  1. Though I don't disagree completely with Cornette. I saw both shows as meh I have seen a lot better I have seen a lot worst. I got to ask when is the last time Cornette did anything good as a booker? The way he talks you would think he was the worlds greatest booker and I can't think of anything he has done that was good in like 20 years. When he was part of the creative for TNA it was just as bad as now. Any credit he would get for his time with WWF's creative has to be taken away the same way he takes away anything Rosso did at that time (in past interviews he talks about it). So in the last 20 years what has he done?

Not one of those who thinks you need to have done something to have a valid opinion (and admit his is valid). It just seems (more from past interviews) that he thinks he is a great booker.

  2. Also it has been confirmed there will be a Steel Asylum match for the X-Division championship, always an exciting match that and I think the first time on free tv.

Good choice at it will really give them a chance to showcase the X-Division which is one of the things that sets them apart and WWE doesn't have.

Would be a good first match for the hour they have before Raw.

  3. Yes nobody ever has lost their job to my knowledge. In fact I am pretty sure that Daniels was the only person to be "fired" twice.

However, if my spoiler is correct, I think that it would make sense that he would lose his job. Because really what has he done since he started with TNA?

So it would be a logical choice, which means odds are it doesn't happen.

  4. No one has actully ever been fired from the company during this match though right? I mean.......danials lost and came back as curry man.......curry man lost and came back as suicide/danials......who else has lost? There have only been like three of them right?

Yeah and each time someone was about to leave yet didn't get the fire case (though almost every site said they would). Hell Ki feuded with Daniels to get the briefcase at the time when he was leaving and they still choose to give it to Daniels.

  5. I'd suggest that this would kill the stipulation, but after the Daniels/Loki thing year 1 and the Daniels/Curry Man thing year 2, I'd be shocked if it isn't dead already.

It being a poll match kills it. Along with having to wait till Impact or multiple Impacts to find out who got what also kills it. You don't use PPV to make people watch the TV show (odds are if they pay for the PPV they already watch the show), you use the show to sell the PPV.

  6. What is the point of this Black Machismo Invitational? I think the guy has huge potential, I really enjoy his matches. So why have him squashed over and over by hasbeens? Where is this going?

I have no idea. I can only hope that it is intended to lead to the end of Black Machismo character. Sure I liked it at first, but it has went on way too long (the character not the Invitational).

  7. The minute that I read that both he and Drew McIntyre won major titles (well the IC is no longer major but you know what I mean) that was the first thing that came to my mind. From what I read, Sheamus is a workout buddy of HHH and Drew is HHH's personal project. So I was not shocked by the fact that either man won a title.

And did DX really have the main event tonight? I did not see the show, but in the recap that I read they had that match as the last one. If that was the case, I have to give a big ? to that. I mean just because HHH is going for the tag team title means that match should be the main event or two world title matches? Since when has the WWF treated their tag team titles as a main event belt (not since the 70's)? Now maybe I am clouded by my hate of HHH and HBK but the tag team title match should never be the Main Event over two world title matches. This isn't ROH after all, were the tag team titles actually mean something.

    Sorry about the rant.

It is understandable why DX vs Jerishow would be the Main Event.

I mean you have a Chairs match with Undertaker and Batista which I doubt would be too exciting.

Then you have Cena vs Sheamus a not so over worker.

Then you have a TLC match with 4 of your biggest stars that should be exciting.

So you have Star power on both sides and a match that should be exciting, which I would say makes the ideal Main Event.

  8. lol i just relized what i did switch hall and nash my bad ;).........austin when he was a good wrestler was never a draw.....he did not start making big money till the time after the neck injury..........He was a brawler and i guess that might be one reason why i looked at him as less talented. I always though anyone could be a "brawler"

I think that is why we would have very different opinions on someone like Austin after he got hurt. I find brawling to be very under rated especially the ones who do it with out hurting their opponent, which is why I don’t like a lot of people who work stiff (I mean anyone can make a hit look like it hurts when they actually punch you).

  9. In modern wrestling.......as far as the wwe goes......."wrestling talent" is low on the list of things to look for and i think it should be. Lets be honest......name a top draw in the last twenty years who had alot of wrestling talent........I can name maybe 10 MAYBE.......

Rock....as a wrestler he was not that good

    austin.........nope

    hogan........the five moves of death

    triple h.........see hogan

    hall..............next

nash.........when he wanted to be *sober* he was ok......but never a huge draw

I think i made my point.........For every angle or guerrero.......there is five austins and rocks......people don't pay to see people wrestle in the wwe any more. If so lance storm.........william regal......and guys like him would be top draws.

First I think you switched Hall and Nash. Second you don't think Austin was talented? Sure after Owen messed him up and as his knees got worst he wasn't as good as he once was, but he was a great wrestler talent wise.

  10. Daniels should be nowhere near the Main Event. He should be that guy you send out at to start the show with a fast pace x-division match with someone like Lethal to make the crowd hot. He lacks the personality or even the freak factor needed to be a Main Eventer. I just don’t see people paying for a PPV to see him in Title Match (or at least not as many that would for at least 10 others in TNA).
  11. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Wrestling Century" data-cite="Wrestling Century" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25170" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Excuse me, but that's a little disrespectful. How did we get "robbed" of Joe vs Fatu? That's kind of rude IMO, especially since Eddie Fatu just passed away! <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That is what he is talking about. He is saying he wanted to see Joe vs Fatu but due to his death he never will. He used the term robbed due to his early death. Nothing disrespectful about what he said at all.</p>
  12. You know of all the matches announced so far I am really looking forward to Christian vs. Shelton. If given time I see it stealing the show. Though that may have something to do with me being high on Shelton starting with his Team Angle days. I see him as someone one match away from making it over the hump. All the WWE had to do to make the fans love him was 1 on 1 Ladder match with Jeff Hardy too bad that will never happen now.
  13. Just want to say that the town lost that game because some of the players believed ridiculous role claims. That game really is a sore spot for me as I felt i had the game wrapped up but couldn't get people behind me. TNA in Real World Chaos as Best Mafia

To be fair once The Shockmaster was in the game logic went to hell.

  14. Not to cause a big fight here or anything but if this is the game that we played that had me as Easy E and the nWo, I can not see anyone justifying a nomination for Moe(nothing personal b/c since this game everything was good). This was the game that as soon as the nWo recuited Moe's real life buddy(whom ever was Samoa Joe) I think it was Whitey or w/e but as soon as we recruited him and I contacted him to work out some details Moe started outing me to the town as the Mafia Boss. I agree Moe is a good player but this game with the things that had happened makes me think that this shouldn't be aloud for a vote. If for some reason it does I would like to point out right now there should be an * next to it. Sorry for that rant.

Also the town lost that game. That should be an almost automatic that no town member that game should win for that game.

  15. SadisticBlessings did so much for mafia here he needs a reward named after him. The SadisticBlessings something or other, maybe a best mod reward or most influential/important contributor (you know someone who changed how the game was played or something really big).
  16. Best Individual Performance - Mason/Cult Wallbanger WWE Mafia. He was known or at least should have been known to be recruted almost right away, yet some how goes on to not only live but be part of the first non town win.

Oh and SadisticBlessings has to be in the HoF.

Also could someone post a link to all the mafia games that have been played?
