1. Win. That does sound like the worst of all possible outcomes. What are everybody's thoughts on how they'll explain Cena getting his job back? Do you think it'll just be a simple re-hiring by Vince / Steph / Anonymous GM, or something more original?
 2. So the complete opposite of what I just said. Cena fired and the crowd doesn't care? Wow. So how does Cena get his job back then?
 3. So... what? Barrett pins Orton clean, new World Champ, Cena free of Nexus, Cena does happy face?
 4. Not watching it myself - What was the finish to Barrett - Orton?

To draw heat on the heels. Basically the heel group has taken over and is personalizing everything including the belt. So maybe in a few months when a face stables comes up representing TNA they can restore everything back to normal and how it should be. THAT would then make everyone happy that this Bisch Hogan thing is over with.

And this.

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to wrestling belts, but from the look of that it seems clear that it's The Jeff Hardy Belt. I think it may even be his face on the front of it.

As others have said, it seems clear that this is a way to add to the heat on Immortal - they've taken over, they're making it all about them. In the same way that the Impact opening credits are all shots of Immortal, now the World Title is being replaced by a special belt for their hand picked champion. The message obviously being that this isn't Dixie's TNA anymore, it's the Immortal Show.

Not gonna deny, I'd really rather they didn't throw the old belt in the garbage, but I think the plan is probably to replace both with a third new world title down the road. There have been stories for months that the World Title is broken, that the one being carried on TV has actually been a replica. I'd expect that this is a temporary belt for the duration of Jeff's title reign. A stable like Immortal really need to have the world champion, so I'd expect the end of Jeff's reign to coincide with the conclusion of the Immortal plot. Once the new babyface champ is crowned, on the next Impact they'll unveil a whole new TNA World Title. A proper one.

That's what I'd expect anyway. I'll cringe when the old one gets thrown out, but it won't upset me enough to walk away. It's still far from perfect, but the last month of Impact hads been pretty entertaining, and I thought Turning Point was a good show. Some people definitely need to chill. Anyway, just my opinion, make of it what you will.

 6. Not technically WWE news, but the BBC just called Linda McMahon the "former Chief Executive of World Championship Wrestling." I chuckled. Also that she "spent 60 million bucks of her own money on her campaign - which could have been better spent otherwise." Anyway, she's gonna lose. *Sigh of Relief*
 7. Not only was it ridiculous, it missed opportunities to be funny. It would have gone up hugely in my estimation if Vince's response to being told Undertaker had been buried had been "Not again." Just simple things showing a little wit and awareness of past events. Speaking of past events, since when is Vince in a coma? Did I miss the start of this plot or have I just purged it from my memory?
 8. It's gonna be a long night for Taker under that hill. Don't know why you wouldn't end the show with that.
 9. Does anybody else think it makes entirely no sense for a PG company to have a Buried Alive Match? How do you explain that one to a 6 year old? This is really the same problem I have with the Hell in a Cell PPV. The more HIAC matches you hold in which not one person sheds a single drop of blood, the harder it is to sell it as "Satan's Structure" and "the most dangerous, diabolical match ever invented". You don't need to have blood in every match, but you do need it in a HIAC match. Basically, what I'm saying is this: Both the HIAC and Buried Alive stipulations are children of the Attitude Era. That's the climate in which they were created and that's where they made the most sense. Now they are anachronisms. It doesn't make sense to have them in a PG company, and (in the case of HIAC) their PG versions just weaken the credibility of the gimmick. If you want to be PG, fine, but those Attitude Era gimmicks need to be shelved, just put them away and don't use them again until you are willing to do them properly. Just had to get that off my chest.
 10. Don't know where you are, but here in the UK that's what we saw. You didn't miss anything. Apart from last week, the international version seems to have been being edited to include the start of ReAction in order to run until the end of the match.
 11. It's because without knee or elbow pads, he doesn't look like a wrestler, or a figher, he just looks like a scrawny guy in his underwear.
 12.
I remember reading a couple of weeks ago that they planned to get rid of one of the cases pretty quickly because the writers couldn't handle having more than one case in play (one could question why you'd even create two then, but whatever), but that is just taking the piss. That case didn't even make it to the end of the show, it was in play for less than an hour.

On the plus side, it's the SD belt, so his second world title reign will have to last longer than his first.

 13. What The Celt said. I'm just amazed at the idea of a Raw main event featuring only one of the ubiquitous trio of Cena, Orton and Hunter. Seriously, when was the last time a Raw main event didn't feature at least two of those guys? It's a new guy main eventing a PPV for the first time. This can only be a good thing, and something we should all be happy about. Still not gonna watch it, but it opens the door for real change, especially as Kofi also seems to be on his way to the top. It's weird, seems like in the last couple of months something has lit a fire under Vince's ass and made him realise he needs to up his game and build new stars... Hmmm...
