  1. Avatar! How could I have forgotten about that one? I'm very much looking forward to seeing Avatar as well. And yes, The Hangover is high up on my list also. Haven't gotten around to seein git yet, but I plan to.
  2. Sadly, I haven't seen a film in the theaters in ages. Daybreakers looks interesting, might have to check that one out. I love the new Star Trek film though. I love that the made the Enterprise look absolutely enormous, and I love how they made all the phasers and warp travel and everything feel... real, (to me at least). Only two things I really had any sort of issue with, and both of those would be spoilers, so I'll hold off on posting them here. Overall, gave that a 9/10 over at IMDB - I feel it's a solid 8 at the very least, (I gave it the extra point since I'm a Trekkie, ), and I tend to be pretty harsh in my ratings. I very rarely give a movie a 10. Right now, I'm looking forward to seeing The Road. If it's as good as the book, then it can't go wrong. Wouldn't mind seeing The Book Of Eli either.
  3. Personally, I'm not sure I'm a fan of the whole 'New Beginnings' thing... Announcing a change in command, announcing a new company order, (though they kind of had to announce Hogan's coming in, can't keep a thing like that a secret), seems like it would lift the fans expectations through the roof, and from my experience, these 'New Beginnings' rarely if ever live up to those expectations. Way back in WCW, way back when, you never really heard about it when there was a power change behind the scenes, (at least I didn't). You didn't notice that the product was better or worse until it was. Then came all the changes, the Vinnie Ru Era and all of those, and we know how all that turned out. The festive night monday did bring out the mark in me, and I enjoyed Impact quite a lot as I watched it, but going forward, I can't help but wonder how TNA's gonna fare once the new wears off. Hope some of this makes sense, it sounded so much better in my head.
  4. Just saw this one today on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNtwSF8Hmj8
  5. It was darn good on TV too. Liked that match A LOT. I'd love to see a match like that live though.
  6. I thought Impact was a darn good show... by TNA standards. I've seen better shows, but I found this one exciting and entertaining. Would've been a better idea to have the tag title match though, and (preferably) have Beer Money win the gold, IMO. I taped both shows, but at some point I flipped over to Raw to see what was happening, just in time to see Matt Sydal get piled up by Sheamus, and that pretty much dried up my interest in Raw for the evening. Hopefully I'll get around to watching it eventually though.
  7. Thanks, I very much appreciate it! I was afraid it had slipped through a crack there.
  8. I know it's probably too soon for me to chime in with yet another request, but at the risk of being a pest, I feel oddly compelled to ask for a banner for this bad boy, one of the logos that I like the best. :o:o
  9. And an outstanding banner it is too! FTR, that Black Canvas Grappling logo is just about the coolest logo I've ever seen. Props for that.
  10. Yes, indeed!! Outstanding as always, I appreciate it a lot. Oh, and congrats on the stickie. Sorry I've neglected to mention that thus far.
  11. That is just about perfect!!! That's exactly what I was looking for, and then a little extra. I hadn't even thought about putting the red in there, but it really sets it off. I like.
  12. Now that is just about the coolest banner these old eyes of mine have ever seen!! A thousand, three hundred and nine thank yous!!!!
  13. All these logos are good, but I really like that Babes of Sin City one up there. It really feels like Vegas.
  14. I second this nomination wholeheartedly. Dang, I really love that logo there A LOT! Not trying to step on anyone's toes here, not trying to overstep my bounds in any way, but I took the liberty of editing the color of that just a little bit in GIMP. Think I'll use it as a sort of logo for my own personal universe over here. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/dvdWarrior/th_WPL_alt2.jpg :)
  15. Well, if you don't mind 'repeat requesters', I'd very much appreciate a banner for the WWA logos you've made for me in the past, if it's not too much of a hassle. Beyond that, I could really use a new logo for 'Pro Wrestling MAX' - a sleek, ultra-modern company in my world, who could use a new sleek, ultra-modern logo. Something cool, with my personal favorite black-on-a-white background motif, MAX emphasized, preferably. While they've kept Pro Wrestling in the name, they tend to go by MAX rather than PWMAX. A High-Cult company looking to break into the national scene. I already have a couple of MAX logos, but with TEW2010 waiting just around the corner, I thought the time was right for a fresh start and a new beginning. As always, a thousand apologies if I've requested too much; I always seem to get uber-nervous when I ask for anything. It actually took me over an hour to post this.. :o EDIT: Hate to do it, but since you posted this, I figured I may as well go ahead and slide this one in here as well. OCP - Outlaw Combat Promotions, alternatively known as OCP: Dead or Alive. It's a Gunslinger-styled, (themed doesn't sound right), EXTREMELY hardcore promotion - Cult, Hardcore, and Daredevil all set to Key Feature, with both Intensity and Danger set at the maximum. A true outlaw promotion if ever there was one - Deathmatches (in the vein of Japan's deathmatches) aplenty here. As before, I have a logo for this one already, but I've been hankering for something a little more bloodthirsty, a little more hardcore for it for the new TEW. Like I said, I hate to add yet another request, I'll be fairly close to caught up. :o
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Kamchatka" data-cite="Kamchatka" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="22790" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>However when I do, im thinking it will be under slightly different rules. Im plan to limit it to two logos per person/request (This does not include a banner which I will do for a new promotion from now on without prompting).<p> </p><p> This will allow for people to request "packages". eg. A logo, a tv show and a banner, and will stop the list from getting too slow and crowded (I hope).</p><p> </p><p> If people have any thoughts on this please feel free to post. Im still considering if this is the right way forwards.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Personally, I think that's a fair and equitable arrangement. For the record, though, I love the RGE and the PGHW logos, they're some of the coolest I've seen. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  17. They pulled "Superstars" from the good old days, maybe they could pull out another gem from the past. I'd recommend 'New Generation'. No, it wasn't the name of a show back then, but I think it would be appropriate.
  18. I think you guys might be putting too much thought into this. Sheamus will have a pretty good match (by WWE standards) with John Cena, and then he'll be that much further up the proverbial food chain. Next time he gets a shot, it'll be that much more ... acceptable? Doesn't seem like something ya'll really need to fight over.
  19. I for one love the NWA North America logo. I was an NWA mark when I was a kid, a logo like that might convince me to re-create 'The Ol' Alliance' in my own personal universe.
  20. I'm not sure why exactly, can't quite put my finger on what it is, but I REALLY like this one a lot.
  21. I like it, looks like a cool 'Steve Frehley Original'... or perhaps a Jack Bruce.
  22. If it's not too much trouble, (and if it's been long enough since some belts were done for a promotion of mines), I could really use a few for my WWA promotion... WWA World Heavyweight WWA World Tag Team WWA Jr. Heavyweight Based on this logo here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/dvdWarrior/th_wwa3-1.jpg Many thanks in advance...
  23. A million and one thanks, I really appreciate those a lot! I hadn't changed my mind, btw. Good luck with that monster list though, sounds like 18 tons of work.
  24. Many thanks. That'll come in handy, all those will actually.
  25. Well, from that invisible pack, I didn't see Pro Wrestling MAX... I could definitely use that one. I may have simply overlooked it though, I'll check again.
