  1. Hey ReapeR if you tackle this one you could get a double wammy on it...That C-Verse 70s mod's HWA's top belt is the King of New York as well, so maybe you could just can the initials or something for that?
  2. Ahhh Tyler Black...RoH's Super Secret. First off, I'm not a ROHbot, I just catch RoH on HDnet on Youtube a good bit and then read reports for their major shows, but I'll attempt to explain Black. Black came to prominence in ROH when he formed the uber-cool anarchist tag team Age of the Fall with fellow emo kid Jimmy Jacobs (In reality they were reforming DIFH from WSX, a pairing that seemed to have alot of chemisty). The whole AOTF story I found to be highly confusing but the gist of it seems to be they bounced around a bit before hitting the roadblock that was Nerco Butcher. Butcher was briefly in AOTF before turning on them and fueding....something something Austin Aries doesn't like Black...Aries goes heel, Black goes face...Black beats Jacobs in their fued....??????....PROFIT!!!!! Honestly? Black main appeal seems to be he's just a great wrestler in the ROHbot hive mind. He's put on good matches and was elevated for it over the last 2 years. HOWEVER That might be coming to a big haul this month. ROHbots hate false starts for pushes more than any other fan. Thus why Roderick Strong is stuck in Purgatory hell. Black has been feuding with AA but has failed to win the title many times which is something ROHbots hate. He was widely expected to win the title from AA in New York this December, however the match WAS A DISASTER as it was booked to be 1 hour draw broadway...but AA was booked to spend 99% of the match running away from Black instead of wrestling him, you know chickensh!t heel but WAY overdone. The match was openly boo'd and the fans begged for it end. RoH is trying to redo the whole damn thing this month in a rematch, must win back in New York but many feel the match killed Black and that the rematch just won't be accepted by the turned off fans. The fact that it still has an hour time limit and there's three judges (Kenny King, Colt Cabana??? and Jim Cornette NWA style) just adds to these fears. Honestly? If this match doesn't go over Black might just need to F off elsewhere because he'll have been rejected by the ROHbots who once loved him. Which must be annoying for Adam Pearce considering Bryan Danielson put over Black in his fued in ROH.
  3. When a CHIKARA style promotion get's added to the C-Verse, this will be the logo. And since comedy matches have been added this year...it could be done in time for TEW2010
  4. He's Hardcore! He's Hardcore! Reminds me of the Blood sport: ECW's most violent matches DVD cover, blood on the mat and all
  5. Because I'm as free as a bird now... Nedew receives mundo, mundo points for referencing Frankie Boyle
  6. Very clever piece. The skull logo reminds of those anime shows like Bleach, which is refreshing because seeing the word Elite you could have just gone the simple path of making the logo look regal and whatnot. I think the cleverest thing was to include the word Elite in the right eye socket, where its highlighted by not dominating the logo so that it fits comfortably with the entire piece. 8.8/10 This one here has to be your most professional yet. Without a doubt it could easily be used as a real world logo. NJPW wishes they could have this as their logo. Where on earth did you get such a great Lion's Head? Or if you made it yourself absolutely amazing work. 10/10 And Sonfaro, I think you could totally go nWo using this logo. What I mean is that you could split the GCG into two factions a la WCW vs nWo with GCG and BCG..that'd be totally cool. Might try doing it myself.
  7. Just downloaded it! Yeah Kam I think you right on that one for sure: Stars, Ink Splatters and that circle fade effect all in one font? That's a whole lot of donkey work done for people. I know I'll be using it when I get my Photoshop working again.
  8. Well, that's impact down...now lets see how long you can go without using bleeding cowboys That's a little in-joke I have with a graphics artist friend of mine; Once I started taking a look at what fonts are available for download I realised that Graphics artist all have a love affair with impact and bleeding cowboys. I can't tell you how many advertisements and promotional stuff I've seen with those two fonts.
  9. Quoted...for Truth. I mean if I could do what R-Truth is doing at 37, with those corkscrew kicks and all that athleticism plus those chiselled abs I think I'd be pretty happy with myself and so would my employer.
  10. CM Punk is a great example of how smarks think they know the full extent of the business yet have as little information as any other fan. Right now you can believe the reports that CM Punk is in a "doghouse" over a supposed attire incident or you can believe the reports that the WWE are trying to get R-Truth into the main event by feuding him with Punk. It can be logically argued either way but the bottom line no one can say for sure.
  11. For those of you arguing against Sheamus; don't even think about getting next drunk next St. Patrick's day...you're barred from the celebrations
  12. I think that's was a dream feud back when Punk was a face. I seem to remember them having a match on RAW I got all excited about but it was just 6 minutes long so they didn't get to show much. WWE never really does heel vs heel, but personally I think that fine because heels are supposed to be hated so why would a crowd want to see two guys they hate in a match? you know, barring smarks.
  13. WWE Announces Mini-Tournament For Raw Tonight Posted by Larry Csonka on 12.14.2009 The winner to be crowned Superstar of the year… - WWE has announced that on tonight's three hour Raw, the Superstar of the year Slammy will be determined by a mini-tournament. The first round matches are… * The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton * John Cena vs. CM Punk - The two winners will face, with the winner of that match becoming the 2009 WWE Superstar of the year. Cena Vs Taker...it's ON! You heard it here first
  14. I criteria for being a main eventer is someone who can draw fans based purely on their popularity, ie Buy a PPV just to see that guy's match. Alden is right about Yoshi Tatsu on ECW being a Main Eventer. For those bothered to watch ECW he has built up a huge following a people will tune in to ECW just to see his matches, Kofi Kingston right now is redhot and I think he can just about be called a main eventer because people will tune in right now just to see how he comes out in his feud with Orton. Whatever way it ends he will be solidified in that status. Morrison is definitely a main eventer now IMO...I think that run with IC tipped him over the finish line. He's ready and credible to tangle with guys like Batista now, with people believing he could win. Swagger was an ECW main eventer however the transfer to RAW has seen him put on the backburner and he has fallen down the card again, but not so far he can't rise again. It really up to the WWE when they pull the trigger. Legacy are...hmmm, tough. Their position is strange right now...they seemed to be on the cusp after DX and the tension between Ted and Orton...I think it's going to take that tension and a split for Ted to go supernova at least...I'm not so sure about Cody right now...I think a run with the US title would be far better for him.
  15. Personally I seriously doubt it was botched finish...Cena pretty much launched himself off the top rope for the finish. And trust me, if they'd F'd up the finish, Sheamus would not have jumped up and celebrated with the belt so fast. He'd be mortified I'd say, I know I would be if I accidentally took the World's top belt from the face of the WWE. And by the way the reaction of the crowd was great...I've never seen so many WTF faces in all my life. You may scoff, but it really was a shocked silence (and not no reaction like some might claim...how do you not react to a title change) As where this could go...I don't think the it's impossible for Kofi Vs Orton Vs Sheamus for the WWE title John Cena Vs The Undertaker to happen As for the World title...Bastista vs either Mysterio or Morrison I think could be the way to go.
  16. I don't care what any one says... AN IRISH MAN IS YOUR WWE CHAMPION!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAHHH *Head Explodes* I WATCHED HIM WRESTLE INFRONT OF 50 PEOPLE JUST 4 YEARS AGO!!! IRELANDS WINS IRELANDS WINS IRELAND WWWIINNSSSSS!!!!!
  17. How many wrestlers are there in the whole of Ireland? 25 Tops. What are the odds that ANY wrestler will make it to the WWE? Now what are the odds an Irish wrestler makes to the WWE? Now what are the odds that that wrestler actually gets a push in the WWE? That he becomes No one contender? 675 Billion to One Last Night Ireland just offically won. I'm of course have my mind blown by last night's RAW as an Irish guy. However reading the responses to it almost, almost dampened by mood. 90% of the smarks are crying out "Too soon, too soon!" about Sheamus when those same smarks cried out "We need new guys to be pushed" just last week. These are also the same smarks who applauded the way Desmond Wolfe was brought into TNA. God you're fickle. This whole month is totally turning me away from smarks/IWC. There's never any pleasing you. I bet if I asked one of you smarks what was the last thing you marked out for at the time it was shown you have problems naming it. The only thing that seems to you marking is something where the WWE used sheer force of will and did something that got universally over such as Taker-Michaels. It's crazy. I mean look at it this way: Kofi and Sheamus are both getting the push. The IWC wants people who are pushed to be "built" over a time (as to how long there unsure). OK then. Kofi is getting that "being built" push. It's happening over a month or two. Kofi is doing the stuff that IWC say should get him over, i.e. doing everything possible to get in Orton's face without doing the blowoff match. I seem to remember the 3 on 3 match being applauded for clever booking. This is the quick but not too quick "IWC" mention of pushing. Where previously he'd been a midcarder he now was suddenly be put against a Main Eventer and getting the advantage. Sheamus is being considered "the too quick push". He "appeared out of nowhere" according to most of you. Well, true but not all that true. Sheamus has been in the WWE since July. He's feuded with Goldust (lower carder) and then Shelton (midcarder), winning both feuds. It was last month when he showed up on RAW and in the following weeks he killed both Noble and beloved commenter the King Jerry Lawler. Both of these men where put into a one night tournament to decide a new number one contender (something that should be highly praised by the IWC considering, you know, this is what they've DEMANDED) . During this the much acclaimed Orton-Kofi feud which is designed to get Kofi over continued. To the WWE this is excalty what the IWC asked for, because they claim that a "built push" requires time to work. Meanwhile "Too quickly pushed" Sheamus took the big W, followed by nailing up THEE most over man in wrestling today, John Cena (and that's a fact). And here's the punchline: Smarks are crying out that Kofi should have won the tournament. How can smark ask the WWE to have Kofi win? You been asking for this guy to be built, not super-pushed, according to IWC! To have given Kofi the win would have flawed your own logic, it would have been too soon. He hasn't beaten Orton yet, you surely don't believe that should just be skipped over right? But that's not the only punchline: If Sheamus had done what he's already done but over say 7 months instead of six you'd be cheering this. If Sheamus had had just one feud on RAW against a midcarder you'd be calling his push perfect, or at least you should if you counted ECW towards his career. The bottom line is: Sheamus has actually been far more active in the WWE then Kofi in the last few months. Before this feud what was Orton doing? NOTHING (That US reign was really just going though the motions). But suddenly he's put into an Orton feud that could make him. Suddenly he's gaining traction with the fans and you want to hotshot that??? Jesus please, take a look at your own logic. Meanwhile Sheamus has had two solid feuds in his back pocket, one man retired due to him and a beloved announcer KO'd. Both of them won their Survivor Series match and were the final survivor. The Night Kofi destroyed Orton's Car: October 26 The Night Sheamus debuted on RAW: October 26 Ladies and Gentlemen: Kofi and Sheamus have had the exalt same push. It's almost a mirror image. Now stop complaining, because you're getting the new blood you've been demanding for months. Whoo, didn't know that was in me
  18. Mark Cuban does RAW Dec. 7, 2009: Mark Cuban Instead of humoring the NBA Universe with his infinite antics and making authoritative basketball decisions for one night, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban will spend time delegating responsibility to WWE Superstars when he hosts Raw on Dec. 7 from Dallas. - source: 411mania.com MONKEYPOX WAS RIGHT.
  19. Niiice. Yeah being Irish myself I'm probably biased but I just prefer this one myself. But then again two of CWB's Magic Three had Irish last names (Iron Mike Mulligan and Wild Man Sullivan) so there is some kayfabe logic to it. Anyways thanks for doing this. Boom, the perfect merger of the two logos. I think the impact shapes around the font and logo are what definitely make the image what it needs to be, good job.
  20. Once again excellent work, I love it. Nice use of colours, one doesn't jump to that shade of blue when I think hardcore but it works with the theme you've gone for. Very good work, very sharp but perhaps a little more character could be added somehow? Firstly I think a bit of gold or a yellow could add to one. Also maybe the incorporation of something like a Shamrock to represent Boston itself could improve it. There still excellent I'm just giving you my own perspective. My pick for the winner, except I think you should brighten this one's font a little more to highlight the letters.
  21. OH, Please say you'll do a CWB one please! I use CWB in both the CV75 and CV08 so it'd count for both *thumbs up*
  22. Oh probably not considering "they" have gone pretty much out of business now
