  1. <p>I'm still figuring this game out, epecially perfect show theory. I'm still a little fuzzy on the states of the crowd but I'm not clear when the right time to have a big match is. If a match gets the crowd "buzzing" does that mean it has peaked and the crowd should be cooled before having another big match? Or if a match gets a crowd buzzing is it primed for a bigger match?</p><p> </p><p> I've been opening shows with a match that works the crowd, a hot angle, and then my second best match of the night which usually gets the crowd "buzzing." Just wondering if I inserted another match before that one so that the crowd is already buzzing before going into my second best match if that would get a bonus or burnout.</p>
  2. Is there a rule of thumb on when a worker won't re-sign with a company because he's way more popular than the promotion? I had that happen in BCG when I pumped up a guy to A pop in Japan only for him to refuse to sign a new deal with me despite being loyal. Curious what the cut off for that is.

  8. Here are a number of legacy mods from older versions of the game. These are no longer being updated and haven't been for years, but I've converted them over to WMMA 5. Feel free to update the mods if you have the time and interest. I will add to these if I come across more. It begins at UFC 1, and the MMA world unfolds during play through. The return of one night tournaments should make this popular.   9. Based off of one of my WMMA3 mods, Modern Warriors 2009 is a historical real world mod set at an interesting time in MMA. EliteXC, considered by some to be the best hope of providing competition for the UFC, has folded. Big name free agents abound. In North America, Scott Coker is making big moves to take Strikeforce into the national spotlight. Meanwhile the UFC is looking to solidify it's position at the top of the mountain. On the other side of the world, Sengoku and DREAM battle in hopes of recapturing the magic of PRIDE that Japan was known for. This mod is transferred almost directly from WMMA and as such is in need of a lot of work. I don't have time to take it on but this is a community mod project that anyone is welcome to take up.   13. Stealth Z is my favorite when I'm playing perf > pop in Japan. His top line skills are highlighted by a 90+ flashiness skill. He's still very green but will put on killer matches with your top guys from day one.

Say I run the same match five times in pre show. Then I run it on tv. Will that televised match be subject to the repetitive match penalties?</p>
  20. Do you get the repetitive booking penalties for pre-show matches? Was wanting to run a bunch of dark matches with the same prospects against a high psychology wrestler but don't want to blow up the ratings with penalties.
  21. interesting, makes me think it's about his in ring ability. That's comforting since my prospects coming up the ranks are good in the ring.
  22. <p>I'm really into SWF at the moment (and for the first time, too). I made the seemingly mandatory Khoklov hire and was excited about him, but I've yet to get a single good match out of the guy. Is that common?</p><p> </p><p> I started him with a long fued with Skull DeBones and the feud was pretty hot after a month of dueling Menace promos. I decided to try out the Epic agent note and the match bombed. I chalked it up the note and continued the fued. they blew off the feud with a standard singles match and only got a 74 rating despite it being a hot feud. </p><p> </p><p> I thought it might have been DeBones not having much in way of momentum and not being the best worker, so I moved Khoklov into a fued with valiant that I expected would be what catapulted Valiant into the main event and the title scene. That turned out pretty well after they feuded for two months and stacked up a huge array of 100 rated angles. Both had very positive momentum going into the blowoff, Khoklov's popularity was 90 and Valiant's was 82, but the match ended up with like a 75 rating. I'm able to do better than that with upper midcarders in a random tag match. </p><p> </p><p> I did bump up modern to medium to get rid of the penalty to high flying, my product is still Pop > perf but now a little less so. Is that hurting my match ratings? My workers are all getting over but I've only pulled a few 90+ rated matches.</p>
  23. So I have an unscripted angle with Remo (main eventer) and roger cage (midcard). I got the note that Cage did masterful job of improvising with the crowd and a 93 grade, but also got a note that Cage underperformed. What's that about? His overness is much lower than Remo's, does it have to do with that?
  24. How do I get more out of sex appeal in angles? It seems to always give me large penalties for being mostly looks based. Should they be paired with a certain number of talkers or something?
