  1. Almost three years into a watcher sim on the 2010 mod and glad to see the narratives are working: Edge Retired through injury FCW Transition into NXT
  2. What are you using to tidy them up Fleisch? They look a tonne better
  3. <p><img alt="9IEnH2.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/9IEnH2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Behold the legends (minus Raven and Funk) that will fall to Jay Lethal before a heel turn and eventual match with Sting (hopefully at BFG 2010)</p>
  4. Thanks mate, I'm thinking about doing some more colours using my skin template which should speed things up dramatically.
  5. I found it to be really tedious for something that is for the most part cosmetic (shows as job history and alumni for companies). I used it mainly for organic biographies and was worth it for that but not if you are typing them too imo.
  6. The 2016 version of the mod was never released. I had quit working on it once the 2020 beta was released.
  7. So I had lost a 10 year game for 2016, but managed to find an old upload on mediafire and have a few retrospectively looking choice things in the save like having Ospreay, Jimmy Havoc and Marty Scurll as prominent workers:
  8. New upload https://www.mediafire.com/file/ryxaypyqxe3oyqx/Skin_Layout.psd.rar/file I have also changed some PSD's so they no longer have "placement" pieces to speed up the process and since going through them all to create my own skin there should not be any missing links. Updated New_Game_Player file https://www.mediafire.com/file/jc8yi8iswbhk2tp/New_Game_Player.psd/file
  9. When you copy in the new backgorund to the background layer, you then set up the automation on any skin file as they contain the linked layers. I've probably missed that from the readme as I was trying to keep it concise and not too much of a ramble. I'm planning on trying to record my screen for a quick video and releasing a new skin and updated PSD pack with simpler links tonight as went through the full process today.
  10. The link is still uploading may take a few minutes to finish. Just to show it working, did this in a couple of minutes: Quick In game view (I didn't change the side bars etc):
  11. So this is the tentative release of my Skin Template - PSD Version 1.0, the file size is pretty big (680mb) that is due to it using .psd's rather than other formats. I have also included a readme.doc to try and explain what to do without over complicating things. https://www.mediafire.com/file/ryxaypyqxe3oyqx/Skin_Layout.psd.rar/file Some notes before you start using: - Do not move any Master Files to another location as these are linked by a file path to all skins - Always do full automation in batches unless you have a high spec machine! This will be pulling and updating from two other .PSD files at least for every screen. This will cause slow down on PC's/PS crashes, so find what works best for you! The best order to edit is: - Edit the individual master files - Update the placement files (Master - Do Not Edit - Placement Piece's Folder) - Update a few screens to see if you are happy with the design - Update and save to JPEG I am still working on getting PS to update and convert at the same time rather than a part 1 and 2 of automation. Hopefully this works for you without issues, any issues however, let me know and I can help as best I can!
  12. Just a small update today, but all screens are done and I've tested the download on a different machine to ensure the links still work and they do! Which means that this will definitely work for whoever downloads it. Only issue I have is the overlay box which may need revising. Also I've messaged another member of the forum who is willing to help with a kind of video tutorial which is ace. I am currently up to 68 masters, which is not too bad considering there is one each for the Game World flags and the areas on the map highlight which take up ten on there own and the active areas workers which wouldn't necessarily need changed unless wanted by the person downloading it. All in all a good day for the project.
  13. Definitely will! I currently have a few screens left, pretty much just the main screen website but leaving that for tomorrow as looking at the easiest way to do it. Also even after doing the iceisle skins and the variations, I cannot believe a game in 2020 has such an inconsistent layout. It's sickening how almost every header/box is a different size from one another. Even those with the same width seem to have a pixel or two difference in height and vice versa!
  14. Thanks. its working well for me up to now. I'm 2/3 of the way through the screens so should be done with them by tomorrow as I've been leaving the finicky ones until last. Once that is done, I'll be working on the graphics/sidebar side of things but that shouldn't take long at all hopefully. Then it's a case of creating a write up explaining how to update the PSD's to display changes (as I have no way of recording a tutorial) before release.
  15. So the premise of this project is to create master files, that when edited can then be apply to every background in the game using Photoshops automate and image processing capabilities. What started as primarily 4 main items being edited, the total number of masters now stand at 140 (which includes icons, fonts, background, boxes and headers etc). However considering the average screen has at least two of those masters per file it is aimed at cutting down the time required to make a skins dramatically. Also I hoped this would enable lesser experienced users of PS an avenue to try their hand at making a skin without the eye wrenching task of editing multiple items on over 300 skins themselves. The way it works is by having master files that are in turn linked to every skin.psd in the game and when a master is updated there's an automation set up to refresh every skin file with the change. 16. Been working on a new PSD format Skin making template if anyone would be interested in me sharing? At the moment I have it where you can change 5 seperate PSD files and it will change those items on every background in game.
  17. Thanks for the PSD's was so much easier than trying to reverse engineer the 2016 skins. I'm glad you like them it was my favourite for 16 too. A gold was planned as an unannounced release alongside the green skin but completely ran out of steam. Despite the monotony of making skins in different colours. I do plan to release a new one from scratch and eventually release the PSD's whilst trying a new technique which should help anyone else using Photoshop to make there own. But that wont be for a few weeks.
  18. <p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="AYDwnN.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/AYDwnN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> <a href="https://www.mediafire.com/file/41y07bqg2x66sxp/Iceisle_%28G%29.rar/file" rel="external nofollow"><span style="font-size:18px;">GREEN SKIN RELEASED</span></a></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> So this marks the final Iceisle skin that I'll be adapting over. Enjoy!!</p>
  19. The new thread for this is: http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2431026&postcount=1
  20. PURPLE (VIOLET) SKIN RELEASED One more skin to go and I'll be calling this done until I get the itch to sit and do any more. All skins have now been updated and are mid upload. @BasicThuganomics, thanks man, I might be able to play TEW2020 at some point rather than sitting editing screens/database
