Agree with this. If a workers contract is coming up, I'll often make a play for them, even if I'm not interested in signing them. It will often create a number of other competing bids, allowing me to drop out of the bidding and ensuring that they will get signed somewhere.

Another solid episode of Rampage. I like how AEW makes some guys look solid/like a real threat, even in defeat (10 vs Cole last night, Wardlow vs Punk a few weeks ago). Jade looks like money and smells like money!

I believe that anyone on a loan has creative control, even though the contract doesn't specify it. Makes sense; in the real world, the promotion loaning their wrestler out would want them protected.

I thought this turned out pretty well. I knew there was no way Wardlow would win, but I thought he looked dominant and came out of this looking stronger than before. The crowd popped HUGE when it looked like Wardlow was going to turn on MJF!

I enjoyed all the matches on Battle of the Belts. However, if Cody is only out short-term, I'm not sure why they need an interim champion. I would have rather seen another belt defended instead.
