I could be mistaken, but I think the Experience stat is for matches wrestled. In other words, an in-ring stat. The more matches wrestled, the higher the experience stat, & the less matches wrestled, the lower the stat. Alfred Hayes for sure should have experience as he was a wrestler at one point if I remember correctly. Jimmy Hart was a manager but would work the rare match when needed. The others I believe only managed &/or did announcing duties, so they wouldn't need the experience stat.

Experience is specifically for matches wrestled. Non wrestlers like Schiavone who have no matches under their belt shouldn’t have it.

The last one I remember was from TEW 2013 - that's right, a whole decade ago. That wasn't even a full mod either; only North American companies and wrestlers who have worked in the Americas were featured. Many moons ago, I had an idea in my head for an alternate history mod starting in the year 2000 based on the old "Mod Squad" scenarios. The premise would have been that the Curtain Call right before Nash & Hall left for WCW never happened, and this caused all sorts of wide-ranging changes in the wrestling world. People jumping from certain companies when they didn't in real life, different people in charge, the whole deal. Modding is really intensive though, and it's an unbearable slog for one person to do on their own.

The big problem, from what I’ve heard is that no one has been able to, or outright hasn’t asked to get permission to use any of the old mod squad mods as a base. The one that was floating around the forums apparently used them without permission which is why it isn’t allowed to be linked. So creating a 2000 mod would need to be done from scratch essentially, which is a really intensive process

  3. Took a break from the last few promotions, and finished up cutting pics of the in game title belts, updating the rest of their histories and setting champions, then finished off going through the tag teams so that their starting years and experience are all set (experience is set by counting their matches on cagematch) so everything should work to scale now.

Ive also made a lot of progress on tackling the free agents (checking over profiles for errors, setting active areas, body types, home regions, etc), adding work history for each, and adjusting stats. Free workers based in Oceania, Europe, British Isles, and Canada are finished and I’m about half way through the US scene.

I must admit every other day I do check to see if there’s any updates.

is there an ETA on when this data will be released?

As you can see looking over the history of this thread, it’s difficult for me to give any sort of ETA on having this completed as my schedule and motivation tends to drastically change. I’ve made progress about 5 days a week with some serious hours invested into this over the last month. I’m hoping to have something stable released soon.

Interesting data, can be edited to tailor the needs of the end user ect. May I ask, I see these rounded stats in mods very frequently now. Whether it be pop or skills - all seem to be 0s or 5s.

Is there method in the madness? Is there something I am missing - care someone explain?

I mean, it’s easier to think of stats rounded. If you prefer the 1-2 point differences you can turn on variance and get it

Wow I love it! The dedication and effort you put into this data is plausible.

Question for you- how much work have you or will you put into broadcasters? Will they reflect real life tv ratings/buy rates?

I notice some data’ makers reflect this element and you end up having TNA do 3 million buy rates, making them super rich. Or CMLL ending up on a prime time slot on one of Americas biggest networks

I don’t go by real life buy rates or ratings, I try and let it work how the game plays. Same with show attendance. It’s far less important to me to see that the show attendance reflects whatever TNA was doing in real life, than if they are set up in the game to be able to make the kind of roster signings that they did.

I’ve done a lot of work on broadcasters in the game. Here is a post I made about it way back in the thread:

Getting away from the promotion roster building work a little bit, I spent the past three days and a ton of hours totally redoing the broadcasters, media groups and broadcasting deals in the game world.

I completely deleted all of the broadcasters from the base data and with the help of imports from Questlove's RWC, some of gazwefc's mods, and my own tedious work I have rebuilt everything - Giving proper debut dates (the ones I could find), focus, media group ownership, regional limits, limits on the number of companies and time slots available for each, etc. This has solved the problem that plagued the Ruthless Aggression data where it seemed like it was a complete free for all with promotions getting weird deals all over the game world that they shouldn't have.

All broadcast deals are now in line with how the game works. For instance, when a company like WWE in real life can have multiple deals with companies and providers in the same region, the game will not always allow you to do that. So I deleted all of the base broadcast deals, started a game as each promotion with tv or PPV and negotiated with each network to get the base for their deals. This way, all deals will be in line with the game engine and when they come due - you won't get surprised by not being able to re-sign or find another provider, or be screwed over by a station demanding exclusivity when you don't expect it.

In the case of a company like WWE where they had multiple deals with companies in the same regions or game areas, I have went with the one that is most beneficial in game. For instance if they have a PPV deal with a company that only has small coverage, and one with massive coverage, I went with the largest (obviously).

In the case of Japanese promotions where they had multiple tour highlight shows across different networks, I've done the same thing. If a larger provider demanded exclusivity in game while I was researching, that promotion got one tour highlight show with the biggest network instead of trying to game the system and editing in the multiple deals.

I've also redone some 72 logos and combined them with the network logo pack gazwefc created for his Pipebomb mod. All networks have been gone through and, where I could, I made sure their logo reflected the one being used during the time period the mod is set.

I got back into this game recently and wanted a fresh skin. Idolized, I love this skin too and am enjoying it so thanks for making this! It's easier on my eyes too when looking at screens all day at my day job.

However, I feel the same above from lavelleuk and Jason Phoenix to the empty cells in creative, stables, etc.

I have searched through the files in the picture pack for the skin. Through researching between backgrounds, buttons and graphics, it looks like those images are actually in the backgrounds whereas when I compare it to other skins backgrounds, it makes them look empty. Just trying to help and see what can be done.

For the Stables its Backgrounds > Company_Profile_Stables.jpg

The Creative screen is Backgrounds > Office_Creative.jpg

  8. Well, All Japan is proving to be "fun" 😑

Kaz Hayashi is the reigning All Asia Jr. Heavyweight Champion, but also holds the All Asia Tag Team Championship under a different Gimmick as the masked "Shiryu" alongside "The Great Kosuke" who is also main eventer Satoshi Kojima.

I think I'll add each wrestler's masked alter ego, and set them as tag champions as Kaz Hayashi and Satoshi Kojima since they are the more important gimmick for each guy.

While the topic has been brought back to the main page, I figure I'll give an update on where things currently stand.

I've made the decision to cut IWA: Puerto Rico, World Wrestling Council and Kaientai Dojo from the list of promotions to be included in the mod at release. These are honestly the three that I know least about, and likely the three promotions no one is really looking to dive into with a game. Still, my goal is to likely add them in down the line, but in the interest of getting a BETA release to see the light of day, I'm cutting them for now.

As also stated, the promotions that are left are a slog for me to get through because they are promotions outside of my comfort zone of the US, being all based in Japan or Mexico. Luckily, for the majority of the Japanese promotions, all of the workers were present in the Ruthless Aggression base data and I was able to mostly set the contracts of each promotion. Now its a matter of going through each one by one and updating the companies, worker stats, work history, tag teams, updating the title histories, etc... like has been done for all of the promotions in red.

Mexico is a different story. CMLL is missing about 30 workers from the data, and there are quite a few missing from AAA as well. Many of them are low level luchadors that are hard to find info on. My knowledge of lucha is very limited, so this will likely be a lengthy process to get these two done.

After that, I'll be tackling the free agents and fixing stats, work histories, etc. Then I'll be taking a look at the yet to debut workers and making a list of those to add.

After that, we are looking at the first BETA release.

Hope you guys can stay with me
