  1. From the Tough Enough contestant write ups: Ken Shamrock much?
  2. I usually give TNA the benefit of the doubt...but seriously?
  3. The cage match was cool. I did not expect the finish.
  4. According to non-spoiler previews of tonight, Daffney is back. Finally something I can get behind.
  5. THE COMPLETE STORY ON THE JEFF HARDY ISSUES BEFORE FINAL RESOLUTION, ALTERNATIVE PLANS, WHY HE WAS ALLOWED TO WRESTLE AND MORE By Mike Johnson on 2010-12-06 01:24:53 As mentioned prior to the TNA Final Resolution PPV, there were forces within the company pushing for TNA champion Jeff Hardy to be sent home from the company and to be stripped of the TNA championship after concern was voiced over Jeff Hardy's condition upon arrival at the PPV. After Hardy met with TNA officials, the decision was made to let Hardy work the show. In speaking to multiple sources after the show, I was told that Hardy claimed his condition was not due to any personal issues but exhaustion from his recent TNA schedule. From what we have been able to piece together, Hardy flew from the Middle East where he had worked the trio of TNA house shows in the U.A.E. this past Wednesday (a 20 hour flight). After landing in Atlanta, Hardy then flew on to North Carolina. I was told Hardy was home just one day (and, as one wrestler pointed out to me, that one day was likely dominated by Hardy's newborn baby) before flying to Michigan to make a personal appearance at a Monster Truck event in Detroit with Jesse Neal and Shannon Moore yesterday. Someone who was in attendance at the event last night noted that Hardy looked exhausted and spoke of how hard his schedule was the last few weeks, as he had been on the road since the day after Thanksgiving. The same person also told me that Hardy was spotted returning to his room fairly early last night. Hardy then flew from Michigan to Orlando earlier Sunday to the TNA PPV. When the decision was made to change plans, word spread like wildfire that Hardy was being sent home due to his condition. However, once Hardy explained his position, management backed off of alternative plans and agreed to let him work the show. One person I spoke to just as the PPV kicked off remarked, "False alarm." Had Hardy been sent home, the plan would have been for Eric Bischoff to announce Hardy was injured on the Middle East tour. The match that would have replaced the main event would have been Matt Morgan vs. Ken Anderson vs. Jeff Jarrett. Since Samoa Joe's contract had expired, he would have been held off the PPV. There's no word on who would have ended up with the championship, but my gut is that Matt Morgan would have ended up with the belt. As I write this, Hardy is scheduled for all of this week's planned Impact tapings.
  6. I wanted more detail on Reaction. But at least they acknowledged events from the past instead of sweeping them under the rug.
  7. Indeed. Anything as long as They doesn't involve Russo or voices in the head.
  8. My biggest hope is Daniels and/or Aries and/or Father Mitchell doing an occult stable. But Bischoff doesn't really tie into that kind of thing, unless Dixie signing the papers was just something to throw people off.
  9. I don't know if anybody's mentioned this, I've been skimming the last few pages, but Abyss called Dixie a glutton. I was hoping later in the show he'd mention sloth or something, with a seven deadly sins tease toward a certain Fallen Angel being a part of They.
  10. I loved Foley/Flair. I was a bit meh over the battle royal, but probably because they burned me out with said Foley/Flair match. Wasn't Dixie's "major change" supposed to be unveiled on the show? A presentation change or something? I somewhat enjoyed The Shore. I've never seen the show that they're referencing.
  11. I could see them turning Pope or Anderson and having them go over Angle in the finals, having them kayfabe end Angle's career.
  12. Was she even used other than the one time on Impact?
  13. Shannon Moore? Really? I was expecting Helms, which wouldn't have made me that excited anyway, but this is even worse. I was disappointed in Morgan/Pope/Anderson. Other than that, I enjoyed it a lot.
  14. Hah, yeah. I wasn't surprised though. UPDATE: Twenty minutes after the initial posts, the official Twitter page of Hulk Hogan has removed the updates saying that Eric Bischoff and he are leaving.
  15. TWO HUGE, REALLY HUGE, NAMES LEAVING TNA By Dave Scherer on 2010-08-11 13:57:24 On the official Twitter page of Hulk Hogan, the following was posted minutes ago: I know you've heard the rumors brothers and they are true. Eric and I are leaving TNA on a mutual basis. I just got out of meetings now. It was really fun but time to move on. TNA has a new leadership coming in. Make sure you Hulkamaniacs still support them. TNA needs the power of Hulkamania to live on brothers. Thank you Dixie and Bob Carter for the wonderful and positive experiences in TNA. Nothing but the best to you guys. Brothers, this isn't the last of me though. You'll be able to see me at "Hulk Hogan & Friends" events on tour soon.
  16. I'm glad Al Snow and Simon Diamond got into the attacking-non-ECW-guys act, and that it wasn't mentioned or specifically shown.
  17. I went to a TNA house show Thursday. I won't write much, as everything was the same as other house shows (backstage pass giveaways, autograph sessions, etc), but here's a few things that stood out to me. I was already a big Nigel/Desmond Wolfe fan, but his selling made my appreciation of him go up several notches. His facial expressions were amazing. LVE was even worse than I knew from TV. Once, she moved back just before getting kicked, the kick missed her face by 3 feet, and she still fell over. Awkwardly. The heels (except Desmond, Beer Money, and AJ) were all mega over. It was bizarre. People were booing Jarrett (no shock there), but going nuts for Anderson. Abyss got very little of a reaction, which was expected based on his vote totals in the ranking system. Right now, I'd say the most over faces other than Hardy and RVD were Ink Inc. Yes, really.
