I've been allowing a dirty doctor backstage for the sake of realism... well apparently my talent has been really taking advantage of it. <p>1987. Hulkamania is running wild in my WWF game. I'm currently building to Summerslam with Randy Savage Vs Andre the Giant. Roddy Piper Vs our fastest rising star, Ted DiBiase and the main event of Hulk Hogan defending his World title against King of the Ring 1987 winner, Jake "The Snake" Roberts.</p><p> </p><p> I also ditched one of my B shows and picked up an A show. It's a bit unrealistic but I was having morale problems with my upper Midcard to main event guys only wrestling once a month if I could fit them in.</p>

<p>Just started a WCW 1997 game, trying to see what I can accomplish there.</p><p> </p><p> I decided to send Goldberg to developmental. I want the future of my company to not be injuring people.</p>

Yeah i think you can go into the editor and change it so the belts are fixed. Also you can go into your development company and give them set events. Have them weekly or annually.

Does anyone have any strategies for beating established companies in national battles? They have all of the star power and tend to beat me pretty handily in each round and knock me back down to Cult.

He's getting highly rated matches with Shinsuke Nakamura who I'm bribing NJPW constantly to borrow and its looking great.</p><p> </p><p> Booking wise I'm building up "The Pope" on my iMPACT! brand while otherwise mostly trying to keep the status quo. Retribution is my rising stars brand as I have Austin Aries, CM Punk and Bryan Danielson all slowly clicking into position for their shot. I'm thinking Punk Vs Joe for the world title at BFG as long as nothing goes wrong.</p>

<p>So I've had RVD in my company for close to two years now and he's only wrestled a grand total of maybe ten matches for TNA. How does that work?</p><p> </p><p> REHAB. CONSTANT REHAB. he's spent a combined year and a half (first stint was 7 months. Second stint was 9 months) sitting in rehab. He's still doing soft drugs but thankfully he's gotten to the point where I don't have guys complaining about him being high in the ring anymore. I sent Jeff Hardy once for 9 months and he cleaned right up and doesn't do anything anymore. Rob can not be stopped. Only reduced.</p><p> </p><p> Anyway I've decided to reward Rob for his commitment to doing a little less drugs each time by setting him up for a big feud with AJ Styles over the world title come slammiversary. Here's hoping he doesn't get caught having issues again.</p>

<p>So TNA is finally in a state where I can put a brand split into place. I really like the logo. I can't help it.</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, AJ Styles is reigning over the iMPACT! roster as the *Eric Bischoff approved face of the brand. He's been feuding with Jeff Hardy for the last three months, both fighting tooth and nail for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.</p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile on Retribution, Samoa Joe is the NWA World Heavyweight Champion after beating Rhino for the vacant title in a singles match. He now finds himself challenged by the sinister "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. Who has taken to using his brain to attempt to overcome Joe's sheer strength.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> *Ric Flair got snatched up by WWE who was willing to pay over 100k for a guy only willing to work pay per views. I couldn't justify that and had AJ kick Flair to the curb.</p>

Aww thanks. Good picks too. Although Dustin died in my game while training up my developmental youngsters. I wanted to bring him up eventually.

Problem is in day 2 of negotiations Champagne Lover has signed up for a movie and will be leaving in 3 months. Not sure whether it's really worth it now to essentially have him for 2 months, then lose him for 6 along with an extra $230,000 in monthly wages.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I thought you don't have to pay them if they're off making a movie.</p>

<p>So from a storyline perspective to a business perspective, I'm having some issues with my competition. AAA, CMLL and the WWE are all dog piling onto my guys the second their contracts run out. Jeff Hardy went from being worth 30k a month to 70k. Austin Aries has gone from being worth 20k to 45k. These jerks won't stop!</p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile, whenever the chance comes for me to return the favour I've been at cult size and unable to sign away any actual talent. Now that I'm national they've all got solid contracts for the next 900 days. I CAN SURE BID ON YOUR REFEREES THOUGH VINCE. MUAHAHAHA.</p><p> </p><p> Also, I'm starting a brand split. iMPACT! Will have the TNA World Title and the Global Championship and my second brand, Retribution, will have the NWA World Title and the X Division Championship. I'm just hoping that my impending national battle loss won't cost me any of my shows or else it may get a tad difficult.</p>

1985 WWF, well I wouldn't say cultural sensitivity was a thing yet so... spray him with silver paint, slap a robot mask on him and rename him "Mr. Roboto" after the hit Styx song that was released two years prior. Also have his entrance theme be said song.

Does your company allow men to wrestle? also is he a man? That's all I can think of.

Just wondering, is there a way to increase star quality besides changing weight classes? I ask because my ch-ch-chosen ones aren't that impressive and I would like to make them bigger deals.

<p>So I had AJ Styles turn heel at Bound For Glory in a desperate attempt to hold onto the world title against an unstoppable Samoa Joe. He has been joined by Ric Flair in a business partnership based around the fact that a young handsome looking champion is better for ratings and merchandising than a grizzled ass kicking monster. In terms of demographics at least.</p><p> </p><p> They'll be joined by The British Invasion and a muscle that will be determined later on. http://i.imgur.com/AyBlDjY.png From a quality standpoint its not the best show I've ever done, but from a buyrate and enjoyment of the storylines standpoint its the best ever. Well I can say I'm having fun with it. Companies are closing down a bit quickly for my liking but it's a fun game.
