Smasher vs Jesse Tasman Thinking S&M get some momentum back after losing twice in last month God of War vs Elvis Robinson I could see this one going either way as War is seeminglt sliding down the pecking order quite bit but Robinson haven´t yet got wins that would make me think he´s more than undercard talent... I go with God of War simply because I tend to pick more established guys until I see enought evidence to go the other way. Craig Phoenix & Michel Bernard vs Wes Schnorfesst & D-Pod Phoenix looks like the weak link here. Pat Rigsby, Dee Lucketti & Ice Ice Davey vs The Bat Men & Toby Tough Heels look like stronger unit. I kind of have hard time adjusting the idea that these are pretty much seperated shows towards differend audience (so basically anyone watching this wouldn´t know the result of their previous match) as my natural instinct is to divide the wins to make both guys look strong. Mauler vs Jesse Tasman Same logic than woth Smasher vs. Jesse, S&M gets back some of the lost momentum. BEACH Wrestling presents; Inland Stampede (Saturday Week 4 November 2020) Toowoomba Queensland Tag Team Titles: Michel Bernard & Pat Rigsby vs Jesse Tasman & Surfer Dude Lucas They just won the belts, though Bernard & Rigsby probably wouldn´t be a bad pairing to drop the belts eventually. Non-Title: Dee Lucketti vs D-Pod vs Wes Schnorfesst Non-title (again, guessing it non-title just because this ain´t in Sunshine Coast, not because champ is booked to lose but I haven´t fully adjusted my way of thinking just yet) so going with potential challenger getting the win and Wes is more established in my eyes. God of War vs Elvis Robinson Errr... third time the charm? No, still going with War.

Your diary was actually one of the big reasons why I started mine as I have always loved empty database games but felt they wouldn´t work well as diary. Well, then this came along and I learned that it could work just fine. And yeah, it´s over, couldn´t recover the file which is a shame as I was hoping to make that a long one but those things happen. Summer Super Tournament Final- Perry Bryant vs. Daniel Loiselle Surprisingly enough, I have´t had a need to fix my initial thinking so far on this tournament so I still go with Loiselle winning here as Bryant already gets his big moment by just being here. SPW World Title Match- Joe Boone © vs. Levi Andrews Andrews ain´t going to be the one who takes the belt off from Joe. Friedrich Herzog & Leroy Disco vs. Spike Morgan & Nathan Hayes Was bit surprised faces won the last encounter but perhaps heels tie the score here. SPW Women's Title Match- Melinda Bell © vs. Diana Gosselin Thinking Bell is going to be your face for women wrestling for a little while. La Oscuridad vs. Dustin David Oscuridad looks to be taking step forward in terms of his push. David has looked pretty solid on my eyes as well but sounds and looks like he might be slighly overperformed by some of the other later arrivals like Berik, Osciridad and Ishibashi. No Nonsense, Scott Levesque, Masao Kobayashi & Bernie Hughes vs. Double Shot, Austyn Taylor, Danny Cool & Big Z Bit of a coin flip match so could see this one going either way but I do feel that face side is slighly stronger overall. Summer Super Tournament Semi Final- Perry Bryant vs. Tetsuyuki Ishibashi Bryant is the only heel on top 4 so he´s very likely to get into finals but Ishibashi have had great performance in this tournament already and he´s spot at top 4 here marks the first time I start to see him as more than just tag guy. Summer Super Tournament Semi Final- Daniel Loiselle vs. Emilio Suarez Lots of history here and it´s going to be a great match even if it´s face vs. face. I do expect Loiselle to go forward with Boone not giving him a title shot otherwise since that´s sounds like more logical story to me.

That said, I´m usually kind of low build guy who like to figure pecking order before getting things flipped over by new guys (or turns) so probably wouldn´t need to see that many new faces in a year, 1 or 2 a year would likely be enough for me.</em></p>

Well, loooks like my desktop were the game and diary were just broke up and I haven´t been able to get i back up. So unfortunalely, unless I can figure someway to recover both the diary and the game file, this diary will be cut short.

Roster Moves: Redwine decided to walk out from SPW and with my backstage rating being at 48% (and that´s after Redwine walked out, was 45% before that), I decided to see what I could do with that rating. First of all, I checked how many guys there were that could work in SPW. Answer was 7, two who were Herzog and Redwine so they obviously out, leaving 5. Two of them, Anjelo Brune (Agitator) and Joshua Johannes (Troublemaker) had negative attributes for backstage so they out since the goal is to make backstage better not worse. The other three Bailey Rue (stalwart), Delaine Hébert (driven) and Franklin Adams (lively) got signed. On of the three will replace Redwine but I decided to use the other two to replace some bad backstage influence guys in order to get the rating as good as I could. The guys currently causing troubles were Sites, Boone, Durban, Jorgenson, Price, Henry and Monaghan with Sites, Boone and Jorgenson being negative presences and the other four being slightly negative. Henry and Durban and Monaghan and me also had negative relationships. Now, Henry and Boone were safe as they are some of my top guys and I didn´t want to cut Sites either. Monaghan was someone who I considered as managers are always expendable in my books but SPW should have some and there´s no one else so I decided to keep him as well. Of the three left, Price has been here the shortest time and cutting Jorgenson (negative vs. mildly negative) and Durban (has tension with Henry) netted more positive effects so they ended up being cut instead and Price gets to keep his spot at least for now. Hopefully adding three neutral/positive backstage presences and firing two negative ones will help me to get the backstage rating back into neutral territory, there also currently are five other events (backstage happenings in previous two shows, all negative) that affect the morale and with those being short term, if I manage to get into spot were there won´t be 3 - 4 negative events per show I believe things would quickly become more harmonious. New Signings: Bailey Rue Age: 23 Face, Rebel I already talked about Rue a bit when he deputed so won´t go into details here. Basically he´s on of those guys who have most stats at 0 - 45 so don´t look to be anything but a jobber unless proven otherwise. Delaine Hébert Age: 20 Heel, Outbacker Hébert is 100% heel so he gets to be the heel out from these three as I needed two faces to keep sides even. I also wrote about Hébert earlier and this is what I said him back when he debuted: He does have 87 star quality and 53 - 98 on basics and 49 - 94 on selling plus at least some skills on brawling (10 - 55), puroresu (23 - 68) and technical (15 - 60) so looks to have some upside. His consistency (0 - 45) and stamina (4 - 49) are suspects. Time will tell how he does here but starting stats look OK if stamina and consistency have higher end ratings on their scale. There is more space to rise on ranks on my heel side than face so if Hébert perform well he might raise to midcard status quite quickly as my current top six of Suarez, Henry, Andrews, Sites, Grover and Daigneault (last two getting top six spots mainly thanks to their association with Henry and Monaghan at the moment) feels bit weaker than what my top six is on face side and I wouldn´t mind having another reliable performer there. Franklin Adams Age: 19 Face, Dude Adams would be amazing heel (and better heel) but I need a face right now so that what he will be. Looks to have good consistency (55 - 100) and stamina (41 - 86) with technical, aerial and flashiness getting low ends of 31 - 39 and high end being between 76 - 84 with decent mic skills as well. Sadly, star quality is only 24 with psychology and more importantly other fundamental skills all being 0 - 45 which overall makes him bit of a mixed back. Still, if fundamental skills develop nicely I could certainly see him getting higher on ladders but right now he looks to be quite low on pecking order with Boone, Loiselle, Kuroki, Hallam, Summers and Bhakta taking the top six spots leaving pretty much just jobber roles left for rest of the faces. Guys Leaving: Norman Redwine Age: 20 Record: 1 - 0 - 2 Average Match Rating: 12 Unsurprisingly, Redwine decided to walk out after me doing nothing on him being angry. Not a big loss as I didn´t have plans for him but bit of a shame regardless as there were other´s I would rather had cut first. Ray Jorgenson Age: 22 Record: 0 - 0 - 5 Average Match Rating: 17 I kind of hate firing workers this early (especially with not much pool of unsigned workers to fall back in case something goes wrong) but it start to become obvious that I need my backstage rating to get better and Jorgenson was an easy cut to make despite his decent performance. So basically Jorgenson was victim of bad backstage attribute, something that will no doubt be a running theme for me this save. Laurence Durban Age: 23 Record: 0 - 0 - 4 Average Match Rating: 11 Another bad backstage guy gone, bit earlier than I would have liked as I would have preferred to keep Durban eating pins for a while but hopefully this helps my backstage enough to get into territory were I could hold shows without backstage incidents messing rosters morale up. Overall, Durban didn´t seem to have much upside as far as I could see and is unlikely to be seen again unless I pick a company that has signed him before I take the book (in which case he would be likely cut again).

Summer Super Tournament Quarter Final Match- Daniel Loiselle vs. Spike Morgan Still thinking this is Loiselle´s tournament to win so he goes forward Summer Super Tournament Quarter Final & SPW Mid South Title Match- Friedrich Herzog © vs. Perry Bryant Mid South Title being on the line makes me rethink this a bit but I go with my earlier logic that Bryant is the one going forward here. That said, I could easily see being wrong here. Summer Super Tournament Quarter Final Match- Emilio Suarez vs. Squire Albert Berik I´m actually going face vs. face for next round as Loiselle and Suarez are good enough to make it work and there´s lots of history in that match so it would likely be more interesting than Loiselle vs. Berik. Summer Super Tournament Quarter Final Match- Tetsuyuki Ishibashi vs. La Oscuridad This one depends on the Bryant vs. Herzog match and as was the case with that match, I could also see this one going either way as no matter which one from these two would win, the winner has gotten pretty big win as getting into top 4 in tournament this stacked is certainly one of their bigger accomplishments to the date. Joe Boone & Nathan Hayes vs. Levi Andrews & Leroy Disco Boone is the deciding factor here. Ryo Matsuda vs. Diamanta Matsuda haven´t won a whole lot so I pretty much see her as jobber. Bernie Hughes vs. Danny Cool Could go either way but that six man tag in last show makes me think that Hughes might actually have slighly better future in SPW than Cool Dustin David & Melinda Bell vs. Sir Anthony Henry & Diana Gosselin I would still rate Henry over David.

God of War vs Moonchild I do wonder if God of War is slighly sliding down the pecking order now that he don´t look to be the number one contender anymore but I do think he´s going over Moonchild here. Pat Rigsby vs Elvis Robinson Thinking Rigsby gets the win here by virtue of being more established talent. SPW Pay The Piper August 1920 Friday week 3 The Loomis Plantation (South East) Attendance: 150 2 vs. 2 for SPW Tag Team belts & vs. & Nasty Boys (Ricky Summers & Camden Bhakta) vs. Ray Jorgenson & RJ Price In a decent match, Nasty Boys defeated Ray Jorgenson and RJ Price in 8:28 when Camden Bhakta pinned RJ Price with a Fallaway Slam. Nasty Boys win the SPW Tag Team titles. Notes: Jorgenson was off his game, Price was really off his game, bout dragged in the middle with lack of flow being noticiable. Ratings: Summers: 25, Bhakta: 21, Price: 18, Jorgenson: 21 WINNERS: Nasty Boys by pinfall in 8:28 rating: 17 1 vs. 1 vs. Laurence Durban vs. Lonnie London In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Lonnie London defeated Laurence Durban in 5:39 by pinfall with a Martial Arts Kick. As usual, Monaghan does bulk of the talking hyping Henry up and telling audience that he has found new marvels to join his group, with alpha male Marcus Gruver and monstrous Diandre Daigneault collectively known now as World Wonders. He puts Daignault over as real monster who´s almost unstoppable while Gruver will swoon the ladies and beat up their men as he is an alpha male of highest order (according to Monaghan at least). And with these two additions, Monaghan´s Marvels are better than ever and will soon rule SPW. Rating: 24 1 vs. 1 vs. /w. Mayne Certain vs. Sir Anthony Henry /w. Sorley Monaghan In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Sir Anthony Henry defeated Mayne Certain in 7:36 by pinfall. Notes: Certain and Henry had great chemistry Ratings: Certain: 10, Henry: 27 WINNER: Sir Anthony Henry by pinfall in 7:36 Rating: 19 1 vs. 1 SPW Southeastern tournament semi-final vs. Saita Kuroki vs. Craig Sites In a decent match, Saita Kuroki defeated Craig Sites in 5:46 by submission. Notes: - Ratings: Hallam: 28, Andrews: 17 WINNER: Levi Andrews by pinfall in 5:49 Rating: 22 ANGLE: After his match, Andrews cut a short promo on Kuroki, telling him that he ain´t ignorant, just telling the honest truth and the truth is that someone like Kuroki ain´t fit to share a ring with talent like Andrews and next month he will show that by not only beating Kuroki but also getting the SPW Southeastern belt to his waist as it wouldn´t fit to Kuroki anyway. Rating: 37 2 vs. 2 & vs. & Daniel Loiselle & Joe Boone vs. World Wonders (Marcus Gruver & Diandre Daigneault ) In a decent match, Daniel Loiselle and Joe Boone defeated World Wonders in 9:43 when Daniel Loiselle pinned Marcus Gruver. Notes: The match was too short for an important match. Ratings: Loiselle: 28, Boone: 26, Gruver: 15, Daigneault: 12 WINNERS: Daniel Loiselle & Joe Boone by pinfall in 9:43 Rating: 18 Show Rating: 19 Comments: Yet another three backstage happenings this month (they really seem to bile up when your rating ain´t good enough). On first, Henry was openly critical on Summers in-ring style and got some heat from it. I gave Henry stern warning as I felt that wasn´t worth a fine and he was actually happy for once while Summers was indifferent (as of there weren´t any info if he had negative or positive reaction). Monaghan got into fight with a fan this time around (his 4th backstage incident already). I fined him again and he was unhappy about it. The third incident was RJ Price annoying and eventually beating Craig Sites up. Again, I gave him a fine and Sites called it too soft while I got no reaction out from Price. On booking front, the two semi-final matches were the first ones booked on this show and while I could see any from the four to hold this belt in the future, right now I still go with Kuroki and Andrews thanks to their "veteran status" even if Hallam would probably had been the best option in terms of ratings. Next to be booked were the two angles, Levi´s one were there just to continue his feud with Kuroki since they didn´t face each other´s this week while Monagha´s Marvels introduced their new members. I decided to go with Marcus Gruver and Diandre Daigneault over Sites and Marcou as I felt they were slightly better fit to how I picture that stable to be. Main event was the next one to be booked, not the best debut for World Wonders to have them lose but this way I could keep the story going while hopefully rebuild Henry´s momentum a bit plus Gruver and Daigneault weren´t really over enough to win there at any rate (and both Loiselle and Boone have negative momentum right now so not a good time to have them put someone else over either). Oh, and if you wonder why Monaghan didn´t manage them even if they joined his stable... well, errr... I forgot to put Monaghan as their manager and only realized that out before December´s show so for the rest of the year, World Wonders are without manager. It mistakes like these that make me kind of happy I´m not doing backstage segments, brain farts like these would be kind of hard to explain. Me screwing up aside, I also knew I wanted Nasty Boys to win as their record haven´t been great so far and decided to make that a tag title match as they pretty much get the belts by default now with World Wonders being the only other team and they will be tied else were (mainly to play support for Henry on his quest for gold) at the time being. Not the most exiting way to randomly throw tag belts into pretty much the only active team but I do think it´s better than just have the belts be vacant so guess it´s an upgrade. Building tag division takes some time and it ain´t top on my priority list at the moment with some roster changes still likely to happen in near future but hopefully I eventually got one build and give proper showcase for tag belts as well. Meanwhile, Suarez continues to get wins on the under card as he´s bit of an odd position right now, being my number one heel but not being in any storylines and thus being bit buried on the midcard matches at the time being. He will have his chance to shine after current feuds have run their course and meanwhile he will hopefully build some momentum while teaching some skills to under card guys. Also, when booking this match I learned that Bouthillette apparently can´t go over 6 minutes which is a decently big hit against him. Last two matches were the usual "Oh, I have these guys still left" situation. Marcou is the one I rate highest out from the four guys left and Redwhine is still expected to leave so no way I give him wins right now so that match was set. London vs. Durban was bit of a coin flip but I did go with London as I pick no stamina guy over bad backstage influence anytime, but to be honest, neither one ain´t currently expected to stay in the long run. I did consider rewarding Jorgenson for his good mach ratings by giving him a win over Durban and put London into tag title match instead but decided against it, partly because I felt having Jorgenson in that tag title match would slightly elevate Nasty Boys, perhaps not on your eyes since Jorgenson has lost all his matches so far but in game terms as Jorgenson is the most popular guy in that match. Other reason why I decided to leave Jorgenson get another loss is his backstage influence as it has gone from mildly negative to negative and I don´t tolerate bad backstage persons unless I really have to and while Jorgenson is one of the more skilled rookies, he´s not that much better than some of the other´s that it would justify his negative backstage presence in my eyes. Hmm, so now that short match times start to hit me hard. Wonder what caused it now as I don´t recall seeing that penalty earlier? Don´t think it´s card placement with Suarez getting that in undercard match (against guy who was seen as unimportant) so thinking it has to be because one of the guys in a match were over certain threshold, at first I though that it was about one of the guys being a star (since Boone and Suarez were both seen as ones) but that wouldn´t explain Kuroki vs. Sites getting that penalty so I think it happens when one of the guys have 15 or more popularity as that would include Loiselle and Kuroki but exclude everyone else with Henry and Jorgenson being at 14 popularity and not getting the same message. I would assume that threshold would depend on company size and perhaps overall popularity of the roster as well so I will keep an eye open for that but right now, looks like 15 is the magic number for that penalty. Which means we are going to see that penalty a lot as very few guys could go that long without either stamina or psychology (or in most cases both) coming into way. Other than those extra penalties, things did go about as planned, I praised Boone (mostly in hopes to get him out from annoyed morale), Hallam (carried Andrews to great match) and Suarez (is doing great job even without getting a spotlight). Here´s how polarities are looking after this one: Star: Sites: 17, Suarez: 17, Boone: 17, Andrews: 17, Kuroki: 17, Hallam: 17 Well Known: Bhakta: 13, Loiselle: 17, Daigneault: 13, Certain: 14, Jorgenson: 16, Summers: 13, Henry: 16 Recognisable: Bouthillette: 9, Durban: 8, London:12, Gruver: 9, Marcou: 12, Redwine: 8, Price: 9 Well, I did hit that 17 threshold, now we just need to see how long I stay stuck on that one. Loiselle still has chilly momentum (as does Henry) which explains why he ain´t seen as a star. Oddly enough London is having warm momentum after his win despite losing four previous matches on a row while Loiselle is now 6-0 and holds my main belt and still has chilly momentum... Oh well, it is what it is, hopefully Loiselle manages to dig himself out from that hole or otherwise I might need to think about him dropping that belt soon to someone else.

Gruver was a no-brainer, being lively and I do want to have around 20 -24 guys at the minimum (I had 18 writing this with Bouthillette being already signed) so he is added. Out from the other three (Rue and Hébert debuted too late for me to sign them for last show so they weren´t an option at the time I made this decision) Johannes is troublemaker, Price is insecure and Brune is agitator and none of them don´t look to have particularly good stats outside of physical (and Johannes not even there). At the end, I decided to sign Price (as you already know, order is a bit weird here) to get me to 20 guys and pass on Johannes and Brune. As for Rue and Hébert, Rue is stalwart but looks to have poor stats and is hardcore wrestler so not a great fit. I might still sign him just to help backstage but will wait a bit to see how my current roster looks like (and how backstage will shape since there´s not that many penalties right now as it´s actually 61% before July´s show so it changes fast) and wait to see who else might debut in next month or two before making final decision on that. Hébert has driven personality and is 100% heel so one dimensional with neutral backstage presence. He does have 87 star quality and 53 - 98 on basics and 49 - 94 on selling plus at least some skills on brawling (10 - 55), puroresu (23 - 68) and technical (15 - 60) so looks to have some upside. His consistency (0 - 45) and stamina (4 - 49) are suspects but he looks likely to get into the roster when I decide to expand it next time.

I was expecting quick turn but not quite that quick considering who Morgan and Loiselle were facing. Emilio Suarez & The Kuroki Boys vs. Perry Bryant & The Chivalry This feels like a good match to give Bryant and Chivalry win over their current rivals Thomas Appleseed vs. Dragon Lee With Lee´s partner out and Appleseed having two helpers I don´t think Lee´s recent fortune would switch here. SPW Mid South Title Match- Friedrich Herzog © & Levi Andrews vs. Joe Boone & Nathan Hayes With Boone likely keeping the belt (if Herzog or Andrews even get another shot) I think faces are more likely to win here to keep things even. Daniel Loiselle vs. Danny Cool Loiselle have started to pick few losses lately but I´m quite sure he´s not going to lose here. Melinda Bell & Ryo Matsuda vs. Diamanta & Diana Gosselin Heels get a win over champ. Spike Morgan vs. Bernie Hughes Morgan is quickly becoming one of your biggest names and he ain´t dropping the ball here. La Oscuridad & Double Shot vs. Dustin David, Leroy Disco & Scott Levesque Double Shot got kind of big win last show even if it was for storyline reasons and they didn´t really have much to do with the win. First, Norman Redwine annoyed and eventually beat up Jorgenson after fight broke out. I gave Redwine a fine for his troubles and he was very unhappy about it (he´s actually angry now so we see if he makes a record of shortest run in SPW after the show). Monaghan on the other hand came up with hungover so I fined him as well so he now has simmering tension with me. Ricky Summers came out late, that´s not enough for me to give him a fine on the first offense so he received a stern warning which he actually was happy about. On the booking front, the main event was originally supposed to be Boone & Loiselle vs. Herzog & Henry with heels winning via interference from their third member (who would have been either Sites or Daigneaul at that point) but that did change for obvious reasons and I decided to to wait a bit before figuring who will join Henry and Monaghan. I also made the finish DQ finish just to keep the story going since those two area likely going to face each other´s again during this story. Souteastern tournament continued as planned with Sites and Andrews going forward after having two faces go into semi-finals last month. Nasty Boys unfortunately took another loss which won´t help their already bad momentum. Same goes to Henry but I felt like this was the most logical way to continue the feud after Herzog walked away and gave me another month to decided to eventual stable mates. Hopefully I can build Henry back up in coming months. Speaking of Henry´s potential stable mates, I decided to put Daigneault and Gruver into tag match to check their chemistry as I would like the two new guys on that stable to form a tag team while Henry concentrates on singles gold and Daigneault and Gruver are the two I consider for that spot the most at the moment. I decided to put Bouthillette & Durban together to check their chemistry as well since they both have biker gimmicks. Now, I´m not certain I would make them a team anyway as Durban is top of my list on guys likely being cut with bad backstage attitude, poor match ratings and simmering tension with Henry after almost injuring him few shows back. That said, I don´t see reason not to check and loss here shouldn´t hurt them too badly considering their low popularity. Other than that, it was case of giving bit of momentum to Kuroki, Boone and Suarez and then the last four guys were thrown into random tag match and with Hallam being far the best talent out there, he´s team picked the win. </p><p> </p><p> Overall, OK show, it´s quite clear we are still carried by starting seven (minus Andrews and Herzog) but that is to be expected and there is some promise on the computer generated guys already. Hallam is the obvious top performer out from the rest, scoring better in-ring rating than anyone outside big 5 (Suarez, Loiselle, Boone, Henry and Kuroki) even when being way off his game and I should probably already consider him as equal for the big 5. Should, being the key word as I just played with the starting seven too much not to take liking into them and they can ride decently far with their past accomplisments with me as looks to be the case with Levi Andrews here who apparently ain´t going to be much of a factor rating wise in this save but who you can still expect to get upper midcard status mainly thansk to his "veteran" status he has with me. And yes,I know the starting seven are technically rookies as well but I see them as veterans and handle them as such. Anyway, looks like I kind of gone offroad (happens with me all the time in case you haven´t noticed <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) as I was talking about generated guys. Other than Hallam, there were few more with somewhat promising ratings. Jorgenson and Price being two of them but their backstage attitude might hold them back so I´m not willing to push them, at least not yet. Summers and Sites had OK personal ratings, sadly, that lack of flow seemed to hurt the match rating but looks like they could become decent midcard guys at the very least. The more I´m thinking about who to add into Monaghan´s Marvels, the less I want to put Sites on there, mainly because I think he´s best of the options and thus least likely to need to be in that group to get over and with Herzog gone and Andrews not delivering, it´s Sites who I look to become number three heel at the moment and I would rather not have him tied with Henry on that case mainly to give more feud options without needing to start to worry about repeating feuds because someone from same stable has already feuded with the guy recently. Bouthillette and Gruver both had somewhat promising debuts as well (ratings tend to get better match by match at the beginning with popularity rising so I´d assume they would be on lower 20´s before long). On the minus side, Redwine got himself injured and with him already being angry, I´d assume he leaves, not that I care enough to try and stop him. I complimented Henry and Loiselle for the good main event as well as Kuroki for his good match that started the show. After the show, I decided to give Henry and Boone a 1000$ bonus as both of them were unhappy at the time being. Henry is now happy but Boone is still annoyed. Roster Moves: New Signings: Larue Bouthillette Age: 22 Face, Biker Urgh, what it is with these generated names? Bouthillette will be another one that I´m going to get wrong all the time. Anyway, Larue is impactful wrestler and has professional attribute so shouldn´t cause backstage problems. He also looks at least half decent with puroresu on 26 - 71 and technician on 35 - 80 (when ever I see generated guy with two primary skills with low end of the range above 20, I pretty much automatically seem to assume that they would be at least half good, lets just see how often I find myself being wrong on that during this diary). Other than that he´s fundamental skills range from 25 - 70 (consistency) to 39 - 84 (basics) while his stamina is 28 - 73 so hopefully that´s on the higher part from that scale. He also looks to be somewhat solid in the mic but has poor star quality with just 19. He´s also smoker, better as babyface and amazing babyface so I put him on face side even though I kind of wish him to be heel as that´s were I feel I need more help at the moment. Still, I do feel that Amazing babyface is attribute that should not be ignored so face he is. Marcus Gruver Age: 21 Heel, Alpha Male Gruver is another impactful wrestler with Puroresu (19 - 64) and technical (22 - 67) looking bit worse than with Bouthillette. Gruver is also better babyface than heel but he´s playing heel for now since I need new ones more than faces. Grover is very consistent (55 - 100) and has a solid stamina (45 - 90) with decent star quality (61) and at least some mic skills so he at least looks half decent and as lively personality which always help when I´m booking. He also becomes another person who I would consider to add into Monaghan´s Marvels. RJ Price Age: 18 Heel, Rebel Price is insecure and don´t seem to have much upside in terms of stats outside of physical abilities and brawling looking decent with 23 - 68. Initially I´m penciling him as jobber but as is the case with anyone, put up enough good ratings and I´m sure to change my opinion. Guys leaving: Friedrich Herzog Age: 35 Match history: 3 - 0 - 1 Average match rating: 23 Yep, he walked away from SPW so that just happened. In terms of in-ring skills, losing Herzog was a big hit for me but in terms of backstage, him leaving is kind of a relief and his poor stamina would have hindered him in the future even without his backstage attitude. Not much to say here honestly, I would have expected to be more shocked to lose one from the seven this early but I can´t really muster any kind of sense of loss after his behavior regardless of how badly this could affect my ratings on short term (reading this later, looks like I was really frustrated back when this happened. This is bit worse loss than what I was willing to admit here but it wasn´t end of the world by any means). This obviously means I have to reshuffle my plans now (like not having that tag titles match I just promoted last month, nor the Heavyweight title match since Herzog was 1st contender), I was planning to add a guy into Monaghan´s Marvels anyway (that was kind of what I had planned for Daigneault although his poor performance in his first match made me rethink that) but now I definitely need to do that. Right now, I feel that two out from the four of Daigneault, Marcou, Gruver and Sites could be added to the group but think I wait for a bit and see if any other options come forward and give those four chance to prove themselves. As for the other heels, I don´t want to add Suarez or Andrews to the group while Jorgenson and Price are bad backstage attitudes and London can´t go over six minutes in ring so those three don´t fit my long term plans at the moment.

SPW World Title Match- Joe Boone © vs. Friedrich Herzog I do think that if you want your next champ to be someone who ain´t been champion yet, then Herzog is the most likely choice. Still, I do think that Boone is going to retain mainly because Loiselle, Suarez and Herzog are now all faces so it feels like heel champion has more potential opponents than what face champion would have. SPW Tag Team Title Match- The Kuroki Boys © vs. The Chivalry Will be interesting to see were Chiivalry goes now that they aren´t champs anymore, will they stay together as one of the cornerstones of your tag division or will they break up. Either way, their time as tag champs is currently over so they do the job here. Emilio Suarez vs. Perry Bryant Bryant has been getting big wins, although not by clean mannner. I actually go with draw here to continue he´s push without hurting Suarez. Levi Andrews vs. Nathan Hayes I could see this one going either way but when I doubt, I go with one of the starting seven The Faithful vs. Young Guns & Denise Alessio I could see this one going either way as Guns kind of need a win soon but Faithful just formed so I think they will get the debut win here. SPW Women's Title Match- Melinda Bell © vs. Diana Gosselin Still feels too early for title chance so Bell retains. Daniel Loiselle & Spike Morgan vs. Double Shot There´s not much doubt on winners here but will be interesting to see were this Loiselle Morgan angle is going. I wonder if heel turn for one or the other is on the cards as Herzog and Andrews moving to face side does leave opening for new top heel or two. Danny Cool vs. Scott Levesque Could see this one going either way as both are kind of bottom in the barrel in my books but Cool is more esttablished and seems like he still has bone to pick with Disco. Big Z vs. Bernie Hughes Thinking this might be a spot for a debut win. Dustin David vs. La Oscuridad This is tough one as these two are kind of even in my books. I think I go with David as I rate him marginally higher but I won´t be surprised if I end up being wrong.

I do agree with you on it being more realistic to just test the guys out. I do take a look at the stats personally but especially with TEW2016 and FoW, you kind of have to just test how they do in matches to figure how good they actually are and that´s my preferred way as well as with Fow/scouting, stats tend to lie a lot and someone who you thought would be good could be pretty bad and vice versa. That said, I do use stats as tie breaker so for example, if someone has weak top row skills and other guy has strong, I pretty much always pick the one that scouts as strong (unless I specifically look to hire jobber). More important than stats, in TEW2016 I had two main things that I looked, first was that I didn´t want anyone who was negative backstage influence and second was that they should be at least average as both face and heel stats. The first one is pretty straight forward, bad backstage rating means negative things so I want to keep it as high as possible which means that I don´t usually hire negative backstage guys unless I have to and even then they are the most likely guys to get cut. The exception to that rule was that I sometimes did hire negative influence guys as jobbers but they never got even midcard status as long as I had other alternatives. Average face/heel requirement was less important but I preferred those over someone who had weak on either face or heel simply because I prefer to have an option to turn any of my wrestlers and I always felt that weak face/heel stat just made the guy in question as one dimensional and lessened his/her potential usage for me. But, yeah, interesting to hear how others play the game and how they book.

Part of the reason why I feel that way might be my own way of booking things as I tend to play with Fog of War (or scouting in TEW2020) on which means that there´s no guarantee that new guys I bring in could perform and it takes me few shows to figure out were they should stand in terms of push (and that makes me less likely to give them wins until I know what they can do). The other thing is that I tend to be very strick on not putting someone less popular over more popular guy if the difference is more than few points (since popularity at least with small companies in TEW2016 was very easy to lose and very hard to gain once you got past 17 popularity) unless I just don´t care that the more popular guy would lose popularity. So I think that my own booking habits likely make me overly reactive to established guys losing to newbies (espesially when it happens multiple matches on the row) as you just seem to have bit of a differend booking philosophy than what I do have. Overall, if Young Guns were at 17 popularity as I would assume they were, then there wasn´t much actual harm done to them (they will quickly gain back any popularity they potentially lost from the losses) and few wins could easily get them back into midcard or above position if you choose to do so.

SPW Battle for Respect I June 1920 Friday week 2 The Loomis Plantation (South East) Attendance: 137 ANGLE: Show starts with The Incredibles and their manager Sorley Monaghan in the ring. They tell the audience that they are looking soon to be champions as not only will Herzog beat Loiselle for the SPW Heavyweight belt when they meet but tonight they will also become SPW Tag Team champions, when they beat Nasty Boys in tonight´s main event. Oh, didn´t the audience know that there even were tag belts? That´s why Monaghan and his clients always prosper, they are always one step ahead and yes, SPW indeed have tag titles and those will be fine additions to Monaghan´s Marvels as will the Heavyweight belt in few months. Luckily before Morgan and his cronies can get any further, they are interrupted by Daniel Loiselle who tells them that they will not beat him for the Heavyweight belt so whatever plans they have for this belt, they better forget about those and maybe, just maybe, if they win the tag belts Loiselle would come after those belts too, after all, any belt in this company should be hold by deserving champions and Herzog only is number one contender because of Henry interfering. Monaghan answers that they only do what is smart and that is playing as a team, something Loiselle wouldn´t know nothing about because he´s on his own isn´t he? Target on his back with no one to trust. But just for the laugh, Incredibles will give Loiselle a tag title shot next month if he finds a partner. Loiselle shakes his head for their arrogance and point out they haven´t even won the belts yet but Monaghan assures they will do that tonight and when they do, Loiselle will find out that he has no friends... Monaghan is cut of by Boone who comes into ringside. Boone tells The Incredibles that while he ain´t Loiselle´s friend, an enemy of my enemy is my allie and Boone wants to give some payback for being screwed from Heavyweight title shot and this sounds like a good place to do so and that´s why he asks Loiselle if he could be Loiselle´s partner assuming Incredibles actually manages to walk the walk and win the belts. Loiseille accepts and suddenly Monaghan and Incredibles look lot less sure about themselves. Andrews declares that he can´t understand how someone who is so obviously out of shape is even allowed to compete, much less taint the tournament that will go to history as the start of the rise for Levi Andrews? And is some morons don´t understand what he means, just watch Levi´s match and compere it to Kuroki´s match tonight to see the difference yourself. I did fine Boone for that and he was unhappy but Durban was happy. Herzog was also being annoying and beat up Monaghan after fight broke up. Seriously? What is wrong with Monaghan´s Marvels? They seem to really hate each other´s with Henry first spreading rumors and now this. I fined Herzog again and he was very unhappy about it. Whatever Mr.Ego. Jorgenson have gotten lots of heat from rest of the locker room from his bad attitude. I gave him a stern warning since that doesn´t warrant fine in my eyes and it had small negative impact on Jorgenson. Sigh, well at least he´s easy to replace unlike Herzog who´s really is trying my nerves. And, so that everything would be perfect, Hallem decided to annoy Summers so much that they almost started fighting (seriously, there´s almost as many fights backstage than there would be in ring at this point). I fined Hallam as well and Summers was pleased with that. I was planning on pushing Hallam sooner rather than later but that kind of backstage antics might cause me to second guess if he´s worth the trouble. With all that stuff happening, my backstage rating is down to 41% so you can bet I look to fix that as soon as I can. At least Kuroki did learn enough English to remove his language barrier penalty. Booking wise, this show was mainly about putting the other two belts into spotlight, I did second guess a bit if I wanted to put the tag belts on The Incredibles, not because their backstage antics but because they are my number 2 and 3 heels (unfortunately) so tag titles would be pretty much an after though with them being in Heavyweight title picture. That said, tag titles would have been after though even if I gave them to Nasty Boys as there´s not really any kind of tag division yet so in the end, I just decided to put those belts on Herzog and Henry while I try to build the division up a bit. As for Southeastern belt, I really love tournaments and saw no reason not to run one here even though I had to stretch my roster a bit to get to eight guys as guys like London or Jorgenson haven´t really done anything that would make them look like they earned a spot for title tournament. Other than those, I used the two angles to tell about the tournament and tag titles match while also forwarded both of the feuds at the same time. The first three matches were just guys who didn´t have anything particularly important to do this time getting bit of momentum. Pretty much the same goes on semi-final tag match, although I´m thinking on putting Montaine Marcou & Craig Sites into actual tag team and thus wanted to test their chemistry here. I decided to which few lower card segments with different road agents again as Lutter had way too much work. I don´t bother to note this in future as I get penalties regardless of who the road agent will be but just noting it here so that you know. Right, so not that many good results, none from the trio rookies didn´t deliver but that´s fine, perhaps I expected a bit too much out from them. What was lot less fine is that Mr.Ego (and yes, I´m calling Herzog as that now) decided he don´t want to play because I didn´t let him beat his own manager without punishment. The worst part is that he´s supposed to main event the next two shows as well... Oh well, I think I keep the booking as it is, that main event was still best match of the night despite Herzog antics and I made sure to compliment the three guys who actually performed in that match. Other than that, it wasn´t that bad, ratings ain´t great but they not supposed to be at this point, we are just kind of having guys gain some experience and popularity at the moment so actual ratings don´t matter that much. One thing that bothers me though is that somehow Loiselle and Henry have chilly momentum with Bhakta, Boone, Summers and Herzog all having cooled as well. I mean, Loiseille has won all four matches and won my main belt, how an earth he has worst momentum from entire roster? Kind of same with Henry, he has three straight wins with the last one giving him tag team belts, how´s that worse than any jobber I have? Herzog is on same boat except somehow he has bit better momentum (I really wish it would be the other way around). Boone, Bhakta and Summers I can somewhat accept, Boone has 2-2 record while both Nasty Boys have 1-2 records (although I still fail to see how that ´s worse than Jorgensen, London etc.), Anyway, enough complaining here, let´s take a look about how we are doing on popularity front. Interesting that Bhakta and Summers are so high, wonder if that´s the reason for their poor momentum, perhaps the game expects them to have better records because they so high on popularity?

He has intense attribute, meaning that his backstage influence is based on his morale and he has higher chance to get into backstage altercations so not the best, not the worst attribute but likely workable as long as he ain´t super unhappy. I do have a potential plan for Daigneault and feel that he could become one of my monster heels but we see how it goes. On stats side, he´a best skills are on microphone and his physical abilities (all five being 55 - 100 range). That said, his fundamentals looks to be OK level (for a rookie) as well with 26 -71 (basic), 39 - 84 (selling), 12 - 57 (consistency) and 33 - 78 (safety). He does also have some technical skills (18 - 63). He is Intense just like Daigneault but his stats don´t quite look as good as other two rookies looked. He does have close to Marcou level physical abilities (or it at least looks like it because of the scouting) and has high menace on 86 which could have been good for him if Daigneault wouldn´t have been on the same rookie group. His only primary skills that is above 0 - 45 is hardcore (39 - 84) and he has psychopath style so he would likely be better match to more hardcore based promotion but we see what he can produce. He´s fundamentals ain´t worst I ever seen with range varying between low end of 23 - 25 and high end of 68 - 70 with consistency being the only exception with 8 - 53 (consistency seems to be the one that is low for all three of these rookies). Right now, I have him penciled as jobber but as always, first match tells the real story.</p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>
