  1. What kind of relationship would a heel Authority Figure Steve DeColt have with his brothers? Neutral? Actively trying to screw with them? Or is he a heel with everyone else but still loyal to his family?
  2. Excited to start playing as CWA, I have spent about 3-4 hours writing everything onto a paper notebook (that's just how I play). Besides the obvious Tag Team Grand Prix, what theme or gimmicks does each event have? Total Elimination sounds like a Survivor Series-style show. Chaos in the Cage will have a Cage Main Event. Any others I may not know about? Which is the biggest show?

  4. I just started a Thunderverse CWT game, ran my first show, and 5 different characters got 'Not suited to their gimmick' penalties. *smashes laptop* WHY?!!! Why would you start people off with gimmicks that they're not suited for? *smash smash smash* Ahem. Sorry about that. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
  5. What's the rule for how much of a bonus you need to make someone happy again? Is it based on a percentage of their salary?
  6. So Flying Jimmy Foxx and Giant Tana have good chemistry as a team. What should their team name be?
  7. Question for all the TCW players: Who do you bring in to job and why?

  11. <p>I decided to try to be like one of the cool kids and make a video diary for my TCW game. Episode 0 is an overview of TCW. My microphone is crappy and it's probably not very good, but I still hope you guys watch it and give me fake internet points because I'm insecure and crave validation. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/jP4Zhr_CXyQ?start=24&feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="TEW 2016 TCW Episode 0"></iframe></div></div>

That's from the top of my head. <p> </p><p> I signed all of them, I'm currently in August the first year and Flynn & Skye has made their main-roster debuts, while Fro Sure is on his 8th month as my development's World Champ.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Forgot to mention I hired Logan Wolfsbaine for Developmental and Kirk Jameson to push to the moon. The problem is that most of the people on the list won't accept a Developmental Contract. It feels a little bit like cheating to hire them under a normal contract then send them to Developmental, but I guess I could do that.</p>
  13. Who do you all hire for Developmental? I've hired Quentin Queen, Cobra, Seth Whitehead, Xavi Ferrera and Austin Smooth. Anyone else I should look at that would fit into TCW's style?
  14. Snake Pit, Viper's Nest, Venomous Snakes You could pull a 'Kill Bill' and give them snake 'code names' like Copperhead, Sidewinder, Black Mamba, etc.
  15. Is there any notes that help people learn faster or keep them from learning as fast? Like, if you're trying to have a match between a Veteran and a Young Prospect, will certain notes like 'Keep it Simple', 'Script', 'Protect' hinder how much the youngster will learn? How about for promos, will letting them cut an Unscripted promo, even if they fail at it, help them get bigger gains in their Mic Skills than doing a safer, Scripted promo?
  16. <p>Sorry, couldn't resist</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/9BcJF7u.jpg</span></p>
  17. Does basically nothing that happens on a B show count at all? I've had huge upsets happen and it looks like no movement in popularity for either guy. Granted, I didn't go in the editor and see if there was .05 or whatever, just wondering so I don't get all obsessive.
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="BrokenCycle" data-cite="BrokenCycle" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The player handbook says that workers gain popularity in angles more than three minutes. <p> </p><p> Does that mean 3+ minutes or 4+ minutes?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> 4 minutes or more</p>
  19. Is there any downside to sending my not-so-good-in-the-ring midcarders to developmental and 'borrowing' them every show? Would they still get the full benefit of being in Developmental stat-wise?
  20. <p>Setting up my first Developmental Territory, quick question:</p><p> </p><p> I've hired an owner and a head booker. (Vin Tanner and Karen Killer) I've sent a few people down and am going on a bit of a hiring spree to fill it up. Do I also have to hire and assign everyone else, like announcers, road agents and referees, or will the owner take care of that? They are listed as a child company, if that makes a difference.</p>

I just got this for the first time ever.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This is like the Bayley Effect. Basically they kind of non-threatening big sister type who has the kind of appeal that can bring a different type of fan to your show.</p>
  22. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="d12345" data-cite="d12345" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41343" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Those are the hot fixes to TCW's issues, which most use but the real main fix is a 1-year fiscally responsible plan. <p> </p><p> Find a high SQ babyface who can work and spend the year getting them super over. If Spencer Spade becomes available from RIPW he's the guy to build around (and you can beat SWF in that negotiation because they'll only offer him a dev deal).</p><p> </p><p> Moving on from Pop isn't worth paying 2mill IMO. You can save more money by being on the smaller network and controlling the Popularity of your roster. Pick a few guys that you want to get over and don't let anyone else get over. That's how you control your finances/pay rise requests.</p><p> </p><p> Only upgrade your Production values to match USPW and SWF when you're ready to compete in national battles. Until then just make it good enough to not lose your pop.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for that info. Ok, so stay on POP, that sounds reasonable.</p>
  23. <p>Starting a game with TCW, been doing a lot of research before getting down to it because that is how I play. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong with the following:</p><p> </p><p> There is no way to win National Battles without hiring Marat.</p><p> You should upgrade your PPV carrier right away from U-Demand to USA Free Choice.</p><p> You should upgrade your TV from Pop TV to USA Sports 1 and pay the 1.8 million penalty.</p><p> You should always upgrade your production to be equal to USPW and SWF.</p><p> You should set up house shows for extra revenue/experience.</p><p> You should set up a Medium Level Small Develepmental for $750k and stack it with future stars.</p><p> You should fire Warlord Pain as a Road Agent and pay the penalty for it to bring your backstage rating up 2 points. You should also remove the dress code for another 2 points.</p><p> </p><p> Is there any other tips anyone would like to add?</p>
  24. Did you use the 'Script' Note? That makes a difference, unless their psych is abysmal.
