  1. So I just got a new computer because let's be honest, my old processor was in such bad shape and infected with viruses and malware that I had to make a change and get some upgrades. With that, I've decided to start with a fresh dynasty.

As much as I enjoyed the ranking system i was doing with NXT, it just wasn't working out. I think if I'm going to do a ranking system, it's going to have to be 100% with nothing else, no storylines or special events or anything. And it has to be 100% round robin. So if I were to do that I'd start a completely new fed, pick workers from other feds and free agents, and have 2 or 3 levels of wrestlers for promotion/demotion, keep it going that way.

Or, I can just face my fears and try to book a fed with storylines, angles, etc etc, and also have special events like Tag Team Classics, Lethal Lottery, stuff like that.

Here's the thing, I know it doesn't matter how many followers I have, yadda yadda, but I really want to do a prediction contest. To do that, I need people that are predicting my shows regularly every time.

So which would I get more interest from. A round robin promotion/demotion where I pick a few matches each show and have you guys predict? Or an actual promotion with storylines, etc?

I would like to start this on Monday, Tuesday at the latest, so plenty of time to predict.

  2. Sorry guys, illness and trying to work through it has been kicking my butt the past few months.

I am going to continue this dynasty as early as this weekend. If I can't get a post in this weekend, I definitely will next week.

For those that are still following and would like to get some predictions in, my next show planned is the Lethal Lottery. If I can get enough followers and people predicting to have a solid prediction contest, I will. If not, I'll keep doing the best I can. Get those predictions in, so far I've only got 1!

  3. NXT Lethal Lottery Preview

40 participants have been chosen randomly to compete in tag team matches. There will be 10 tag team matches, and the winners will advance to a 20 man battle royal.

NXT General Manager William Regal has announce that the winner of the battle royal will earn 5 bonus points in his title group. The runner-up will receive 3 points, and the person with the most eliminations will receive 3 points. It will NOT add a match to their total, just points. This could vastly affect how the rankings shape up. Here's the match card:

Bobby Lashley and Drake Maverick vs. Damian Priest and Chase Parker

    Comments:

Cameron Grimes and James Drake vs. Harry Smith and Big Cass

    Comments:

Karrion Kross and Ross Von Erich vs. Brian Pillman Jr. and Matt Morgan

    Comments:

AJ Styles and Chad Gable vs. Shelton Benjamin and Ariya Daivari

    Comments:

Marshall Von Erich and Matt Martel vs. Enzo Amore and James Storm

    Comments:

Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong vs. Rhyno and Matt Riddle

    Comments:

Robbie E and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Austin Aries and Kyle O'Reilly

    Comments:

Zack Ryder and Dexter Lumis vs. TJP and Kenny King

    Comments:

Bobby Fish and Tyler Breeze vs. Tyler Bate and Rhett Titus

    Comments:

Heath Slater and Rusev vs. Trent Seven and Alex Shelley

    Comments:

    20 man Battle Royal

    Winner:

since nobody knows who the 20 participants will be, choosing the correct winner is worth 5 points. The 10 tag team matches are worth 2 points a piece, so a chance to really get some points here.

I will run this show on Friday, so if you're interested, get those predictions in.

  4. The television line-up and formats have been changed, starting next week.

The women will have their own show on Wednesday nights, it'll be 1 hour long, and it will be called NXT Spotlight.

The men will have a 2 hour show on Thursday nights, called NXT Unleashed. (Basically all I'm doing is just flip flopping the days of the shows.)

There will be minimal angles and storylines, and the focus will be on matches.

    Post Show Notes

Obviously Wilde vs. Styles is in the works for an upcoming title match. With the changes to the company that I'm getting ready to make, that will hopefully shake things up a bit, I'm undecided when I'm going to have the first title matches, but they will be coming up soon. I've already got another short storyline to come, and by short I mean 1, maybe 2 weeks. The storylines I'll be using will rarely last more than a month.

I'm definitely liking the way things are going, but I did mess up by having Zack Ryder wrestle 3 weeks in a row. I said I was going to limit wrestlers to 2 weeks in a row wrestling. I'm still looking for an easy way to chart that. I'm also looking for an easy way to chart and make sure the opponents are balanced. For example, I don't want Zack Ryder to have, say, Titus O'Neil in the majority of his elimination matches. I'd like to make it so they face each opponent in the group once. I'm strongly considering going straight round robin for the next set of groups. i'm interested to hear opinions regarding this.

NXT Lethal Lottery is coming up and the match card will be up shortly.

  6. <p><strong>NXT Unleashed</strong></p><p><strong>

    Wednesday, Week 4, October 2020</strong></p><p><strong>

Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium - Falcon Heights, MN</strong></p><p><strong>

    Show Attendance: 801</strong></p><p><strong>

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis</strong></p><p> </p><p>

-- <strong>NXT General Manager William Regal</strong> appeared on the TitanTron as the show opened. He said he had carefully reviewed both <strong>Miranda Gordy</strong> and <strong>Tessa Blanchard's</strong> suggestions. He said they were both great suggestions, and that he had decided to combine the 2. Gordy wanted a Street Fight, while Blanchard wanted a 30 minute Iron Woman match. He couldn't guarantee them 30 minutes, but he did say that the match he had decided would have the possibility of multiple falls. He announced that later tonight, the 2 women would compete in a Texas Death Match! No disqualification, no countout. After every pinfall or submission, the loser would have to get up by the count of 10. The first one to lose a fall and not make it back to their feet by the 10 count would lose the match, and their spot in NXT.</p><p> </p><p>

-- <strong>Shane McMahon</strong> was at the top of the stage, ready to draw for the next 2 matches for Lethal Lottery this coming Saturday night. The 7th Lethal Lottery Match would see <strong>Robbie E</strong> and 1/2 of the NXT Tag Team Champions, <strong>Tommaso Ciampa</strong> taking on <strong>Austin Aries and Kyle O'Reilly</strong>. The 8th match would see <strong>Zack Ryder and Dexter Lumis</strong> taking on <strong>TJP and Kenny King</strong>. Ryder was very cautious about his tag team partner, even tapping Lumis on the shoulder, only to get a blank stare back.</p><p> </p><p>

    -- <strong>Matt Riddle</strong> destroyed <strong>Cal Bloom</strong>, a call-up from SCW.</p><p> </p><p>

-- <strong>HBK</strong> then took the stage to announce the final 2 matches in the Lethal Lottery. The 9th match would be <strong>Bobby Fish and Tyler Breeze</strong> taking on <strong>Tyler Bate and Rhett Titus</strong>. The 10th and final Lethal Lottery match would be <strong>Heath Slater and Rusev</strong> taking on <strong>Trent Seven and Alex Shelley</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>

-- <strong>The Coach</strong> was interviewing <strong>NXT North American Champion Joaquin Wilde</strong> when Wilde was attacked from behind by <strong>AJ Styles</strong>, who laid him out with a Styles Clash.</p><p> </p><p>

    -- In a non-title match, <strong>Matt Morgan</strong> defeated <strong>NXT Cruiserweight Champion Brian Pillman Jr.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

-- In a Texas Death Match, <strong>Tessa Blanchard</strong> defeated <strong>Miranda Gordy</strong> when Gordy could not answer the 10 count after Blanchard pinned her with a Buzzsaw DDT. Gordy must leave NXT.</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Post Show Comments</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Gordy is being sent to SCW for development. There are changes coming to the company starting next month. First, I am pretty much cutting out storylines. The basis of the company will be the ranking system. There will be 1 title and 1 non-title storyline every month. Everything else will be ranking based. The non-title storyline on months with special events, will be based on that. The non-title storyline on months without special events (by special events I'm talking KOTR, Lethal Lottery, Cruiserweight Classic, etc.) will be determined by me.</p><p> </p><p>

There will also be a change in tv programming. The women will take over the 1 hour Wednesday show, and will be called NXT Spotlight. This make sense as the women are spotlighted all by themselves. They will get 3 matches a week. The other 4 title ranking groups (NXT, NXT North American, NXT Cruiserweight, and NXT Tag) will all get 2 matches on Thursday every week. This will change to NXT Unleashed. I hope I'm not confusing anybody. </p><p> </p><p>

The reason for this change is quite simple, I like the ranking system, and the randomness, and I suck at storylines. I hope people will still follow along with all the changes coming.</p>

  7. NXT Spotlight

    Thursday, Week 3, October 2020

    Joe Etzel Field- Portland, OR

    Show Attendance: 776

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis

-- NXT Cruiserweight Title Ranking Match -- Drake Maverick defeated Tyler Breeze and Ariya Daivari. The order of elimination was Daivari followed by Breeze.

-- NXT Womens Title Ranking Match -- Peyton Royce defeated Sarah Logan and Candice LeRae. LeRae was eliminated first, then Logan.

-- Tessa Blanchard came out and said that she was a wrestler, and that she wrestled. She didn't need any special stipulation to beat Miranda Gordy. She said she would prove that she could be Gordy over and over again, and because of that, her suggested stipulation for their match next week would be a 30 minute Iron Woman Match.

-- NXT North American Title Ranking Match -- Roderick Strong defeated Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne. Dunne was eliminated first, followed by Riddle.

-- NXT Tag Team Title Ranking Match -- The All Night Express defeated Badd Boys and The Motor City Machine Guns. Badd Boys were eliminated first, followed by The Motor City Machine Guns.

-- Miranda Gordy came out to announce her stipulation, and she claimed that the Gordys were always fighters. She knew that Tessa wasn't a fighter, so she was going to take advantage of her weakness. Therefore, her suggested stipulation for next weeks match was Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight.

-- NXT Title Ranking Match -- Finn Balor defeated James Storm and The Velveteen Dream. Storm was eliminated first, followed by Dream.

-- NXT North American Title Ranking Match -- Zack Ryder defeated AJ Styles and Harry Smith. Smith was eliminated first, followed by Styles.

-- William Regal came out to announce that he heard both Tessa and Miranda, and both their stipulation were very well thought out. He said he had a tough decision to make, but he would make that decision at the beginning of next weeks episode of NXT Unleashed. He also announced that the Blanchard/Gordy match would be the main event, allowing them time to prepare for whatever type of match he decides.

-- NXT Womens Title Ranking Match -- Lexi Bliss defeated Tessa Blanchard and Tenille Dashwood. Dashwood was eliminated first, then Blanchard.

-- NXT Title Ranking Match -- Rusev defeated Keith Lee and Bobby Lashley. Lee was eliminated first, followed by Lashley.

    Post Show Comments

Just to recap, in the elimination matches, I am deciding the winners, but leaving it up to the road agents to decide order of elimination, so there is still some randomness involved. There are some surprising results so far, as Keith Lee isn't getting much love from the road agents. (I have heard that the mod I'm using has most of the wrestlers badly underrated, so I may have to make some changes to that. Lee should be dominating in my opinion). Harry Smith got the pop of the night. He debuted a new move that got a huge reaction from the crowd. Expect it to be part of his arsenal going forward.

Commissioner Regal has a big decision to make. Will Miranda Gordy and Tessa Blanchard have a wrestling match or a street fight next week? I for one am interested to see what he decides.

The news keeps getting worse for Old Man Vince and that b*tch Stephanie McMahon. Shayna Baszler has decided to retire in 3 months, taking another piece away from their women's division. Also, old man Vince is losing one of his go to guys, his right hand man, as Pat Patterson is retiring and leaving the business soon. I love it!

I will be debuting a new format next week, at least for NXT Spotlight. I am going to be making it match only. The best of both worlds. Unleashed gets the angles, storylines, etc, and NXT Spotlight, well we spotlight the in-ring action. I'll be having a new writing format too, a more simplified format, which will also show how many points each wrestler gets in their match. The reason I'm doing that is because there will be some additions to the show as far as match types. Some battle royals and survivor series style matches will be coming soon. Maybe some other stuff too. The focus will still be on the 3 way elimination matches, but I do want to mix it up a bit.

  8. I will be resuming my dynasty writing and some other projects next week. This is on the list. Just wanted to check in and see who was still following. I briefly considered scrapping this and going with something else, but I've put a lot of set-up into this, with the rankings system combined with storylines, as well as the special events. So I think I'm definitely going to see this through, and hopefully at some point I can have enough regulars to have a prediction contest of some sort.
  9. NXT Unleashed

    Wednesday, Week 3, October 2020

Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark - Phoenix, AZ

    Show Attendance: 1,106

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis

-- The 4th match of the NXT Lethal Lottery is drawn by Triple H. The 4th match will be AJ Styles and Chad Gable vs. Shelton Benjamin and Ariya Daivari. There is a lot of amusement as the partners Shelton and Gable are on opposite sides.

-- Tessa Blanchard easily defeated Jessamyn Duke, who was borrowed from SCW.

-- Miranda Gordy defeated Xia Brookside, also a borrow from SCW. However, her win wasn't so easy.

-- William Regal appeared on the video board after the Gordy/Brookside match and said that he was very impressed with both competitors. He told them each to think of a stipulation and be ready to present it tomorrow night on NXT Spotlight. He would then take the week to decide which stipulation wins for their match next week on NXT Unleashed. The stipulation will be announced before the match.

-- HBK appeared on stage to draw the 5th match of the NXT Lethal Lottery. This match will be Marshall Von Erich and Matt Martel taking on Enzo Amore and James Storm. Neither Martel nor Von Erich looked pleased at having to team up, while Enzo was ecstatic at teaming with a veteran like Storm.

-- Zack Gibson defeated NXT North American Champion Joaquin Wilde by disqualification when Wilde intentionally hit Gibson with a steel chair. After the match, Wilde continued to pound Gibson with the chair, returning the message to AJ Styles.

-- After the carnage in the ring was cleared, William Regal came to the ring to announce a big signing for the NXT Women's Division. This young lady would take spot #15 in the NXT Women's Title Rankings Group. He introduced Lexi Bliss and welcomed her to NXT!

-- Road Dogg was set to draw for match #6 of the NXT Lethal Lottery. This match will be Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong taking on Rhyno and Matt Riddle. With Strong having issues in the past with both Gargano and Riddle, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

-- In a Non-Title match, NXT Tag Team Champions #DIY defeated the makeshift team of Bobby Lashley and Rusev.

    Post Show Comments

We have some really, really exciting matches taking place in the NXT Lethal Lottery, and still 4 more matches to draw next week. What kind of stipulations will Blanchard and Gordy come up with? Will Regal choose 1 of those stipulations? Or maybe both?

I want my champions who are not in storylines to get some action, so expect them to be randomly booked for non-title matches on NXT Unleashed, most likely against people that aren't in their division, or borrowed workers.

  10. NXT Spotlight

    Thursday, Week 2, October 2020

Charles H. Braun Stadium - Evansville, IN

    Show Attendance: 819

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis

-- NXT Cruiserweight Title Ranking Match -- Myron Reed defeated Robbie E and Cameron Grimes. Grimes was eliminated first, followed by Robbie E.

-- NXT Womens Title Ranking Match -- Dana Brooke defeated Mia Yim and Chelsea Green. Green was eliminated first, then Yim.

-- Triple H and William Regal were talking backstage, trying to think of new concepts to add to NXT Spotlight. Triple H suggested having different types of matches to mix things up, including tag matches, singles matches, and non-elimination triple threat matches. Regal suggested survivor series type matches and battle royals. Triple H looked pleased and said "There's definitely going to be some things added."

-- NXT North American Title Ranking Match -- Zack Ryder defeated Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong. In a surprise, Strong was eliminated first, then Dunne.

-- NXT Tag Team Title Ranking Match -- reDRagon defeated Enzo and Cass and The Von Erichs. Enzo and Cass were eliminated first, then the Von Erichs.

-- Backstage, The Coach interviewed #DIY on their thoughts on the NXT Tag Team Division. #DIY said that they had already caused 1 tag team to break up, and that the tag team division was solid with new teams coming in, but nothing #DIY couldn't handle.

-- NXT North American Title Ranking Match -- Austin Aries defeated Joe Hennig and Dexter Lumis. The order of elimination was Hennig, then Lumis.

-- NXT Title Ranking Match -- Dominik Dijakovic defeated The Velveteen Dream and James Storm. Storm was eliminated first, then Dream.

-- NXT Womens Title Ranking Match -- Io Shirai defeated Dakota Kai and Sarah Logan. Kai was the first elimination, followed by Logan.

    Post Show Comments

Some of the results may be surprising, as I mentioned, I'm choosing the winner, while the road agent chooses the order of elimination. I wanted to mix things up by not having every single match be a triple threat elimination match. I'm planning on doing survivor series style matches, as well as battle royal matches. I'm also considering regular tag team matches in which the winner gets points and the loser doesn't. I'm open to suggestions. May even go back to 4 way elimination matches. The bulk of the shows will still be 3 way elimination matches, because it's a good default.

I do know that starting on next weeks show, there will be 3 divisions that have 2 matches a show, so as to get more matches in. The women's division, having 15 competitors, will always have 2 matches featured on the show. Next week (October Week 3), the NXT and NXT North American Titles will have 2 matches each. The following week (October Week 4), the NXT North American and NXT Cruiserweight Titles will have 2 matches, and then the week after that (November Week 1), it'll be the NXT Cruiserweight and NXT Tag Team Titles that have 3 matches. That pattern will just continue like that. This will get more people more matches.

Just heard from Vince Russo that he booked Flash Morgan Webster over Noam Dar to win the SCW Title. Interesting choice, to say the least.

  11. WCW SuperBrawl Card

Match One - Dustin Rhodes vs Larry Zbyzsko

Match Two - Big Van Vader vs JYD

Match Three - Sid Vicious vs Ricky Morton

Match Four - Brian Pillman vs Bobby Eaton - TV Title No.1 Contender Match.

Match Five - Arn Anderson, Barry Windham and Tully Blanchard vs The Steiner Brothers and Scott Hall - Six Man No DQ Match

Match Six - Lex Luger vs Stan Hansen - Strap Match for WCW US Title

Match Seven - Rick Rude vs Ricky Steamboat - WCW World Heavyweight Title No.1 Contender Match

Main Event - Ric Flair vs Sting - WCW World Heavyweight Title. (Title Currently Vacant).

  12. NXT Unleashed

    Wednesday, Week 2, October 2020

Charles H. Braun Stadium - Evansville, IN

    Show Attendance: 922

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis

-- The show opens with Joe Hennig and Marshall Von Erich talking to William Regal about the situation between Tessa Blanchard and Miranda Gordy.

-- Triple H is on the main stage, as he draws the first match of the NXT Lethal Lottery to be held at the end of the month. The first match will be Bobby Lashley and Drake Maverick taking on Damian Priest and Chase Parker. Lashley looks disgusted at having to team with Maverick, while Priest says that Parker and his regular partner were impressive in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

-- AJ Styles defeated Robbie E in a solid match, then proceeded to give him a 2nd and a 3rd Styles Clash after the bell, clearly sending a message to NXT North American Champion Joaquin Wilde.

-- Road Dogg is on stage to draw the 2nd match of the NXT Lethal Lottery. That match will be Cameron Grimes and James Drake taking on Harry Smith and Big Cass. Smith and Cass seem to be the much happier pair, thinking they can use their size to their advantage.

-- Miranda Gordy and Sarah Logan defeated Tessa Blanchard and Chelsea Green, with Blanchard having limited involvement in the match. After the match, NXT General Manager William Regal came out and announced that Gordy and Blanchard would wrestle each other in 2 weeks in a Loser Leaves NXT match. But next week, they would wrestle against opponents of Regal's choosing. The lady that was more impressive in their match would choose the stipulation for the match in 2 weeks.

-- The Coach was set to draw for Match #3 of the NXT Lethal Lottery. This match will be Karrion Kross and Ross Von Erich taking on Brian Pillman Jr. and Matt Morgan. Morgan and Kross were clearly not happy about teaming with 2nd Generation members.

-- Rusev defeated Austin Aries in a superb match to end the show.

    Post Show Comments

The Lethal Lottery matches are completely random draw, and I will try to spin storylines from some of the matches, much like what happened in the actual Lethal Lottery PPVs. I wanted to give Rusev a clean win because he was unhappy about the booking of his match on NXT Spotlight. Not to mention, Aries isn't going to get a lot of love here. Great wrestler, but not the most professional.

  13. NXT Spotlight

    Thursday, Week 1, October 2020

Brazell Field and GCU Ballpark - Phoenix, AZ

    Show Attendance: 1,345

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis

-- NXT Womens Title Ranking Match -- Shotzi Blackheart defeated Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae. Nox was eliminated first, then LeRae.

-- NXT Cruiserweight Title Ranking Match -- Isaiah Scott defeated El Hijo Fantasma and Tony Nese. Nese was eliminated first, then El Hijo de Fantasma.

-- The Coach was interviewing Matt Riddle before his match later tonight, when Pete Dunne came by to offer encouragement.

-- NXT Title Ranking Match -- Damian Priest defeated Karrion Kross and Rusev. Kross was eliminated first, then Rusev.

-- NXT North American Title Ranking Match -- AJ Styles defeated Matt Riddle and Titus O'Neil. O'Neil was eliminated first, then Riddle.

-- Triple H and William Regal came out to announce that in place of NXT Takeover this month, a special event would be held. It will be Lethal Lottery and Battle Bowl. 10 tag team matches, participants drawn randomly, with the winners of the tag matches facing off in a 20 man battle royal. The winner gets a shot at the title of the ranking group he is in. If a member of a tag team group wins it, he and his partner get a tag team title shot.

-- NXT Womens Title Ranking Match -- Peyton Royce defeated Scarlett Bordeaux and Rhea Ripley. Bordeaux was eliminated first, then Ripley.

-- NXT Tag Team Titles Ranking Match -- Moustache Mountain defeated Grizzled Young Veterans and Gable and Benjamin. Grizzled Young Veterans were eliminated first, followed by Gable and Benjamin.

-- NXT Title Ranking Match -- Finn Balor defeated Bobby Lashley and Keith Lee. Lee was eliminated first, followed by Lashley.

    Post Show Comments

Pretty simple, I choose the winner of each match, and then road agent chooses the order of elimination. First elimination gets 1 point, second elimination gets 2 points, winner gets 3 points.

  14. NXT Unleashed

    Wednesday, Week 1, October 2020

Brazell Field and GCU Ballpark - Phoenix, AZ

    Show Attendance: 1,143

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis

-- The show opens with Tessa Blanchard in the ring, wanting answers for what happened at NXT Takeover: Oregon. The Von Erichs hold back Miranda Gordy from going to the ring, reminding her she has a match later, and can't afford to get into a fight right now.

-- AJ Styles dominated Ariya Daivari in a fairly short match.

-- After the match, The Coach gets into the ring to interview Styles, who is frustrated about being placed in the NXT North American Title rankings. He said he is the best wrestler in NXT and it's a disgrace. He's interrupted by NXT North American Champion Joaquin Wilde, who says Styles is over the hill and doesn't deserve to be competing for the NXT Title.

-- Dana Brooke defeated Miranda Gordy after a distraction from Tessa Blanchard.

-- Zack Ryder and Gable and Benjamin beat Joe Hennig and the Von Erichs.

-- Backstage, Gordy and Blanchard are brawling, when William Regal has security break it up. He says that it's obvious 2nd Generation isn't big enough for both of them, and orders them into a match at the next NXT Takeover: where the loser would have to leave NXT.

    Post-Show Comments

So we've started 2 storylines tonight: Gordy vs. Blanchard and Styles vs. Wilde. More storylines will be started next week. Every so often, when I can keep up, I'll comment on happenings in other promotions. Last night on AEW Dynamite, Cody lost the TNT Title to Jeff Cobb, and Mox lost the AEW Title back to Chris Jericho. 15. NXT Takeover: Oregon - Post Show Comments

This will be my new writing style going forward, for shows and events. I decided that I'm not even going to look at the ratings anymore, because I just don't care. I'm more about the booking, telling my stories. Unless someone specifically wants to see the rankings, I will stop including the quick recaps.

Having Santana Garrett go over Tessa Blanchard was literally a last minute decision. With me needing to create storylines, I thought a jealous storyline between Blanchard and Gordy would be a good women's storyline. Pillman Jr. going over Tyler Breeze was a given. Pillman Jr. is a future star. While Ryback isn't the idle champion, I wanted 2nd Generation to remain the hunters, not the hunted. I have plans for a Joaquin Wilde storyline.

I'm still looking to hire a tag team, a cruiserweight, and one wrestler for the NXT Title ranking group. I've also decided to have NXT Unleashed be on Wednesday nights. It'll be a 1 hour show. It just makes more sense to have it first in the week, then have NXT Spotlight on Thursday, which will be a 2 hour show.

    Prediction Contest Rankings

    NXT Takeover: Oregon

    #1- vladjarca - 4 points

    #2- dukka- 3 points

I appreciate that dukka predicted a draw in the #DIY vs. Von Erichs match. I thought about giving him 1/2 point for that, but then I figured I'd have to give 1/2 point every time someone predicted a draw, and that would be a slippery slope.

    Overall

    #1- vladjarca- 17 points

    #2- dukka- 3 points

    #3- fight kyle fight - 1 point

I'm still hoping to get more people predicting, but if not, we'll go with what we have, and I'll change my prizes a bit.

  16. NXT Takeover: Oregon

    Saturday, Week 4, September 2020

    PK Park - Eugene, OR

    Show Attendance: 2,855

Show Announcers: Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis

The show opened with Triple H and William Regal discussing the NXT ranking system. All titles will have rankings. There will be 3 way elimination matches in which the winner gets 3 points, the runner-up 2 points, and the first eliminated gets 1 point. Randomly drawn, once everybody in a ranking group has had 1 match, the rules will be that nobody can be involved in more than 2 ranking matches in a row. Every so often, there will be title matches involving the #1 contender. Other rules to follow. Groups have already been drawn, first ranking contest will last through the end of the year. From there, competitions will be every 6 months. Promotion, demotion, released from company, moves to SCW, all part of it. More rules to follow, groups have been randomly drawn.

Tessa Blanchard vs. Miranda Gordy - Winner to compete for NXT Womens Title later in show

It looked like the fingerpoke of doom was going to decide this match, as Gordy and Blanchard shook hands, and Gordy laid down in the center of the ring. But wait... it wouldn't be that easy. As Blanchard went for the pin, Gordy rolled her up quickly, getting a 2 count. From there, the ladies of 2nd Generation battled, but the experience of Blanchard was too much, as she went on to get the victory!

    Winner: Tessa Blanchard

The Coach caught up with The BroserWeights backstage, getting their opinion on the NXT ranking system. Matt Riddle commented that while it was great teaming with Pete Dunne, he wanted singles gold. Dunne agreed, and The BroserWeights decided to split up to take their chances at singles gold, entertaining the idea of getting back together in the Tag Team division at a later date.

    NXT North American Title Match

Joaquin Wilde © vs. Joe Hennig

Wilde, the former DJZ in Impact, used his quickness to his advantage, constantly frustrating Hennig. The 2nd Generation Superstar could never really get an advantage. Wilde was a surprise winner in the NXT North American Title Tournament, but he proved that he was a worthy champion, getting a big victory, winning the first one for NXT!

Winner and still NXT North American Champion: Joaquin Wilde

    NXT Cruiserweight Title Match

Tyler Breeze © vs. Brian Pillman Jr.

Another surprise champion, but Pillman Jr. was not to be taken lightly in this one. His father was one of this best lightweights of all time, and Pillman Jr. showed why he was a chip off the old block. Breeze could have taken the match a little more serious, doing a little too much dancing. Pillman was all business, and it resulted in our first title change of the night.

Winner and NEW NXT Cruiserweight Champion: Brian Pillman Jr.

After the match, Pillman Jr. celebrated in the ring, getting a big win for 2nd Generation.

Backstage, Harry Smith and Joe Hennig were celebrating Pillman Jr.'s title victory, when they heard Miranda Gordy and Tessa Blanchard having a heated argument in the next dressing room. Along with Rachael Ellering, Smith and Hennig broke things up, reminding Blanchard and Gordy that they were on the same side, and that the 2 ladies needed to work together because a title victory for Blanchard meant one step closer to total domination.

    NXT Tag Team Title Match

#DIY © vs. The Von Erichs

Nobody can deny that the Von Erichs are one of the best wrestling families in the world, and Ross and Marshall Von Erich are future stars... but they aren't there yet. #DIY controlled the match with superior tag team wrestling, and defended their titles rather easily.

Winners and still NXT Tag Team Champions: #DIY

    NXT Womens Title Match

Santana Garrett © vs. Tessa Blanchard w/Rachael Ellering

Blanchard, being one of the best female wrestlers in the world, really used that confidence to her advantage, and it looked like we were going to have yet another title change. It looked even more troubling for Garrett when Gordy came to the ring. Gordy seemed to be in full support of Blanchard, and it looked like Gordy and Ellering were concocting a plan to interfere. Ellering distracted the official, and Gordy jumped up on the ring apron. All seemed to be going to plan until Gordy did the unthinkable.. blasting Blanchard in the back of the head with a huge forearm! Ellering was oblivious to what was going on, as Garrett hit Blanchard with a shining star press to retain the title, as Gordy looked very pleased at what she had done!

Winner and still NXT Womens Champion: Santana Garrett

Backstage, HBK caught up with Ryback to give him a few words of encouragement. HBK told Ryback that while the other titles mattered, it was very important for NXT to keep a tight grasp on the NXT Title. He told Ryback to go win this one for NXT!

    NXT Title Match

    Ryback © vs. Harry Smith

Both men really tried to use their power, and it was a very open match, with both men having a share of the advantage. Lots of near falls in the match, and it looked like Ryback was going to run out of steam. He had just enough left though, getting one last burst of energy to hit a big finishing move and keep the NXT Title in the camp of NXT, finishing off a very good show!

Winner and still NXT Champion: Ryback

  17. NXT Takeover Preview

6 matches on the card. 5 title matches, and a match to decide who wrestles for a title. If people want to predict, great, but if nobody does, i'll just keep running through shows like I have been lately. I won't run this show before Monday though.

  18. NXT Unleashed - Week 3, September 2020 - Quick Recap

    Xo4JOLI.jpg

3 more wrestlers made their debut tonight, as the team of Bobby Lashley, James Storm, and Zack Ryder teamed up in a winner take all match, but couldn't take down the unified team of Brian Pillman Jr., Joe Hennig, and Harry Smith.

The reason this was a winner take all match is because of the results of the first 2 matches. The Von Erichs stayed hot by beating Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin.

Miranda Gordy and Tessa Blanchard couldn't get on the same page and they were defeated by Candice LeRae and Io Shirai.

With 2nd Generation winning the tiebreaker series 2-1, William Regal announced that as per the stipulation, all the members of the stable would wrestle for a title at Saturday's NXT Takeover. He then announced the problem that only Blanchard or Gordy could wrestle for the NXT Womens Title. He then dropped a bombshell that they would have to wrestle each other in the opening match of NXT Takeover, with the winner taking on NXT Womens Champion Santana Garrett. This did not make either lady happy.

I'm going to forego the SCW results, as until they start having title changes, I don't see the need. I'll definitely keep an eye on them though.

It looks like NXT may be stuck at Small status, as we can't get to Medium anytime soon with the ratings, yet the ratings are too high for us to drop to Tiny status. So Small it is, at least for now. That's ok, I don't care, because I have big, big plans for the company.

  19. NXT Unleashed - Week 3, September 2020 - Quick Recap

    kDdFeai.jpg

It didn't take long for us to figure out what Tenille Dashwood was doing coming out of William Regal's office. She was the mystery opponent for Tessa Blanchard and while The Coach tried to interview her, she was on her way to the ring. Unfortunately, Blanchard is one of the best womens wrestlers in the world, and she gave 2nd Generation a much needed win.

Brian Pillman Jr. showed why he has the potential to be just as good as his father, getting back Austin Aries in what many consider an upset. This completed the 2nd Generation comeback, and with the series tied at 3, Regal had an announcement. He announced that next week on NXT Unleashed, there would be a series of 3 matches to decide 2nd Generations fate. Those matches would be:

Blanchard and Gordy vs. 2 mystery opponents

The Von Erichs vs. a mystery tag teams

In a 3 vs. 3 survivor series style match, Joe Hennig, Harry Smith, and Brian Pillman Jr. would take on 3 mystery opponents.

2nd Generation didn't like this, demanding to know who their opponents would be. Regal told them that it must not feel good to be in the dark. He did say that it would not be opponents they had already faced.

A solid show, at least I thought. Wow, that show rating. Ouch! I know I'm not worried about ratings so much, but boy, NXT will never get back to medium status like this. Oh well, whatever happens happens I guess!

Let's take a look at how SCW Weekly turned out this week:

    iYooifR.jpg

In other news, WWE is definitely having some struggles with their women's division. We have already taken Peyton Royce from them, and are in the works of taking another of their female stars. Becky Lynch is on maternity leave, and old senile Vince just announced that Sasha Banks is going on maternity leave. What a mess. I think it's funny. We will continue to raid the WWE and take their talent. Whether or not we become the #1 company in the world, if we can knock WWE from that spot, I'm happy.

  20. NXT Unleashed - Week 2, September 2020 - Quick Recap

    QZItiUN.jpg

Welcome to NXT AJ Styles! Unfortunately he didn't get quite as big of a pop as I was hoping, but that wasn't the biggest surprise. As he was in the ring calling out Brian Pillman Jr., another new signing, Austin Aries appeared, claiming Styles was past his prime. NXT GM William Regal came out to announce that they would wrestle each tonight in the main event, with the winner taking on Pillman Jr. next week. Aries won the match, setting up a solid match next week.

Another new signing debuted tonight, as Peyton Royce was the mystery opponent for Miranda Gordy. Regal ran into Gordy backstage, told her to get to the ring and get ready, and Royce came out, taking care of business. Also taking care of business was Keith Lee, taking care of Harry Smith. This means that 2nd Generation is in danger. They have to win both matches next week to force a tie. NXT looks to be in great shape, and the celebration as the show went off the air proved how happy Triple H, HBK, Road Dogg, and Regal are.

That's not all, we have more new talent to debut over the next few weeks. But how about SCW this week? Did they crown champions? Was it all tag team matches again? Let's take a look.

    ySSnjvY.jpg

So SCW has crowned a Womens champion. Not a bad choice, Alisha Edwards is a special talent. Still no SCW champion though, hopefully that changes soon.

  21. I have decided to postpone the debut episode of NXT Spotlight until October (game time, not real time).

I have decided to completely revamp the rankings system. All 5 titles will have a ranking system. Tag teams will stay together, there will be a form of promotion/relegation, and there will be some different rules for some of the championship rankings.

The full details will be explained at the next Takeover in a few weeks. Look for a couple episodes of NXT Unleashed sometime today.
