Because I like silly antics.</p><p> </p><p> After a <strong>Cedric Alexander</strong> face turn and the retirement of <strong>Shelton Benjamin</strong>, <strong>MVP</strong> and <strong>Bobby Lashley</strong> are alone in the Hurt Business. They tried to recruit <strong>Ricochet</strong>, even buying him his own Hurt Business jersey, but Ricochet said no. They didn't want to waste the jersey, so they decided to try and recruit <strong>Jeff Hardy</strong>, but he didn't want to take a shirt that said "Ricochet" on the back. MVP hadn't thought of that.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dolph Ziggler</strong> has been on a losing streak since <strong>Kurt Angle</strong> took over as GM of SmackDown. Desperate for answers, Ziggler has turned to the metaphysical, and is attempting to get Angle fired on the grounds that he has a negative aura.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bo Dallas</strong>, <strong>Mace</strong>, and <strong>Slapjack</strong> have been rebranded as Tyler Trimm, Reggie Chest, and Willie Wakks, forming RAW's newest heel stable, <strong>Trimm, Chest, and Wakks</strong>. Which is a hilarious name, in my opinion. The stable is actually getting over, and they've earned themselves a tag title opportunity against <strong>The New Day</strong>. It is not going to go well for them.</p><p> </p><p> And here are the more serious storylines...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>John Cena</strong> lost a #1 contender's match for the WWE Championship to <strong>Adam Cole</strong> in a huge upset. At the pay per view, Cena stormed the ring and beat champion <strong>Daniel Bryan</strong> to within an inch of his life, resenting Bryan's status as a fan favorite. Cena won the title off Bryan, and after a brief feud with <strong>Finn Bálor</strong>, is going to threaten to walk out with the belt. This is going to set up a meeting with Bryan in Hell In A Cell, and hopefully, an Iron Man match at Survivor Series to blow it off. My long-term vision is to have <strong>Big E</strong> make a huge main event run to challenge Cena, and come close to winning the title, but have Mr. Money In The Bank, <strong>Andrade "Cien" Almas</strong>, hijack the match and steal it from E. This will probably be accompanied by a <strong>Humberto Carrillo</strong> heel turn, setting up a 3 vs 3 and, hopefully, Andrade vs E for the championship down the line.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Undisputed ERA</strong> got drafted to SmackDown, and they're going to be part of a stable war on the blue brand, including <strong>Team Phenom</strong> (Styles, Cedric Alexander, Gran Metalik, and Humberto pre-turn), <strong>The Wild Horses</strong> (Owens, Gable, Keith Lee, and Nakamura), and <strong>The Roman Empire</strong> (Reigns, Jimmy, Jey, and Jacob Fatu). You bet your brisket this is gonna be a Survivor Series tournament. Still not sure who I have going over here -- Roman just dropped the title to Owens and lost the rematch in a cage at SummerSlam, so I think getting the heat back on the Empire will be the play. Not sure yet. Fatu has been underwhelming so far. I'm giving him a long leash because we don't need him to be a big player right now, but there will be a point where he has to step it up or get sent down to NXT.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Fiend</strong> is trying to create a cult around himself and take over the world, because of course he is. <strong>Alexa Bliss</strong> cashed in Money In The Bank ahead of time, a month before SummerSlam, and beat <strong>Becky Lynch</strong> clean. The idea was to publicize the match so people would all be tuned in when Alexa used Fiendly magic against Becky, in hopes of acquiring more followers, etc. <strong>Elias</strong>, <strong>Braun Strowman</strong>, and <strong>Tegan Nox</strong> have become brainwashed. I'm suspecting that this stable may be a slow-motion revolving door, with people joining the cult when they get stuck in their careers and leaving when they don't need him anymore. And that's great for the stable's long-term prospects, because The Fiend can point to real examples of people whose lives improved by following him. Basically like a Ponzi scheme.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rollins and Orton</strong> are fighting a bunch for no real reason but green number go brrr so they got an extension on their feud.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rhea Ripley</strong> got called up and immediately rinsed <strong>Bayley</strong> of the SmackDown Women's Championship. Bayley has decided to get herself a meat shield in <strong>Shayna Baszler</strong>, who has been assaulting Ripley at random times in an attempt to weaken her. Ripley won't lose the title, but I'm going to plant seeds throughout this feud that maybe Ripley shouldn't be champion because she's so young. That sounds counterintuitive, but Ripley is going to buy into that idea that maybe she doesn't deserve to be at the top, and she'll feel so much pressure to maintain her position. The pressure will make her lose her confidence and get the title taken from her because of it. Ripley doesn't really have a strong character right now. This title run is establishing her as a bad beeyatch. It's only after she loses the title that we really start to learn about Rhea the woman, as opposed to Rhea the wrestler.</p><p> </p><p> I brought the Cruiserweight Championship back to the main roster and gave <strong>Mustafa Ali</strong> a few months with it, because I think he's really cool. Since he used to be a Chicago police officer, I made that his gimmick. Basically, he's the Regular Sized Boss Man. But he's done about all he can do with the belt, and I'm wanting to gently push him up the card, so he dropped it to <strong>Rey Mysterio</strong>. My cruiserweight division is lacking in credible heels, so I put the belt on Rey for him to give the rub to some NXT guys and my new signings. <strong>Santos Escobar</strong> came back to try and regain the title he never lost, but he won't beat Mysterio. I want to get some spicy feuds out of this and establish some midcarders and potential future stars, so Mysterio will have this for a while.</p><p> </p><p> I have churned quite a bit of the roster since taking over. My rule is no breaking written contracts. But I have made quite a few signings. Some established guys I can plug right in (<strong>TJ Perkins</strong>, <strong>Sami Callahan</strong>, <strong>Powerhouse Hobbs</strong>) and some young guys who are getting reps in the PC (<strong>Carlos Romo</strong>, <strong>Dragon Bane</strong>, <strong>Boomer Hatfield</strong>). I'm really happy with the signings I've made, and I have a few more major targets I want to pull into the company. Perhaps a main eventer or two...perhaps a certain expensive acquisition...someone who draws crowds <em>weather</em> he's in Japan or the USA. Weather. Rain. It's <strong>Okada</strong>. He's hot, I don't know what to tell you.</p><p> </p><p> My problem is an unsurprising one -- not enough stars, especially young ones. But things are looking up. Not everybody is getting over, but the wrestlers who are have really taken off. Just because there's a long way to go doesn't mean we won't get there.</p><p> </p><p> This was fun, let's do it again sometime.</p>
