1.
Me and my brother keep a list of our favorite 15 shows that are TV. We update it way too often. This seems like an appropriate place to post it.

1) Community

2) Parks & Recreation

3) Dexter

4) Burn Notice

5) Breaking Bad

6) Chuck

7) Modern Family

8) It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

9) Psych

10) South Park

11) Caprica

12) Friday Night Lights

13) Justified

14) Archer

15) Fringe

Party Down just recently dropped out of that list after being cancelled...24 was always in there but it was mostly just a nostalgia thing. Same can be said with The Office, 30 Rock, and House - which I think are only shows still making new episodes that I had on this list at some point that just got too bad to keep them there.

 2. I don't weigh in on wrestling stuff often...but I just thought I'd say that reading though this it seems like WWE is having fun messing with the online community. I don't give them credit for a lot, but it's only been a matter of time now before they use the internet against us the way we used it against them. We've been able to criticize and scrutinize everything they've done instantly for years and we take some sort of pride in being able to say "I called it" or "I knew it all along" rather than try to enjoy what they are putting out. Now with them having wrestlers post in character on Twitter and posting what could be a fake firing on their website puts an element of kayfabe back in wrestling that has been missing for a long time. I think this is all an elaborate plan and Bryan is still employed, but in the end, I'm just happy they are keeping us guessing. Knowing everything is what took away a lot of wrestling's luster.
 3. I had basically accepted the fact we would get Taylor Mays a few days ago and I was fine with that. A lot of people had been saying it, but maybe he had some other issues we didn't know about since a few teams with safety needs passed on him and he's still on the board.
 4. Denver is the perfect place for Tebow, the high elevation puts him as close to God as possible. Unfunny jokes aside...I'm not a Tebow person...but if you could pick a conference to put him in this would be the one, wouldn't it? Going against these defenses; Chiefs twice, Raiders twice, I don't think the Chargers are as unstoppable as we think, first game @ Jaguars in front of his home fans, home game against Seattle, another against Houston, a game against Arizona. I don't know, the schedule gives him some defenses he should play against and look fine. As a Cowboys fan, I'm excited about Bryant. Also as a Cowboys fan, I don't care about character issues as long as you aren't physically harming people. I think he's got a chance to be the best offensive player in this draft so I don't mind the risk. We needed a lot of things, so I would of been happy with a lot of different people here really.
 5. I live near Jupiter where the Cardinals spring training is and even though I saw less games this year than the past few, they looked good. Rasmus seemed like a fun player to root for and it was neat to see McGwire about twenty feet away from me on the field. Curious if this applies to anyone else. Until about five years ago baseball was my favorite spectators sport. Part of the reason I paid less attention was likely because the Braves lost a lot of their guys I was interested in, but I think there was a bigger factor. The stats, or sabermetrics. I'm not a bonehead when it comes to math, but I'm far from a scholar. I feel like I can't have an intelligent conversation about baseball anymore because I've never immersed myself in the VORPs and such. Does anyone else feel this way? Or has anyone come up with a way for learning these things without it feeling like homework?
 6. Nothing better as a Braves fan than turning my TV right when I get home and watching Heyward's first at bat sail for a home run. It's been awhile since I got chills watching baseball but that crowd was going insane. Very cool moment.
 7. I don't read wrestling rumor sites so I don't know if this is oldish news or not..totally could be. But I stumbled across this so I thought I'd post just in case. http://deadspin.com/5495992/wwe-bans-chairshots-for-mcmahons-senate-run

He was awsome in that part. Granted that is television and not the movies but he was still great as Earl.

Haven't seen enough of it to really make a judgment. I picked up the first season of the DVD on the cheap...but I've had it for like 6 months and haven't watched it.

I know Up is on everybody's top movies of the year list but I found it to be probably the worst thing Pixar's done other than Cars. The montage at the opening was cloyingingly sentimental and the tone was all over the place throughout the film. Pixar's been making movies for adults disguised as kid's movies for awhile, but this was probably the worst offender in terms of some of the adult themes, but then for some reason it also had a bunch of dogs acting like dogs jokes. I know it's going to win best animated feature, but I wouldn't put it in my top 3, with Coraline, Mr. Fox, and the Princess and the Frog in front of it.

Coraline was great, should of switched places with Up in critics eyes this year. And like you said, Up will win best animated, if only because it's included in the top 10 for the best picture category too. If it didn't win animated, it would make these nomination shows look even sillier than they are.

Also I never saw Mumford but Jason Lee in the Incredibles and Dogma is my favorite Jason Lee.

Forgot about Incredibles...I'm bad at remembering voice work. Jason Lee rocks, more of him is needed.

Without giving away anything to those who have not watched the movie, I really liked Shutter Island as well. However, I felt the ending was a tad bit unrealistic.

Oh yeah, forgot about this movie. Without spoiling, I like how it makes you rethink about things you've seen. The score took me out of the movie in the beginning and my mind wandered trying to think two steps ahead of it. That made it somewhat of a disappointment, but I think I just took the movie in wrong.

Hoping I get time to see The Messenger and A Prophet this weekend....

It was on one of my movie channels and it's as good the fourth time as it is the first. Now THAT is Jason Lee's best performance I believe.

Chasing Amy is great...it's one of the few times Affleck has been believable too in my eyes. And it's probably Jason Lee's best performance....Vanilla Sky and Mumford rank in his top 3 too even though they are both lesser parts.

I guess I'll throw up mine from last night.

Up - Pixar is always worth seeing. Notch below Toy Story 1 & 2, Incredibles, and Wall-E but still very good.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs - One of my favorite books as a kid, wasn't as butchered as I thought it would be. I thought the adaption of this was better than Where The Wild Things Are and Fantastic Mr. Fox, two of my other adapted childhood stories from around the same time.

Big Fan - Heard a lot of good things about it, but didn't hit me as much as it did other people I know that have seen it. A part or two rang a little too close to home as a sports fan....but this was probably the best sports movie of last year....anyone know a better one?

 10. Does anyone know of any sites that score Oscar picks? I usually do Oscar pools but I've never done it online...something similar to the way fantasy football pick 'em is set up. Curious if I'm missing out.
 11. Why is being from the Real World a bad thing? I love that Miz was on the Real World and it's one of the reasons why I put up with his catchphrases and such. I almost wished they played off it more, but it's too late now with the direction they have gone with him. No young guys have me super excited. I can't think of anyone who would start facing guys higher on the card and looking competitive against them would make me root for them more. Everyone Wrestling Century listed is just newer guys that are on TV a lot. Miz and Morrison aren't really rookies to this whole thing either anymore...they've been on TV for like six years. But to be positive, I'm going to watch NXT, cheer for Slater, and hope this gives us some sort of fresh perspective on wrestling.
 12. Others have said this so it isn't an original thought, but the story and character arc are pretty similiar to the Wrestler. If you enjoyed that story and like Jeff Bridges you should like Crazy Heart.
 13. Christian/Heath Slater is my favorite combo. What I've seen of Slater I've liked and he's my pick from this group coming up that will find some success....whatever that's worth.
 14. Hmmm...well, my brief current day real mod playing when I sign Danielson I always rename him Daniel "The Global Dragon" Bryanson. So I'm just as bad as the WWE I guess.
 15. Love the APWF logo Kam...the 70's mod is a great one to see some of those get your touch is amazing. Good stuff man.
 16. Has there been any talk of a HHH/Vince vs. Michaels/Hart match at WM? I wouldn't mind seeing Michaels stand up to Vince and side with Bret while HHH heel turns with Vince saying what he did was right for business and all that. Even if it's HHH vs. Michaels with Vince and Bret in opposite corners I'd be interested. I don't keep up much...but I think I'm missing why Michaels has to fight Taker again and HHH needs to get mixed up with Sheamus and the title which I see predicted a bunch.
 17. I liked RAW. The DX/JeriShow match was good and I really liked the last three minutes or so. I haven't seen much of this Kofi/Orton feud or whatever because I just haven't tuned in but I thought Orton had a lot of good dynamics around him even though I still don't like him much. But the continuity with McMahon and Orton being acknowledged and the tension with DiBiase, Rhodes, and Orton made me happy. Bourne getting mic against the World Champion and hitting his finishing move on him....never thought I'd say that sentence but it happened. Then just seeing Bret was awesome. I didn't think he was shoved down our throats, just on screen three times and only once with Michaels and Vince each. Nothing was rushed...I don't know, I really don't have any complaints about what I saw. WWE didn't change it's plans because the internet was guessing what was going to happen like we think what happened with Christian...I don't know. It's early, but it was good, and I'm gonna watch next week...and I guess that's all that matters.
 18. Cena flipped the coin just 15 minutes ago at the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona. Guess he's not on the RAW schedule tonight?
 19. Love the face on the right side of the banner. Not sure if anything goes more hand and hand with NYC than the lady. Nice.
 20. Hey Kam. I’m signed up to do the real draft that’s going to start up soon so I thought I’d ask if you could help with the company logo and banner for it. Company Name : West Virginia ‘Rasslin’ [ WVR ] I imagine blue and gold, just because it meshes with the state, so if that looks good please go with it. Also, not sure if it’s possible to incorporate the “Mountaineer” mascot statue. http://www.wvpics.com/pics/WVUmountaineer.jpg If not, maybe mountain range or a combo of the two. Totally what looks good to you. Thanks for putting the time into doing this. Happy holidays.
 21. I watch Superstars more than any other WWE show out there, but it's just because of the timing. Where I'm at, it's on Sundays at noon. So, early church, to the store for beer and food, then Superstars, then 7 hours of football. Perfect Sunday.
 22. Sheamus is no worse than anybody else that has had the title recently. I watched the opening segement last week with Cuban (because I had to see if he would make a Monkeypox reference ) but tonight is the first night I'm planning on sitting down and watching the show in a few months. Not gonna punish WWE for trying something different when all I've asked for is just that.
 23. Love the PPPW ones as well. Very new age and updated for taking the company past 1997, nice work.
 24. Hey, I'd appreciate if it would be possible to get a banner made for Texas Wrestling League, the CVerse 1975 company. Here's the logo if you don't have it. http://i547.photobucket.com/albums/hh444/joshbradybuddy/TWL.jpg Nothing over the top or too different than that design/color pattern, as I'd rather have it match the logo. Thanks mate and again, I appreciate it.
