  1. Hello, hello. Sorry I've been quiet today, this is a rough day for me personally, there's been no free headspace for this thing. I was wrong about Luke being the Don, but I thought he was claiming Princess and I didn't believe that for a second. So I was right about that bit, he wasn't a Princess, I was just wrong about everything else. I've not been taking notes this game, but during the night phase I skimmed over some things and Archer rose to the top of my suspect list, I was all set to push him today, so I'm glad to see others felt the same way. I have to say, I think I believe him. I might be wrong, but I think he may be the visitor at the door, and I think I might be the weirdo he was talking to. Like I said, I've not been keeping notes, I may have missed something obvious, but I haven't been able to get a read on BHK all game. Vote: BHK1978 Happy to remove my vote if somebody can clear him.

  3. Sorry, princess, I don't believe you. In your professional opinion, does democracy die in darkness? It's definitely Astil who speaks to the poisoner. That could mean he was the target, or it could be a red herring and somebody else in that scene was the target, or maybe he just emits a cloud of toxins and all four people at that door are toast. I'd think Option 1 is most likely, but it would be a good opportunity to test the healer theory on Arrows.
  4. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lukess11" data-cite="lukess11" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>My role title is <strong><span style="color:#0000FF;">Town Aligned Super Saint</span></strong>.</div></blockquote><p> Super Saint? I must have missed that class at Sunday School. And what does a super saint do?</p>
  5. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>He would've got a result for whoever you were swapped with, and believed that result was for you.<p> </p><p> Not not got a result at all.</p></div></blockquote><p> Solid point.</p><p> </p><p> Stop dodging the question, who are you and what do you do?</p>
  6. I had a similar thought, but that's a pretty damn scummy role if you ask me.
  7. So you have an ability, you won't tell us what it is, and you don't go out at night. I'm not buying it, gonna need a bit more than that.
  8. Yeah. Vote: Lukess11 You've been lying low and going unnoticed, Astil found you at home the night before last. I've got a sneaking suspicion that you might be the Don. So you wanted questions... uh... Do you want to just confess and we can get this over with?
  9. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Why? Want to know if I know you targeted me? I do, don't worry.<img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> Seriously? Did you track somebody who targeted you two nights in a row? What are the odds on that?</p><p> </p><p> Wait, does that make Mach the van driver? Because if it does, I think I want more of an explanation of what exactly he does and who he's been doing it to.</p>
  10. I think I've seen (and experienced) it both ways. If you have a mafia with a floating pool of abilities that the Don assigns to his crew each night, then you'll probably lose the kill that night because you've cut the head off the snake and nobody's in charge. Alternatively if each member of the scum team has a set job and function - and based off the two in the graveyard, that certainly seems to be the case here - then with the Hitman gone the team lose their kill that night while they restructure. It's an extra bonus for us for catching the killer. You obviously think you might have prevented a kill last night, but it doesn't sound that way in the write-up. Every other night you have intercepted people out on the street, in the middle of doing other things. This time you have to go to their house. It sounds like they weren't going to be doing anything at all had you not knocked on the door.
  11. So, about this caravan. If Arrows is the "meat in the sandwich", then he - a tracker - is followed by two other trackers, one of whom is being protected. And then they cross paths with the van driver - do we assume that's Arrows' target? Or should we take from it that Arrows has been switched because he continues on, presumably to a different target? I think it's fairly standard that the scum lose their kill for a night when the hitman goes down. There's nothing that sounds like a scum kill attempt. Yeah, that's a weird one. I've got to figure it's the town vig involved, but I have no idea what happened to them. Yeah, what on earth is a Copier? Is there anything on either previous night that we can tie to MLT? Other things: Our poison victim generally spends the night in the woods? Anybody recognise themselves there? Also, what the hell is going on with the phoneline stuff? What is that? Are people passing messages?
  12. I mean, yeah, that's hard to argue with. <strong>Vote: Antithesis</strong>

They just gain the ability to use it themselves.</div></blockquote><p> I always think of a thief as being kind of a hint role cop. Like they find an item that gives a clue as to who/what their target is. But it's a role I've never played, so I could be way off base there.</p><p> </p><p> I really want to know about the guy with the van. Presumably whoever blocked them on N1 knows who they are... unless that was Phoenix, of course.</p><p> </p><p> It's weird to realise that we have two players right now who are the living dead. Somebody has been poisoned - I keep reading that section but it gives away close to zero about the victim's identity - and Crychon will die of grief.</p><p> </p><p> Derek and I were having a nostalgic mafia talk about a week ago and we got talking about the poisoner role we designed for Medical Mafia way back when and how poisoners are a great SK role because they have some insulation from watchers and trackers but nobody ever puts them in games. Then one shows up here. So nice one Outlaw, respect.</p><p> </p><p> Actually, Crychon, are you just going to drop dead tonight? Should we be worried about any side effects? Are you going to explode and destroy a city block or anything?</p><p> </p><p> It sounds like Anti is pretty much bang to rights, absent some other shenanigans. We've still got 48 hours to decide due to Murica-Fest or whatever, so there's plenty time to decide what to do with him.</p>
  14. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Crychon" data-cite="Crychon" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Either a vigilante or another group. Plus a poisoner!<p> </p><p> Or they were very angry with phoenix for some reason. Which... There didn't appear to be a mafia kill last night.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Reads to me like a protector intercepted.</p>

Just got it. Crychon isn't poisoned, he's dying because his sister is gone. It's late, I'm an idiot.</p>
  16. I'm also worried about what will become of Mistaken's sibling now.
  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Crychon" data-cite="Crychon" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This is tonight's poisoning victim.</div></blockquote><p> I clicked we had a poisoner as soon as I saw the "not feeling good all day" line and remembered that collision on N1. I thought last night's poison might have been the "how rude" opening though?</p>
  18. Well, shit. Some people are going to have a lot of explaining to do tomorrow.
  19. Looks like I'm late for the party. I pretty much talked myself into believing Derek this afternoon and I thinking we were making a big mistake... but then those vote shenanigans happened. Now I don't know what to think...
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I mean, if he wants to protect me, thanks? I don't know what I did that he thinks is suspicious. I'm not the guy trying to incite panic via text color, or the guy in a role claim battle with someone who's clearly the one telling the truth about that spot in the write up. Makes so much more sense to be Astil there.<p> </p><p> I could do one better, but I see no need to do so at the moment. I'd also like to request if we have an investigator paying attention, to not waste it on me tonight. Scum likes killing me early, no reason to get a result on a dead person. Or Derek will keep me, and I may not be open to be investigated and waste the night for them entirely.</p></div></blockquote><p> I don't know whether Arrows is trustworthy, but I've got to admire the balls of, "don't investigate me, I'm not worth it." If he's scum, that's a heroically bold play. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I never like lynching Derek, games are more fun with him in them, but Astil makes a strong case. I need to give it more thought whether to lend it my endorsement. I'll be back before deadline.</p>
  21. Never mind <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
