Yes, but as your play forward are the new wrestlers entering the game world at all historically accurate?
I want to start something in the past, but as I play into year 10 for example, start to see an accurate representation of new workers entering the game world.
I know it would be a huge undertaking to create such a mod, but I know how much this community loves this game so I thought it might be out there somewwere! lol

There's over 1,000 yet to debut workers in my modification. You'll have real life superstars debuting from the 70s right up until now, with the likes of Adam Cole and Adam Page following the likes of Triple H, Steve Austin and The Rock - who themselves follow the likes of Bret Hart and Arn Anderson . It's by no way complete (this would be nigh on impossible) but they're all "historically accurate" to the best of my knowledge in so much as they debut at the time they debuted in real life and their statistics give them the room to become the superstars they are today. If you're still unsure, download it and have a look for yourself. 😛

Thank you so much! I feel like I've read the bio of every announcer on LuchaWiki and must have missed that one! I've also identified from the images on his bio that Alfredo Ruiz worked alongside him so I'll go for those two,

Principe Valiente also joined Alcatraz and Alfredo Ruíz at some point in the early-90s if you want to go with a trio.

  3. I was really happy with the response the skin got so I've kept working on it. As a thank you, here are some more screenshots including a reworked office as I wasn't totally happy with it but now think it fits the aesthetic much better. This is the last time I'll clog this thread up with it though so I'll let you all know more when I'm further along. Thank you, everyone.

  4. Would anyone be interested in a Football Manager 2023 inspired skin for TEW?

I started it last night on a whim so it's far from finished and not all the graphics are done, hence they're not perfect examples but it gives you an idea of what I'm going for. The main things to look at are how I've lined up the background in the main images so there's not a clear border between the various bars and everything else, and I've also done different backgrounds for second and third "windows" opening to make it clearer how many "windows" are open as this is always something that's annoyed me with TEW20. You can also see I've managed to add written descriptions to the bars which I only did because that's how Football Manager does them but I actually really like.

I can't decide whether it's something I like enough to finish though and I'm also weary that a few of the skins I've done since Evanescent Reborn haven't gained much traction so I don't really want to go through all that effort again if it doesn't get much use. So yeah, I thought I'd throw it out there and see if there's much love and I didn't want to start a new topic just for this so figured I'd throw it in here. Please let me know if it's something I should pursue or not. Thanks.

Looking for a logo for my RTG game.

    Kitsune Wrestling Federation - KWF

It's a puroresu fed... in Queensland. Gonna be a really interesting RTG, and I will give full credit if/when I start doing a diary for this.

The primary colors are #7F0000 and #FFD900, and the logo has to have a fox as a main component, and be themed like a soccer team's logo.

Colours aren't perfect but hopefully it suits your needs.

I don't suppose anyone could create a logo for my company based in Apex, NC. Apex Wrestling Association (AWA).

The company chan change name to something easier if needed such as:

    - Apex Championship Wrestling (ACW)
    - Apex Wrestling Federation (AWF)
    - Apex Pro Wrestling (APW)
    - or any name along those lines but with the name "APEX".

Currently a tiny fed but with the room to grow. Hoping to obtain a logo that can see me through.

Please use any creative license deemed fit :)

In in ideal world, I'd love events, belts, tv etc. Basically the full whack. But I have zero creativity or image creation talent! Can always just use generic ones for those if need but a logo would be amazing if anyone could.

    Thanks a lot.

I stupidly made a start on this at 'round 6.30PM and as any father of young children will know, that's a stupid time to start anything. I realise I could have just saved them until I finished the others, but I figured I'd tease you and finish the rest tomorrow. 😛 I won't be doing titles so if someone else wants to try them then be my guest but here's a logo, banner and the start of 13 events (I'll do 13 instead of 12 so you can choose one to use for television).

and also ... someone got a good lookin' picture of the WCW Women's Cruiserweight title?
i can only find that one:

maybe there is a better one out there? 🙃

This is actually a custom creation from one of the WWE 2K games because actual pictures of the title suck, as you've seen for yourself. It does look realistic enough for TEW games though, as I've used it in the past and I don't think anyone has noticed. 😛

I've hunted high and low with no success; does anyone know if an image of D-Von Dudley exists before he joined ECW? In all his earliest ECW pics I've found he has his Dudley glasses on which I'm trying to avoid in case he doesn't use that gimmick.

I feel your pain! I literally looked for days for a picture of him under his "A-Train" gimmick. It's like he didn't exist before ECW, although he definitely did. In the end, I gave up but here's a picture of him from his ECW days without the Dudley glasses (I've also included a picture of Bubba from the same image in case you wanted to add it for tag team purposes):

  9. There were no subscriptions and although there were PPV providers around this time, they certainly didn't find professional wrestling as a worthwhile airer. Obviously, you could pretend you are a pioneer and be the first to run a PPV but if you want to be more realistic, they'd more often than not just be televised (on cable) as a "normal" show but bring about the end of storylines and be more likely to see a title change hands.

  10. It's since the move to a new forum host. All the links are still there, they just don't work properly. However, if you copy the link (right click the link from the original post and click "Copy link address") and paste it into your address bar, you can alter it slightly by adding "forum." to the start of the address and changing "forum" to "topic" to push through the original link. For example, take the first link "USPW" which is "http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=545211" and change it to "forum.greydogsoftware.com/topic/showthread.php?t=545211" to make the link work correctly, and save you the time of searching for it yourself.

@Jaded or any moderator should be able to do that to all the links in the original post if they wanted to make it even easier.

EDIT: You don't even have to change "forum" to "topic" as I just tried it without and it still worked. So yeah, just add "forum." to the start of the address and it pushes the original link through. 👍

I’m pleased to announce that Version 3.0 of Territory Daze is now officially released. It really is a huge update so if you’ve never played this modification before, now is the time to do so. Or, if you’re a regular player of this modification, I think you’re going to see a big difference in how things look, how the game world develops, and how many workers you recognise as they come into the game world. Here are a few examples of what is included in this update:

    • With a big thank you to Taker, I’ve added narratives that comprise the whole of the 1970s. It really brings the game world to life and also adds a bit of colour to those other shows you’re competing with outside of the wrestling world.

    • I’ve added a European scene with the additions of Frances “Fédération Française de Catch Professionnel” and Germanys “Internationaler Berufsringkämpfer-Verband” which has allowed me to give workers who were already in the data their set European popularity whilst also expanding the modification. For example, André the Giant now has popularity in his native France.

    • I’ve completely redone title histories; fixing countless errors that have come to light since I first made the modification, improving some pictures and also changing the date format of all titles.

    • I basically started from scratch with the whole picture pack, improving countless things to ensure things are a lot more uniform from one worker to the next. I’ve also changed a lot of pictures to better quality ones, and/or tried my best to improve the quality of the pictures that I already had. I think this picture pack is about as good as it can get when I’m searching for pictures of people from the 70s but as always, if you find a better picture, please let me know.

    • And, as always, I’ve improved the number of workers (both workers from the start and those yet to debut). The number I started with was 1,723, and the number now stands at 2,295 which gives you an idea of how many names I’ve added.

There's probably a bunch more that I've done that you'll notice but I'll leave them for you to find rather than spoil any small, nice surprises. So, without further ado, get out there and play this modification and above all else, enjoy yourselves. You've earned it. And if you'd like to buy me a bottle of Coke (I don't drink coffee) for my work, you'll find the information below - as always. Thank you for dropping by.

Grey Dog Software has recently made it very clear that we aren't allowed to link directly to donations on their forums to ensure they're covered if anything was to go wrong, but they've graciously allowed people to do it through third party websites such as social media. Therefore, I've created a Twitter account to simply link people to my (or more importantly my wife's) PayPal account. Please be aware that all my modifications are and ALWAYS WILL BE freeware and I do them because I enjoy it, but if you would like to give me something in return then it'll be truly appreciated. Thanks.

  12. Yeah, sorry. It's taking a bit longer than expected. Not only did a few things pop in my life that meant I couldn't do as much as I hoped I could in the aforementioned one/two week(s) but when I did get to finish up what I have started, it led me to other things I wanted to incorporate. Right now, I have 32 names left to add so it'll probably be done in under a week. My apologies everyone but I assure you, if you're a fan of this modification, you're going to love this update.

  13. I've been working really hard on a huge update for this and I was desperately trying to get it out for Christmas but alas, as you can tell, there's still some stuff I want to finish up. I could spoil it and tell you what it entails but where's the fun in that? Hopefully it's only a week or two away though, so I'll reveal more then. I hope you all had an excellent Christmas. :)
