  1. I don't know why I keep getting a "no announcer" penalty for every match even though I have Goemon Inoue hired as an announcer and set to be on the broadcast team for the event in question. Is this a glitch? Or am I missing something about assigning announcers that I just never noticed before?
  2. https://imgur.com/a/Y031Sik I got it from the GDS forums back when TEW 2020 came out, so I don't remember who made it, but it's not my logo
  3. I'd like to request a few event logos, please. My custom promotion is Summit Pro Wrestling and it's a North Western American company with a Rocky Mountain/Winter theme (because the summits of mountains have snow, plus I like snow, lol) The one's I'd like, in order of importance, are: SPW Avalanche (weekly TV A show) SPW Blizzard (supplementary weekly show, think Rampage to Dynamite) SPW Everest (promotion's Wrestlemania/All Out equivalent) SPW Wrestler of the Year Tournament (one night tournament with all the most over wrestlers, equally important as Everest in terms of prestige, held every December on New Year's Eve) SPW Spring Thaw (first show of the spring, lots of new feuds happening) SPW Hailstorm (normal PPV) SPW Glacial Drift (normal PPV) SPW Ice Age (normal PPV) SPW Polar Vortex (normal PPV) Feel free to be as creative as you want. Thanks in advance for anyone who takes a crack at it ^_^
  4. How long does a company need to be in the red before I can buy them? I'm doing a Cverse run right now with a small custom company and I've already purchased three other companies that were in the red. Recently, CZCW had an event fire where one of their employees embezzled all their money and left the country, leaving them almost 5 million dollars in debt. They've been in the red for over a month, but every time I try to buy them, I get the "they have no interest in selling because they're not in a bad enough financial situation yet" message. They're still running shows too, despite the fact that they shouldn't have enough money to pay anyone, and they're very slowly chipping away at their debt.
  5. I have no idea how modders can have new skins out within a few days of the demo being released, but the graphics guy they pay can't even get a skin done to meet an already delayed release date. Especially when the game is getting delayed again because the new skin isn't ready. There seems to be a lot of stupid decisions being made.
  6. I've pretty much lost interest at this point due to the long delay. I've played around in the demo, but I only play one save so I've been rationing what I do in the game so I don't reach the end too far from the full release. Since it's been so long though, and now it might be even longer, I've gone through so many stories and matches in my head I have no real desire to "go back" and book them all in the game.
  7. Same. Which I guess is kind of realistic because how many times has any of the stuff in Dirty Tricks actually worked in real life in modern times? But as a gameplay mechanic it's pretty useless.
  8. These are amazingly detailed and look great. Would it be possible for you to throw them all in a google drive folder though? It would be much appreciated.
  9. Man, the hot takes are scorching... JR is not out of touch with today's product. Xcalibur is the knowledge guy on the AEW commentary team, JR feeds him lines so he can explain things people need to know. When JR does talk about the AEW wrestlers, he knows what he's talking about. The problem with the AEW commentary desk is, like someone said above, there are three play by play guys. Sometimes, they all talk over each other trying to do play by play, and JR, being the oldest, sometimes comes off slower when they do that. But to say JR hasn't been good for a decade just shows you don't know much about commentary. Or, more likely, are just parroting the current cool smark wrestling opinion.
  10. Vince is more out of touch than he's ever been, WTF are you talking about? He should have retired ten years ago.
  11. I voted for c-verse character but I always create an OC pre-game and play as him. He's usually different every game, and I generally pick a new render in free pictures and build the character around that pic.
  12. Yeah. It wouldn't bother me as much if the yellow/gold popped more, but as it is green is really bright, almost glowing, and yellow/gold looks so dull. At first I thought the colors were based on some kind of importance I wasn't understanding (like, bright green for good areal and flashiness and yellow for good brawling for a high flyer wrestler since obviously brawling is less important for a high flyer) but that ended up not tracking at all. I would love it if the blue came back, and the gold/yellow replaced the mid ranged skill color, so we'd get a nice logical red-yellow-green progression, and then the bright blue for great skills/ratings. Or, if blue is out for some reason, maybe a bright purple, since purple in the past was a color reserved for kings and emperors. Either way, definitely a minor thing, but helpful.
  13. I'd like a "both" option as well. Or at the very least have the AI always fill out secondary roles like road agents and referees.
  14. I absolutely despise when WWE does this in real life (especially since it's random who can keep their name and who can't) so I never do this in game. I've never even thought to do it in the game until I saw this topic. That said, you guys came up with some pretty good names. I especially like CM Perfect, because it has that authentic WWE, Dusty gave this two seconds of thought and said "CM Pwefect. Thas yo name, kid. Now go be a stah." energy.
  15. Anything that happens before or after the match needs a separate angle booked. Anything that happens during the match can be set with a road agents note (ie: interference, cheap finish, etc)
  16. Yeah and I very much appreciate that, but before the original release date those patches were packed with necessary fixes. Two days after the game should have come out and the well of serious, gamebreaking problems that affect everybody is rapidly drying up. Nothing in the last two patches was anything that should have delayed a release. If all we're getting for the next two days is daily tweaks and a few fixes for crashes that most people never experience, then I'd say this delay was a panicked, rash decision based on a bunch of forum whining from people who had wildly idiotic expectations of what the game should be, despite the dev diaries clearly spelling out most of the non-UI gripes before the beta ever came out.
  17. Two days past the original release date and the issues fixed in each patch have already started dwindling down to a few rare crashes and glitches and a couple nitpickey changes to how the game works. I'm not seeing anything happening here that we needed a delay for. I hope we get some communication soon about what changes are coming that made a two week delay necessary, because if this is it then the game should be out already.
  18. Nah I like it. Getting a 70 one week and a 72 the next and 71 the next is much more satisfying than just constantly getting B's. I feel like it's another way besides ratings to get a feel for how your show is doing week to week.
  19. I always turn it off. Every time I leave it on I end up doing too many storylines with constant run ins and beatdowns and I add in way too many unnecessary people just to avoid the penalty. I'd rather just book the stories and feuds I want. I do try to keep it realistic though, and I don't just spam my best workers in matches on every show to get a good rating. That would be boring.
  20. Exactly. I don't need a game to be perfect. Just feature complete with the ability for things to be fixed later. Adam's been great with the daily patches, and I'd be happy to pay to get the full game now instead of waiting. Sadly, I guess that's not gonna happen, but I'm still hopeful for more time added to the demo.
