Astil VG1 was your game, was it Derek that had his team basically block/jail himself for a day to win?

Thank you Just also want to add because I am catching up, the cartwheel thing, I did that when I was Diddy Kong, a mafia Don not a hider... though it may have carried over in to other games. Wasn't VG 1 the game where Derek fake claimed and won? I dont even remember what Deek did I just remember being pissed So, I will propose one more possible scenario, with only 1 kill last night, Scums gotta get some mislynches to win. You could have a Don or a group with a framer just come up with this scheme, get a mislynch wring your hat and scream "investigate me" during the night phase and out an investigator to provide a gamed result and ride that for as long as possible. Very risky but if it works you get a mislynch and townies thinking your good That would be a slick ass scenario too. Not saying that is what this is, so don't think I am pushing to lynch him, but we should definately test him.

Apologies all. I am having some health issues and I'll be seeing my doctor at the hospital tomorrow morning for some tests, based on that I may have to step away from the game. Anyway, wish me luck. As for the game here, I cannot say you are definitively lying, I have something i can do but it isn't mandatory and I did not use it last night. Could all be a misunderstanding or a misreading of the text. Hell, who knows maybe there is a busdriver or something.

lol Not knocking you or the game. Love Lakeside, just saying standards of fairness can vary, and Outlaw has shown his to be steep at times.

Yes i got a SIN vibe from the write up as well. Since I modded that game I'd take that as a compliment but also will start worrying for my life. lol As to that, 2 things. In SIN (ZOMG here we go again) remember we made it a point to show every scum kill in the beginning write up. If there is more than one scum killer or potential killer it isnt shown here. BUT this is Outlaw and hes the same guy who attacked me for complaining about HALF THE PLAYER BASE IN LAKESIDE BEING NON TOWN So Outlaw played SIN, (think it might have been his last mafia game here I dont know for sure) he and/or DJ might have borrowed a lil narrative flourish but he's still the same guy who thinks HALF THE PLAYERBASE BEING NON TOWN is not an issue

I know kayfabe is dead, that is probably why I said I was too insulted to care any more about wrestling, meaning to care to watch. And it isn't as simplistic as one's subjective choice. Breaking the fourth wall is fine for comedy. But you can't get a real emotional investment from someone when you turn around on the screen and give them a wink and tell them don't worry, nothing they are seeing is real. And then lacking that investment, why should a heterosexual male care about two sweaty, half naked men rolling around in a ring pretending to punch each other? I'm not bitter btw. Fortunately for me there is MMA, and the fighters seem to be catching on to the idea of building 'heat' for fights. Hell, there is even reality TV, which of course is as big a work as pro wrestling, but those shows don't give the old 'wink wink nudge nudge' that drove me away from wrestling a decade ago.

The answer is simple, and if you are 34 you are old enough to remember it. Kayfabe. Sure, even with god awful jobber matches, as little kid, I knew it was fake, but since it had the pretext of being legitimate, I could suspend my disbelief enough to give a damn. The very moment wrestling shows had a magic camera backstage that the wrestlers had to pretend they couldn't see, but followed them around and would broadcast their evil plans to sneak attack the baby face not only to the audience, but everyone in the arena and even their target who could hear the audio, yet always managed to fall for it. I was simply too insulted to care any more.
