1. Here is a link to an article (see below): http://www.clevelandsportstorture.com/2010/08/clevelands-next-hope.html?showComment=1281554629238 Cleveland's Next Hope Bernie Kosar. Brady Quinn. Lebron James. These were supposed to be our "Hometown" saviors. Guys who grew up around here, played here, and were destined to bring our starving city its first championship since 1964... Cleveland... I give to you Parma's own... Michael Mizanin, better known as the egotistical, brash heel of the WWE - "The Miz". http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5wE80qD6X08/TGIOfsSGFKI/AAAAAAAAAW8/-U8tEPrXooA/s320/Miz2.jpg Before ascending the ranks of the WWE main roster, the Normandy High School alum first gained fame on The Real World and later Real World/Road Rules Challenge. He would eventually earn a spot in the WWE, shooting up the ranks quicker than a Justin Gabriel 450 splash. Already a two time and current United States Champion, The Miz shocked the world last month by winning the "Money In The Bank" (MITB) Ladder Match, which guarantees a World Title shot any time, any place. The MITB holder carries a briefcase and can literally "cash-in" whenever, wherever - surprising the unfortunate champion following a grueling hell in the cell match, or at a house show, or in an alley, or in a hotel lobby. There have been seven MITB winners. All seven have successfully cashed in to become champion. Some were established superstars like Edge. Some were mid-carders who were instantly propelled to main event stardom like C.M. Punk and Jack Swagger. The statistics show it. All logic points to it - The Miz will do it. No quit- I mean elbow injuries. No drives, shots, fumbles, or meltdowns in the ninth. Cleveland will have its champion! Whoah, whoah whoah. Before we begin to drink the Lake Erie bubbly, I caution you - let's not forget the glorious name of this very blog. If there was ever a time to break the MITB winning streak, it would figure to be when Cleveland was on the verge. There we are - at the top of the ladder, fingers stretched, the ultimate prize at our fingertips - only to get choke slammed to hell. The Miz's catchphrase is "I'm the Miz and I'm AWESOME!" He is... but needn't he forget... he's from Cleveland as well. Go get' em kid. Five-Six Months later http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/2450/mizj.jpg
 2. David Otunga must be motivated after witnessing The Miz. Otunga thinking to himself, "If i work as hard as The Miz, I'll be awesome too, i get it." Miz bringing Cleveland home a Championship. Something LeWrong James didn't do.
 3. My prediction, Miz cashes it in tonight. He already set it up with the false illness excuse that we commonly use to avoid work/school.
 4. ^not sure if that can happen since both Raw and SmackDown had MITB. I would assume the Raw MITB winner can only cash it on the Raw main event champion, and SD winner on SD main event champion.
 5. Rashard Lewis seems to be shooting poorly this season. He didn't do bad last night though. Nice game from Blake Griffin playing against Amar'e Stoudemire and the New York Knicks. He can jump like crazy for a white guy (okay, half-). Amar'e took him to school and the Knicks have picked up some wins from their west coast road trip. Rudy Gay with a game winning shot over LeBron James. D-Wade was out and the Heat have started the season 8-5. Man was i way wrong in my eight ball on them. I thought they would have started the season better. But i know my role and i'll shut my mouth on that one. Raptors and Hornets completed a trade. Peja & Bayless to Raptors for Andersen, Jarrett Jack, and Marcus Banks. Looks like a cost-cutting move for the Hornets who are notorious for selling their picks for cash.
 6.
It will be Greg Oden second microfracture surgery.

His first one was 2007 on his right knee. He missed the entire season after being picked number one.

His second one was performed on his left knee.

I don't know how it will affect his game. He is still 7 feet tall. But he just like that character in the movie "Unbreakable".

From 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010, and 2010-2011, he played exactly 82 games or one full NBA season.

 7. King James tweeted on Portland Trail Blazers Center Greg Oden second Microfracture Surgery: "Man i seriously feel for Greg Olden! Keep your head up man and put all faith in the man above. Best of luck"
 8.
Alex Riley's Mug Shot:

http://i51.tinypic.com/2ywh6qd.jpg

 9. Remember the last show for NXT season 2, when Alex Riley attacked Percy Watson for no reason, i think he was under the influence, OH YEAH!
 10. I'm fine with Cole personally. I consider myself a member of Cole Miners. He needs Josh Matthews to play alongside him rather than Jerry The King Lawler. Cole is just epic as a heel commentator. I became a fan on NXT. He's brilliant imo.

Mae Young continues to live in infamy.

I wonder if she gets future endeavored. Sponsors won't be happy about this one. E.g. Daniel Bryan necktie submission on the ring announcer.

 12. UFC fighter Roy Nelson said this week that he is looking to fight Brock Lesnar or Undertaker, too, if given the chance. "I think it's great that Brock wants to fight me," Nelson said in an interview with BloodyElbow.com. "It would be a great matchup and I believe the fans want to see it so let's make it happen. I don't care if it is in the UFC or the WWE... let's just get down to it." He added: "If Brock still doesn't want to fight there I guess I'll take on the Undertaker because I'm sure he'd be happy to fight me. We can do Hell in the Cell or we can even do a complete throwback and sign a Lion's Den match like Ken Shamrock. I can get paid to act."
 13. Here are two more pictures of the new title. If you want to see it, please follow the instruction below:
 14. Where was The Iron Sheik during the Attitude Era? He could have been a perfect manager for an anti-American coalition.
 15.
Team Sheamus -vs- Team Morrison or Santino. That's my prediction for a Survivor Series match.

Old School Raw is next week. They are using this logo from the ads:

http://i3.squidoocdn.com/resize/squidoo_images/-1/lens2324256_1228743221WWF_logo.jpg

- Next week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw will be a three hour show, and have an "Old School" theme. Set to appear on the show are the following legends…

* Sgt. Slaughter

* Dusty Rhodes

* Jimmy Snuka

* Roddy Piper

* The Iron Sheik

* Hacksaw Jim Duggan

* Nikolai Volkoff

* Gene Okerlund

* Irwin R Shyster

* Ted DiBiase

* Arn Anderson

 16. I wonder if it was the same thing The Rock said about Jericho when Y2J debuted in 1999.
 17.
Sting could always release his TNA greatest hits DVD and not showing anything before 2002.

I bet he'll make more money there than ones the WWE can create.
