After five minutes of furious offence Barenhaft looks to seal the deal but the champions are wise to his Bear Charge finish; everytime Barenhaft looks set to finish the match with it Asesino or Xtinction dodge or dive out of the way. Barenhaft starts to tire but as he looks to his corner Voodude orders him to continue. The champions start to get more confident but make a big mistake as they collide after a misjudged double cross body. The bout finally begins with El Mitico arrogantly trying to mat wrestle Hossam. This does not go well and the Egyptian soon has the Mexican on the retreat. El Mitico turns to high flying next but Hossam is always ready with a counter and a submission hold. </p><p> </p><p> El Mitico shows some impressive agilty and stamina as he works his way out of Hossam's submission holds with a variety of flips and twists but Hossam is relentless and after hitting a slingblade, the Intercontinental champion follows with a neckbreaker and a back breaker before making El Mitico tap out with the Camel Clutch. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Your Winner: Wael Hossam</strong></p><p> </p><p> Hossam looks impressed with El Mitico's efforts and offers a handshake but the cocky Mexican pushes him away, collects his expensive looking robe and leaves. In the wild brawl that ensues Samoan Machine is powerbombed on the apron then immediately whipped into the barriers taking him out of the match (and legitimally herniating a disk).</p><p> </p><p> Digger and Owusu roll an exhausted looking Kanishocki into the ring. Owusu hammers him with a running lariat and Digger lifts him up for his RIP piledriver. I beat you in the Mighty Cup final, I have nothing to prove."</p><p> </p><p> "Nothing to Prove? You have everything to prove. I saw your hand about to tap in that final. I had you beaten before Owusu intervened and next time we're in the ring I'll have Beskov and Illakov to make sure that no one saves you. Forget the Heavyweight Title, it means nothing with you holding it anyway. You got your arm raised in the Mighty Cup, you are due an Intercontinental title shot, let's go! Tonight? Next Week? at No Escape?" Double K turns away from Hossam, strokes his chin and starts to walk the aisle to the back. </p><p> </p><p> "I'm not interested in your poxy title, find another opponent. Next comes Champagne Lover, oozing charisma and making friends with the people at ringside. As the bell rings both men are all business; Gamberro is determined to back up his big talk and Champagne Lover is desperate not to lose the FEW title to this arrogant Englishman. </p><p> </p><p> The match starts off with some very accomplished wrestling. Lover is trying to speed up the match in order to showcase his Lucha Libre and Gamberro is looking to keep the match on the mat to work over Lover's neck and shoulders. Gamberro takes the advantage when he counters a hurricanrana with a Boston Crab and transitions into an STF, Lover looks set to tap out but instead he manages to crawl over to the ropes and Gamberro breaks the hold. Lover is a born entertainer and as he comes back into the match he starts to showboat and taunt the challenger. He hits successive german suplexes and starts dancing, really getting the crowd behind him. </p><p> </p><p> Lover's showing off goes to far when he turns his back on Gamberro to go for a flashy standing moonsault; Gamberro gets his knees up and hits a DDT followed by a brainbuster for a near fall. Let's get straight to it; a lot of people are confused about your actions during the Mighty Cup Final. You turned against the Coalition before your semi final with Karl, Roberts then screwed you out of a place in the final but you then attacked Hossam in the final, not Karl. What is going on?</p><p> Owusu: I needed Karl to win and I knew that the referee would not disqualify Karl in such a big match. My teammate was is trouble and I knew I could help him.</p><p> Horwood: Your teammate? Why are you still part of the Coalition, don't you see how they treat you? Don't you want to do something about their cheating and their arrogance?</p><p> Owusu: Why?</p><p> Horwood: Don't you have pride? What about your morals?</p><p> Owusu: Listen to me. I took on Karl because I thought I could beat him. I thought that I could win the 50k. I couldn't, Karl and Roberts were too clever. Now, what is the best thing for Kalu Owusu? Teaming with Hossam to take on the strongest group in MWG? No! I need to be successful, I need money coming in. I have a young family, I have brothers and cousins who are trying to break into this industry. I can help them with the money the Kozlowski's give me. Hossam, as expected is a lot more respectful and gets a good reaction. The announcers tell us that this is a huge opportunity for Adonis, a real chance to make his name. </p><p> </p><p> Adonis knows he can't outwrestle Hossam so he tries to brawl instead. Adonis leaves the ring often and tosses Hossam into the barriers, the ring steps and the ring posts. Hossam soaks up the punishment however and makes short work of Adonis when he finally gets him in the squared circle. As Adonis throws big punches at Hossam, the Egyptian ducks and dodges and catches an arm transitioning into an armbar. Adonis desperately tries to get to the ropes but instead finds the strength to break the hold. Quick as a flash Hossam is on his feet and he stamps on Adonis's back before wrenching him back into the Camel Clutch. Four men remain in the tournament but only one can take home fifty thousand euros and without further ado here we go Hossam v Barenhaft in the first semi final!</p><p> </p><p> After they make their entrances Hossam and Barenhaft stare each other down in the ring. Hossam has one eye on Voodude who is lurking at ringside. The match starts with a brawl, Hossam looks to slow down the pace and put some holds on Barenhaft but the bearlike monster powers out of all attempts to do so until Hossam manages to hit a cross body and transition into an armbar. Voodude gets on the apron with his spiked knuckles in hand, ready to use them on the intercontinental champion but Hossam whips Barenhaft into Voodude and he falls off the apron into the barriers. As Barenhaft stumbles back into the middle of the ring Hossam shows great strength to lift Barenhaft up for the brain buster he calls the Cairo Crippler. A gasp goes around the arena as Barenhaft comes crashing down on his neck. You got me but seriously it's time to let me pin you now." Owusu doesn't move and now 2000 people are chanting for them to fight. Kozlowski is angry and gets right up in Owuwu's face. Kozlowski is taken aback but keeps his cool and carries on the assault with slams and a devastating looking Fisherman's buster. Owusu comes back and starts to wear Double K down with gut punches and slams. Owusu lifts Karl up to his feet and takes him down with a running lariat as Phillip Roberts steps in to the ring. Owusu hits a second lariat on the striken Kozlowski but Roberts has convinced the referee to stop the match temporarily. </p><p> </p><p> Roberts leads a doctor to the ring who says that Owusu is not fit to continue because of his cut. The referee accepts this account and declares Kozlowski the winner by stoppage! Nation pose with their fallen opponents at their feet but suddenly Xtinction and Asesino Del Hacha attack them from behind! The Mexicans are fighting back! Asesino and Xtinction hit huricarana's on Gamberro and Adonis simultaneously and leave.</p><p> </p><p> Arias and Koller go after the tag champions with renewed vigour and the wild brawl continues around ringside until Arias lands a Tope Con Hilo which wipes out Gamberro. Owusu remains silent. Hossam comes to the ring focussed on the task ahead. The referee makes the introductions, the crowd are red hot, it's time for the first ever Mighty Cup Final!</p><p> </p><p> Kozlowski is a 6'10" 320lbs brawler, Hossam is smaller but is a master of technical wrestling, this is the ultimate clash of styles. Both men try to fight their fight in the early stages; Kozlowski looks to get in close and damage Hossam with heavy punches and slams whilst Hossam is constantly moving around Double K trying to take him down and lock on submissions. Hossam is more successful early on but Kozlowski is strong enough to power out. Hossam focuses on Kozlowski's arms using a combination of wrist locks, hammerlocks and arm bars to try and take away Double K's power moves. </p><p> </p><p> Kozlowski starts to shake off the effects of Hossam's arm attacks and hits his opponent with a series of forearms and a spinebuster. As he lifts Hossam up for the Stock Market Crash Hossam slips out, lands a drop kick to the knees and slaps on the Camel Clutch! Kozlowski raises his hand ready to tap when Owusu gets in the ring and hits Hossam with a chair! The referee calls for the bell, Kozlowski rages as Hossam waits to be declared the winner and Owusu leaves, satisfied with the chaos he has caused.</p><p> </p><p> No announcement about the result is made immediately and Hossam starts asking what is happening. Dougie Horwood has an announcement to make:</p><p> "The MWG senior official has decided that this match is too important to end with a disqualification. The match will continue as a no DQ match." Kozlowski and Roberts start to make a pile of chairs in one corner of the ring as Hossam complains to the referee. Kozlowski gets in the ring and Hossam immediately slaps on the Cobra Clutch, Kozlowski is getting ready to tap again but this time Roberts hits Hossam with a chair. Hossam breaks the hold and Double K and Roberts start to smash Hossam with chair shots. The referee puts a stop to the use of chairs but it's too late for Hossam, Kozlowski lifts him up for the Stock Market Crash and covers him. 1.....2.....3! It's over and the fans are not happy that Kozlowski has won it this way. Enamoto follows and the first noticable thing is the size difference; Kozlowski is about a foot and 150lbs bigger than his opponent. As expected this is a complete mis-match from start to finish. Double K takes his time, wearing Enamoto down with punches and slams. Enamoto is determined to disprove Double K's claim that he worked in Japan to avoid their Mighty Cup match. He makes a couple of energetic comebacks but can't do anything to hurt his massive opponent. "Kalu, my friend, we need get to get our plans in line. I know we had that unpleasantness in a couple of months back and you seem a bit distant lately but we are a good team and it's time we did right by the Coalition." Kalu stands there, implacable. "Let's face facts. Beskov and Koller are good but we're better. The chances are good that we will face each other in the Mighty Cup semi finals. We need to have a plan for this. The semis and the final are both on the same show, do you really want to beat the shit out of each other an hour before facing Hossam?" Kalu nods which gets a pop from the crowd.</p><p> "I'm looking forward to it." Owusu adds.</p><p> "Come on! Really? We have the chance to put a fresh coalition member up against a tired Hossam." Kalu just smiles back at him. "Alright, do whatever you want. I can do this with or without you but if you do decide to help here's my offer; 25% of the Mighty Cup winnings. That's twelve and a half thousand euros for lying down in the semi and being in my corner for the final." Kalu shakes his head.</p><p> "Sometimes in life you have to bet on yourself. Champagne Lover gets a good pop, the MWG fans are warming to him very quickly. The announcers note that this is the first match between these two and they are very well matched physically. </p><p> Lover starts off by entertaining the crowd, gyrating his hips and posing. This behaviour annoys El Mitico so he slaps Lover in the face. Lover responds with hard chops and they go back and forth with strikes. The match is a very good Mexican style bout with lots of high flying and acrobatic moves, these two seem intent on stealing the show. Lover won this title with his bow and arrow lock called Champagne Breakfast and retained it with his jumping cutter called the Lover Stunner. In this match he struggles to hit either despite being on top for most of the time, El Mitico seems to have him well scouted. The same can be said for Lover however, Mitico uses a variety of suplexes to finish matches and everytime Mitico gets anything close to a waistlock Lover has a counter. The finish comes as Lover counters a waistlock into a leg lock and then transitions into the Champagne Breakfast. El Gamberro picks up the FEW title and takes a good long look before throwing it down on the champion. Smith notes that Kalu has been on winning teams against the Red Devils on three occasions this year but Owusu is yet to pin Beskov. </p><p> They start slow with precise strikes targeting strategic areas; Beskov is targetting Owusu's right arm to try and curb his powerful lariat and Owusu is headhunting to try and scramble Beskov's brain and force him into bad decisions. Beskov transitions into his usual puro-inspired grappling style. Beskov has a good period where he retains wrist control over Owusu for a few minutes, using arm drags, kicks and knees to wear down Owusu's right arm. Owusu regains the momentum when Beskov goes up to the top rope to try and walk the ropes whilst still holding the wrist. Owusu pulls him down, catches him and hits a beautiful side suplex followed by a running lariat. Owusu tries to hit a second lariat but the first one hurt too much and he rubs his right arm to try and get the feeling back. Beskov slips behind him and hits a dragon suplex and a elbow drop before locking in an armbar! Owusu is screaming in pain, he looks set to tap before a disturbance in the crowd distracts Beskov. It's Double K walking through the crowd holding a chair! Beskov holds on to Owusu's arm but has loosened the grip enough that Kalu can wriggle out and reach the ropes. Double K climbs on the apron to remonstrate with Owusu, the referee turns around to tell him to leave and Owusu kicks Beskov right in the groin! Beskov doubles over and is sent to the canvas by a left armed running lariat right to the top of the head! Owusu waits for him to get up and hits a second, and a third and a fourth and final lefty latiat. He collapses on Beskov and looks relieved as the referee counts three. Owusu soon jumps to his feet as Double K enters the ring still holding the chair. The crowd are waiting for these to to go at it but instead Kozlowski winks at Owusu and leaves. </p><p> Horwood signing off: "Owusu is through to the semi final but will he face his teammate or Sebastian Koller? I'm talking about Cassius Clay defeating Sonny Liston, I'm talking Roger Federer winning his first Wimbledon, I'm talking Lionel Messi turning up and instantly being the best player in the world." Gamberro pauses and gets intense. "Tonight is my night to prove my genius. When I defeat Wael Hossam and smash his face in with this bottle then my name will be on everyone's lips and El Gamberro will Live Forever." Gamberro was staring at the camera so intensely that he didn't see Hossam sneak into the ring behind him. Hossam gets Gamberro into a Full Nelson and hits a beautiful dragon suplex. Gamberro is laid out and Hossam takes the mic.</p><p> </p><p> "You want to make your name against me? By all means try but I didn't get this (indicating his Intercontinental title) by being a stepping stone." The match turns into a war of attrition as they both stand in the ring trading blows. Beskov hits the ropes and charges at Machine as fast as possible but the Samoan just takes the impact and doesn't budge. He's still swigging from a bottle of beer but now he is fully focused on the task ahead. Hossam makes his entrance, the bell rings and the two men lock up for the first time. </p><p> </p><p> The match starts with some high quality chain wrestling, Hossam gains the advantage and ends up with Gamberro in a hammerlock. Gamberro gets to the ropes and Hossam breaks the hold. They chain wrestle again and this time Gamberro comes out on top and almost gets Hossam into an armbar. Hossam scrambles to the ropes but instead of breaking clean Gamberro slaps Hossam in the face. They go back and forth for a few minutes, neither man able to hook on a decisive hold. </p><p> </p><p> Gamberro resorts to striking He blitzes the Intercontinental Champion with European uppercut and chops. Hossam responds with a series of belly to belly suplexes as the pace quickens. Gamberro is looking to stun his opponent with rapid fire combinations whilst Hossam counters and works Gamberro's back and neck with suplexes and elbows. Everything Hossam does is so smooth and precise and Gamberro starts to look like his back is giving him big problems. </p><p> </p><p> Gamberro takes control with a chop and punch combination followed by a scoop slam. He leaps over the rope onto the apron and indicates for Hossam to get up. The crowd are anticipating the Swing Low Sweet Lariat but Hossam counters with a drop kick to the knee and quickly switches to an excruciating looking armbar. Gamberro desperately rolls to the ropes and Hossam breaks the hold. In frustration and desperation Gamberro picks up his empty beer bottle and charges at Hossam, the Egyptian cooly sidesteps, delivers a drop kick to the back and slaps on the Cobra Clutch! The crowd are urging Gamberro to tap out and he very quickly does. Hossam advances to the Semi Finals. It's incredible isn't it. Full credit goes to King Bison for that one. I bought out FEW and pillaged the Mexican guys who debuted on the last show. God knows how long i'll get to keep him for. He only works in Mexico and now Europe so he only company that could sign him on a written is MPWF who are international level. There was more big news in September; we hit Regional and signed a TV deal so the next show will be the very first episode of the Mighty Wrestling Hour.

He reaches the ring and takes the mic from Vita.</p><p> "I am the Rock and Roller, Sebastian Koll..." Koller stops in his tracks as four debuting wrestlers enter the arena. One of them, a very good looking man in his mid thirties has a mic.</p><p> "Vita. I know who you are and I would like to know you better." He says in his Mexican accent. "I don't know who you are." He continues, Indicating Koller and Arias. "But, I think I can beat you up. Some of you know me, I can see, some do not....yet. For the uninformed I am the Hero of High Living, the Decedent Destroyer....Champaaaaaagne Lover." Beskov looks to make this a wild brawl as soon as possible but Voodude is playing games; rolling out of the ring and avoiding a fight. Beskov appeals to the referee but Voodude is not here to fight fair. After ten minutes of timewasting Lion Genji distracts the referee and Voodude pulls out the spiked knuckles he used to defeat Barenhaft. Voodude uses the knuckles on Beskov but the referee turns round in time to see and calls for the bell. </p><p> "He had no intention of winning this match." Notes Smith.</p><p> "He was looking for another victim." "We are in the main event for the first time tonight and this is how the company try and upstage us."</p><p> "This is unacceptable and we are not leaving until the Mexicans are sent packing and we get a full apology." Agrees Gamberro. "We don't know how these guys wrestle but I can't wait to find out."</p><p> Mitico claps to get the crowd going and starts off with a head scissors takedown followed by an attempted armbar. Koller wriggles out of the hold and attempts to grapple. Mitico is quick and agile and Koller can't hold him for long. The German switches tactics and starts to attack the legs of Mitico to slow him down. This works for a while and Mitico starts to attempt more desperate offense. The Mexican knocks Koller off the apron and goes for a Tope Con Hilo but misses! The crowd know who he is and they do not like him.</p><p> They start with a lock up and when they break Remus slaps Lover hard in the face. Lover smiles and slaps Remus back.</p><p> "There is absolutely no respect between these two." Notes Horwood. </p><p> Remus tries to grapple to take control but Lover outwrestles him, he tries to brawl but Lover is stronger and better at striking, he then tries to use high flying moves but Lover is quicker. Completely outmatched, Remus tries to leave. Lover convinces the referee to stop counting Remus out and goes after the cowardly champion. Lover hits a delayed vertical suplex on the ramp way which causes Remus to hold his back in agony. Lover throws Remus back into the ring and slaps on the Champagne Breakfast....Remus immediately taps! Hossam, you are a fraud and I'm going to prove it in the final of this tournament, if you get that far. Kalu Owusu, you need to know your place. You work for the Coalition, don't forget that or you will be out on your ear." Exclaims Smith as Ilakov makes his way to the ring. "Illakov, the Russian street fighter against the mammoth Ivorian, Kalu Owusu." </p><p> They stand toe to toe and we can see that Owusu has a significant size advantage.</p><p> "Illakov has his work cut out tonight." Says Horwood, stating the obvious. Suddenly all hell breaks loose as the competitors start trading heavy blows. Neither man is willing to back down but eventually Illakov drops to one knee. He is soon back up roaring in Owusu's face that he wants to go again. Owusu obliges and after another brutal exchange of blows Illkov is knocked down. Owusu drags him up and hits a big suplex in the middle of the ring. He covers but Illakov kicks out at two. Illakov starts working over Owusu's body with lefts, rights and kicks. He has the Ivorian staggered with a drop kick but when he tries to follow up with a suplex he cannot lift the bigger man. Illakov goes to work on the body again but then makes a big mistake as he Irish Whips Owusu to the ropes, Owusu counters with a devastatingly accurate running lariat and Illakov is rocked. Owusu hits another, and another and the fourth lariat sends Illakov crumpling down to the canvas. </p><p> "He collapsed like an accordion!" If we could afford licensed music they'd be coming out to Oasis but as things are it's some generic rock we found on the internet. Arias is out next followed by Hossam. Nation waste no time in attacking their opponents before the bell rings.</p><p> Once the referee manages to calm the situation down Adonis starts off in the ring with Arias. Nation make quick tags and manage to isolate Arias by attacking Hossam on the apron and choking and eye gouging Arias while the ref is distracted. Gamberro runs through a series of holds designed to wear Arias down and Adonis tags in to deliver some high impact offense. Ten minutes in and Hossam is yet to get into the match. Arias is fighting hard but is kicking out of covers later and later. Finally with his last reserves of energy he bodyslams Gamberro and hits a running bulldog DDT on Adonis. He crawls over to his corner and the crowd erupts as Hossam tags in. Hossam immediately puts Adonis in an armbar but 'Gods Gift' scrambles to the ropes to force the break. Gamberro eats a back fist and a slingblade but rolls out of the Camel Clutch. He tags in Adonis but he's exhausted and Hossam quickly ties him up into a painful looking figure four. Gamberro comes in to break the hold but gets put in the Camel Clutch! Hossam is close to his corner and he breaks the hold long enough to tag Arias.
