  1. What I don't understand about Lebron is why hasn't he developed a decent post game. He is the same size as most power forwards and he has the quickness that most power forwards don't have (besides Amare, Blake Griffin). If he could play in the post he could score easily than having to rely on jumpshots and the occasional bull rush through the lane. I know Bosh is their power forward but most of the time he tends to shoot jumpshots than bang inside.
  2. What happened to Lebron? He played passive pretty much the whole game.
  3. <p><a href="http://www.cagesideseats.com/2011/5/18/2177424/a-closer-look-at-tna-president-dixie-carter" rel="external nofollow">http://www.cagesideseats.com/2011/5/18/2177424/a-closer-look-at-tna-president-dixie-carter</a></p><p> </p><p> Interesting read. If this is true then TNA is screwed.</p>
  4. The main reason why Perkins was trade because the Celtics believed that they could not afford to resign him in the offseason. It was a dumb trade because now the Celtics don't have a decent center and Perkins was a young player that they could still have on the team once Allen, Pierce, and Garnett retire. The Wizards are going to have new uniforms next season. I wish they could change the name and logo because the Wizards is just a bad name. http://www.washingtonwizardsstore.com/
  5. I was not surprised. The owner of the Warriors has constantly stated that he wants to win now and expects to make the playoffs next year. Smart was an average coach at best but the Warriors have to sort out their roster before even thinking about making the playoffs. They need to find an actual center and also decided if they are going to trade Curry or Ellis or both players. I feel bad for Dwight. Otis Smith really screwed up the Magic and has basically put them in cap hell with Turkoglu and Arenas.
  6. I agree that Stern needs to be replaced. He has been commissioner for a while and I believe that he needs to go.This is a very interesting article about the state of the current CBA discussions between the owners and Stern. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-sternhunter021811
  7. The Suns played well but I doubt they will contend in the west. I don't blame Steve Nash for being frustrated about his team. I mean at one point the Suns were contenders and now there is a high chance they will be a lottery team. I thought the owner of the Clippers was bad but Robert Sarver is just as bad. I mean I can sort of understand letting Amare walk but to replace him with Turkoglu, Warrick, and Channing Frye is terrible. Hopefully Nash and maybe Hill can get traded to a contender. I would like to see both of them win a title.
  8. That is the one thing I never understood about TNA. They already have the financial backing from Panda Energy so its not like they don't have the money to put into advertising. Also I never see commercials for TNA on any other channels except for Spike and even on that channel it is still rare to see one.
  9. Lol that was my reaction when I read it on TMZ. This is just Jenna Morasca all over again. Times like this I wish ROH had more resources because for JWoww to get fifteen grand for one appearance while the majority of the Knockouts get paid peanuts is just wrong.
  10. Found this on another forum and it is on TMZ.com http://www.tmz.com/2010/10/10/jwoww-jersey-shore-tna-wrestling/
  11. I thought about it but if she hasn't listened to the educated smarks lately or before I don't know if she will listen to them now.
  12. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN would try to bring UFC over to their network. Boxing is barely shown besides Wednesday and Friday Night Fights. UFC would definitely benefit from ESPN's production values and like you said the added exposure.
  13. I'm surprised FX wouldn't be open to showing wrestling. TNA's product fits in with most of the shows that are currently on the channel.
  14. I have one question about TNA. Does Spike have any say in the booking or creative process? Do they try to use their influence to have certain people booked well that they think are marketable or will make TNA money?
  15. Nice logo and banner. What program do you use to make logos and banners? I tried making my own logos but most of them look really crappy.
  16. Recently I was talking to one of my friends and he used to be a big wrestling fan. He kind of knows about TNA but the only names that he know is the older guys such as Sting, Nash, RVD. I asked him if he knew who AJ Styles and Samoa Joe were and he didn't have a clue.
  17. I'm surprised Al Sharpton has not said anything yet. Both of these clowns don't do anything important unless it benefits them.
  18. I don't see how the owners are going to have any sort of leverage in the next CBA negotiations with the type of spending that is going on. Plus the Grizzlies just offered Rudy Gay an $82 million dollar extension.
  19. The Hawks are set to offer Joe Johnson a max deal.
  20. I have been checking around on other basketball sites and I was reading about the contract negotiations between Amar'e and the Suns. Apparently he wants a max contract (6 years- 120 million). Based on how the Suns' owner is notoriously cheap I am interested to see if they are willing to let him walk or sign and trade him to some other team.
  21. I didn't think Vince was going to do too much in the playoffs. What about Rashard Lewis? He played terrible for the majority of the series against the Celtics and he is getting paid max money.
  22. I bet the Trailblazers are glad that they didn't sign Hedo. The Raptors will probably have to send draft picks along with Hedo if they want to trade him away.
