  1. Just a small update for this morning, been running 2 month watchers the last couple of days whilst adding in more worker histories, balancing stats and popularities. I feel like the North American and UK/European companies will be mostly stable and playable by the end of today so will be releasing a Beta by tonight. Some random but accurate news stories from the latest watcher for your perusal:
  2. This has probably been covered elsewhere on the forum, is there a way to stop companies calling up any decent worker from development within the first couple of months?
  3. Right click and the item should turn red meaning it has been selected.
  4. Would cable subscription not be Sky On Demand (Cable Subscription) as opposed to Sky Sports (Cable Commercial) or are you looking for something more specific?
  5. Been running some short term watcher games, latest has got me thinking that WWE and TNA are balanced enough in the way they are set up. However workers need their popularity dropped a few notches as shows are running a bit higher than I'd like (particularly WWE). On a side, original post has been updated with progress.
  6. <p>Mass edit Skill groups?</p><p> Is it possible to add a mass edit option to lower/raise all in ring stats by a specific amount, same for Entertainment, fundamentals etc?</p><p> </p><p> Increase All Primary Skills by...</p><p> Decrease All Physical by...</p><p> </p><p> Also a mass edit for popularity in the same vein, i.e:</p><p> </p><p> Increase All Popularity in USA by...</p><p> Decrease All Popularity in USA by...</p><p> </p><p> Would help out if you feel a specific group of workers/mod is too generous/harsh on skills or popularity. Also would help if you've made a mod, ran tests and find some workers have to much positive or negative stat weights.</p><p> </p><p> Hopefully that makes sense.</p>
  7. Just a small update of what companies are currently planned or in progress : WWE - 90% Complete (Including Worker Employment History) TNA - 90% Complete (Including Worker Employment History) ROH - 90% Complete (Including Worker Employment History) FCW - 90% Complete (Including Worker Employment History) Shimmer - 90% Complete (Including Worker Employment History) IPW UK - 90% Complete (Including Worker Employment History) ASW - 85% Complete WSU - 90% Complete (Including Worker Employment History) NWE (Nu-Wrestling Evolution) - 45% Completed PWG - 45% Completed DG:USA - 45% Completed Eve - Yet to Open - 100% Completed (Workers need employment history) CZW - 45% Completed NCW: Femme Fatales - 70% Completed AAA - 10% Completed JAPW - 10% Completed NOAH - 10% Completed wXw - 10% Completed AJPW - 10% Completed NJPW - 10% Completed Chikara - 10% Completed DG - 10% Completed CMLL - Not Started IWA:MS - Not Started Also the completion rates are based off of many factors, most of which include: Company Profile Company Pop TV Shows Events Titles w/ lineages Roster w/ Correct disposition, Employment history Worker Pop Broadcasters, Broadcaster changes, Media Groups and Company Relationships are complete. Stables and Tag Teams are being added as I add more workers/contracts and I intend on balancing stats at the end whilst worker pop is pretty much where I want it to be so far.
  8. The first of many screenshots, starting small with an outline of WWE and TNA:
  9. I've got AAA about 20% complete and have plans of adding CMLL too. As for Japan there'll be AJPW, NJPW and Dragon Gate.
  10. And surely hire Brutus Beefcake! There definitely should be a fair few females, just looking at current WWE, NXT, AEW and Shimmer there's plenty to be added. Hopefully That was my main reason behind it and how stagnant the WWE was.
  11. "Everybody Has To Earn Their Position In This Company" - Eric Bischoff January 4th, 2010 - Welcome to a mod set to start in January 2010, we are on the verge of a new "Monday Night War" despite this never coming to fruition this mod will have two databases. One of which having TNA starting with Hogan and Bischoff pre January 2010 debuts and the other being with the debuts that took place on Monday 4th January 2010. This mod allows you to book the road to Wrestlemania as WWE, the new direction as TNA and the final days of FCW. Not only this but I plan on fleshing out the yet to debut workers as to have an evolving scene as time goes by. I will be posting screenshots of TEW 2020 as I go just to give updates and previews or feedback from yourselves. |American, Eurozone, Japanese and Mexico - Beta 0.8|
  12. Are you happy for people to use these as a base for converting and updating to be released on here?
  13. The day I try to sign Lance Hoyt in my game and he gets injured for 5 months, glad it wasn't a day later.
  14. I'm in the north east of England and work in the head office of a company that deals with utility supplies and getting people connected to mains supply. 90% of the company are working from home and we have a few people left in the office. Things are constantly changing and have had a few of the reps going to peoples homes who have not declared symptoms (they have multiple opportunities during the process) and are putting people at risk. Now with the social close down I am hoping people start being more honest and stop putting others at risk. A lot of people don't seem to be aware of the risks and are still out and about despite showing symptoms.
  15. Small one but I'd add Cheerleader Melissa to TNA as Raisha Saeed, she debuted Jan 2008

  17. Jun Week 3 2014 A plea to pay the piper… This week we see an interview being hosted by Christy Hemme asking Abyss how he feels about what happened at Slammiversary and whether he was scare at the prospect of no one standing in the way of the himself and the Ferryman. Abyss denied any claims of fear and said he was so confident he has issued an open challenge to anyone for a fight tonight next. vs Abyss vs Oleg Kozlov Next up was Abyss’ open challenge answered by a surprise debut for the former WWE superstar; Vladimir Kozlov going under the name Oleg Kozlov. The towering 6’8 russia looked down on Abyss who stood defiant in the challenge and beat down on his opponent and defeating him in a clear burial using every dirty tactic he could and finally choke slamming him through the announcers table. Abyss made a point of busting Kozlov open during the match and slapping the blood across his opponents chest. The celebrations don’t last long after as after Abyss leaves the ring and starts heading up the ramp, the lights go out and a spotlight illuminates the ring showing The Ferryman standing over the body of Kozlov. “Ohhh Abyssss!” He shouts in a condescending tone. “You’ve forgotten to pay the toll for Oleg!” He proceeds to lay a penny over each eye of Kozlov. “Abyss I have walked the hallowed halls of Valhalla, I have stood on the shoulders of giants, I have looked death in the eye and smiled. But never have I seen such disrespect of the afterlife. Abyss the time has come for you to face your destiny.” Abyss backs up the ramp and he’s stopped in his tracks before turning around and seeing Daffney, half decayed face and all. He turns and heads back to the ring but stands in the centre alone as the Ferryman has vanished like a spectre in the dark. Daffney follows Abyss and grabs the microphone off the canvas. “Abyss why can’t you accept me? Why can’t you just love me for who I am? For what I am? After all you did this to me. Just pay the man your toll and it will all be over!” Daffney shrieks hysterically and holds her hand out to Abyss before dropping two silver coins onto the middle of the ring. Week 4 Jun 2014 A recliner for the Ferryman… This week’s show begins with The Ferryman standing in the centre of rowing boat with Daffney sat next to him scraping her nails into the seat. He proclaims to the crowd that they’ll see him later tonight and challenges anyone to a match in a show of one up –man ship to Abyss. Before the end of the scene the camera zooms in to where Daffney had been scratching revealing “Abyss” etched into the wood with drops of blood dripping down it. vs Ferryman vs Scott Steiner Later in the night we are treat to the return of Scott Steiner to TNA as he awaits the entrance of the Ferryman to answer his challenge. Steiner stood unaware of the predicament he was now in and visibly mouthing “who the [blank] is this guy” once the Ferryman began walking towards the ring. The match was a short one and saw the Ferryman picking up a victory by planting his opponent with his version of the Black Hole Slam. Whilst Steiner lay in the ring, Daffney placed the coins over his eyes. After the match however it was Abyss’ turn to interrupt the celebrations and a video plays on the screen. Rain begins to sound as the camera fades from black to showing a hole in the wall during the night as rain splashes off the dirt soaked floor. Inside the hole shows a barred window and giant man sat in the corner facing the walls rocking to and fro, a candle is the only light within the darkness. “Ferryman do you not see? Do you not know my story? My life? You may think that I am frightened of you and your games. But it’s not true.” Abyss rocks back and forth whilst tearing hair from his scalp, still facing the corner. “You say that you have faced death in the face, walked through Valhalla. But Ferryman, you never stared in to the Abyss. No man has stared into the Abyss and lived to tell the tale but Ferryman, I promise you this. Your time is running out, release Daffney from whatever she is under and you won’t have to face the true Abyss.” The camera zooms slowly into the room and Abyss speaks again… “Ferryman, don’t forget… my toll is mine to pay. Not yours to take…” Abyss turns to the camera and reveals two silver coins where his eyes should be.
  18. <div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Week 2 June – TNA Wrestling Presents: Slammiversary 2014</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="kZRh4S.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/kZRh4S.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><strong>vs</strong><img alt="oMNOBr.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/oMNOBr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Crazzy Steve vs The Ferryman</strong></p><p><strong> First Blood Match</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p></div><p></p><p> On the number 2 Pay per view of the year for TNA we continue the feud between Ferryman against Abyss, Steve and Daffney. Throughout the show we are shown Abyss and Steve looking worried until finally Abyss snaps and whispers into the ear of Crazzy Steve telling him to demand a first blood match against the Ferryman which is confirmed later in the night through TNA showing a graphic and the announcers declaring it so.</p><p> </p><p> We see The Fallen Age enter the match in typical fashion, but once the music stopped and silence befalls the arena; Abyss starts to show his nerves and quickly leaves the ring with Steve.</p><p> </p><p> The lights go out and slow melancholy violin music begins to play through the arena, water begins to pour down at the entrance way only to be seen by the illuminating camera pops. A small shapely figure walks forward out of the darkness, now illuminated in a dim spotlight. The camera cuts to a truly terrified Abyss, the monster looks like a shell of his former self. Vulnerable.</p><p> </p><p> From the shadows walk the Ferryman wearing a grey/green cloak with coins for eyes and face that looks half decayed. This supernatural entity is flanked by a shorter cloaked shape who is intermittently ringing the bell. The shapely figure fully emerges in the light and reveals to be Daffney who has clumps of hair missing from her head, her face a dishevelled look and a dirtied up ring gear. She screams and begins to skip towards the ring followed by The Ferryman as his assistant drifts away in behind him into the darkness. As Daffney skips around the ring towards Abyss he backs up immediately and shuffles through a gap in the barriers and escapes through the crowd into the proverbial dark abyss.</p><p> </p><p> As Abyss makes a beeline out of the arena Steve launches out of the ring with a suicide plancha only to knock the Ferryman back a foot or two and Steve lands head first on the outside. The pair brawl on the outside of the ring for the majority of the match using several different weapons before finally making it into the ring. After repeated chair shots to Crazzy Steve who never really got off the mark The Ferryman plants him with a Black Hole Slam. This is seemingly a sign to Daffney who begins to sound the ring bell to call for the end of the match. </p><p> </p><p> The fans look on in silent bewilderment and a chuckle rattles through the arena. But the Ferryman wasn’t finished with his victim, the lights go out and a spotlight shines on the centre of the ring. Daffney hands two silver coins to the Ferryman before he bites the forehead of Steve causing it to erupt into a bloody mess. Steve collapses to the floor and The Ferryman places two silver coins over his eyes, The Ferrymans slowly looks up at the camera and smiles with crimson dripping to the floor.</p><p> </p><p> The Ferryman leaves the ring and walks up the ramp with Daffney following shortly behind him. Once back from a highlight package, we see EMT’s and a visibly shook Abyss leaving the ring area with Steve. Most importantly was the whiteness of Abyss’ face.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">Authors note, the reason for Abyss being scared of Daffney is purely to delay any physical interaction between him and The Ferryman. In terms of context, this feud is a solid mid card feud and is being used to build the Ferryman character as a supernatural main eventer eventually. For those interested in popularity, Ferryman is up to 31 from 0, Abyss is 61 down from 63 and Steve is up 28 from 25 in America over 3 months</span></p>
  19. <p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="Dcxd7j.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/Dcxd7j.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>For Whom the Bell Tolls...</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Week 2 June 2014 – Go Home Show</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> This week we saw Abyss storming around the backstage demanding a his match be postponed until he can find Daffney but Steve manages to calm the monster and they go out for their tag match against the Wolves (Richards and Edwards). The Fallen Age go on a tear during this match in a display of dominance until images of Abyss choke slamming Daffney through barbed wire in the past, begin flashing on the big screen. This just infuriates the monster who grabs a steel chair and starts swinging at his opponents. Stiff chair shot after stiff unprotected chair shot and the referee calls for the bell. </p><p> Following on from their DQ loss Abyss and Steve stand in the ring and in trademark style they paint themselves in the blood of the fallen enemies. The celebrations and show of force continue for a moment until the light dim and familiar fog rolls in and waves start lapping. But this isn’t like last week, this time three men in brownish black hoods carry the lifeless Daffney who has a rag draped over her face down to the ring on a wooden board, with the camera panning from that to Abyss. Abyss is seen falling to his knees holding his head in disbelief and screaming no at the top of his voice. The hooded ghouls slide the Fallen Age member into the ring, Steve and Abyss crawl over to her and seemingly weep… </p><p> </p><p> “It’s time to pay the toll” Softly whispers down the PA system. “It’s time to pay the toll”</p><p> </p><p> Abyss cowers as if seeing a spectre standing in front of him. A lonely bell tolls and Daffney sits up and slowly grabs the rag on her face and removes it to expose two silver pennies resting over her eyes. She shrieks and starts shouting “Ferryman, take me now! Get him away from me!” </p><p> </p><p> The bell rings again…</p><p> “Steve…I’m taking your toll on Sunday!</p><p> </p><p> The bell rings again…</p><p> Daffney seems to faint and the camera fades to black.</p>
  20. <p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="1rPx7U.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/1rPx7U.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Week 4 May 2014</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong> The Monster Awakens…</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> We open the show with Abyss and Crazzy Steve walking through the back muttering amongst themselves in a foreign tongue mentioning Daffney repeatedly. Clearly concerned for the whereabouts of their manager and friend the two stop and grab the camera. Laughing from behind the camera, Steve films the Monster who starts to speak whilst gnarling his teeth and ripping clumps of hair from his head.</p><p> “Hahaha, you cannot scare the monster. You cannot intimidate the monster and you will not take my Daffney!” </p><p> Abyss continues to writhe at his hair and slap himself across the face trying to shake any doubts from his mind.</p><p> “I’ve banished all my demons from TNA, Raven…Sabu…Hardy…my very own Doctor…” He slaps himself again “The list goes on, there is no man who walks on this earth that can scare the Monster and tonight you are going to see what happens to any MAN that opposes me, opposes the Fallen Age!”</p><p> Abyss stare down the lens of the camera that Steve still holds in a handy cam fashion…</p><p> </p><p> “Daffney don’t fear the Ferryman, fear what Abyss will do to get back to you!”</p><p> Abyss turns and grabs the nearest employee and smashes him through a table, once finished Steve drops the camera before skipping into shot and popping his little red balloon laughing like a mad man.</p><p> </p><p> The following match saw Abyss destroy Doug Williams who had just returned from his bladder laceration at the hands of the Ferryman in a show of force to his enemy. Abyss stands centre of the ring with Steve circling the outside; balloon in hand. The lights go black and the familiar sound of waves is heard in the arena for the Ferryman to appear on the screen.</p><p> </p><p> “Tick tock…It’s almost time to pay the toll.”</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>---</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="UXP3kj.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/UXP3kj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>The Ferryman Demands the Toll</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong> Week 1 Jun 2014</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Another week passes and another victim falls to the monster Abyss who continues to take out his frustrations on anyone who stands before him. This time it’s Eric Young who is beaten and put down with some sickening chair shots. </p><p> </p><p> After the match the arena starts to fill with fog rolling in from the entrance ramp and rain starts to sound through the silent hum of the crowd and the only light that can be seen is the flashes of cameras. Out on the entrance ramp rain pours from the ceiling splashing ferociously back off the floor, from the mist stands the Ferryman with water bouncing off his shoulders and as he raises his arms the lights raise slightly. </p><p> </p><p> In a calm sombre tone the Ferryman begins to speak.</p><p> </p><p> “Abyss, last week I heard you say that no man on this earth can scare the monster. Abyss I am not of this world my dear old friend… I am the transporter of souls, the bridge in the darkness, I am the collector of the toll… I am the Ferryman!”</p><p> </p><p> The Ferryman plucks his silver penny from his right eye and begins to rattle it through his knuckles.</p><p> </p><p> “Abyss…Steve… you may be wondering why me? Why us? Why now? You see I’ve been watching and waiting from the shadows for the time to come. Well my friends the time has finally come that you pay the toll to the Ferryman for the souls you’ve taken.”</p><p> Behind him a video plays through the rain showing Dinero and Elijah Burke being thrown into caskets and the countless victims from monster’s ball, Last rites and hardcore matches over the last twelve years in TNA with the final shot being of Daffney falling prey to a choke slam from Abyss many years before.</p><p> </p><p> “It’s nearly time to pay your debt to afterlife Abyss. Hahaha, it’s nearly time for you to pay the toll of the Ferryman!”</p><p> </p><p> The camera pans to the monster who is sitting in the corner of the ring swaying back and forth riving hair from his head shouting no!</p><p> </p><p> “Until then Abyss. Steve…it’s time to pay YOUR toll”</p><p> </p><p> The Ferryman flips the silver coin and the show cuts to an ad break.</p>
  21. <p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="L1xG86.jpg" data-src="https://snipboard.io/L1xG86.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Row, Row, Row Your Boat…</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> <strong>TNA Impact! Week 4 May 2014</strong></p></div><p></p><p> Following on from a brutal victory over Eric Young; The Fallen Age stand in the centre of the ring; Abyss to the left, Crazzy Steve to the right and Daffney knelt between them laughing and rubbing the blood of their fallen foe across their faces. Clearly proud of the mayhem and destruction they have caused; the three members of TNA’s most despised faction, their smiles would soon be removed from their faces as the arena turns black…</p><p> </p><p> Emptiness fills the arena for a moment until the sound of waves lapping at a rowing boat echoes around a still arena. A video plays showing mist rolling onto a moonlit lake where we see a rowing boat slowing moving closer to the camera.</p><p> </p><p> Closer and closer it rows, until finally the sound of the waves stop and the camera pans quickly into the back of the Ferryman who turns slowly towards it. As he turns we see two sterling silver pennies where his eyes used to be, reflecting in the moonlight. He smiles at the camera before pointing inside the boat and the camera slowly looks inside showing Daffneys lifeless body laying there without her coins before the camera pans back to the Ferryman.</p><p> He turns to the camera laughing; </p><p> “It’s time to pay the Ferryman…”</p><p> </p><p> The camera fades to black before the lights raise to a dull grey in the arena, where we see Abyss and Steve in the ring looking shell shocked whilst two silver pennies spin to a fall in front of them. Around them in the crowd are thousands of people wearing black hoods watching on as the Fallen Age wonder where their third member is.</p>
  22. Episodic Chronicles Part I The Rise of the Ferryman… Abyss // Daffney // Crazzy Steve The Fallen Age vs The Ferryman (FKA Tyler Bateman) Week 1 April – Week 4 May 2014 After running rough shot over the TNA midcard ranks, the Fallen Age consisting of Abyss, Crazzy Steve and Daffney have finally met their match. From spooky videos of pennies spinning on wooden table to the famed debut of the Reaper (Vinny Marseglia) who was destroyed on the first Impact of April 2014 when we would see the debut of the Ferryman under the monika of being the transporter of souls and the end of the short lived Reaper. This was before being attacked by the Fallen Age (Abyss, Crazzy Steve and Daffney), who continued their shenanigans the following week. For the next week to see The Ferryman cause a bladder laceration to the returning Doug Williams. On the next show; Sacrifice 2014 fans saw the Ferryman defeat Rhino after a wild brawl and splitting his head open the hard way. After the match The Ferryman lay two solid silver pennies on the eyes of Rhino and later that night the Fallen Age looked concerned at the prospect of the Ferryman coming for them. Next week on Impact the Fallen Age took business into their own hands and attacked the Ferryman but they weren't able to finish the job before he disappeared into the ring. Author's notes: this will be an episodic series of stories from a 2014 TNA game I have going where I may have promo's, match details, storyline or character progression notes. This is rather than a full show by show dynasty. Comments, critiques and anything else is welcome.
  23. So I'm trying to get back into my longest running game and thinking of starting by recapping my booking from 2016 - 2024. By recapping it monthly in the guise of Paul Heyman (user character and booker). Just a warm up I did a bonus DVD cover release to gauge interest.
