  1. Do you have a name picked out for the new fantasy mod? Will it be a fairly large database to begin with or are you planning on starting small and working towards that? Obviously its in the planning stage and so I'm sure a lot of that is in flux right now. Will the enhancement talent for the 92 mod and the additions to that. All of that will be in the 2024 update and this is pretty much the "final" update of this year? Just wanted to make sure I was understanding correctly.
  2. Is Johnny Rich? Partner of David Haskins or Davey Rich in the game? I looked for Johnny Rich, Johnny Haskins, just Rich, just Haskins, am I missing something? Is he under a different name? Am I just dense? Haha
  3. Honestly cagematch.net already tracks the results of most every major and medium promotion. If you really want to do it on your own a spreadsheet in excel would be better than something TEW like.
  4. In the game you have Worldwide airing on Monday's. It aired on Saturday's in 1992. I'm not sure if this was on purpose or just an overlook.
  5. Thank you for your help Fleisch. I just didn't see the worker add on pack so I just downloaded the full worker pack that was missing some new workers. After the pics you shared its like 8 workers without pictures including the infamous Tor Berg! Haha.
  6. I guess let me re ask my question. Should there be 49 workers with pictures not assigned to them at the start of the game? I simply downloaded the pic pack and put it in a new folder. Thank you for that list though that atleast tells me everyone else should have a picture in the pic pack and I just gotta find it
  7. Funny that you're on the Super's. I can't wait to see a what the Super Destroyers (ECW) look like. I always like bringing them in as a jobber team in my mid 90's saves. Here are some more enhancements/colorizations. The Miz (of course) as Calgary Kid I had not seen a cut of it. Ray Traylor in 1982 Billy Powell (He did pre taped promo spots for upcoming matches in the region usually lasting a minute or so kind of a Sean Mooney of the Mid Atlantic from 1962-1985) Bob Poole (He was the first host of Championship Wrestling on WFBC for Crockett in 1961) nWo hats I had not seen a cut of them in the hats and I thought it would look great upscaled. Johnny Weaver (left) and Rich Landrum (Right). Johnny Weaver in his color commentator role that he started in 1979. David Crockett from 1976 when he was 30 years old.
  8. That is a really good list of vital workers to round it out to 2005. Are you essentially taking the roster of each of those major promotions every year between 01 and 05 and trying to add any missing workers from those rosters?
  9. It doesn't matter I just want to confirm that there are supposed to be 49 workers that don't have a picture? I know some of them have pictures in their alter ego. And Galaxy doesn't have a picture but there is a picture labeled Galaxy in the pic pack is that a different Galaxy? The same? As I'm playing I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Also its weird Adrian Finch doesn't have a picture I swear I've heard that name a ton but even googling him I came up short to the point where Danny Boy Collins kept coming up and I was thinking it was an alter ego I didn't know about. Turns out that Danny Boy Collins had his first match against Finch. Anyway I'm really enjoying the new venues and broadcasters they have really opened up the game even more (if thats possible).
  10. That is great to know. The broadcasters were such an exciting thing in this update to hear that it might have been broken was a bummer.
  11. Any chance you could do something with these? Bill Cardille (Host of Studio Wrestling from Pittsburgh for most of the 1960s), Adrian Adonis (bald), Big Bill Ward (announcer for Jim Crockett Sr. Promotions from 1958-1974 at WBTV Studios in Charlotte, NC), (you know those guys), Bill Krieger (WFBC Sports Director who took over as host of Live Championship Wrestling from 1962-1974).
  12. @Fleisch I'm so excited to give this a run. The broadcasters themselves is exciting to be able to see all the changes made its going to make moving through history that much more fun. @Mildly_AmusingThank you for updating the gif pack it'll be great to slide the new graphics in and start running this thing over the weekend. This mod was already so much fun I can't wait to give it a spin.
  13. I think others have mentioned but no two databases are exactly the same on how they name people so the best way to find someone is to search by their most popular alter ego. In this case Victoria. If you searched Tara she may or may not show up depending on the year. So searching their most popular alter ego is probably the best way to find them.
  14. Can I get these pictures in the Gaz Sticker Gif pack style?
  15. The first Ryland game I ever played was Extreme Warfare Deluxe. I played all the way through the final states of the EWR games. I came to GDS in 2007. So all in all I've spent 22 years playing Ryland games and I've spent almost 17 years on GDS.
  16. Toryumon Mexico is a fun promotion I'm glad to know they'll be in the game. It sounds like you got a small window to work on this and took full advantage. I'm pretty excited to see the new version.
  17. According to his Obit he was born December 19th 1931 and passed away in 2014. He was a sports personality on WBIR out of Knoxville where he stayed until his passing in 2014. He was the co host along with Les Thatcher of Southeastern Championship Wrestling.
  18. 92 has it. I think both the Monday Night Wars mods have it. Although honestly even if a company doesn't have it depending on when you start you really only need to import Tony Khan and a few titles none of that is too intense or intrusive.
  19. This is a massive update. I think an underrated aspect of this mod is how you (and SkyCrasher) are constantly adding more workers every update. I love it.
  20. I think thats in the 1995 timeline where he also shares the story about them being in Indianapolis and being upset about something I can't quite recall what. Maybe payoffs, maybe creative, maybe locker room issues. Vince gets on a plane and meets them that night. Hunter wants to be a part of the meeting but he was new to the promotion so they told him to stay in the room so he wouldn't get heat for anything. That whole interview is good. Nash just has this air of honesty about him. He's not really "in the business" he's not angling for a job anywhere, he kind of just gives his honest opinion on things. His memory of times and dates sucks at times but overall yeah Nash is pretty great at stuff like that. My biggest issue with that podcast is that its a great listen but I prefer where its more centralized around one show or one worker. His podcast is more just him and Sean hanging out for a bit, fun listen and some bits and pieces of different stories always leak through to make it a good listen.
  21. Nice find with that one @Kubikiri Asa T. Rantula is a guy I always hire in my 90's saves. I hadn't noticed the eye screw up until you mentioned it but good fix.
  22. Just wanted to say good choice on the Four Horsemen. I really enjoyed the Jindrak pick I don't think I've ever seen Jindrak presented as a Horsemen anywhere and I think he fits he's an elite athlete, good looking guy, great body looking forward to seeing where that goes.
  23. There is no real wrong answer. I'm playing an 86 game right now and I'm considering a diary with it. The first week of January there is a Saturday Nights Main Event that airs but its taped in December of 1985. Nothing Earth shattering happens at it so I figured I'd start the diary right after that so it would feel like I'm truly starting in 1986. I've had other games like a 99 Finger Poke of Doom game where I wanted to start after the Finger Poke because I thought the concept was interesting. There is no wrong time to start a diary. That being said as others have mentioned I try to write quite a bit of the diary before I start. Life gets in the way or the game itself gets in the way of a good diary. So I always try to book to my first big ppv or sometimes the night after or whatever. Just to give me that head start, just to get things flowing and then posting. Even then maybe hype up your diary in the diary preview, spend a few posts fleshing out the game world. Either way good luck with your diary if you choose to write it I'll keep an eye out for it.
