  1. Updated just to add the HLR (or 66% pop as they don’t go above that on local shows] was one example. Other settings could be a minimum of x number of fights, getting to at least ‘Weak’ experience, etc. Just give the rookies a chance! And then a tweak would probably be needed to prevent them being booked against experienced stars once they are signed...
  2. Although we can set where companies can hire fighters from in Eras, we can't adjust what level of fighter they can hire. I think it would better represent a dynamic game world if we could also for example say that once beyond the immediate borders (e.g. US, Canada, Mexico; UK, Europe; Europe, UK, Russia, etc) companies can only hire people if they are High Level Regional or above. One of my biggest gripes with the game is that currently companies sign rookies and then throw them to the wolves: it they were restricted to signing overseas fighters at HLR or above then at least fighters should be able to get an amount of local popularity first on a smaller organisation, better replicating the real world, and it should mean that only the best fighters in smaller organisations get picked up by the bigger companies
  3. My favourite moment is a bit random - it’s phrase from a Randy Savage promo where he started a sentence in his own inimitable rasping style: “Well it seems to me, that it is seems to be...” I can’t remember the rest of the promo, before or after this phrase, and haven’t been able to find it online. I think he was answering Gene Okerland, I think it was outside, and I think Elizabeth was there too, but that phrase has stayed with me for thirty-odd years
  4. Because the rankings aim to say who the better fighter is, not who is the most popular. It’s the latter which is how the game decides whether the fighter should be on the prelims or in the main event
  5. After a few turns (it might be after an arrest?) my guys' legit business description vanishes from under his portrait, but the legit business icon remains in place in the bottom left corner, and the pop up still worked saying what the legit business is and the expected earnings range when hovered over However, they don't earn any money, and clicking on the legit business icon only allows you to close it down. If i need to do something to restart the legit business after arrest there probably should be more info, or is this a bug?
  6. On the weekly summary, i had text overrun so that I couldn't read how much money my guy made It was the second report box i think, and followed text along the lines of 'Jesus boss, this identity theft is hard to set up, though I had a rat, but sorted it out and ...' Sorry, i closed the window so don't have the exact wording
  7. <p>I find generally they’re 15-18 months.</p><p> </p><p> If you want to find out when they’re coming back, go to the schedule event page and check fighter availability for dates in the future: fighters currently on hiatus will be listed as available at some point, giving you an indication that they will be back 1-2 months beforehand</p>
  8. Yes <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  9. Would love to see a contract option where if a fighter rose a popularity level, (e.g. went from LLN to MLN) their pay automatically increased to their worth at their new popularity level
  10. <p>The level and accuracy of knowledge of a fighter.</p><p> </p><p> Set it to 0 and you’ll see three attributes, of unknown accuracy, described in terms like average, good, poor, etc</p><p> </p><p> Set it to 10 and you’ll see every attribute perfectly accurate, down to a decimal point % figure</p><p> </p><p> The more the fighter fights in game, the scouting knowledge will increase, and you begin to build a more accurate and more expansive picture of ability</p>
  11. If you go into the editor, there’s an option ‘install a mod’ which wll guide you throught the process
  12. <p>Search fighters, filter by ‘emplyed by “your dev company” ‘, hit ‘shortlist all’</p><p> </p><p> It literally took me longer to write this post than it would to shortlist everybody</p>
  13. It will do for events created after you set your team, but you'll have to manually add the broadcast team to events already set up
  14. Would be a nice touch to make the user's life a little bit easier. I'm going to piggyback on this post to ask if the text where it says if fighters have already fought could also turn red if there is a previous fight for exactly the same reason

  18. <p>Does the AI hiring aggression also affect their attitude on cutting fighters?</p><p> </p><p> I saw that it is by design that AI companies cut fighters more readily: I have the hiring agression on Very Aggressive, and am beginning to wonder if the trigger is being pulled a little too early now.</p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2275015&postcount=11" rel="external nofollow">http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2275015&postcount=11</a></p>

  20. <p>I'm not playing as GAMMA, but have just seen them cut Nathan Chambers after a split decision loss to Jack Humphreys in his first in-game fight <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Thought I'd gauge opinion here before making a thread in the suggestions forum: although I like the idea of the AI being a bit more aggressive in cutting fighters, does this seem a bit OTT?</p>
  21. <p>If you have organic bios, and also add your own text, how would that work?</p><p> </p><p> Does the organic bio just add a new line on the end of the current text, does it wipe the previous text when updating and start again, or does manually editing the bio in essence make it static?</p>
  22. It’s in the eras section of the editor: on the bottom of each era entry there is a tab for hiring restrictions where you can toggle things around
  23. Is there a quick way to change the Use Once field from Yes to No for every free picture?

Will he still be available to use as an alternate on the day if need be?</p>
