  1. I've found the best way to handle this is to game the system a bit. Set up several tiny companies, give them enough money to last for a good while but set the size cap to tiny, so they will always be a tiny company. Then use hiring rules to set "only sign unemployed workers". I give them gneric names and basically have then be generic indy companies. So Tristate Wrestling, South West Wrestling, Ontario Wrestling and stuff like that. They just act as an expansion to the built in Indy shows and make it so more workers wrestle more often.
  2. I'm seriously looking forward to this, and the more little tidbits we get about it the more excited i am. Just haven't been able to get into anything else...Can't wait for this!

  4. This is a great idea. I actually did this for my current game, it's a insignificant promotion based out of New England, so I added a bunch of New England Venues for me to run shows on. Some are based on real arenas, some on real cities and some just on general New England things. lol. Feel free to add what you want and skip what doesn't work for you. All are New England Arenas Venue Name: Albion Arena Open Date: 2008 Location: Somerville, MA Venue Size: 750 Description: Formerly some abandoned garages that superstar Boston based rock group Arrowsmiths used to practice in, the place was renovated into a small concert and event hall. Venue Name: Back Bay Center Open Date: 1973 Location: Boston, MA Venue Size: 899 Description: Located in Boston's Historic Back Bay neighborhood, this arena is a popular underground music venue, that has been known to hold an odd wrestling event from time to time. Venue Name: Bangor High School Open Date: 1966 Location: Bangor, Maine Venue Size: 300 Description: The small auditorium of Bangor's High School has held numerous local wrestling shows over the years. Venue Name: Bold's Gym Open Date: 1990 Location: Somerville, MA Venue Size: 250 Description: This Gym is frequently visited by wrestlers when they're in the area. Some of the biggest names in the business have worked out here, and after years of being a popular spot for wrestlers to work out, the owner decided to host some shows in the gym and has continued to do so from time to time. Venue Name: Boston Baked Beans Arena Open Date: 2015 Location: Boston, MA Venue Size: 1155 Description: For better or worse, Boston is known for it's world famous Baked Beans, so why not name a venue after them? Some one did, and what you have is a state of the art mid sized arena that has held many Concerts and MMA events. Wrestling has yet to be held here, but the owners have said they are open to holding wrestling events. Venue Name: Cambridge Armory Open Date: 1968 Location: Cambridge, MA Venue Size: 255 Description: Once a fort used by the colonists during the Revolutionary War, this small venue holds everything from wrestling to weekly Bingo nights. It's parking lot, which is much bigger than a venue this size needs, is frequently used for Drivers Education Classes. Venue Name: Carver Community Center Open Date: 1998 Location: Carver, MA Venue Size: 455 Description: Carver may be most known for it's annual Mid-evil fair, but it also has a pretty passionate wrestling community and the Community Center is where you can find local indy wrestling a few times a month. Venue Name: Combat Zone Arena Open Date: 1969 Location: Boston, MA Venue Size: 666 Description: The Combat Zone used to Boston's "Adult" district, with peep shows and bookstores galore. That has since changed and most of the former Combat Zone is now a part of Boston's China Town. This building is one of the few still standing from back in those days, and has continued to host various events and small conventions. Venue Name: Dunkin' Arena Open Date: 2009 Location: Lowell, MA Venue Size: 2990 Description: New England Runs on Dunkin' and Lowell's Dunkin' Arena is a pretty popular place for concerts and events. Venue Name: Foxborough Center Open Date: 1981 Location: Foxborough, MA Venue Size: 585 Description: If you visit the area you are likely to notice the giant football stadium that New England's pro football team plays in, but travel a few miles to the east and you'll find this small, but well maintained, entertainment complex. Venue Name: Fun Time Amusements Open Date: 1983 Location: Medford, MA Venue Size: 733 Description: Family Arcade during the day, sports bar with billiards tables at night, this place pretty much has it all. From bumper cars to Laser Tag and Bowling. It also has a small arena complex that holds concerts and wrestling events. Venue Name: Hampton Ballroom Open Date: 1971 Location: Hampton Beach, New Hampshire Venue Size: 1000 Description: Located smack in the middle of the popular summer tourist spot of Hampton Beach, this "Ballroom", which is part of the local Casino has held it's share of wrestling events over the years. Venue Name: Hartford Community Arena Open Date: 1988 Location: Hartford, Connecticut Venue Size: 2155 Description: One of the largest small venues in Connecticut, Hartford Community Arena has seen it's share of boxing, MMA and wrestling events held here over the years. ok...lol, I've honestly got a lot more, but don't want to overdue it. If you want me to post more just say so, I gladly will. But for now I hope at least some of these are of use to you.
  5. I know your not accepting Requests right now, but I'm not sure if this would qualify as a request? Any chance (if it's no problem for you) the Rx4 World and Tag titles could be posted as generic versions? Those are some beautiful belts.
  6. With the Team's track record I have no doubt that progress is being made and that it will be amazing when it does release. Just being selfish, lol. I've tried and tried...just can't get into the CVerse. I just have this and London Verse that I can actually get into. So my TEW is basically just sitting there. lol. Oh well, I got NHL 20 and Cities Skylines to help kill the time. STILL Furloughed as a result of COVID.
  7. <p>Was wondering if there was any sort of rough ETA? </p><p> </p><p> Are you hoping for release sometime this year? First half of next year?</p>
  8. <p>There should be a download button/arrow on the top right of the page. if it's already zipped, right clicking on the file you want to download should bring up the download option to.</p><p> </p><p> Although it might be of interest to know that for whatever reason, Firefox has problems with Google Drive. It tends to not work and just refresh the page most of the time. Try Google Chrome if that happens, I've never had an issue with downloading from google drive with google chrome.</p>
  9. The issue with this request is there is no real defined look for a half black/half white person. They can be very light in skin tone or very dark. Halle Berry Alicia Keys Lenny Kravitz Tia Mowry All half black and half white but from purely looking at them they look Black. Actor Daniel Sunjata is half black and half white, but from watching him on Rescue Me I honestly thought he was Hispanic. Meanwhile Actress Jennifer Beals is half/half and looks white. Hell, Rapper Logic is half black and half white and dude is as white as I am. I'm Irish, Scottish and English, so there isn't really a "Half white, Half Black" look...you could make almost any picture fit that description.
  10. Hello Reaper, since requests seem to be open again I thought I'd throw this at ya. A few pages ago you did some great New England Wrestling championships, Loce them and being a New Englander myself (BOSTON BABY, lol) I was wondering you may be able to add to them? I was hoping for a New England Women's and New England Women's Tag Team Championship. If you are able. Thanks, love your titles.
  11. Hey London, was wondering if there was any updates on the progress? Also was curious if you plan to add any sort of Hana tribute? Using that amazing Render you did, maybe a young Hana based wrestler?
  12. It depends on you honestly. If you're new to graphics programs, I would suggest GIMP. I personally don't really like GIMP, but it is a free and a good program to get an idea of graphic design. I like and use Photoshop, but it is not a free program and can run you anywhere from 20-35 bucks a month via the online subscription package. The general idea of the two programs is the same, meaning if you get the hang of one you can generally use the other one. There are differences ofcourse, and mastering one doesn't equal mastering the other, but having knowledge of one helps with using the other. I'd say try the free GIMP, if you like it and find it useful and really want to dive deeper into graphics design, then go for the paid photoshop as it is a more powerful program.
  13. Really looking forward to this, much like SkyWalker said earlier, Thunder Verse and London Verse is pretty much what I played in 2016. Even had a few games where I combined the two worlds...fun but big, lol. Really looking forward to the Expanded Version, as the one minor issue I had with the LondonVerse was it seemed a bit top heavy, I guess would be one way to describe it. Like it was more built around the medium to bigger promotions that already had TV exposure and had already built up a fanbase, then the smaller scene. That's how I remember it anyway, has been a while...I'm really trying to avoid the process of fixing everything up in converting a 2016 mod, so just playing 20 mods for 20. But I do remember I would usually import a few smaller promotions from the Tverse/Cverse (just the promotions, not the rosters) to make it seem like there was more a smaller scene. But really enjoyed the mod, excellent collection of Women in it...Women's Wrestling is how I judge a mod, lol. That's what I normally play.

  15. As previously mentioned, pay close attention to travel costs if you hire people outside your immediate area. If you select a core group of 8 people or so, you could run a single elimination or round robin tournament to crown your first champion. That will take care of the first several weeks, and you can use cheap local talent to fill out the under card. Also, until you get an idea of your finances, run mostly singles matches. I tried to get my tag division off the ground immediately by introducing a bunch of tag teams and running a few tag matches each show, that stuff adds up. My first game I ran two shows my first month, each show was 2 six man tags, two tag team matches and three singles matches. So instead of paying, say 14 people if I had done 7 singles matches, I was paying 20 people for 7 matches. Plus road agents and refs. That's fine if you start yourself off with a ton of money, but if you don't that's a lot of unneeded spending and I lost a good amount of money that first month. So until you know what to expect from your finances, I would keep the shows smallish, avoiding too many multi-person matches.
  16. understandable. It would likely take a lot of time, that's time that could be spent making the mod ready for release so I can play it. Thanks for the reply.
  17. This may not be doable, but I figured I'd float the idea. With the new Stable set up and being able to have Stable specific backgrounds in your promotion, a Thunderverse GIF package would be pretty awesome to have. If possible, of course.
