You would only have one more Canadian company to do a diary with once your 4C diary comes out. 4C is not known for angles, will you change your product to have angles?

I often debate doing so when I run them. On the one hand and promotion without angles does not work for me when I am playing the game. However, the angles always bomb and end up killing the show. So I end up stuck as to how to actually run them.

I can't wait to see what you do.

Thanks man, I'm not sure if I will change the product so that I can do angles or not but I probably will more likely than not because my CGC dynasty I did with 2010 was a lot more interesting than my NOTBPW that I did in 08 because of the Angles that I was able to write, so chances are that I will probably change the product around a bit.

It's either going to be MPWF or OLLIE at the moment. Just doing a little more research of each fed and the Mexican wrestling scene and deciding the main characters of the story I want to tell.

I would be interested in reading it because it would be different, not a lot of people are willing to do a dynasty with MPWF so for that reason alone I would read it to see what you were going to do with it because I really like that company.

I myself am planning on doing a dynasty with 4C because it's the only company in Canada that I haven't taken on yet and I've always liked them so I figure why not give them a go. I'm still ironing out the details and I have a back story written up right now it's just a matter of when I will be starting it which will be sometime in late December/Early January of next year. But it's coming soon!

Yes. But he's the best. Other than Cena what active full time wrestler consistently does better mic work than Bryan? Maybe Miz? I would argue his promo skills aren't that great if he can't get over as a babyface.

Miz is just awful in promos, his heel promos weren't bad but they were still repetitive but 100 times better than his face promos to the point that every time he talks I want to cut both of my ears off. Don't get me started on his ring work either because to me he's below average at best. The guy does absolutely nothing for me.

 4. Angle vs. Roode was a great match and one of the best matches I've seen in a long time. Easily a 4 star match, I would have rated it 5 stars but I hated the finish with a passion.
 5. Just wanted to respond to this, this pay per view wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. There were a few good matches and Angle vs. Roode was fantastic minus the weird finish. Having said that Angle vs. Roode was the only match that made me believe I was watching TNA's biggest show of the year. Other than said match though the ppv was average at best.
 6.

Angle vs Roode was really good but I really disliked the finish. It has kind of become Roode's thing (look at his title reign from last year, cage vs Storm match vs Sting) but it just makes matches anti-climatic and for the one match that was actually worthy of being a big match on a big show it was a letdown.

^

This, the match between Roode and Angle was great easily a four star match If I may say so (Not sure if many people would agree) it could be a five star match had it not been for the crappy finish.

This is why I hate TNA, they try to be way to creative with finishes by doing ones that are not clean or finishes that are overbooked. I understand overbooking one finish on a show (namely the main event because that's usually where it should happen) but TNA does it all the time and it really bothers me. They try their best to throw in swerves and overbook every match they can to the point where nobody not even the fans know what is going on.

Heck if I am watching TNA and I see a clean finish, I start to forget what show I am watching because lets face it clean finishes in TNA aren't common place.

 7. I actually was able to watch the show tonight being that I was home and I thought it was a decent show but a TERRIBLE show considering it was the go home show before their biggest pay per view of the year. At least the final angle was good but i'm not sold on BFG on Sunday at all.
 8.

Sooo has Punk vs Ryback in the cell actually been confirmed or is that just in rumor-ville?

Because this really ought to spice things up! Wait a second...what was the main event of the HIAC PPV last year? Ooh...right...Punk vs Ryback in the cell.

Yes it was confirmed on Monday's RAW but unlike last years match it is Ryback and Paul Heyman vs. CM Punk Inside of Hell In a Cell instead of just Ryback vs. Punk inside Hell In a Cell from last year. The match has potential to be good and neither man has a title so unlike how the match last year was booked this one could be way better IMO.

Last Year's match had to be booked to not have Ryback look weak but to still keep the belt on Punk which made for some questionable booking which I didn't mind but the match was ten minutes and just when it was getting good it ended out of nowhere. I think this years match has the potential to be better than their match last year based just on that.

 9.
Another thing that really bothers me when it comes to TNA is there championship title histories mainly their World Title History. I completely understand that a belt or a title is a prop in wrestling but they could at least have some prestige.

Take the World Title for instance In the 11+ years of this company's existance they haven't had a World Champion hold the belt FOR ONE YEAR

Instead they have a bubble gum booking philosophy and when someone gets hot they will give them the title (which makes sense) and then someone else will get hot so they will take the belt off the first guy to give it to the second guy and so on and so on. To the point where I can't ever get behind a TNA World Champion because I know that they wont keep it that long heck the longest reigns have been by Bobby Roode at 9 monthes, 9 Monthes that's not long at all. It just really bothers me.

I understand also that in today's wrestling a lot of people when I present this arguement will give me the whole "Well that's not how things work in today's wrestling" to which I would say well WWE did it with CM Punk having him hold the WWE title for 434 days so why Can't TNA at least have a champion hold their World Title for 365 days?

Rant over I digress.

 10.
I don't get to watch TNA a lot but from what I have recently seen Dixie Carter is a terrible Heel. Her Mic work is absolutely horrendous and she sounds lost half the time. One of the promo's I saw she kept saying things and then looking around the arena for approval like "Is this what I am supposed to do or say?" Dixie Carter is a moron, and she is proving that more and more in the passing weeks.

I will have a front row seat for TNA's death come 2014 because we all know it's coming whether we want to admit it or not.

 11.

I really don't think a Sting/Taker match would be watchable at this point Sting is in better ring shape than Taker but neither are really capable at putting on a classic without the right opponent, it would have been nice 5-10 years ago and would still be a good nostalgic feel to Mania but would be a decent match at best.

It could litterly be the worst match ever but I would still want to see it, the vignettes they could do for those two plus the promos between them would be amazing so for that very reason alone I want to see it happen, and you never know if the match happened it could shock everyone and actually be good.

If it doesn't happen I am going to be one of those people that will always say "What If" because we never got to see those two lock it up, much like Austin vs. Hogan, which was origonally supposed to happen at Wrestlemania 18.

I would like to see Rock vs Cena (again), CM Punk vs Austin, Michaels (if he gets back in shape) vs Bryan, Batista vs Lesnar, Goldberg vs. Ryback, and Cody vs Sandow... At Wrestlemania 30. Hey... IF we are talking dream match's why not?

The reason I quoted you though, is because I am one of the people that have always said I wouldn't want Undertaker to ever have his streak broke, and give that to him when he retires, but.... I Punk had me thinking he was going to get himself that streak, although I do realize that Punk didn't need it at that point, as he has already established himself as a top star. I don't think Undertaker is going to ever lose to a Main Event type, because he has stated that he wants it to matter to whomever he loses too... In other words, he's not looking to "Pass a Torch", but more like "Make A Star" type thing.

I hate to say it but I don't want to see Rock vs. Cena III there is no point in doing it other than to be a rubber match between the two at Wrestlemania. Their first match was above average at best their second was a lot better but I just dont want to see it again, not for a third year in a row.

I agree though now I don't want to see the streak be broken, the only time that I can remember actually wanting it to end like I said earlier was when Michaels faced Taker at Wrestlemania 26.

I have heard rumors that Taker wanted Orton to break the streak at Wrestlemania 21, I for one am glad that it didn't happen but now that Michaels didn't do it nobody should.

 12.
I am real hot and cold when it comes to Goldberg only because he caused one of my favorite wrestlers ever to get a concussion and said wrestler had to retire from the ring before he should have because of it (Bret Hart). However I picked up Goldberg's DVD and I have been watching it and I've come to the conclusion that I would like to see him come back at Wrestlemania to work a match.

The main match I would really want to see at next years wrestlemania would be Undertaker vs. Sting, of course if Sting isn't able to do the match due to negotiations falling through my second choice for a match at Mania would be a match between Undertaker and Goldberg. I think either Taker vs. Sting or Goldberg vs. Taker could draw huge money for the company.

Either match could be a great send off for The Undertaker if he indeed decides to call it a career after Wrestlemania 30, plus both guys could provide a legitimate threat to the strreak something that I feel we haven't had in one of Undertaker's streak matches since WM 26 when he faced Michaels. (Some would debate Punk was probably a threat as well though which I wouldn't disagree with)

 13.

Yea I mean you rarely get true definitive finishes on feuds they plan to continue. And I don't think we've seen the last of Bryan and Orton. I don't think the tainted finish was as much about getting people to watch Raw as it was about trying to get people to buy Hell in the Cell, where they can bill Orton v Bryan inside a cell with NO INTERFERENCE!!@!@!@!(lol).

True that makes a lot of sense but I have heard that WWE is trying something new in trying to use PPV's to get people to watch RAW the next night which doesn't make much sense to me for the reasons I stated in my earlier post.

 14.

Ugh, please remove TNA discussion to the TNA thread, or, even better, nowhere.

I agree 100% with this now I am done referencing TNA in the WWE thread when it HAS ITS OWN THREAD SERIOUSLY GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

Anyways about the reversal of PPV's leading into RAW's I think that is the dumbest idea ever. Why on earth would you use a show like a pay per view that people have to PAY to see and have it be a lead up to the next night's RAW which is a FREE Show? That to me is the dumbest line of thinking ever and I hope that WWE will realize that eventually.

 15.

I mean at least in TNA right now they keep it fresh with the heel boss angle but in WWE it's just stale to me.

Yeah TNA might keep things fresh by having a Heel Boss angle but that entire angle that they are doing with Dixie and AJ Styles was already done by WWE back in 2011 with CM Punk Vince McMahon and Triple H. So if you think TNA is being fresh by steeling a storyline that WWE did two years ago than that's fine whatever. TNA is still absolutely terrible, you couldn't pay me to watch that garbage.

 16.

English vs Cuellari - Squash match against the unsigned QT Marhsall (from ROH). Very much in the Damien Sandow mould.

Interesting, I watched the match and had no idea that Cuellari was Marshall until I just went back and watched it. It actually ran fairly well for me through the first intermission, but it went to hell during the Ricky Marvin/Roderick Strong match and never recovered. Too bad, but I'm not going to hold it against ROH under the circumstances. Safe to say GFL and their "upgraded" technology won't be streaming another ROH show any time soon.

Yeah that's the same for me where it went to crap during the Marvin/Strong match. I was able to see who won the ROH World Title but didn't see the finish or anything just who won the belt.

 18. I shouldn't complain because the show is free tonight but man does this Stream suck. I want to see the tournament finals to see the 19th ROH World Champion crowned but I doubt that I will be able to see it because this stream is so bad.
 19. I am wondering if I was the only one who thought that when Orton grabbed a can of black spraypaint and sprayed No on him that he was going to spray NWO on him? I know that on twitter I wasn't the only one that had that thought as I saw numerous tweets saying that they forgot the W but I thought it was a nice touch. But I am wondering if anyone else thought that when he first sprayed an N on Bryan's chest that it was going to say NWO and not No?
 20.
@Milamber,

I wasn't keen on Parker's gimmick at all while watching the show so I am glad that you felt the same way. Also if they go forward by having Parker continue to Photo bomb Breeze's photos and it leads to a match between the two I am not going to like it. I hated Breeze before this show but hearing him talk really made me dislike him even more. If he makes it to the main roster WWE should pair him with a manager because he's got a horrible speaking voice (maybe done on purpose) which I could get past but he also has terrible delivery in his promos as well.

Sami Zayn vs. Antonio Cesaro 2 out of 3 falls was absolutely amazing but like you said I also wont spoil the result for anyone who wants to watch that match. One of the best matches I have seen from the WWE in a while.

 21. I have heard that Taker's match at WM 30 will be against John Cena for quite some time now. It could change but that's what I have been hearing since before WM 29 was even in the books. Hell with how good Lesnar vs. Punk was last night I would love to see those two wrestle again at WM 30. That way Punk can get his revenge and then maybe have a third match with Brock down the line.
 22.
PRE-SHOW: Dean Ambrose © vs Rob van Dam for the US title

Dean Ambrose retains, RVD could win but there is no reason for him to do so because of his contract type. He needs to help build younger guys while they have him.

Natalya vs Brie Bella

I really don't care about this match at all but I hope Natalya wins.

Cody Rhodes vs Damien Sandow

Cody wins which will set up a match for the Case at Night Of Champions, which I also see Rhodes winning but who knows. When Sandow won the breifcase last month I read something that said that even though he won he won't be the one to cash it in and that Cody will likely recieve those honors.

Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn vs Big E. Langston & AJ Lee

My gut says that Kaitlyn pins AJ to win the match and get a title shot at Night Of Champions for the Diva's Title. Meanwhile Ziggler and Langston can continue their feud without Kaitlyn and AJ.

Kane vs Bray Wyatt in a Ring Of Fire match

It's his debut he has to win. BTW the stipulation for this match is stupid for those of you who don't know it's essentially an inferno match but instead of winning by setting your opponent on fire you win by pinfall or submission. So really the Ring Of Fire stipulation isn't needed at all.

CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar

Rematch at either Survivor Series or The Royal Rumble. They can keep this storyline going without Lesnar on TV.

Christian vs Alberto Del Rio © for the World Heavyweight title

I really hope Christian wins this match and gets a decent run with the title this time.

John Cena © vs Daniel Bryan for the WWE title

I fully expect Bryan to win the title since Cena is injured. What Bryan said at the end of RAW really hit home for me as well as a lot of people I think when he said that he just wants to hold the title once.

I'm still not sure if We have an Orton Cash In Or not I would say no since he said that nobody will see his cash in coming.

 23.

Whitmer was diagnosed with a bruised spinal chord and spinal stenosis. Spinal stenosis is what forced Edge to retire.

That really freaking sucks if he's eventually forced to retire because of this.

 24.

Khali & Natalya vs Big E & AJ - Shame Nattie (and maybe the referee) botched the ending. AJ screaming at Hornswoggle was hilarious.

Nattie didn't have anything to do with that ending, She properly applied the sharpshooter and when AJ tapped out the Referee didn't see it. So from my perspective the botch was all on the referee and not Natalya.

 25.

That was my thought process too. I know Whitmer has done plenty of hardcore and dangerous stuff in the past, but this just seemed too reckless. I've seen the spot done before and it gave me chills.

There's no padding on the apron. There's no give. There's no protection. Not to mention, after you take the move you fall off the ring potentially getting hurt more.

Apparently Bennett is getting heat from fans and stuff on twitter for it. Whitmer is defending him though saying accidents happen.

Accident's happen yeah I get that but if you to actually watch a video of the incident (I saw it on another board that I frequent) You will see that Bennett didn't even try to protect Whitmer at all. So that's all on Bennett and Whitmer shouldn't have defended him IMO but whatever I am just glad that Whitmer ended up being okay.
