  1. It's still super useful! In the editor, if I mark an item for mass edit, then search for the next item that I want to include, I lose the selection mark on the first item. Is there a way, besides scrolling, to mark a few items from a long list for mass edit?
  2. So, this is an actual dream in terms of my ability to analyze the mod, thank you so much! Like, the fact that I can just get an access listing of the CVerse stats to look at how they're distributed is game changing! Can I actually transfer edits I make into the mod file? Or is this just helpful for analyzing the dataset, and changes still need to be made through the editor?

Is that the "Turn To Database" option in the editor?</p><p> </p><p> Thanks!</p>
  4. <p>Is there some secret way to filter by stat in the editor? Trying to balance a worker set and having to go back and forth between a save game and the editor to see how many people fall within a range is getting tedious.</p><p> </p><p> Also not being able to mass edit groups of workers selected by skill is just kinda weird. There's gotta be a way, that I'm missing!</p>
  5. Where do you put the pic you want used when a worker doesn't have a picture?
  6. Figured it out, they can't be a User Character and be listed on the P500.
  7. Hey! So, I'm working on a mod and I'm using the power 500 to get a rough idea how how the game views the workers we're making. One worker just isn't showing up on the list. In his achievements it shows him as winning Veteran Wrestler of the Year at game start, but no place in the 500. I've tried changing his age, contracts, roles and business settings. What else could block a worker from appearing in the P500? His stats are quite high. Thanks!
  8. Hey! The game looks great! The context of this question is that I'm helping my friend with a mod based in the 1930s, so we're looking for things such as the Aerial/Flashiness and Hardcore stats to be downplayed BUT still want the game to function as intended. I'd like clarification on how skills effect the match rating calculation. The Handbook says: Brawling: This is a measure to work a brawl-style match. It is used to calc a worker's in-ring perf in most match types. Puroresu: It is used to calc a worker's in-ring perf in most match types. In most cases it is effectively an 'alternate Brawling' in that the higher of the two values is used in any calc. Technical: It is used to calc a worker's in-ring perf in most match types, but not those that are specifically about brawling or high flying. Aerial: It is used to calc a worker's in-ring performance in most match types. 1) Ok, so, match styles are no longer a thing and are, instead, addressed in match aims (on a side note, having a section on match aims in the handbook would be absolutely awesome! I searched forever, so if I missed it, please tell me where it is!). This means I assume when Brawling says "brawl-style" match, they mean any match which does *not* include the match aims Hardcore, Deathmatch, High Spots, Technical Masterclass, Eye Candy, or Comedy. Is that correct? 2) If the handbook reads that the better of Brawl or Puro is used in most match types, but does not read that the better of Brawl/Technical (for example) is used, then that implies that the better of Brawl/Puro/Technical is not what is used in most match types. Since Tech and Aer are used in most matches, that means it must be either a weighted or non-weighted average of Brawl or Puro + Technical + Aerial (modified by flashiness). How close did I come? This is important because if I make a game world where everybody has an aerial stat of 0-30 then I'm reducing match ratings for everyone if it's an average, where as I'm not if the match rating is based on the wrestler's highest of the three skills.
  9. I only ever used Freestyle Gimmicks anyway, so this changes makes a lot of sense to me. From a game perspective, it only seems to matter if A) They're suited, B) They pulled it off, and C) If it's grown stale. Everything else is roleplay. It sounds great! Will need some kind of pre-named gimmick pack for mod makers though, it would seem, since making a new gimmick for every worker in a database doesn't seem viable.
  10. <p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>A Strange Day In 1933</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <em>In November of 1933 a curious and little understood phenomenon occurred. Two men, both within positions of power in The New Trust of professional wrestling, Jack Curley of New York’s National Wrestling Association and Paul Bowser of Boston’s American Wrestling Association, underwent marked personality changes on the very same day.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Both men began to speak of revolutionizing the business with shorter matches, and more colourful characters. Their accents shifted, they showed a sudden lack of familiarity with their surroundings. People spoke of witchcraft. People spoke of evil spirits. It was as though their body’s had been occupied by consciousnesses not their own.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> While we will never know the truth of what occurred on that fateful day. The wrestling business was never the same.</em></p><p> </p><p> A 1933 Dynasty, using bizzo2k's Birth of The Territories.</p>
  11. Found it, under time remaining it says 3 days. He did not inform me himself at any point. The jerk.
  12. <p>I have a worker signed to a Exclusive PPA agreement. I was just notified that he has signed an exclusive PPA deal with another company. He has not given me notice, and I do not have a note in my personal assistant that he is leaving.</p><p> </p><p> Is he leaving? I need to start jobbing him out asap if he is. I apparently don't understand Exclusive PPAs at all. Can someone let me know if I should be treating him as a leaving talent or just someone that's no longer exclusive.</p>
  13. <p>I promise I used the search function and searched around in game!</p><p> </p><p> How do Regional Battles work? I know that if you're F+ pop in a region that you're eligible for a regional battle.</p><p> </p><p> Does that stop once you reach cult?</p><p> </p><p> Do you have to have a show in that region to be eligible? Can I tactically withdraw from the regional battle by not running a show there? If not, do I automatically finish last in the battle? What if two companies in the regional battle don't hold shows?</p><p> </p><p> Even if someone could tell me where in the game this info is, couldn't find it in player's handbook or size or national battles. Or a link to a thread, thanks!</p>
  14. Just to double check... if you run a B show it doesn't affect your popularity... <em>even for the live crowd in the region you're hosting it in</em>, right?
  15. <p>Hey! This question got lost in the shuffle! Are "Years of service" consecutive years of service or total? As in do they reset every time a contract expires?</p><p> </p><p> So, if I someone worked for a promotion for 2 years, left for six months, then came back for a year, would that be 3 or 1 years of service at that point?</p>

  17. How long can you go without exposure in a region before you start to decline in popularity there?
  18. To be honest I'm not super stoked on the tag teams being gone either, they're def coming back once we're solvent. Step four: Fired my announce team, waste of money if I don't have a broadcaster. Step five: Just in time. I totally forgot.
  19. In older versions you only increased your announcing skill if you were in the "first chair", which is the one to the far left in the announcers screen from your office. That made sense so I doubt it's been changed. Q: If I use the send away option as a Japanese company, do I still have to pay their downside? Thank you!
  20. Ok, so here's the plan: I've kept Okamoto because I am Okamoto! given the reigns early in life because I married Maeda's daughter (whom I decided he has). Step one: We are not arranging travel or hotels for our wrestlers. We can't afford it. Step two: Our two shows a week are only three matches long. We don't need a tag division until we're in the green. Step three: Why are we touring so much? one month on, one month off from here on out. Let's see if we can survive...
