Something I was wondering about is how Importance impacts the venues that you hold a show at. For example, is there any significant difference between a venue with 10% Importance and one with 0%? It's something that's been on my mind lately, and I'd like to know how much it affects the shows themselves.
This is covered in the handbook, for reference. It has no impact on gameplay, it's used by the AI to bias towards using more important places.

How long does it take for someone to learn a different language.
As an example, 65 workers, and 3 of them only speak Japanese. A couple of workers speak English and Japanese. And the rest only speak English. How long would it take for those 3 Japanese workers to learn English?
It depends entirely on their exposure. If they're in the same locker room as a lot of English speakers four times a week, every week, then they're going to learn a lot quicker than if it's once a month.

It is limited by company size. I think 4 is the maximum. That only applies to in-game, you can obviously use the editor to give any amount.
-
That would have the long-term effect of narrowing the gameplay experience; people would very quickly work out the beneficial match-ups (and what to avoid if there are corresponding penalties) and just exploit it for cheap gains. It wouldn't involve any skill or judgement, it'd just be down to memorisation, which is generally a path to avoid in game design.
Additionally, note that what you phrased as a negative in your opening paragraph could just as easily be seen as a strength; that you have a lot of freedom in what you book and aren't given incentives to book the same formula over and over.

Closed. Please remember to put suggestions into separate threads, not to just throw them all into just one.

Does anyone know, as in not "I think this" or "It probably is" or anything, what the Dirty Tricks do?
"Sponsor attack" dirty tricks impact the victim's momentum and prestige, which in turn has knock on effects on a number of other game elements.

You've probably got a different resolution or magnification on your new laptop; playing with your settings should allow you to get the crispest look. The game itself can't blur as it's fixed size / resolution.

Hello, is there any way to enlarge the screen or perhaps even make it full screen?
No, it is a fixed resolution game.

You can't create brand new powers, but you can customise any of the existing powers - that's kind of the whole point, they almost all have the option to change their activation rolls, power level, stun level, etc, etc. I'd recommend you look in the editor, as that would probably clarify a lot of things for you.

The game hasn't had an update in months though, so I know this is probably just wishful thinking at this point.
I think you're misunderstanding the purpose of the forum - this is for suggestions for future games in the CBU series, not the current one. Patches ("updates" as you called them) are to correct errors, not to add in entirely new features.

The game is just counting the pixels, so it's pretty much impossible for it to be wrong. Note that just because your setting say that you are at 1920x1080 does not mean that that is literally true. For example, if you have screen magnification on then you would have far less pixels. Or, if you are using software to project your screen to another device, that would also mean that you could have less pixels. It would almost certainly be one of those two - usually it's screen magnification, which people have on without realising.

I am so sorry if this question has been asked before. How much does a PPV buy cost to the ‘customer’. Does it vary per size like season tickets or flat throughout the game?
It varies by company size.
-
No, only the amount of damage taken and the length of combat matters.
-
You would edit the company relationships.
-
Only in the main editor, you can't do it from within a save game.

I have 20 workers, two at $80 per appearance, three at $40 per appearance, and the rest are $30 or $20 per appearance. None of them have bonuses other than 10% of their merchandise sales. So how how am I being hit for $13000 plus for worker payments? It says that about $13000 is in bonuses that I am supposedly paying out. I checked everyone, no one is getting bonuses.
Bonuses include things like travel, hotels, catering, etc. You've likely either left some of the backstage perks on, or, you're paying contracted travel and hotel costs for several workers who aren't local to you.

This might be useful if a luchador has a bad relationship with his son and doesn't want him to be his sucessor.
Legacies are passed on to newly-generated characters so it'd be impossible for there to be a bad relationship between them; by definition of how the feature functions, the successor is always someone they're comfortable with.

I am simulating the cornellverse to test a scenario I want to play, I am in 2037 and I am experiencing a strange behavior from almost all dojos/training centers. They stopped creating the adequate amount of new workers each year. It seems something starting in 2029 which is having more and more impact as we go on in the simulation.
For example in the screenshots I have WWA Europe which stopped producing the 3 students a year reported in the information by 2024, started producing just 1 in 2027 and stopped in 2029:
Additionally The Air Attack Weasel school created in 2031 never had a single graduate while we should se "roughly 2 students a year" graduating:
Even the Big dogs like SWF and their Training Facilities are not producing the 8 students a year:
I did not change any setting in regards of dojos and training centers, but this lack of new workers is affecting the simulation,
Is it something planned?
Am I missing something?
can you please tell me how to have the "advertised" number of students graduating in each dojo/TC?
thanks
If you have picture requirements turned on then you likely ran out of valid pictures; if the game can't generate new characters then naturally dojos can't produce any graduates.

Two quick questions:
1. Ist there a face/heel skill somewhere like in previous versions
2. Will the push levels of workers in TEW 2020 automatically adjusted. I think in previous versions that had to be done manually.
Thanks!
1 - It's done via attributes instead.
2 - There aren't push levels, it was replaced with perception levels. They're explained in detail in the handbook.

Is there a way either in game or via exporting the database that I can see the text description for angles after a show has run? I can see the title but want to be able to see the full text that I have put in for those segments to catch up on where I was with a game I haven't played for a while.
No, there isn't. That data isn't saved - the save file size would be enormous if it saved the text for every segment.

Is there anyway to see a fighters morale?
It's on the roster screen underneath Last Fight.

If there is ever a new game in any of my series, there will be official announcements on the GDS website, forums and social media sites.

The editor will not allow you to do so.

I had a worker that I very much didnt want to die die in a game. He passed by a kenny death only 42. Is it possible to go in the editor and set him to active and by the looks of it set all his stats back and not have any consequences for the save?
No, you can't.
