  1. Hello, looking for some opinions. I've created some new Female wrestlers and want to do a "SHIMMER" like promotion in the Cverse, but the new product system is still a mystery to me and I'm not sure what product would qualify. Some of the Wrestling themed ones seem too demanding in terms of match aims (SHIMMER isn't really a place where car crash or technical masterclass matches happen often) so I'm curious what people think would work for a promotion that does have characters and some sports entertainment aspects, but mainly focuses on the wrestling side of things. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  2. 15 Pounds (Quid) translates to about $18.12. I would be curious how payments would be set up though, if it's PayPal for instance, between the regular 5% fee and the International Transaction Fee that paypal charges for out of country transfers, it would likely run ya about $25 to send him the 15 pounds.
  3. Damn Kam, Forget He-Man, YOU'RE the Master of the Universe. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  4. if you go into your computers options and show filenames you can edit the jpeg to jpg and it won't effect it at all. They are the same format, so just remove the "e" and the game will recognize it.
  5. You said what I meant....just much, much better. 😂
  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="forlan" data-cite="forlan" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47703" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I have to say some great logos here and you do some awesome work. <p> </p><p> I personally feel both the charging and amount charged is against what the nodding community is all about. There are people out there making great logos for free.. charging 15 pound a logo means it costs more than the game to have two logos made. </p><p> </p><p> People have tried monetising for mods and things for the game in the past and it never really took off for very similar reasons. </p><p> </p><p> I appreciate the time etc that goes into making a logo for example but just for someone to play on a game with a logo they like you are essentially asking them to pay you half the cost of the game. </p><p> </p><p> Just my thoughts</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Powerful_Fox" data-cite="Powerful_Fox" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47703" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>With the greatest of respect Kam (I hold your work in the highest regard) I feel charging for logos could set a precedent and lead to a very slippery slope for other logo creators, rednerers or mod makers and take this superb modding community down a route it may not recover from.<p> </p><p> While I have no idea how much time and effort you clearly put into your work and absolutely admire your talent. I feel charging for logos etc. belongs on sites like fiverr not so much in a modding thread on GDS.</p><p> </p><p> I hope this doesnt come across as entitled as I genuinely dont want that to be the case but what makes the GDS modding scene thrive as much as it has is the fact its always been community driven for free by people passionate about the game for other people passionate about the game and has been a driving factor in the TEW series being as popular as it has been.</p><p> </p><p> Again, thank you for all your graft in the logos you've made so far, I can I my speak for myself but you've sparked new life into so many of my games by giving them a fresh coat if paint and if it wasnt for your skin, I wouldnt have been able to play the beta of '20.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I Completely get what both of you are getting at, however at this moment I'm going to respectfully disagree...for now anyway. Reason being that at no point has Kam stated that he will not continue to make free logos for the community. If he completely stops making logos to share with the community, then ok...I agree, but if plans to continue that on top of this, I personally see no issue with it.</p><p> </p><p> Every incarnation of the game Kam makes dozens of free logos for the community, some he makes on his own and some are ideas from others. He makes the logos he wants to makes, the ones that spark an idea immediately. There are dozens, if not more than a hundred, logos that people request that don't get made. Which is to be expected, as all us long time members have seen the sheer number of requests that people make in Kam's threads...I've done it several times myself. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> So if you wanted a logo that didn't really scream "I need to make this" to Kam and he decides to pass and make something else, you can commission for him to make it, if you really want it. Again, if Kam completely stops making logos to share with the community and only uses this thread for sales...I will agree, but if the commission is simply to make the logos he wasn't gonna make anyways, I see no issue with it.</p>
  7. I did the retail to demo and I still have the old render...did you do retail to demo or fresh install?
  8. I'm creating 25-30 rookie women's wrestlers and starting my own tiny Women's promotion. Will give me a chance to really get a feel for the new game (I spent more time modding than playing the demo, lol) until the Thunderverse or LondonVerse are released...then it's game time! lol
  9. Do you have the retail? I had a blank white icon throughout the demo version, but the retail has it's own icon. Both in the folder and taskbar.
  10. Thank you! I saw that there has been some small updates to the Cverse in recent weeks, do you know if the Demo to retail version has the latest version of the CVerse? Or I should download the updates Adam has posted in the tech forum?
  11. I'm gonna agree with the two posters above me, this was held in the U.S. so your roster isn't gonna be as over as if it was Japan. It's no surprise that Moxley was in your highest rated match, he's certainly the most over guy on the card in the States.
  12. I absolutely love that Seeing Red logo. Good job on these.
  13. SMW88, you have no idea how much time you just saved me. Thanks! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  14. Seriously, they all look good but that last one with the veil is amazing!
  15. The Super Bowl actually does ok numbers in Mexico. The 2019 edition was watched by 3.7 million in Mexico. So I'd say is should have some impact. Good luck trying to figure out how to implement the World Cup, lol.
  16. <p>AJ Styles vs Shawn Michaels</p><p> Chris Benoit vs Samoa Joe.</p>
  17. excellent work as always Kam. I was wondering if you still had the png/psd to any of these, especially that amazing JWW logo. That's gonna be my first real game when the stable full version in released and I'd love to be able to slap that logo on event logos and make a few alt color schemes for it.
  18. Damn, that CWWF logo is sick! I figured I'd throw this out there, incase you ever feel up to tackling it. I was wondering if, whenever you feel motivated and interested, you might be willing to do an American Women's Wrestling Federation variation of the CWWF logo? I want to give CWWF an American sister. I know this isn't really a request thread, but I figured no harm in mentioning it. If you're up for it, awesome...if not, no worries.
  19. That's disappointing. The weakness of the women's scene is the biggest reason I've never been able to really get invested in the Cverse. It's stuck in the 90s when it comes to the women. Talent in Japan, and a small group of of real workers elsewhere, but beyond that a bunch of models and strippers who get by on sex appeal. I'll give it a look, hopefully there is some good raw young new talent to atleast get behind, but the women's scene needs some serious attention. I usually have to import a bunch of Thunderverse women before I can even trying getting into a game with a good SHIMMER like promotion.
  20. Extremely hyped for the return of the TVerse. Thanks a ton for bringing it back guys. Looking forward to seeing who the hot new women prospects are that I can build my small women's promotion around.
  21. It's possible in 2016, been a while since I've done it though. I'm pretty sure you want to import gimmicks first, then wrestlers, then promotions, the dojos/teams/relationships etc.
  22. Obviously, as seen by the comments thus far, people are going to feel different about it, but personally I'd LOVE to see a stronger women's presence in the mod. I just feel the point of a historical mod is to take the history that is, and change it. It's likely that anyone who's played your mod has changed canon during play, had people win titles or join promotions they never did in CVerse established history. I say make the mod you want to make, make a young and ready to flourish women's scene in North America, make some deathmatch promotions. Have fun with it, make the mod that you think will provide the best and funnest world to play.
  23. Nice. I get a 90s Tommy Lee Jones vibe out of the first guy.
