  1. I like that they censored it when Tenay tried to name it as the AAA Championship. Doesn't seem very working agreement-y to be doing that...
  2. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="BHK1978" data-cite="BHK1978" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Wait a minute that avatar has never been employed by the WWF and therefore cannot be posted in this thread!<p> </p><p> Now for something that is on topic, why oh why is Booker T. on commentary?</p><p> </p><p> Don't get me wrong I have always been a huge Booker T. fan but some people just do not have the talent to do commentary. 3. I dunno, the crowd seemed pretty into it, and I always kinda figure that the majority of the crowds are of that 98%. As was stated, I don't really think they used too much inside stuff - people in the crowd may not have known about the infamous vanilla midget comment, sure, but I'm not sure if they needed to. It tells them that Nash tried to say Eddie couldn't cut it, and as Punk's the face and Nash is the heel, the crowd would immediately buy that, plus Nash didn't even argue it... and the crowd knows that was a despicable thing to do, so in theory they'd boo him for it even if they weren't previously aware of it.
  4. Because Punk's done the same thing twice. Whereas if Cena ever won MITB I suspect he'd take the Daniel Bryan/RVD approach. Makes sense to me.
  5. Post-match attack - think Del Rio's going to 'injure' Rey and give him some much-needed time off... Hm, or not, don't think it really got that far before Cena made the save.
  6. I think that Tornado DDT was actually botched but it looked damned cool all the same.
  7. Someone on Twitter noted that Otunga and McGuillicutty (dunno if I'm spelling that right) were dressed like the World's Greatest Tag Team when they were coming out. Didn't notice it then, but they're right - Otunga had the sunglasses and the hood like Benjamin, and McGuillicutty had on one of those caps that Haas often wore. Weird...
  8. Funny how the ones holding the titles are probably the weakest team of that bunch...
  9. Yeah, and Kingston/Bourne seem like they'd make a good regular team if they want to go that way. They're both popular, talented faces that aren't doing much singles-wise, so why not?
  10. Announcers seem to be calling for a boost to the tag division. Hm. I've heard rumors that the brass wants to do just that.
  11. Hm. It seems like Vickie may be dropping Dolph for Swagger... or just pairing with him too. Could be interesting.
  12. Swagger had a lot of trouble getting Riley up for that Doctor Bomb. Kinda surprised by this outcome, as Swagger never wins and Riley almost never loses. No idea what the point of using JR's hat is here...
  13. We have five people on commentary right now. Can't help but feel this won't be good...
  14. I feel we're setting up for a whodunnit here - as to who sent that text. The most obvious would be Del Rio, which of course makes me think that it isn't him, so hm...
  15. That had to have been the most comfortable landing of any suplex I've ever seen...
  16. Hm, it may very well be Miz, now that you mention it. He DID say that he'd be making an impact at SSlam. This would certainly be the perfect opportunity to do just that. What would that lead to, though? Would Miz move to SmackDown?
  17. Hm. Sounds like Xian's set up to get some help for himself at SS... For what it's worth, I've heard Edge will be there for SummerSlam Axxess or however that's spelled, but isn't supposed to actually appear on the show...
  18. They could do like how HHH/Taker did earlier in the year and have one of those silent promos that somehow tells everyone everything they need to know...
  19. "I don't have to sleep with the guy and hear him snore, but maybe you do..." ...Tell me he didn't just say that...
  20. I think I'd actually prefer to go that way, then. I know people don't generally like imposter angles and whatnot, but I feel it could work in this setting, and I certainly like that route more than putting a different guy under the mask and trying to say it's the exact same wrestler. I'm all for suspending disbelief, but that's asking a bit much...
  21. Now that I've started thinking of it, I'm really thinking they could push this as an angle. It'd be an easy enough story to do, I think. Find a way to expose Hunico as not being the same guy, have the explanation that Sin Cara is one of the top faces on SmackDown!, and when he got injured, Hunico saw it as the perfect way to springboard himself directly into a big spot on the main roster, so he donned Sin Cara's mask and tried to replace him. Could be a solid enough premise for a feud. Probably not going to happen, though...
  22. Well, here's the new Sin Cara... already noticing little differences. Don't recall Sin Cara doing all that nodding, or really posing as much... Wonder how he feels about this. It must be weird going under someone else's mask and using someone else's name. On the other hand, he's basically coming right in as one of the top faces on SD!. ...Although... I wonder if they might work this into a story. They're noting a weight difference and such - I feel like if they legitimately wanted to replace him, they'd instruct the commentators not to point out ANY changes.
  23. ...Well, he didn't drop out by choice, did he? I wouldn't actually know if that's the case, but if you're not cleared to compete, there's not much you can do about it.
