1. I can appreciate that - not sure if some cues were misses somewhere. But overall I enjoyed the match. It really came across that even Heyman doesn't know how far Reigns can/could go with an attack. The event was predictable, but I felt it was enjoyable - perhaps with the exception of Asuka coming out for Bailey. Given what the finish was I'm glad they didn't waste the spot on someone else, but enough with the goofiness of someone holding two belts.
 2. Something to add - focus on the stories you are telling and don't get bogged down on the grades.
 3. A side not from the PPV - it has taken me this long to finally enjoy Sami Zayn as a character. Let's hope they don't screw this up.
 4. Haven't checked yet, but it might be dependent on the product - whether it calls for managers or not. Not sure as to what is used to determine WHO gets one.

For instance, I just posted the March big show in my diary, but I'm actually booked into August. This does a couple of things for me. One, it allows me to play the game as I want to -- so if I'm in a booking mood and want to play my dynasty, I can. It also allows me to craft any stories that I want to craft ahead of time (for behind the scenes kinds of things, because then I can be a bit ahead and can start thinking of how I want to tell the story, etc)

I save all of the show results in Google Docs. I have one Google Doc that I use for writing the current show in -- it has all of my formatting codes preloaded so I can drop stuff in and manipulate it as needed. I've got a google doc that is just the basic text results form the game copy-and-pasted in. This let's me stay ahead and pull in the show stuff as needed.

I use imgur for all my image hosting. I know a lot of people are doing the PDF thing which I think looks great but I haven't made that jump yet. All of my stuff is written and coded for the forums (and I've had a lot of community help to get there). I had a diary that didn't use pictures at first -- but a couple of community members requested that I use pictures so I made the transition.

I find graphics of some sort help break up the walls of text -- though I don't think pictures are required as long as you use some text formatting to help things stand out (match participants, etc.)

I also say, be patient. It can take a while to find your stride and a lot of new writers seem to give up before they hit that stride.

I also say -- write what you like. If there is a style of wrestling you prefer, you'll enjoy doing a diary of that style. It's a lot harder to stay interested in a product that isn't what you would want to watch.

My other last piece of advice -- message writers of diaries you like. Most community members and diary writers are really nice and helpful and are willing to help out with advice/feedback/whatever you need.

I hope that helps at all. A lot of other people have given some really good advice to!

PDF thing you say? Tell me more.

There are a bunch that will start up at some point, but... is there any way to reactivate a closed company? I don't want to control it.

I know I could do this in the database editor before I start a game, so I'm wondering if there's a way to do it in-game.

Are you able to import new companies mid game? Maybe it would be good to revisit the CVerse XL mod from 16, and bring it in to 20 (companies only). Would require some set up, but could be worth it.

 7. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be possible. Unless you start up as an owner, set up their schedule quickly, and then drop out back to your game.
 8. Starting this with the two India mods, locations, and other TV shows and Yet to Debut. And of course I proceeded to overhire in my initial go. Adding Penny Ramone to Charlie Corner and Stan Manna/Ryan Turner. Hopefully Charlie can catch up...will Penny cause a rift though?
 9. Thanks for the input to you both. hecatomb - I hadn't thought of that dynamic between the 2 dastardly heels or 2 virtuous babyfaces. I'm running a touring company in the US (starting out as Tiny) and I am using my second tour to set up my main event title. The first tour (5 nights) I will use to set up the characters. MikeSc - that was the main thing I was thinking, too. Though it was pointed out to me by someone on here in another thread that settings face vs face doesn't see much of a dip. (In an earlier playthrough I had one of my veterans offer to put over one of my young guys - both faces, and the timeline didn't give me an opportunity to turn either).
 10. For people who run the round robin tournaments, you're bound to get heel vs heel matchups. Do you turn the face/heel divide off during the round robin tournament? Or do you just make sure those matches are not the main event? Presumably you have planned it out so that the finals of the tournament are Face vs Heel.
 11. Was it just me or did the Main Event go a little too long? And not that they are supposed to be Hollywood caliber, but the Usos need to work on their acting. Overall, enjoyed the event. Will be interesting to see how they fix the apparent botch on the Street Profits/Andrade & Garza match. EDIT to add - the storytelling in the final match was really good. From Heyman yelling at Jimmy to throw in the towel, knowing that he doesn't know how far Roman will go with this, and Jimmy's reaction being to protect Jey as opposed to attacking Roman.
 12. The names are so goofy, but I'll go with it. Let's see what happens next.
 13. Am I correct in understanding that NJPW has faces/heels? How does G1 work, if it's a round robin (face/face, heel/heel)?

 15. Thanks! Every time I restarted I was running the same shows, at least with this I can set off in a particular direction.
 16. Hey guys. Hoping for a good starting off point for a game. I have started/stopped /started countless times (DB additions) but finally have what I need. Anyway, brand new company in the Mid South. Start off with just the unemployed folks (Caulfield, Peak, Texas Pete) along with some very green workers, and some people who will likely go on to bigger and better things. Some background - Touring company, with four QAW women and the rest were all unemployed. I use my first tour (5 shows) to set up, then my next tour is a tournament for the belt. Caulfield is my most over worker, but Texas Pete has 2 others with him (hometown guy, but heel). Not sure if it makes sense to put it on either (stamina issues). Any suggestions on initial champ? If you need more of the roster, let me know. (Product is the one that is basically the midpoint of all products...I forget the name currently). Bias is heavily to match grades, but rates almost equally on popularity or performance (e.g. I have gotten high scores with Masked Avatar vs Ozzie Golden as well as Caulfield vs Texas Pete).
 17. Nah, it was pretty prominent on social media. No context to it other than "yeah, that was terrible." I don't have cable so I have no way of watching AEW, so definitely not going to pay to watch one show every so many months. I do like some of what I have read/seen.
 18. He goofed Shockmaster-style. Let your work make them forget. Or not. A "storyline reason" is foolishness. Own it.
 19. The Theranos documentary "The Inventor" is fascinating. Elizabeth Holmes is/was truly pathological.

I’m on the look out for Vengeance Pro Wrestling (owned by Skull DeBones). And possibly some titles too.

Nowhere near best, but I do have some logos for events/companies on a thread (as well as the last few pages of the Custom Graphics Request thread). Take a look, if interested, let me know.

Titles are not in my wheelhouse, but there's a few out there that are fantastic.

 21. I think the latest stats still have the lowered Ashley Keith ones. I'll fix it on my end...thought I was going crazy for a second.
 22. Finn winning was the only result that made sense, even going into last week. He should do well with it.

I'll never understand people who continue watching things they don't like

The majority of the internet?!?!

I know it wasn't aimed at me, just found that funny.

In fact, I agree with the sentiment. I would give AEW a chance but I don't have cable, and not dropping money on a PPV. I will watch clips, follow results, and reviews. From the sounds of it, people are digging Hangman.
