  1. <p>SWF - July 2020</p><p> </p><p>

World - Remo - beat Champagne Lover for the strap. Dropping it to Spencer Spade later this month.</p><p> </p><p>

North American - Mainstream Hernandez - beat Freddie Huggins - Left SWF for TCW for a couple of years but back now and on a tear as "Mainstream". </p><p> </p><p>

Tag - Natural Storm - They've held the belts for a year and are going to drop it at SC40 to the Natural Athletes (Des Davies and Ross Henry.)</p><p> </p><p>

Television - Frankie Perez beat Nelson Callum. As per usual with the TV belt I don't quite know when he will be dropping it or to who. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  4. What a great post, you're save sounds more interesting than mine. Full of turns and younger guys pushed. (This is my first save in my first TEW game though :D )

    I just did SC39.

Lover went over Remo in the big rematch from 38.

Primus Allen bested Rouge in a steel cell in Allen's first SC as a main eventer.

    Hawkins beat Chord

    Bruce beat Gilmour

And I was pleased to have Scythe and Hell's Bouncer beat Dark Angel and Skull DeBones. Really made sense to me and elevated the two young guys. Beat sneaky to have Bones come back for one last match after I had made a huge deal of Vengeance retiring only a couple of months earlier.

Bit like Biker Taker coming back after Taker Taker retired..

  5. Hi dudes, I've got WWE network at the moment and I watched something called Bret vs Shawn: The Rivalry or something like that. It was brillant a two hour sit down interview with them and Jim Ross.

Is there anything on the network to touch that? And what about more stuff like the Monday Night War doc? I'm not that fussed about that doc, seen it or similar stuff before but I don't see where it is on the network, am I missing a hidden documentary section?

  6. <p>I'll tell you what is going on guys.</p><p> </p><p>

First I make Champagne Lover my figurehead and then after about a month he goes into Time Decline at the age of 37. And then about 5 months after that his body time goes to flabby!</p><p> </p><p>

I thought I was safe from him going into decline for at least another 3 or 4 years, I thought he would be like Jack Bruce. </p><p> </p><p>

Oh well, those are the breaks.</p>

  7. <p>Anyone gone deep into an SWF thread and want to share their SC headliners?</p><p> </p><p>

    I went:</p><p> </p><p>

SC36 - Valiant went over Remo in the main and Jack Bruce beat Sean McFly in a Once In A Lifetime.</p><p> </p><p>

SC37 - Valiant went over Wolf Hawkins and Jack Bruce lost to Remo.</p><p> </p><p>

SC38 - Remo beat Champagne Lover in a Once In a Lifetime and Jack Bruce lost to Wolf Hawkins.</p><p> </p><p>

SC39 - Plan is to re-run the main event, Lover beating Remo and have a Once In A Lifetime between Sean McFly and Rocky Golden. (Jack Bruce is due to face a heel Angry Gilmour.)</p><p> </p><p>

No ideas for the big 40 just yet. Could do Primus Allen winning the belt for the first time, maybe against Jay Chord. A real new era match. Or Nicky Champion v Remo which I don't think has ever happened, don't really like the idea of an "outsider" going over in the main event of a big round number SC. One last main even for Jack Bruce maybe, as a heel possibly.</p>

  8. It's out of your control, I believe - elimination order only comes up in battle royals.

if it helps, just imagine that the other 6 ganged up on them and it needed a big pile-on pin to eliminate them from the match.

    Thanks, I'll do that. :D

I'd like to see elimination order and number of falls in an iron man/2 out of 3 falls match put within our control in a future game. (No idea how much effort is involved in doing that of course, so very easy for me to say that.)

So I just did a brand split into 3 brands and added them into the roster for the next year. I just finished Supreme Challenge 36 and had the best PPV show that I've ever had in this save:<p> </p><p> Jack Mole (aka Tommy Cornell) (W) v Vengeance to win the SWF World Title (99)</p><p> James P (W) vs Angry Gilmore to retain SWF NA title (82)</p><p> Jim Daubs (aka Wolf Harkins) (W) v John Greed for TCW World Title (90)</p><p> Edd Stone (W) v Spencer Spade retained TCW National Title (82)</p><p> Valiant (W) v Rocky Golden retained DIW International Title (85)</p><p> Greg Gauge (W) v Blackfire for SWF Cruiserweight title (81)</p><p> Robbie Retro/John Anderson (W) v Jeff Mock/Steve Daubs (aka Natural Storm) (97)</p><p> Hi-5 (Gino/Chill) (W) v Uprising (Masked Cougar/Patriot) v Full Force (Sayeed/Joel Bryant) (TCW Tag Titles) (78)</p><p> Complete Package (Joss Thompson/Beast Banton) (W) v Brain Damage (Kerry Wayne/Albert Bull) to win SWF tag titles (77)</p><p> Mother Nature is a Bitch (Avalanche/Killer Shark) (W) v Awesomness (Huey Cannonball/Jefferson Stardust) (cage match) (88)</p><p> </p><p> And in between I had various interview segments that ranged from 86 to a pair of 100* segments.</p><p> </p><p> Final rating was 98 for the show seen on the SWF Network for a rating of 39.23 and 102,000 people at the show. I'm very happy with how that show went.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> What strange turn back time 1 year dataset are you using?</p>

  11. Are you talking about Wrestlemania 29?

If so, yeah, there was burn out. There was little filler breaking up all the action and it made the show drag.

Undertaker and CM Punk put on a great match.

Lesnar and Triple H had a fun brawl.

Cena and Rock had a good-ish match, but watching them all in a row makes Cena and Rock's match suffer and not just because the previous two matches were just better, but also because by the time Rock and Cena started, the audience had already been on two insane rollercoasters of matches and had no chance to recollect themselves to really enjoy the main event.

Thanks for the response, just checked, yes, that's the one. OK, fair enough, what about 19?

Shawn Michaels defeated Chris Jericho 22:34

Triple H © (with Ric Flair) defeated Booker T 18:45

Hulk Hogan defeated Mr. McMahon 20:47

The Rock defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin Singles match 17:55

Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle © 21:07

I've seen a lot of people say they have made him their next figurehead so that was my plan with my latest save. <p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Sorry, been meaning to reply to this for ages.</p><p> </p><p> I'm just starting 2019 and Valiant has about 3 months left on his contract and I'm letting him go. It's a lot like you, he won his first title at SC36 going over Remo for the belt. He goes on a 13 month run beating Hawkins at SC37. And then dropped it to Hawkins the next month. But he's never become a "top" guy. And by this time (rightly or wrongly) I have Golden AND Champion (and Lover) so he is way down the babyface pecking order. And he's a bitch about every loss as well. In fact, he's a bitch about draws even. I'm sure he's slightly upset at least one point about a sports entertainment finish. </p><p> </p><p> Like I say, he's off to whomever wants him and I'm moving Primus Allen to the main event (where he should already be.)</p>

I'm looking to get a new laptop and am wondering what bits need to be great to run a game like TEW at an optimal performance.</p><p> </p><p> Knowing that TEW or GDS games (or indeed any game that I would play) in general are not graphically intense means that I know that the processing of data is more important. But the tech terminology is what trips me up. Mine is an i5 that I got for about £350 and the game plays like a dream on that but the WMMA games played perfectly well on my last laptop when it was 8 or 9 years old.</p>

Put them in a once in a lifetime match, unless they have already fought each other or don't meet the requirements. Anyway, put Lover over Bruce to pass the torch and gain that overness and go with him. It will probably improve your business, given his skills.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for the quick reply.</p><p> </p><p> Change the figurehead over now and put them in the match when the opportunity arises?</p><p> </p><p> Lover is off filming a movie for another couple of months and I have a lot for him to do when he comes back.</p>
  15. <p>Hey guys, just in hospital where my second child has been born so I have a little time on my hands to write a post.</p><p> </p><p>

Supreme Challenge 38 (2018) went down just yesterday and I was massively pleased with how it went down. It took loads of planning but the whole card was full of storylines and very few fights were thrown together.</p><p> </p><p>

These 10 bouts all had some sort of storyline. I've got my head round the game now and got better at having feuds last a good while, not just three straight months, and putting more than two people in a storyline:</p><p> </p><p>

Gague Brothers came up short against Natural Athletes (Des Davies and Ross Henry) - don't you love when you put a tag team together and it feels almost cannon - but will win titles next month.</p><p> </p><p>

Vengeance defeated Dark Angel. More for the spectacle of these two meeting that anything else. I edited it to allow Angel to work in the US, he's about the 3rd most popular wrestler in the world & a C in the US so why can I not hire him.</p><p> </p><p>

Nicky Champion defeated Scythe. Really felt this worked well. Side attraction to the above. Angel beat Scythe to get him over on a previous PPV and these 4 had a tag match as well and then Champion wins a short match here.</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant went over Jay Chord, the blow off for these two after feuding for months.</p><p> </p><p>

Primus Allen finally got his hands on Mikey Lau in a Last Man Standing match after Lau cost him the North American title. It wasn't pretty. </p><p> </p><p>

Multimillionairo beat Angry Gilmour to retain the NA title. This is part of the same storyline as the above.</p><p> </p><p>

Money in the Bank style 6 way including Rogue, Josh Taylor, Brandon James. Rocky Golden wins. He's just lost twice to Remo so no idea when he'll cash in but we'll see. </p><p> </p><p>

Sean McFly went over Rich Money. These two will have better, longer matches before this feud is settled.</p><p> </p><p>

Jack Bruce beat Wolf Hawkins. First time 1 v 1 for these two. They've shared a ring many times, including the famous 2 v 2 Steel Cell match also featuring Rich Money & Angry Gilmour, but never 1 on 1 and I was thrilled to get an A* for this.</p><p> </p><p>

Finally Remo shockingly defeated Champagne Lover in their once in a lifetime match. With Lover off to film a movie only days after the event he couldn't take the strap. Flash pinfall, tainted win, interference from Hawkins, all leaving plenty of storyline when Lover comes back. Only an A for this one. </p><p> </p><p>

After all this I realised I had ZERO planned for after the event. Absolutely nothing. Hawkins and Bruce will rematch but not straightaway. Chord has joined with Hawkins to keep Bruce busy. Champion and Vengeance will fight Remo for the belt in a three way. Vengeance will cost Champion the belt and they will have a casket match to blow off the feud. </p><p> </p><p>

Longer term plans include: a possible Bruce heel turn, a Hawkins/Money split and turn for one of them. Lover finally taking the belt. Maybe a Golden vs Lover once in a lifetime match with a handshake afterwards.</p>

  16. <p>Right guys. Plan was Remo v Champagne Lover at Supreme Challenge. Once in a lifetime match with Lover winning the strap.</p><p> </p><p>

But, Champagne Lover leaves to film a movie a week or two after SC. I went ahead as planned and had Lover win the Rumble so it seems like I have 2 options that I can think of.</p><p> </p><p>

Continue with the plan but have Remo win instead. Or put Nicky Champion into the mix and do a triple threat and have Champion run with the belt for a while.</p><p> </p><p>

Any thoughts on those two options or anyone got any more?</p>

  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="skinsfan55" data-cite="skinsfan55" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>No. You should have got a news popup that he was leaving in three months to film a movie. If you put the strap on him right before he left that's just from not paying attention. <p> </p><p> He shouldn't be gone that long. You could pull a ECW (The FTW World Heavyweight Championship) and have a new guy bring in his OWN world title belt and then have him wrestle CL when he comes back to unify the titles. SWF has a bunch of unused belt models in the game, or you could use a generic one.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks, it's still 2 months 3 weeks away but I've been planning him going over Remo at SC since the day he started. It's not very realistic, should be some negoitation involved when it's your top guy. Maybe I'll have someone else win the rumble now.</p>
