The show is sold out and the fans are on their feet as pyro explodes. To the sounds of their respective show's entrance themes, Tony Schiavone and Eric Bischoff both walk out to podiums at the top of the ramp. Schiavone begins by welcoming everyone to Halloween Havoc. He talks about how history will be made in and out of the ring tonight. Bischoff agrees, saying that tonight marks the beginning of a new era for WCW. He reminds everyone that Tony and himself are here to announce the first round draft selections for the WCW brand split between Saturday Night and Monday Nitro. Schiavone speaks up, saying that Saturday Night has the first selection and that he put a lot of thought and effort into this first selection. He decided to choose a man whose name is synonymous with WCW. This man is a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion and former WCW United States Champion. This man is a legend, an icon and a cornerstone of this promotion. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Sting! Schiavone smiles widely at his selection and we are taken to a video hyping Sting. Following the video, the attention turns to Eric Bischoff. Bischoff says that was not bad for a first pick. But now it's time for Monday Nitro to make it's mark. He says that he made the decision to look to the past, present and future to make the first selection for Nitro. With that in mind, his selection are two of the biggest names in professional wrestling. Those two names are Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels! As soon as they are announced, they both walk out from the back and join Eric Bischoff at the podium. Piper walks over to Tony Schiavone, smiles and adjusts his tie before walking over to join Bischoff and Michaels. Michaels smiles and says that tonight is just the beginning of their dominance on Monday Nitro. He says that the main event and the icon are here. Piper says that they are the top dogs in the yard and they will prove it in just a few moments. Michaels reminds everyone that beginning tomorrow night Monday Nitro will be must-see tv. Michaels and Piper walk off, heading to the ring for our opening bout. Match #1 Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels vs. Sting and Warrior Our first match here at Halloween Havoc 1995 features Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels against Sting and Warrior. All four men are icons of the sport but the announcers talk about the fact that Sting is wrestling with chronic migraines. The match kicks off with Warrior and Michaels in the ring. They exchange some quick strikes, including Warrior clotheslining Michaels over the top rope. Michaels skins the cat, pulling himself back in over the top rope before charging at Warrior and throwing him through the ropes. Michaels poses in the ring before Warrior joins him again. As the match moves forward, Michaels and Piper show off their undeniable chemistry in the ring together. They isolate Warrior in their corner and keep him in the ring, leaving Sting waiting on the apron for a big tag. Michaels hits Warrior with a flying elbow drop and makes the cover: One...Two...Kickout! The crowd gets solidly behind Warrior and he gets fired up, shaking the ropes and turning on that trademark intensity. Warrior manages to get control and tag in Sting. Sting comes in with clotheslines for both Piper and Michaels. Sting lifts Piper and slams him with a press slam! Sting goes after Michaels and sends him in the corner, climbing up and raining ten punches down on him. He sends Michaels to the opposite side and then hesitates, grabbing his head for a moment and shaking it. Warrior and Piper do battle outside the ring as Sting recovers and then rushes in for a Stinger Splash. Sting leaps but Michaels moves and Sting hits the ring post! Michaels rolls up Sting, placing his feet on the ropes for leverage: One...Two...Three! Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper get the win at 15:37! Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels p. 2. Update: Thank you to everyone who has made predictions so far. I thought I would throw in an update on what's going on in my life. On Sunday February 18, 2024 and Tuesday February 20, 2024, I went to the emergency room due to a kidney stone. On Tuesday February 27, 2024, I went in for surgery. I had to have lithotripsy done with them lasering out a kidney stone and then placing a stent in my ureter. Since then, I have been under painkillers and a heating pad every single day. I have surgery one week from today to have the stent removed. Needless to say, I haven't been one hundred percent focused when it comes to diary writing. I did manage to get a show done for my USPW diary in this time but that is significantly less than writing up a major pay-per-view event. I just don't want to disappoint so many readers, but I can promise that I am working on both diaries. I will have the shows up when I can, but I cannot promise any specific time frame. Thank you for your patience and understanding. While there's some time, I wanted to throw in a little game here if anyone wants to play. I wanted to know about any dream matches anyone has from this era of time, either with the wrestlers you've seen on my roster or wrestlers from around the world. Feel free to throw some in and, maybe, one day you'll see them in this diary.

Brock Cornish, Emily McQueen and Belle Bryden welcome everyone to the show and run down the card before we have Trent Shaffer and Raven Robinson walk out from the back. The man known as The Talent steps into the ring after Robinson holds the ropes open for him. Shaffer draws in boos from the crowd, dancing around the ring before being given a microphone by Robinson. Shaffer shows confidence in the way he stands and the way he speaks as he begins by insulting the fans in Utah. He says that these are sorry excuses for wrestling fans because they are booing him. He reminds everyone that he is The Talent and he is gracing this state with his presence. He says that nobody in this building will ever comprehend the level of talent that courses through his veins. Tonight, he has learned that there is some delusional fool that believes he is on his level. He says that there is only one man that stands above the rest and that's him. Robinson gets on the microphone and says that they should feel honored just to breathe the same air as The Talent and her. She says they are just a bunch of lowlifes who cannot comprehend their superiority. Before she can continue, the lights in the arena go dark. A spotlight shines on the top of the ramp. Smoke billows forth down the ramp and someone steps forth from the darkness. It's Skull DeBones! DeBones stands at the top of the ramp taking in the cheers from the crowd here in Utah. The man known as The Avenging Angel walks down the ramp toward the ring. Trent Shaffer takes a step back, putting Raven Robinson between himself and DeBones. DeBones walks to the steps and climbs the steps. He raises his arms and the lights return in the arena. DeBones steps over the top rope and gets into the ring. Shaffer looks shocked and scared, asking if this is the man he's facing tonight. DeBones gives a slow nod, removing the trenchcoat he is wearing. He grabs the iron mask and removes it, placing it down in his corner and revealing himself with the grey beard and moustache. Referee Baby Jamie steps into the ring and motions for Robinson to leave. Shaffer doesn't want her to go but she does, stepping to ringside. =81 Match #1 Trent Shaffer (w/Raven Robinson) vs. Skull DeBones The bell sounds as Trent Shaffer and Skull DeBones look across from one another. Skull DeBones picks up the win! Skull DeBones d. Trent Shaffer =75 Be Prepared For A Fight We go to the backstage area where the masked man, Enygma, is standing by. Enygma says that his leg is healing from the attack by Kirk Jameson at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Enygma says that Jameson made a big mistake by attacking him because Enygma will be the one to break Jameson's ankle. He challenges Jameson to meet him in the ring at Red, White And Blue. The promo is interrupted as the USPW National Champion Jack Jackson is walking by. He smirks as he walks up to Enygma, saying that nobody cares about the old man and his brittle bones. Jackson says that Enygma needs to start focusing on a title, like he did and look at what happened: the Megastar became the USPW National Champion. Enygma says that Jackson won't be champion for very long if he keeps running his mouth. Jackson challenges Enygma to meet him in the ring next week in Puerto Rico. Enygma accepts the challenge as long as Jackson puts his title on the line. Jackson agrees to the match and says he's going to put Enygma on the shelf where he belongs. And that's not an insult, that's a fact of life. Yeah! Jackson and Enygma go face to face but officials step in to separate them. We go to the ring. =54 Match #2 Gorgon vs. Charity Sweet (w/Nicky Champion) Nicky Champion escorts Charity Sweet down to the ring to face off with the man who put his wife on the shelf, Gorgon. This match is a conflict of styles as the high flying Sweet takes on the power wrestler Gorgon. Sweet speeds things up in the early going, going right after Gorgon with moves like a dropkick and a springboard clothesline. Gorgon tries leaving the ring to get a break and then goes face to face with Nicky Champion. Champion yells at her that she made a mistake in attacking his wife. With Gorgon being distracted, Sweet bounces off the ropes and leaps, hitting a tope con hilo! Sweet gets to her feet and draws in cheers, especially from the young female demographic who like seeing her in control. The match returns to the ring where Gorgon avoids a Sugar Smack, a missile dropkick from the top turnbuckle. Gorgon gets in control, keeping Sweet on the mat and using several restholds on her. The match has a very hot crowd and they are definitely in the corner of Sweet. Gorgon locks Sweet in a bearhug. The crowd boos as referee Rob Perkins checks on the arm of Sweet. The arm drops once...the arm drops twice...the arm drops thre -- NO! Sweet keeps her arm up! Sweet throws punches, a third one breaking the hold. Sweet bounces off the ropes and hits Gorgon with a spear. Sweet has the crowd cheering her on as she heads to the top turnbuckle. Sweet waits for Gorgon to get up and then leaps, hitting the Sugar Smack! Sweet makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Charity Sweet picks up the win at 8:20! Charity Sweet p. Gorgon =56 Coming Next Week Match #3 Raven Robinson (w/Trent Shaffer) vs. Pariah Our second women's match tonight and the second time seeing Raven Robinson and Trent Shaffer. She takes on the number one contender to the USPW Women's title in Pariah. Both of these female wrestlers are all-around wrestlers with some skill in every facet of being a wrestler. This is the first hour main event. Pariah takes control in the early moments of the match, sending Robinson out of the ring. She rushes to the ropes and leaps onto the top rope, spinning around and then hitting a springboard moonsault outside the ring to Robinson! What a move by Pariah! Brock Cornish and Emily McQueen are impressed by this move. The match goes back in the ring where Pariah sends Robinson to the ropes. Robinson ducks a clothesline from Pariah and comes back with a cross body press! Robinson takes control for the next several minutes, using some interference and distraction by Trent Shaffer whenever Pariah fires back. Robinson starts to wear herself down as Pariah seems to be employing a rope a dope strategy. Robinson goes for the Night Faller but Pariah blocks it and strikes Robinson with punches. Pariah throws Robinson with a German suplex. She is in control for the next several minutes before showing her talent by hitting Robinson with the Tornado DDT! Pariah makes a cover: One...Two...Three! Pariah picks up the win at 12:59! Pariah p. Raven Robinson =72 She Should've Kept The Paper Bag To end the first hour, we go backstage where Jaime Quine is watching a monitor. Quine turns and looks in the camera, bragging about what she did to Pariah last week. She says that Pariah should have kept the paper bag on because she looked better with it on. She says that Pariah is not going to make it here in USPW because nobody here likes her. But, then, everyone here is jealous of Quine because of how good she looks. She reminds everyone that she is the best looking female in this company. Quine pulls out her phone and takes a selfie, taking the time to say she is posting it to Instagram. She reminds everyone to like this picture. Quine smiles and we go to the ring to start the second hour. =69 Eulogy For Hawkeye And Wolf The second hour begins with the arrival of USPW World Champion Rich Money, his bodyguard 'Dirty' Dusty Ducont and Ducont's manager Elizabeth Cartier. The three of them walk to the ring together and step inside. Money plays up to the boos from the crowd before being given a microphone by Cartier. Money says that tonight is a sad night because he is here to give the eulogy for the friendship of Nicky Champion and Running Wolf. Money reminds everyone that this team, this friendship never resulted in any tag team titles for either of them. He calls that friendship a bigger waste than the money he spent on The Business because at least they kept him a champion. Money begins playing a video that begins showing the friendship of Wolf and Champion. It quickly changes to when they've had botched interference in each other's matches and when they've had fights over who has the right to face him for the USPW World title. When the video is over, Money is laughing in the ring and someone else is coming out from the back. That someone else is Nicky Champion, Ricn Money's opponent for tonight. As soon as Champion enters the ring, he is met by Dusty Ducont. Ducont and Champion go chest to chest with Ducont sneering at Champion. Champion actually smiles and takes a step back before raising a microphone and saying that he is looking forward to knocking the laughter from Money and winning the USPW World title tonight. Then, he will move on to Red, White And Blue and face the man that is still his friend in Running Wolf. Money says that he is going to give Champion the same opportunity that he gave Running Wolf before the last premium live event. He offers Champion a briefcase filled with money to lay down for him tonight. Champion immediately refuses the money and Money tells Ducont to attack. Ducont and Champion start to brawl but it quickly turns into a two on one battle with Money joining in with Ducont. Ducont quickly hits Champion with the Thrown Powerbomb. Champion is laid out on the mat and Money places his boot on the chest of Champion. Money raises his title up in the air with Ducont standing on one side and Cartier standing on the other side. Money, Ducont and Cartier leave the ring. Champion is helped to the back. The announcers question whether Champion will be ready for the match later on tonight here in Utah. =80 Match #4 Steve Frehley vs. Greg Black Our first match of the second hour features The Dark Destroyer Steve Frehley against Greg Black. The announcers talk about how Frehley will face Running Wolf next week in Puerto Rico to determine who will fight for the USPW World title at Red, White And Blue. These two wrestlers don't seem to click and it shows in the bit of botches throughout the contest. Frehley shows off his strength when he grabs Black by the throat and then lifts him up in a press slam. Frehley plays to the crowd, drawing in boos. Frehley sends Black to the ropes and catches him around the waist. He pauses and then throws Black overhead in an overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Frehley waits for Black to stand up and then brings him back down with the Dark Destroyer Spear! Frehley makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Steve Frehley picks up the win at 7:34! Steve Frehley p. Greg Black =74 Valentine's Date With Valentine's Day coming up, we are taken to a restaurant here in Utah. Sitting at the restaurant are Casey Valentine and the independent female manager known as Little Miss Sunshine. They start getting to know each other, with Little Miss Sunshine revealing her name is Teresa Buckfield. Valentine pours a little wine for each of them. Before they can continue, they are interrupted by Joss Thompson. The Complete Package asks Buckfield if she wants to be with a real man. Buckfield says she's here with a real man and would just like to continue their date. Thompson grabs her by the arm but Valentine stands up and shoves Thompson backward. Valentine and Thompson get into a brawl in the restaurant. Valentine splashes wine in Thompson's face. The police step in to break things up and we go to the ring. =63 Match #5 Dusty Ducont (w/Elizabeth Cartier) vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith Our penultimate match features two burly brawlers in 'Dirty' Dusty Ducont and Bulldozer Brandon Smith. The 6'8" 380 pound Canadian Ducont is joined by Elizabeth Cartier, who stands at ringside for this encounter. Cartier yells at Smith early in the bout, drawing his attention and giving the momentum to Ducont. Ducont picks up Smith and throws him with the snake eyes in the corner before bouncing off the ropes and dropping him with a big boot. Ducont goes for the Thrown Powerbomb early but Smith lands on his feet and kicks Ducont before dropping him with a DDT. The crowd gets solidly behind Smith as he makes his way to his feet. The two men continue to brawl back and forth with neither man sustaining a long advantage. There's another distraction by Cartier late in the bout and this leads to Ducont hitting a gutwrench suplex on Smith. Ducont picks up Smith again and lays him out with the Thrown Powerbomb! Smith is planted in the center of the ring and Ducont makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Dusty Ducont wins at 9:37! Dusty Ducont p. Bulldozer Brandon Smith =72 Wrong To Salute We go backstage one more time before our main event where we see The Texas Express seated on benches. Cooper Christie and Turk Trenneman are having an argument. Christie says they made a big mistake in saluting the Russian flag last month. Christie says they never should have done that. Trenneman says they need to move forward. After all, Petr Novak got suspended. Christie reminds Trenneman that Novak will be back in eight days. Then a voice comes from off-camera telling the both of them that they need to be Texas strong. It is a surprise when Ricky Dale Johnson from TCW shows up on the screen! RDJ says he absolutely got sick when he saw two Texas wrestlers saluting the Russian flag. He says that they need to grow a pair and then he issues a challenge for Red, White And Blue. The challenge is for a six man tag team match where RDJ teams with The Texas Express against The Cold Warriors and a partner of their choosing. Christie says they need to prove that you don't mess with Texas. Christie and Trenneman seem to have some definite hero worship going on when it comes to Ricky Dale Johnson. They all throw up the hook em horns sign and we go to the ring for our main event. =62 Match #6 USPW World Title Match Rich Money (w/Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier) defends vs. Nicky Champion The USPW World title is on the line as Rich Money, along with Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier in his corner, takes on the former USPW World Champion Nicky Hawkeye Champion. The bout itself has fantastic heat and great wrestling as the early few moments of the bout see a lot of chain wrestling between the two men and several quick near falls. Money shows off his talent when he hits Champion with the Money Shaker early in the bout. That is a European uppercut to the face following Champion's face being shoved down. Money sends Champion out of the ring and Elizabeth Cartier gets the referee's attention. With the referee distracted, Dusty Ducont strikes Champion with a lariat. Money exits the ring and teams up with Ducont, hitting Champion with a double vertical suplex on the mats outside the ring. Money brings the battle back inside the ring. He slips behind Champion and wraps his arms around Champion's waist. Money hits the Money In The Bank, a traditional German suplex, but done with an unusually high lift before the bridge. Champion's shoulders are down on the mat: One...Two...Shoulder Up! The crowd gets behind Champion, trying to get him back into this match. Money heads to the top turnbuckle, looking to hit the Dollars From Heaven but Champion puts his knees up and Money hits the frog splash on the knees, sending both men down hurting on the mat. Both Rich Money and Nicky Champion are slow to get to their feet. They meet in the center of the ring and begin exchanging punches with the crowd solidly behind Champion. Champion blocks a Money attempt at another Money Shaker and Champion hits him with a drop toe hold and then his version of a flatliner. Champion makes a cover but Elizabeth Cartier has the referee distracted! Champion bounces off the ropes and he gets tripped up by Dusty Ducont! Champion gets back up and hits a baseball slide kick to Ducont! Champion gets the crowd involved and then grabs Money. He brings Money down with a shoulderbreaker before heading to the top turnbuckle. Champion looks down at Money and then leaps with a version of a shooting star press but Champion doesn't quite make the full rotation! Champion lands hard on the mat and doesn't move. Rich Money sees it and referee Robbie Sanchez checks on Champion. Money moves in and rolls Champion up: One...Two...Three! Rich Money picks up the win at 15:26! Rich Money p. Nicky Champion =87 Who Will Stand Tall? What we will find out later on is that Nicky Champion has suffered a spinal disalignment. He is left lying on the mat as Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier enter the ring with the USPW World title belt. Rich Money is helped to his feet and gets to raise the belt up. As soon as they turn to Champion, Running Wolf comes running out from the back. Wolf slides in the ring and goes toe to toe with Money and Ducont! Wolf exchanges punches until Ducont strikes with a lariat. Money and Ducont stomp on Wolf until Steve Frehley rushes down to the ring, sliding inside. Money and Ducont motion to Wolf, allowing him to have the next shot. Frehley smiles and then hits Money with the Dark Destroyer Spear! Frehley gets up and ducks a lariat from Ducont. Frehley throws three straight punches before hitting a spit punch that knocks Ducont against the ropes. Frehley clotheslines Ducont over the top rope! Frehley looks down at the fallen Running Wolf before picking him up. He hits Wolf with the Frehley's Comet! Frehley stands tall to end the show. We'll see you next week when we're in Puerto Rico! =91

  6. Hey Charasmatic Enigma, Thanks for the predictions and the comments. I really do love reading why people choose the way they do. Jack Bruce, to be honest, is a bigger get in this diary than when he debuted. You'll find out why during this specific show. He is going to be a little bigger than I initially planned. But Jack Bruce should be a big deal, right? It's kind of like when AEW first started with Chris Jericho. Hey DexterXSR, Welcome to the diary! Thanks for your predictions and the comments. As stated, I love reading why people make the choices they do. Glad to see you getting into the C-Verse and enjoying the real world connections. As I think I've stated above, I do that for several reasons. One of which being that it's easier to write for them if I have a reference point. Another being that it helps people get into the diary a little more if they see someone they think they might know. A final one being that it's just fun and allows me to do a greatest hits of the real world around each other.
  7. I have a plan for a lot of them. For some, it's going to be quite random. So, for everyone predicting the first pick, don't forget that Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger and Barry Windham are not eligible to be drafted. The World Heavyweight Champion and World Tag Team Champions will be on both brands for now.
  8. Hey newbiezness, Always great to see your predictions and especially to read your comments. I really do appreciate them as we continue to move forward in this diary. Yeah, Money versus Champion on American Wrestling is a little bit shocking. But it can definitely help draw ratings as we move forward. But you're doing great in your SWF diary. Not sure I'd want to face you in a multiplayer game. LOL. Glad you're enjoying the build to the feuds so far. Frehley versus Jack Bruce is fun to write. It almost writes itself as I envision it like a feud between The Rock and Chris Jericho. As I know people can tell, I do a lot of comparing wrestlers to real life and use some real life quotes to help build promos. Also glad you're enjoying the importance I'm giving to some guys that may be an afterthought in other diaries I would make such as Jack Jackson and Dusty Ducont. It's good to build some guys up for the future. But I can definitely say that Enygma is not a happy masked man after what The Marksman did to him. LOL. Hey knkmaster69, Great to see you here. I can agree that Jack Bruce in USPW feels so wrong but so right at the same time. From an owner's perspective, the way that I see it is if Allen Packer really could sign Jack Bruce to a contract like this then why wouldn't he? Especially since I was able to get him where he doesn't just wrestle on events but can also wrestle on my A shows. That will definitely be a good thing following this next USPW American Wrestling. I won't say what happens but I may need Jack Bruce to stand and deliver. Hey KyTeran, Thanks for the predictions and especially for the comments. It's things like this that definitely keep diaries going. There are definitely some surprises and at least one big surprise coming up on this week's edition of American Wrestling. I was thrown for a loop on this one as you will see when the show comes out. Get ready for more surprises. Hey Martel123, Thanks for the predictions and the comments! I really do appreciate them. As I said earlier, there is at least one big surprise on this show. What that might be? Well, you'll just have to tune in and find out. I will say one thing about signings, I went into the editor beforehand and turned everyone's contract to random for time limit. So, no one has a prefilled, set contract length. And, if I'm being honest, one thing that I do on occasion is that I will go to a contract for someone I want and turn it down to 29 days. The next day, it turns to 28 and I am able to try to sign that wrestler. I don't do it more than once so if someone beats me out for a contract then I just lose out on that wrestler. I don't feel too bad about using the editor as I give the other promotion a chance to keep their wrestler, rather than just turning a contract down to 1 day or something.
  9. James Prudence vs Rocky Golden After his controversial win over Scythe at the pay-per-view, Golden will stay Golden on this night. SWF North American Title Shot Match Lenny Brown vs Primus Allen Both of them have a future in this business. I just happen to like Primus Allen better. 3vs4 Handicap Match High Flyin Hawaiian and Faith & Old Glory (Matty Faith & Masked Patriot) vs The Rat Pack (Hollywood Bret Starr, Justin Sensitive, Monty Trescarde and Paul Huntingdon) I usually pick the team that has the advantage in a handicap match. Though, storyline-wise, I wouldn't be surprised if the High Flyin Hawaiian team gets the win. Mikey Lau vs Charger Siaki He hasn't been able to beat Big Money but maybe he can charge it instead of using cash. Main Event: Rogue vs Scythe Scythe took a tough defeat at the pay-per-view. He will need to pick up the win here to get some heat back. (BONUS) Which match will have the highest rating? James Prudence vs Rocky Golden Comments on diary / last event: Hey newbiezness, Just getting caught back up on the diary and it's a great one. Looking forward to seeing how things move forward from here. Will Rocky Golden be more of a head of the table type guy now? Maybe so. Primus will demolish anyone who steps in his way...except maybe Des Davids. Tough going on the pay-per-view attempt but you know I'll always be pro-USPW.
  10. Hey sonny912, I can see where you're coming from as far as having a draft this early. My reasoning behind it is that my roster was and is growing larger with each passing day. I couldn't stop myself from signing some wrestlers and some that haven't even debuted yet and may get their debut or return in the draft. *wink wink* I wanted to keep this diary going and in order to do so I felt like I needed to do the brand split.

  13. Monday Week 4 October 1995 WCW Monday Nitro Location: Mississippi Coast Coliseum (South East) Attendance: 8,147 Overall Rating: 85 TV Rating: 2.10 Brand Split Coming This Sunday We are in Biloxi, Mississippi for WCW Monday Nitro! The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is the same building that WCW hosted Beach Blast in 1993. The show begins with Eric Bischoff, Bobby Heenan and Steve McMichael standing in the ring. Bischoff welcomes everyone to WCW Monday Nitro and he talks about the upcoming brand split that will begin this Sunday at Halloween Havoc. He says that Monday Nitro and Saturday Night will have their own exclusive rosters. These rosters will be determined by a draft at Halloween Havoc. Both brands will receive ten selections. The remaining wrestlers will be randomly assigned to a brand. He adds in that the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan and the WCW World Tag Team Champions Lex Luger and Barry Windham are not eligible to be drafted as they will be on both brands. During the draft, tag teams and stables will be considered one selection or you can take only one member from each. He says that, at that draft, Bobby Heenan, Steve McMichael and himself will represent Monday Nitro and Tony Schiavone, Dusty Rhodes and Gene Okerlund will represent Saturday Night. He says that, beginning in January, the pay-per-views will alternate between the two brands. Only World War 3 and Starrcade will be joint pay-per-views. Bobby Heenan says that The Brain is going to make some shrewd picks for Monday Nitro. After all, they don't call him The Brain for nothing. Heenan says that he will represent Nitro tonight at the start of the second hour in a coin flip to determine which show will get the first pick. He adds in that Dusty Rhodes will represent Saturday Night for the humanoids. Heenan says that they will make sure to pick the best wrestlers for their show. McMichael agrees and says that Monday Nitro will have the best wrestlers and the biggest matches. He says that they are going to take Saturday Night to school. Bischoff wraps things up, stating that they need to head to the announce table for our first match tonight. The three men exit the ring and head to the announce table as the crowd roars with excitement. Match #1 Dean Malenko vs. Ricky Steamboat The first match of the night features the Man of a Thousand Holds Dean Malenko against The Dragon Ricky Steamboat. The match starts with a series of collar and elbow tie-ups with both wrestlers vying for control. Malenko shows off his technical prowess in the early going with a variety of quick holds and submission attempts. Steamboat counters with his lightning-fast agility, slipping free from Malenko and delivering crisp arm drags and arm bars with a dropkick or two thrown here and there. Malenko grounds Steamboat and focuses in on the right arm of The Dragon. Malenko uses precision holds to keep Steamboat on the mat, including locking in a cross armbreaker. Steamboat manages to fight back, though. The Dragon speeds up the pace and strikes Malenko with chops to the chest before taking him down with a body slam. Steamboat heads to the top turnbuckle, waiting for Malenko to get up. Steamboat leaps and hits the Diving Crossbody! Steamboat hooks a leg: One...Two...Three! Ricky Steamboat gets the win at 15:01! Ricky Steamboat p. Dean Malenko =81 Throwing Rocks Once the ring is cleared, the crowd rises in boos as Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels make their way down to the ring. Michaels poses in center of the ring with Piper standing behind him. The crowd boos loudly and seems to be a very hot crowd here in Mississippi. Piper gets on the microphone first and talks about not being in the building last week. He says that Sting and Warrior took advantage of him not being here but they are boys throwing rocks at men with machine guns and that is one of their biggest mistakes. Piper says that this is not how we do things in his world. He says that he has proven time and time again that he is one of the top professional wrestlers in the world and he will prove it again this Sunday at Halloween Havoc. He hands off the microphone to Shawn Michaels and HBK takes a step forward. He begins by talking about the fact that he would have liked to have missed things this week. He says that they are in Biloxi, Mississippi, also known as the armpit of America. He says he's seen better sights in a dumpster fire behind a baby factory. Michaels says that these rednecks in the crowd wish they could be HBK and the ladies wish they could have a man like the Heartbreak Kid. More boos come out from the crowd before those boos turn to cheers. The cheers come from the arrival of Sting and Warrior! The crowd gets pumped up as the former tag team make their way out from the back and enter the ring across from Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper. Sting looks directly at Piper, asking him if he really wants to talk about a rock war? He says that he and Warrior are not here to play kids games. He says they're here to fight. He says that if Piper and Michaels think they can run their mouths here on Nitro, they've got another thought coming. Warrior is given the microphone and he begins with his usual 'Speak to me, Warriors!' Warrior growls and snarls and says that he has come here to Biloxi from Parts Unknown to show Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper that they've never fought men like him and like Sting. He says that they are the true warriors of the sport and they can prove it right now. After Michaels throws in an insult, the four men begin brawling. Punches are flying and bodies are colliding in the center of the ring! In the chaos, Sting and Warrior get control. Michaels and Piper are knocked backward and they get out of the ring, backing up the ramp. Sting and Warrior beat their chests as they stand tall in the ring. The crowd erupts into cheers before Sting and Warrior leave the ring. They high five the fans on their way to the back. Match #2 The Horsemen vs. The Varsity Club It's already time for our first hour main event as the three members of The Horsemen, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman take on the three members of the Varsity Club, Mike Rotunda, Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. The match begins with Mike Rotunda and Ric Flair in the ring. Flair manages to back Rotunda in a corner and hits him with several knife edge chops to the chest. Rotunda fires back with some forearm smashes and then goes technical on Flair, dropping him to the mat with a quick double leg takedown. Rotunda uses several expertly placed mat wrestling moves to keep Flair down before Flair quickly backs into his corner and tags in The Enforcer. As Arn Anderson comes in, Eric Bischoff lets the fans know that Anderson and Pillman will take on Steve Williams and Terry Gordy this Sunday at Halloween Havoc. Anderson and Rotund exchange stiff hits in the center of the ring before Anderson goes to the eyes. Rotunda manages to tag in Terry Gordy but Gordy gets caught in no-man's land. Gordy gets stuck in the corner of The Horsemen and they use quick and frequent tags to keep Gordy down. As the match continues, Gordy manages to make the hot tag to Steve Williams. Dr. Death comes in on the hot tag and chaos ensues as all six men get involved. Williams and Rotunda hit Flair with the double flapjack and then Williams sends Flair into a corner. Flair flips up and over the corner, landing on the apron. He runs across the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle where he's met by Terry Gordy. Gordy slams Flair off the turnbuckle! Williams tags Rotunda in and the fight continues with Anderson and Pillman fighting Williams and Gordy on the outside of the ring. In the ring, Ric Flair and Mike Rotunda are the two legal men. Flair pokes the eye of Rotunda and then reaches into his trunks, pulling out a pair of brass knuckles. Rotunda comes over and Flair nails Rotunda with the brass knuckles punch! The knuckles are slid back into Flair's trunks and he rolls Rotunda up, making the cover: One...Two...Ric Fair's feet are on the ropes...Three! The Horsemen win at 19:56! The Horsemen p. The Varsity Club =82 Hacksaw From there, we go to a pre-taped promo with the man challenging for the United States title this Sunday, 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan! The rugged figure of Duggan stands before a Stars & Stripes background. Duggan begins with 'hey there, folks, it's a message from your good friend Hacksaw Jim Duggan!' He says he's going to speak from the heart here. He says that everybody knows he's a simple man and a man of integrity. He says that when he steps in the ring he gives it everything he has. He says he's going to have to do that and more when he steps in the ring with The Giant this Sunday. He says that, at Halloween Havoc, he is going to give it everything he's got against The Giant to win the WCW United States title. He tells The Giant that he better be ready because Hacksaw is coming for him and when he's done, all The Giant is going to see will be Stars & Stripes. He releases a "Hooo!" before slamming his 2X4 into the camera to go to black. Coin Flip The second hour begins with the arrival of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan from the announce table. The theme to WCW Monday Nitro plays Heenan out to the ring. Heenan enters the ring and leans against one corner as the theme to WCW Saturday Night begins to play. Here comes "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes climbs into the ring, looking across at The Brain. Heenan grabs a microphone and begins to extol the virtues of working on WCW Monday Nitro. He says that they have the best show with the best matches and the best wrestlers each and every week. Rhodes gets on the microphone and talks about tradition. He says that's what WCW Saturday Night stands for. He says it's the heart and soul of WCW. An official brings a coin into the ring and Bobby Heenan snatches it immediately. Heenan holds it up and the camera shows the WCW Monday Nitro logo on one side and the WCW Saturday Night logo on the other side. Heenan says that this is where he proves that WCW Monday Nitro is the best program on television! It begins with getting the first pick in the draft. Rhodes speaks up, reminding everyone of the stakes at hand. The winner of the coin toss will pick first in the draft this Sunday at Halloween Havoc. Heenan flips the coin in the air. It spins a few times and then lands. The winner is... WCW SATURDAY NIGHT! Dusty Rhodes smiles in his corner as WCW Saturday Night will get the very first selection in the brand split draft. Bobby Heenan frowns for a moment and then gives a sarcastic congratulations to Rhodes. He says that WCW Saturday Night is going to need the first selection because they don't have anyone smart enough making the selections for them. He says that everybody knows that Monday Nitro is where it's at. Rhodes and Heenan go face to face for a moment before Heenan backs down and exits the ring, heading for the announce booth. Rhodes gets on the microphone and says he's going to bring the best show to WCW Saturday Night so make sure that everybody is watching. He says they're going to get funky like a monkey and somebody's going to go to the pay winda! Rhodes drops the microphone and leaves for the back. Match #3 The Powers of Pain vs. The Armstrong Boys Up next is a tag team match pitting The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian and The Warlord) against The Armstrong Boys (Scott and Steve Armstrong). The match is a showcase for the menacing Powers of Pain. They waste no time in asserting their dominance in this contest. They use raw power against both members of the Armstrongs. It's definitely shown when The Barbarian lifts both Scott and Steve Armstrong in a stalling double vertical suplex! Scott Armstrong is thrown off the apron and into the guardrail, leading to The Barbarian and The Warlord isolating Steve Armstrong. The Warlord finally locks Steve in the Full Nelson. Warlord's massive arms squeeze the life out of Steve Armstrong. The pain becomes too much and Steve is forced to submit. The Powers of Pain win the match at 1:49! The Powers of Pain d. The Armstrong Boys =41 The Hammer With that, we go to another pre-taped promo. This one is by Greg The Hammer Valentine. The announcers remind us that Valentine will go one on one with Hulk Hogan in a non-title match tonight. Valentine says he has a message for everyone tonight. He says that message is the fact that he has the opportunity of a lifetime. He says that he is not here to talk about what happened with The Horsemen. He says they will consider it their loss when he steps into the ring with Hulk Hogan and beats the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. In fact, he's not just going to beat him. He says he's going to make the Hulkster submit. He says that, tonight, he is going to prove that he is the better man over Hulk Hogan and should have been in Hogan's place all along. He tells Hogan to lace his boots up real tight tonight because when all is said and done he is going to prove that The Hammer is the real king of the ring. Valentine poses and we go to the ring. Suffering From An Injury Big Bubba Rogers makes his way to the ring to boos from this crowd. The announcers talk about him attacking Eddy Guerrero last week on the orders of Diamond Dallas Page. Rogers stands in the corner, waiting for the arrival of Guerrero. Instead, the big screen lights up to show Eddy Guerrero standing there leaning on crutches to stand up. Guerrero says that, due to the attack last week, he suffered a simple zygomatic fracture and will be out of action for up to a month. Guerrero says that this makes him angry but he is not medically cleared to wrestle. So he went backstage and talked with several of his friends. He says that everyone wanted to step up in his place. But he chose someone who he knows can get the job done against Bubba. The screen turns off and out from the back comes Tito Santana! Santana walks out to the ring, high fiving the fans. When he enters the ring, he looks focused on the man across from him. Referee David Manning calls for the bell. Match #4 Big Bubba Rogers vs. Tito Santana Our fourth match of the night features Big Bubba Rogers taking on Tito Santana, a replacement for Eddy Guerrero. Rogers immediately attacks Santana as the bell sounds, knocking him backward into the corner. He hits him with several knees to the chest and then chokes him on the top rope for a four count before breaking. Santana, though, fights back, showing his heart and fire. The two wrestlers meet in the middle of the ring and exchange punches! Santana uses his speed to push the momentum further against Rogers. Santana climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps, hitting Rogers with a flying back elbow. He makes the cover but only gets a two count. As the match moves forward, Rogers regains the momentum. He sends Santana to the ropes and catches him with the powerful Bubba Slam! Rogers makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Big Bubba Rogers wins at 10:40! Big Bubba Rogers p. Tito Santana =72 Face To Face Once the ring is cleared, we hear the music of 'Also Sprach Zarathustra!' That can only mean one man and that is the arrival of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Flair walks to the ring and steps inside, giving a strut across the ring and releasing a 'Whoo!' Flair gets on the microphone and reminds everyone that he is a living legend and the standard by which all wrestlers are measured. He says that he has the backing of the most elite group of professional wrestlers in the business, The Four Horsemen. Then, he turns his attention to this Sunday where he steps in the ring again with Randy Savage. Flair reminds Savage that they've done this dance again and again but this time it's different. This time, when he proves that he is the man once again, he will be moving forward to take on Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight title at World War 3. Flair reminds Savage that diamonds are forever and so is Ric Flair. Before Flair can continue, he is interrupted by some Pomp And Circumstances. "The Macho Man" Randy Savage walks out from the back alone. Miss Elizabeth must still be in the back as Savage climbs onto the apron and then leaps into the ring. Savage walks around Ric Flair and then grabs a microphone. Savage begins by saying to 'freak out, freak out, freak out!' He says that the Macho Madness is running wild in Biloxi, Mississippi. He says he can feel it from every single one of you and that the Madness is filling his veins. He turns his attention to Flair and says that Flair may think he's the man but he's nothing compared to the Madness. Dig it? Flair says he's more than just the man. He's a limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheeling, dealing son of a gun! He reminds the fans here in Mississippi that he's like Space Mountain. He may be the oldest ride in the park but he still has the longest lines and you can get in line as long as you're eighteen years of age or older. Whoo! Savage and Flair go face to face and Flair kicks his leg out, hitting Savage with a low blow. The crowd boos as Flair shoves Savage to the mat. Flair smiles and looks down at Savage, telling him that this Sunday Miss Elizabeth will find out what a real man is like. He invites Elizabeth to party with him Sunday night when he wins the match before exiting the ring. Officials come in and help Savage to the back. This Sunday night will be spectacular! But now it's time for our main event! Match #5 Non-Title Match Greg Valentine vs. Hulk Hogan (w/Jimmy Hart) Two veterans are stepping in the ring this week in a non-title match as Greg The Hammer Valentine takes on The immortal Hulk Hogan. These two veterans begin the match slowly with neither man gaining a real advantage. The tide turns for Hogan in the first few minutes as he uses straight punches on Valentine, knocking him backward. Valentine moves into a corner and uses the referee as a shield to keep Hogan from attacking him. The referee gets free and Valentine pokes the eye of Hogan before turning his attention to the right leg of Hogan. With Jimmy Hart all upset at ringside, Valentine focuses on the right knee of Hogan, including banging it hard against the ring post. Valentine is all business in this match, stomping on the knee well and then dropping down so he can throw punches against the knee. The Hammer picks up Hogan and brings him down with a belly-to-back suplex. He makes a cover: One...Two...Shoulder Up! Hart wipes his brow at ringside. In the ring, Valentine continues his attack on Hogan. Valentine bounces off the ropes and hits a pointed elbow drop to the skull of Hogan! Valentine starts peppering Hogan with elbow smashes to the skull. Valentine drags Hogan to the center of the ring and locks on the Figure Four! The Figure Four is locked on tight with Hogan crying out in pain! Hogan shakes his head when asked if he wants to give up. Hogan's shoulders fall to the mat and referee Nick Patrick makes the count: One...Two...Shoulders Up! Hogan gets the fire and resilience from this crowd here in Mississippi! He manages to reverse the pressure and get the hold broken. Both Hulk Hogan and Greg Valentine are down on the mat following the Figure Four. A visibly tired Valentine gets to his feet first and then grabs Hogan and throws a punch but Hogan shakes his head! Valentine throws another punch and Hogan shrugs it off. Hogan gets to his knees and then to his feet! Valentine throws an elbow and that gets ignored as Hogan points at The Hammer! Hogan wags his finger at Valentine! Valentine moves in for another elbow smash but it's blocked! Hogan throws a punch! It connects! A second punch connects! A third punch connects! Hogan grabs the arm of Valentine and whips him toward the ropes. Valentine comes back into a big boot! Hogan grabs his leg afterward in pain. He draws in a few deep breaths, listening to the Hulkamaniacs in the crowd. Hogan bounces off the ropes -- Leg Drop! Hogan grabs his leg again but manages to make the cover: One...Two...Three! Hulk Hogan wins the match at 16:18! Hulk Hogan p. Greg Valentine =78 Blindsided Hulk Hogan is standing tall in this match! What a match for the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! Hogan manages to get to his feet, favoring that right leg. He gets his arm raised by referee Nick Patrick. Hogan begins posing in the ring, cupping his ear to the crowd and getting huge cheers. Hogan's poses are broken up by the arrival of Ric Flair into the ring. Hogan doesn't see Flair and Flair hits Hogan with a chopblock to the right knee! Hogan goes down hard. Flair stomps on the knee. He grabs the leg and jerks it hard before dropping an elbow on the knee. Flair gets to his feet and begins to strut in the ring. Jimmy Hart is nowhere to be found at this point. He must have run to the back to get help. The strutting is cut short by the arrival of Randy Savage! The Macho Man rushes into the ring and trips Flair down with a double leg takedown! The two men exchange punches on the mat with Flair finally rolling out of the ring to safety. Savage pulls Hogan to his feet and then turns his focus back on Flair. Savage and Hogan go back to back. But when their backs touch, both men spin around with fists raised. The two on again, off again friends go face to face. The tension between the two can be felt by the crowd as this might be the match at World War 3. Miss Elizabeth rushes down to the ring. She steps inside and steps between Savage and Hogan. She keeps the two separated but stands by the side of Savage. The show comes to an end with Savage and Hogan staring each other down, Ric Flair watching from outside the ring and Miss Elizabeth standing beside Savage. Make sure you tune in to WCW Saturday Night this Saturday and Halloween Havoc this Sunday! The brand split is coming!

  15. Wednesday Week 1 February 2020 USPW American Wrestling Location: Minnesota Coliseum (Mid West) Attendance: 10,000 Overall Rating: 85 TV Viewers: 10,425,551 The World Championship Minnesota Coliseum is on fire as USPW American Wrestling begins. The cheers for the beginning of the show turn to boos as Rich Money, Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier walk down to the ring. While they are walking, we are shown a quick highlight video of Stars, Stripes And Slams. It focuses on Money losing to Running Wolf by disqualification and Jack Bruce making his USPW debut. The three people enter the ring and Cartier hands Money a microphone. Ducont stands in the background with his arms crossed over his chest, looking menacing. Money begins by bragging that he walked into Stars, Stripes And Slams as the USPW World Champion and walked out of Stars, Stripes And Slams as the USPW World Champion. It was almost like somebody predicted that would happen. Oh, wait, that was him. Money says that there is no one on this roster that can take this title from him and that includes Jack Bruce. He tells Bruce that he should have stayed retired. Before Money can continue, familiar music begins to play. Here comes Nicky Champion! Hawkeye walks out to the ring to some cheers from the crowd. A few boos are in there as well as the commentators talk about how he lost the tables match at Stars, Stripes And Slams to Steve Frehley. Champion enters the ring and goes face to face with Dusty Ducont as Ducont steps between Champion and Rich Money. Champion smiles and tells Ducont that he better step back or there might be some trouble. Champion says he came here to talk to Rich Money. He discusses how Money won that title, using outside interference. Champion issues a challenge for Money to put that title on the line next week against him. Money reminds Champion that he didn't win this past Saturday. Champion fires back that Money didn't win either. Before they can continue, Rick Law comes out and stands at the top of the ramp. Law says that he likes the thought of that match right here on American Wrestling. Law books the match, stating that this will be one of the best matches in the history of American Wrestling. Dusty Ducont blindsides Champion, attacking him from behind. Ducont knocks Champion to the mat and begins stomping on him. Money walks over and smiles, holding the title belt up and telling Champion that this is the closest he will come to the title. More familiar music begins to play. =81 Running Wolf comes running from the back, entering the ring and trading punches with Rich Money! Wolf sends Money over the top rope with a clothesline before turning his attention to Dusty Ducont. Wolf and Ducont exchange punches and here comes Nicky Champion! Hawkeye made it to his feet and he teams up with Wolf on Ducont as Elizabeth Cartier exits the ring and joins Rich Money at ringside. Wolf hits Ducont with the Wolf Tamer and Ducont rolls out of the ring. Ducont, Money and Cartier stand at ringside, backing up some up the ramp. Running Wolf turns to Nicky Champion, shoving him backward. Wolf yells at Champion that he is cheating Wolf out of a rematch with Money. Champion looks shocked at the moment and Wolf exits the ring, walking past the Money contingent. Money just smiles at the moment before leaving to the back. Champion slowly walks to the back, looking more surprised than anything. =85 Match #1 Kirk Jameson (w/Maryam Vega) vs. Grandmaster Phunk It's time for our first match of the night as the Marksman Kirk Jameson steps in the ring against Grandmaster Phunk. These two men have a combined 35 years of experience in the ring. Jameson has the technical edge in this contest and it shows as he keeps Phunk on his toes throughout the nearly six minute contest. The match is mostly a showcase of Jameson as the commentators talk about his attack on Enygma last Saturday night. Jameson is definitely looking to make a name for himself here. Jameson focuses on the knee of Phunk throughout the contest, including slamming the knee against the ring post. At ringside, Maryam Vega seems very happy with the work of her charge. Phunk got a brief advantage but a distraction by Vega set up Phunk for the Kirk-Hold. Jameson locked in the Elevated Leg Lock and Phunk is forced to submit. Kirk Jameson picks up the win at 5:56! Kirk Jameson d. Grandmaster Phunk =54 Coming Next Week Match #2 The Olympus Order vs. Regular Joe and Natural Storm Our second match of the night has the added bonus of having a hot crowd out here in Minnesota as The Olympus Order take on Regular Joe and Natural Storm. This six man tag team match is a lot closer than some people might have thought. That is due to the tag team experience of Natural Storm. They used frequent tags in and out in the early goings to keep Siale Valhalla on his toes. Once Valhalla tagged in Zeus, though, it became a lot of focus on The Olympus Order beating down Regular Joe. Joe, though, showed some strength when he wouldn't let himself get pinned. Instead, he took some momentum and made a hot tag to Eddie Howard. Howard came in with fists flying for all three members of The Olympus Order. It devolved down to all six men in the ring fighting it out. Joe was tossed from the ring right before D.C. Rayne was tossed out. This left Howard in the ring against all three members of The Olympus Order. They used some double and even triple teams on Howard before Bad Intentions hit with the Decapitator. Bash Street made the cover: One...Two...Three! The Olympus Order wins at 10:08! The Olympus Order p. Regular Joe and Natural Storm =63 We'll Find A Partner From the ring, we go to a pre-taped video with Brock Cornish sitting in a news set. We have Update! Cornish talks about what happened last Saturday at Stars, Stripes And Slams. He gives a run down of the card and the winners from Steve Frehley putting Nicky Champion through a table to Running Wolf defeating Rich Money by disqualification and the arrival of Jack Bruce. Cornish turns his attention to the USPW World Tag Team title situation, reminding folks that Jacob Jett and Julius Moor defeated Bad Intentions by DQ when Zeus interfered. Jett and Moor were left laying on the mat. For more on this, he sends us to a promo by the USPW World Tag Team Champions. Jacob Jett begins the promo by saying that the two of them didn't leave Stars, Stripes And Slams exactly how they were planning. He says they were laid out by three men with a three on two advantage. Julius Moor speaks up on how the three person advantage wasn't fair on that night but that he has a challenge for The Olympus Order. Moor challenges them to a six man tag team match at Red, White And Blue. Moor says they will find a partner between now and then to team up with them and they will even put up another shot at the USPW World Tag Team titles if The Olympus Order can win. But Moor says they won't have to worry about it because they will prove that Zeus is only a man, not a god. Moor and Jett pose before we go to the ring. =58 Match #3 Number One Contender's Match Jillian Jarvis vs. Pariah It's time for our first hour main event. It is a match for the number one contendership to the USPW Women's title as The Iron Lady Jillian Jarvis takes on Pariah. These two women know each other very well as they have been feuding since September of last year. The two women exchange some well-timed chain wrestling in the early goings of the match. Jarvis loses the advantage and slides out of the ring to take a breather, asking for a timeout. Pariah waits in the ring for Jarvis to get back in instead of chasing her out to ringside. The match goes on with momentum slipping back and forth between the two great female wrestlers. Jarvis goes for the Tornado Elbow Smash on Pariah but Pariah ducks and she takes down Jarvis with a clothesline. The fans are solidly behind Pariah in this moment as she continues to move forward in this contest. Pariah motions toward the turnbuckle and grabs Jarvis. She drags Jarvis over and hits the Tornado DDT! Pariah makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Pariah advances to Red, White And Blue at 15:22! Pariah p. Jillian Jarvis =68 Paper Bag Pariah picks up the win and will face Jaime Quine at Red, White And Blue for the USPW Women's title. Speaking of Quine, she slides into the ring behind Pariah and attacks her with a double sledge to the back. Quine quickly pulls Pariah to her feet and drops her with the K.O. Kick! Pariah is down on the mat, especially hurt after an over fifteen minute match with Jillian Jarvis and now this attack by Quine. Quine pulls out a paper bag and smiles before she places the paper bag over the head of Pariah. Quine drops to a knee and pulls out her cell phone, taking a selfie with her kneeling over the fallen Pariah. If this happens at Red, White And Blue, Jaime Quine will definitely walk away with her title intact. Quine exits the ring to boos from the crowd. Pariah is slow to get up and needs help to head to the back to end our first hour. =70 Valentine's Day Our second hour begins with the arrival of Cool Hand Casey Valentine! Valentine high fives the crowd as he makes his way to the ring. He slips inside and is given a microphone. Valentine says that next week they celebrate his favorite day of the year and that is Valentine's Day. Valentine talks about last week when he defeated Joss Thompson to help restore his family's legacy. He says that he talked with his Uncle following the match and his Uncle was very proud of him for doing what he did to Thompson. He says that he is moving forward now and wants to bring the USPW National title back to his family where it belongs. The crowd gives a few cheers to that. Before he can continue though, he is interrupted by some familiar music. That music brings out The Complete Package Joss Thompson. Thompson stomps out angrily to the ring and steps inside, flexing his muscles to boos from the crowd. Thompson asks for and is given a microphone. He starts by telling Casey Valentine to shut up because nobody cares about him. Thompson says that he took Valentine too lightly last week. But, he says, he would never take any opponent lightly on a bigger stage. So he challenges Casey Valentine to meet him one on one at Red, White and Blue. Valentine seems to think for a moment before telling Thompson that you're on! After a few more words back and forth, the two men begin brawling in the ring. Thompson rakes the eyes of Valentine and then drops him with the Clean Cutter, a spinning back suplex bomb. Thompson stands up and flexes over the body of Valentine before officials rush the ring and escort Thompson from the ring. Valentine rolls out and walks to the back under his own power. =81 Match #4 Mick Muscles vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith Our first match of the second hour brings in two wrestlers on opposite ends of their careers. Mick Muscles, a former USPW World Champion, has been a wrestler for 26 years. Bulldozer Brandon Smith has been a wrestler for 12 years. Neither man is a young wrestler in this contest and it shows in the back and forth of this battle. Muscles gets the advantage early in the bout and immediately goes for the Bulldozer Powerbomb but Smith blocks the lift and starts his advantage. He hits Muscles with a triple German suplex as the announcers talk about Smith's loss to Trent Shaffer this past Saturday at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Smith picks up Muscles and hits the Backdrop Driver. Smith makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Bulldozer Brandon Smith gets the win at 9:47! Bulldozer Brandon Smith p. Mick Muscles =72 Proving Myself With the crowd cheering in the background, we go to the office of Rick Law. Law is seated behind his desk watching the monitor. He goes to speak but before he can speak he is interrupted by Trent Shaffer and Raven Robinson barging in his office. Shaffer begins bragging to Law about his win at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Shaffer says that his victory proves, once again, that he is the top talent here in USPW. Raven Robinson talks up Shaffer to Law, saying that he deserves a future USPW World title shot. Law says he will think about that. However, next week he will have a match set up for both Robinson and Shaffer. He tells Shaffer that he will make sure that the wrestler is up to the talent of Shaffer. Shaffer says there's no one in this company that is up to his level, reminding Law that he pinned Nicky Champion, the face of USPW. Law smiles and says that they will see but for now they can get out of his office. Shaffer and Robinson turn and leave as we are brought to our penultimate match. =75 Match #5 USPW National Title Match Roger Cage defends vs. Jack Jackson Our penultimate match was made this past Saturday when Roger Smooth Cage agreed to defend his USPW National title against Jacksonville Jack Jackson. Cage is definitely the veteran in this match, having 16 years of wrestling to Jackson's three years of experience. Jackson is more of a brawler and it shows in the early goings of the match as he throws hands with Cage. Cage fights back, using his veteran experience to take things out of the ring. Cage sends Jackson into the ring apron back-first. Cage brings the action back into the ring and is in control throughout the middle portion of the match. Jackson is locked into a Boston crab by Cage but eventually makes his way to the bottom rope. Jackson stays in the corner as the hold is released. Cage leans in and Jackson grabs him, throwing him through the turnbuckle to hit the ring post beyond. Jackson gets fired up and brings down Cage with a body slam and then bounces off the ropes, shouting 'YEAH!' before dropping an elbow. Jackson picks up Cage and hits the Implant DDT in the middle of the ring! Jackson makes the cover, hooking the leg: One...Two...Three! Jack Jackson wins the USPW National title at 10:28! Jack Jackson p. Roger Cage =60 Prepared To Go One On One We cut to a video where we see a pre-taped promo with Professional Wrestling's Princess Alicia Strong. Strong says that tonight is going to go the same as it went last Saturday night when The Triumverate were victorious. Strong has a little bit of a problem with a few filler words involved during the promo as she tries to improvise throughout. She does say that Melody is going to fall and worship Pro Wrestling's Princess. She reminds Melody that The Triumverate are running this company and in tonight's main event they are going to run over her. From there, we go to a promo from Melody. Melody says that she is honored to be in the main event tonight, especially since it's the show following a premium live event. She talks about the latest feud with Alicia Strong. She reminds Strong that this match will be one on one. She promises to make Strong dance to her tune and then her song will be over. Melody poses and we go to a locker room. =70 A Promise In this locker room sit Running Wolf and Nicky Champion. The two of them are in the middle of an argument. Wolf accuses Champion of stealing his title shot. Champion reminds Wolf that everyone wants a title match. He says that if you don't want a title match then you should get out of the business. The two step face to face to each other but they are stopped by the arrival of Rick Law. Law steps in and says that, in two weeks, American Wrestling will be headed to Puerto Rico. He says that in Puerto Rico, Running Wolf will get a shot at earning another World title match. He says that Wolf will face Steve Frehley in the main event. The winner will receive a World title match at Red, White And Blue. Wolf nods and says that they're not done talking but now he has to focus on his match with Steve Frehley. Champion offers that he will give Wolf notes on being in the ring with The Dark Destroyer. Wolf doesn't answer, instead walking out of the locker room. With that, we go to the ring for our main event. =85 Match #6 Alicia Strong vs. Melody It is main event time and we have Professional Wrestling's Princess Alicia Strong taking on Melody. Both of these women's wrestlers are great all-around wrestlers and it shows as they go to a stalemate in the early going of the match. Alicia Strong manages to take control of the match and shows off her skills by keeping Melody down on the mat and focusing on her right arm. This will definitely hurt her in an attempt at a Melody Maker during the bout. Strong brings the action outside the ring and runs Melody into the ring post shoulder first. She picks her up and brings her over to the guardrail, dropping her down on the guardrail! Melody rolls off the guardrail, landing hard at ringside. Strong grabs Melody and brings her back into the ring. Strong brings Melody over with a vertical suplex, standing up and posing over her. The crowd boos Strong as she stomps on Melody before placing her boot at Melody's throat for a four count. Strong picks up Melody and sets her up on the top turnbuckle. Strong climbs up and hooks Melody -- Superplex! Melody lands hard on her back and Strong makes a cover: One...Two...Shoulder Up! Alicia Strong remains in control as the crowd boos loudly. She picks up Melody and prepares for the Angel Driver but Melody blocks her. Melody fights back, standing up straight and throwing a few punches with her left hand. Melody knocks Strong back in the corner and climbs up, raining ten punches down on Strong! The crowd gets solidly behind Melody as she drops down and shakes her right arm, trying to get some feeling back into it. Melody climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits Strong with a missile dropkick! Melody pulls Strong back up and the two exchange punches again with the crowd cheering for Melody and booing Strong as each punch lands. Melody grabs Strong by the hair and throws her into the turnbuckle chest-first. Melody rolls Strong up: One...Two...Three! Melody picks up the win at 10:31! Melody p. Alicia Strong =82 He's Here 'You are beautiful on the inside. You are innocence personified And I will drag you down and sell you out Run away!' The crowd sings along to Judas as Jack Bruce makes his American Wrestling debut. Bruce high fives the fans along the way toward the ring. Bruce enters the ring and absorbs in a very hot crowd all around him. A 'Jack Bruce' chant begins in the crowd. After a moment, Bruce takes the microphone and says 'For those of you who don't know who I am, welcome to the Jack Bruce Experiment. For those of you who do know who I am, all hail the Ayatollah of rock and roll-a!' Bruce says that it feels good to make his mark in the one promotion where he has never been. He says that he dominated the promotion up north. He destroyed the promotion in the south west. Now, he's here to face the best competition here in USPW. He says that he's seen a few familiar faces, men that walked out on the company he was in. He says he's here to take on them all. Before he can continue, though, some familiar music begins to play. Here comes Steve Frehley! The Dark Destroyer, as pointed out by Brock Cornish on commentary, is one of the men/women that walked out of that promotion up north. Frehley steps inside the ring and looks across at Jack Bruce. Frehley begins by telling Jack Bruce that he needs to shut his mouth and know his role because the millions (and millions) of Steve Frehley fans are chanting his name. There's a small chant of Frehley from the crowd here in Minnesota. Frehley tells Bruce that, since he mentioned him, he thought he'd come out here and tell Jack Bruce face to face that he should have stayed retired. Frehley reminds everyone that he put Nicky Champion through a table last Saturday and he will have no problems with doing it to Jack Bruce tonight. Bruce tells Frehley that he has been led to believe that he is excellence in professional wrestling but that was a lie. He says that Jack Bruce is excellence. Bruce says he heard that there's some big premium live event at the end of the month. He challenges Frehley to a match at that big event. Frehley accepts and within moments the two of them start brawling. Frehley goes for the Dark Destroyer Spear but Jack Bruce leaps over him. Bruce turns Frehley around and strikes him with a knee to the gut and then hits the New York Trio, a trio of vertical suplexes. Bruce pops back up and waits for Frehley to start pulling himself up before hitting the New York Minute, a legdrop bulldog. Frehley is laid out and Jack Bruce celebrates in the ring. Bruce rolls out of the ring and celebrates with the crowd before the show comes to an end. We'll see you next week on American Wrestling! =100

  18. Hey Dawn and StanMiguel, Thanks for the comments. The move to two hours of Saturday Night is a risk workload-wise but I think I can handle it, especially with the roster brand split. Glad you're both enjoying things, though. And I plan on making Saturday Night into a second A show. In fact, I will leave it up to the fans here to decide which is the A show at the end of each month.

  21. Monday Week 3 October 1995 WCW Monday Nitro Location: Dahlberg Arena (North West) Attendance: 6,937 Overall Rating: 84 TV Rating: 2.03 Return Of A WCW Legend WCW Monday Nitro kicks off in the Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, Montana! It is in the University of Montana. Before we dive into the incredible matches we have planned, we have the arrival of the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels! The crowd boos as Michaels makes his way to the ring. He poses once inside with his arms flexed. He gets on the microphone and says he cannot believe they dragged The Showstopper all the way out here to this...scenic place. He asks what the capital of Montana is and the answer is nobody cares. He says that they have a population here smaller than the amount of people who appreciate the greatness of the Main Event. Now, there's some people talking about the history of WCW. What a joke that is. Michaels says there's no one in the history of WCW that can come close to even lacing his boots. He says that WCW is just a sad attempt to compete with that company up north. As the crowd lays into Michaels with boos, an old familiar music begins to play. Out from the back comes a WCW legend in Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat! Steamboat walks down to the ring and steps inside, looking across from The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. Steamboat tells Michaels that he can stop right there because there is someone right here who can do more than lace up Michaels' boots. He asks Michaels if he wants a trip down memory lane. Michaels laughs and says that Steamboat is a washed-up has-been that hasn't even been cleared to wrestle. Steamboat smiles and says he's actually been cleared to wrestle tonight. He challenges Michaels to face him in the ring right now. Michaels says that Steamboat might have a few tricks up his sleeve but he's not The Showstopper. Michaels accepts the challenge and we get referee James Beard down to the ring for this opening encounter. Match #1 Shawn Michaels vs. Ricky Steamboat The bell rings with the crowd on their feet and anticipating an awesome match between these two legends of the ring. The match begins with some back and forth technical wrestling between the two, leading into several arm drags and hip tosses by Ricky Steamboat. Shawn Michaels, though, turns the tide with his agility and ring awareness. The two trade high impact moves, including Michaels hitting the top rope elbow drop. Michaels makes the cover: One...Two...Kickout! The crowd gets fired up with the kickout by Steamboat! We are told during the match that Roddy Piper is not in the building this week. As the match continues, Steamboat gets his second wind, hitting Michaels with several chops, finally knocking Michaels to the mat. Steamboat heads for the top turnbuckle and leaps, catching Michaels with the Flying Cross Body! Steamboat hooks the near leg: One...Two...The far leg reaches the ropes to break up the three count. The final few minutes of the match are back and forth between the two before Michaels catches Steamboat with a quick roll-up. Michaels places his feet on the middle rope: One...Two...Three! Shawn Michaels wins at 13:45! Shawn Michaels p. Ricky Steamboat =74 Blade Runners To The Rescue The match is over but Shawn Michaels isn't finished. Michaels stomps on the fallen body of Ricky Steamboat. The Dragon tries to cover up but Michaels drops down and begins throwing punches to Steamboat! The crowd boos but those boos turn to cheers when Sting and Warrior come rushing out from the back. Sting slides in the ring first and Michaels goes for the Sweet Chin Music but Sting blocks it, grabbing the foot of Michaels. He twists Michaels around and right into a clothesline from Warrior! Seeing the odds changed against him, Michaels rolls out of the ring and exits, backing up the aisle. Sting checks on Steamboat as Warrior stares down The Heartbreak Kid. We will see these three in tag team action at Halloween Havoc! Whatcha Gonna Do? We go to the top of the ramp where Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by. Okerlund says that if you thought tonight's action was explosive, you should tune in to the WCW Hotline! Okerlund says that he has information on new signings for WCW and something that will change the future of professional wrestling. But you have to dial the hotline to get the scoop. Without further ado, it's time to bring out the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan and his manager The Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart! Hogan and Hart come out to a mix of cheers and a few boos from the part of the audience who is getting tired of the red and yellow. Okerlund welcomes Hogan and Hogan begins with his usual line of 'Well, let me tell you something, brother!' He says that the WCW World Heavyweight title is where the power lies and that power lies right with the power of Hulkamania, brother. He says he's not letting go of the gold any time soon, no matter who wins the tournament to determine his next challenger, dudes. He says that, when you're the champion, the challenges come from all different directions and speaking of challenges. Out from the back come Ric Flair and Brian Pillman. Two members of the Horsemen walk right up to Hulk Hogan. Flair and Hogan go face to face for a moment before Flair takes the microphone and says that Hogan might be champion now but he won't be for long. Flair says that he is the man who defines championship material. So, at World War 3, Hogan will be defending the title against The Nature Boy or The Loose Cannon. Pillman speaks up, saying that no matter which Horsemen wins this tournament one of them is taking the gold. Pillman says that, in the end, the Horsemen will reign supreme. Flair and Pillman turn and walk up the aisle. Hogan speaks to their backs, saying that if they think they can take the title from him they're in for a rude awakening, brother. He says that Hulkamania doesn't back down from any challenge and asks them whatcha gonna do when the power of Hulkamania runs wild over you?!?! Hogan flexes and then walks to the back. Match #2 WCW World Heavyweight Title Number One Contender's Tournament, Semifinals Ric Flair (w/Brian Pillman) vs. Mike Rotunda Our first hour main event is here already as 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair takes on 'Iron' Mike Rotunda. One of these two men will move on to the tournament finals to face either Randy Savage or Brian Pillman, who will wrestle in tonight's main event. The match begins with a display of technical prowess from both competitors. They trade each other hold for hold in the beginning, with Rotunda showing why he is the head of the Varsity Club. The wily Nature Boy, though, has Brian Pillman in his corner and that plays to his advantage as Pillman distracts Rotunda, leading to Flair knocking Rotunda into the steel steps at ringside knee first. Flair brings the action back in the ring and begins his usual attack of the knee, including placing it over the bottom rope and hitting a seated senton on the leg. Flair struts across the ring and releases a 'Whoo' that has the crowd booing in return. Rotunda gets a couple of moves in but a chop block to the knee stops any momentum that Rotunda seems to get. Flair finally manages to lock in the Figure Four. Rotunda struggles in the hold and Pillman distracts the official. With the official distracted, Flair grabs the ropes and uses it to add extra leverage to the hold. Flair releases the ropes and Rotunda is forced to submit. Ric Flair advances at 19:41! Ric Flair d. Mike Rotunda =75 Varsity Club Save Brian Pillman enters the ring as soon as the bell sounds and begins putting the boots to Mike Rotunda. Ric Flair releases the Figure Four and here comes Arn Anderson! The three members of the Four Horsemen assault the fallen Mike Rotunda. Suddenly, the music for the Varsity Club hits and here come the Miracle Violence Connection! Steve Williams and Terry Gordy hit the ring! Brian Pillman charges and Gordy sends Pillman over the top rope with a back body drop! Dr. Death hits a double clothesline on Flair and Anderson! Williams and Gordy dump Flair and Anderson over the top rope to the floor to join Pillman. Williams helps Rotunda to his feet and the Varsity Club stare down at the Horsemen to end the first hour. Painful Argument The second hour begins with the WCW World Tag Team Champions! Barry Windham and Lex Luger are having an argument over what happened last week. Luger says he should have been in the match against Mike Rotunda tonight. Windham says what happened was an accident that happened in the heat of the moment. Luger reminds Windham that Windham already betrayed him once before to join the Horsemen. Windham calls that a low blow. Luger reminds Windham that they hold the WCW World Tag Team titles and they need to be on the same page. Before they can reconcile, they are each attacked from behind by the team of The Barbarian and The Warlord! The Powers of Pain launch a brutal attack on the unsuspecting Tag Team Champions! The Barbarian and The Warlord land devastating blows to both Windham and Luger, keeping them both down. They stand over the champions for a moment before walking away. The deep laughter of The Barbarian and The Warlord can be heard as they walk away. Windham and Luger try to recover. We go to the ring. Match #3 Non-Title Match The Giant (w/The Taskmaster) vs. Chris Kanyon Our next match is the very definition of a squash match as Chris Kanyon takes on The Giant. The Giant dominates the match for slightly over two minutes. He uses a bear hug that almost draws a submission from Kanyon. The WCW United States Champion releases the hold and throws Kanyon across the ring like a rag doll. The Taskmaster watches at ringside with a sinister grin. Within the blink of an eye, The Giant grabs Kanyon by the throat and lifts him high in the air before bringing him down hard with the Choke Slam! The Giant places a foot on Kanyon's chest and the referee counts: One...Two...Three! The Giant wins at 2:03! The Giant p. Chris Kanyon =56 Bought And Paid For It's time to go backstage again. This time, we're back in catering where Diamond Doll is selecting something to eat. She gets approached yet again by Eddy Guerrero! Guerrero smiles and tells her that diamonds are a girl's best friend but a charming man like him might give them a run for their money. Doll blushes and tells Guerrero that he's always full of compliments. Before Guerrero can continue the compliments, though, he is attacked from behind by Big Bubba Rogers! Rogers slams Guerrero on the catering table and then brings him down to the hard floor with a body slam. Rogers says that this isn't personal. It's just business. Rogers yanks Guerrero up by the hair and then brings him back down with a Big Bubba Slam! Doll screams and Rogers warns the two of them to stay away from each other because he's being paid by Diamond Dallas Page. Doll stands there, looking shocked as Rogers walks away. Guerrero is left down on the ground and his pursuit of romance is stopped by some harsh realities. Match #4 Christian Cage and Sexton Hardcastle vs. Steiner Brothers Our next match is the penultimate contest on tonight's Nitro as Christian Cage and Sexton Hardcastle step in the ring against Steiner Brothers. Steiners gain a quick and early advantage on Cage and Hardcastle. Both Cage and Hardcastle are thrown with overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. They both head to ringside as Rick Steiner runs around the ring barking before dropping to all fours. Scott Steiner stands over his brother in the typical Steiner pose. Cage comes in and tries to speed things up on Rick Steiner. He uses quick tags with Hardcastle to keep a fresh man in the ring as the crowd gets behind Steiner Brothers. Rick gets a couple of swings of momentum but is unable to tag in the fresh Scott until the ten minute mark. Scott rushes in when he gets the hot tag and tosses Cage with another overhead belly-to-belly suplex and then hits a double underhook backbreaker on Hardcastle! Hardcastle is sent out of the ring and the Steiner Brothers turn their attention to Cage. Rick gets a rear waistlock and Scott hits a Steinerline, sending Cage over with a release German Suplex by Rick Steiner! Rick moves back to the corner and makes a motion. He tags himself in as Scott lifts Cage on his shoulders in an electric chair position! Rick climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits the Steiner Bulldog! Rick makes the cover on Cage: One...Two....Three! Steiner Brothers pick up the win at 16:29! Steiner Brothers p. Christian Cage and Sexton Hardcastle =66 Coming Next Week Match #5 WCW World Heavyweight Title Number One Contender's Tournament, Semifinals Brian Pillman vs. Randy Savage It is main event time and this week it's a battle to see who will face Ric Flair at Halloween Havoc to determine the new number one contender to the WCW World Heavyweight title. The anticipation in the arena is palpable! This time, Flyin' Brian Pillman comes out by himself to take on the Macho Man Randy Savage. The opening few minutes is a contrast of styles as Brian Pillman's high flying ability is in stark contrast to Savage's brawling ability. Pillman manages to knock Savage outside the ring and then bounces off the ropes, hitting a perfectly timed suicide dive, leaving the crowd in awe. Pillman brings the action back in the ring and shows off his technical chops as he focuses on Randy Savage's right arm. Eric Bischoff reminds fans that if Savage's right arm is taken out he cannot hit the Flying Elbow Drop. The pace in the ring quickens with Pillman in control. He keeps the fans on the edge of their seat and around the sixteen minute mark he heads out to the apron. He waits for Savage to get on his feet and then leaps onto the top rope -- Air Pillman! Pillman connects with the Air Pillman finisher! Savage rolls toward the ropes but Pillman grabs him and makes the cover: One...Two...Foot on the bottom rope! Referee Charles Robinson sees the foot and stops the count. Brian Pillman gets aggravated at this point in time, not able to quite pin Randy Savage with the Air Pillman. Pillman stomps on Savage and then heads to the apron again. He waits for Savage to get to his feet and then leaps for a second Air Pillman but Savage reverses it with a dropkick! Savage takes control, favoring his hurting right arm. The final moments of the match occur with both men digging in deep. Pillman takes control for a moment and Savage counters him with a well-timed clothesline and then a thunderous DDT! Savage heads to the top turnbuckle, barely able to raise his arms. Savage leaps and connects with the Flying Elbow Drop! Savage grabs his arm, wincing in pain but he crawls over and makes the cover: One...Two...Three! Randy Savage picks up the win at 22:01! Randy Savage p. Brian Pillman =85 Return Of A Woman The Macho Man Randy Savage has picked up the win and will go on to face Ric Flair at Halloween Havoc! The crowd erupts with cheers as Savage celebrates in the ring, barely able to raise that right arm. The stage is set for a blockbuster match between him and Ric Flair at Halloween Havoc. Savage takes a microphone with his left hand and says 'Ohhh yeah, that's how you do it!' Savage says that there's no one that can stop the madness as it runs over the crowd here in Montana. Savage is interrupted by the arrival of the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan! Hogan walks out to the ring without Jimmy Hart and looks across at Savage for the second week in a row. Hogan extends a hand to Savage and shakes hands with the Macho Man. Hogan congratulates Savage on the win and says that he came up with a little good luck charm for the Macho Man. Savage looks interested, asking exactly what that could be. Hogan makes a motion toward the back and Pomp And Circumstances begins to play. Out from the back comes the elegant Miss Elizabeth! Elizabeth walks toward the ring with all the grace in the world. Elizabeth climbs onto the apron and Savage walks over, holding the ropes open for her. She steps in the ring and Savage could not look happier. He gets on the microphone and says 'Ohhhh yeah, my good luck charm! The Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth back together again!' Savage and Elizabeth embrace with a smile on both their lips. Hogan smiles, too, nodding and exiting the ring, leaving the spotlight to both Savage and Elizabeth. Savage shows some resilience as he picks up Elizabeth on his shoulder. It's an iconic image that defined a generation. Savage lowers Elizabeth and the two of them stand together as the show comes to an end. Savage and Elizabeth celebrate their reunion and Eric Bischoff says we'll see you this Saturday on WCW Saturday Night!
  22. Hey Henderson, It's always great to see you predicting and commenting. The whole better thing was mostly because of how much detail you put into your diaries versus my more streamlined approach. I wish I had the ability to put in the details you do on each show but I've been there and gotten burned out because of it. So, I've found one that seems to work for me and, really, that's what's most important. And I definitely have a diverse roster and it's only getting bigger. But there's a reason for that. It will be made known soon enough. And just FYI, Valentine is not in the Horsemen. When the Horsemen were made, Flair told Valentine that he couldn't trust him because Valentine turned on him immediately. We're still looking for that fourth Horsemen. But I'm really glad you're enjoying the diary on a whole. I wouldn't be able to do this without the support of people like you. And you're right we are in a middle ground between JCP era wrestlers and modern WCW wrestlers. Will that play in to the future? Maybe. Just make sure you stay tuned in to TNT and TBS.

  24. Hey newbiezness, The Frehley/Champion match did have such a low rating because of the tables stipulation. Champion was, also, really off his game in this match. So, neither of those two helped. Glad you enjoyed the main event, especially the beginning. Wolf nearly took the title by tricking Money into thinking he would take the money. Hope you like the new picture for him, too. I saw King Bison make that one and I couldn't resist using that for him. As far as Jack Bruce goes, he never left USPW. He was never a part of this company. He worked for NYCW, TCW and SWF. So, it's a bit of a betrayal to SWF for him to show up in USPW, especially since he worked for SWF for 15 years before retiring,. Hey wyldekr, I am glad that the Jack Bruce debut popped you. I did a lot of thinking about the CM Punk return at Survivor Series last year. I modeled it after that. I've always thought of Jack Bruce as being like Chris Jericho in real life. That's the real reason for my choosing Judas as his USPW entrance music.
  25. Really looking forward to seeing Hammerstone on the roster here. I saw a young Hammerstone wrestling in the PNW years back when they tried to reopen it. I could see Heyman hiring Shelton Benjamin.
